Delicious pizza, nice service staff

When the sole complaint I have about a place is "I've had better carbonara" it's not bad - I love carbonara and get it at most Italian restaurants I go to. The risotto my friend got was also quite nice. Lovely experience, the wait staff was wonderfully pleasant about the neurodivergent kid asking for the wifi.

The Portofino is our favorite local restaurant around the corner. The bosses 😉 are very friendly, always ready to chat and very polite. We always get extra parmesan and garlic oil with our pizza. The changing weekly menu has seasonal dishes. I especially love the Spaghetti Tartufo. Definitely one of our favorite places in the neighborhood. Thank you for always welcoming us so warmly.

We ate pizza and pasta, as well as risotto and it was all excellent. Nice service, everyone was very nice and accommodating. We loved it, the food was really tasty and we will definitely come back!! :-)

I've had a great review of the Portofino for a while now. I was always called shakira in the restaurant, and since today I am aware of the meaning of the word and what it means, I will withdraw my good review.

Unfortunately the pizza always arrives "unfinished". Pasta dishes are delivered in mini children's portions. What a shame, at these prices ;)

Best pizza in Giesing! Have been regular guests at Portofino since it opened and the food is always delicious. The entire staff is always very friendly and accommodating! In short, our regular pizzeria is around the corner :-)).

It's probably quite good for ordering pizza and picking it up. It was pretty tasty and you can estimate the time you spend here. But I really have no understanding of this appetizer platter for 4 people. We were expecting to get 5-6 specialties, maybe a bit of Vitello Tanato, maybe a bit of Carprese or a bit of ham. We got a strange bunch of loud things. The way it is served is absolutely unappetizing and unfortunately the eye also eats it. By the way, we entered the restaurant shortly after 5 p.m. when it was still pretty empty. Nevertheless, we waited over an hour for this appetizer platter and then another 20-25 minutes for the main course (which was also wrong with two people at the table). So it's a bit strange when the store is actually empty.

Food was good but I would like to see improvement in atmosphere

I went there with zero expectations and was so pleasantly surprised. The pizza was super big and the dough was really tasty with a soft edge. The topping was delicious despite the large waistband. Will definitely come again. 😍👌🏻 (Ambience a bit deducted because it could have been warmer for me)

Went here for dinner today. The service was very accommodating, the pizza was really tasty. We'd love to come back. Value for money was good, my pizza cost €13.90.

We went to this Italian restaurant late in the evening without a reservation with the whole family and were still greeted warmly and quickly got a table. The service was attentive and courteous, despite no reservation. The food was excellent – ​​authentic Italian, freshly prepared and came to the table very quickly. We waited very long time that waiter comes for order after we asked for biers. Finally Had to ask o ourselves to make an order!… ordered carpaccio for starters and pizza. Every starter in menu has a disclaimer that it is to be served with bread. We haven’t got the bread and then when asked for it got information we should have ordered it! Waited then very long time for bread, couldn’t enjoy the meal. 3 ⭐️ because food itself was good but service was a catastrophe and checked our patience. Waiter and manager definitely didn’t want to speak any English so we were very polite and communicated with studied German and did our best but got impression that we are not welcome every step of the way

Woman Claims “Best Vegetable Pizza Ever.” Noodles exactly right. Generous with meat and mushrooms. Sauce could be a touch more tomatoey for my taste. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Without the construction noise it would be perfect. But that's the city's fault.

I can only recommend it is the best pizzeria, unfortunately I haven't been there for a while but it is the best pizza far and wide ps they also have gluten-free pizzas

Celebrated my 60th birthday with over 40 people. Everyone was thrilled. Loving decoration perfect, unfortunately the order deadline was 10:30 p.m. and the guests had to leave after 11 p.m. The pizzas and the fantastic appetizer plate were praised

We had pre-ordered by phone for the evening, it was delivered 2 minutes late and the driver immediately apologized. The pizza was very generously topped and extremely tasty. All pizzas were also available as gluten-free for an additional €3.50. We recommend.

The restaurant is a little hidden. The staff is friendly. The food came quickly and my son's pizza even came first. Very obliging. My wife had a salad and I had the tagliatelle with chanterelles and bacon in a white wine sauce.

Statement on Tobias Axmann 2 weeks ago. My son ordered a pizza to go to boarding school and he didn't like the pizza, as he wrote. I've been there twice and I have to be honest, I would have expected better for the price. I'm a cook myself and I know what a good pizza is. Unfortunately I was disappointed twice, but I didn't say anything because that's how I was brought up. Tobias goes to Portofino at least once every week for pizza. This time when the pizza was delivered he just didn't like it. Something like that can happen. Today my son was banned from Portofino, which I find a disgrace. Unfortunately, criticism is not accepted, and unfortunately he was not allowed to have his own opinion either. What the Portofino has allowed itself to do is a complete audacity.

I have rarely experienced a pizzeria as excellent as this one! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a pleasant smell and a friendly atmosphere. The staff is extremely courteous and ensures that you immediately feel at home. The pizza itself is an absolute delight: the dough is perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time, the tomato sauce tastes wonderfully fresh and the selection of toppings leaves nothing to be desired. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients, which you can taste in every bite. The other dishes on the menu are also worth recommending, and the desserts are to die for. Ordered pizza today and the pizza tasted like bread, the former chef made the pizzas better. The pizza was really bad today and if I were you I would think about changing the company. I will avoid the restaurant in the future until further notice. The pizza was cold. Embarrassing to the point where it can't be done anymore. It was an ORDER at about 6pm, just FYI.

I ate there today for the first and last time, I ordered fresh asparagus with potatoes and hollandaise sauce twice and a small side salad and what do I get, asparagus salad was sent back the first time and explained again what I wanted, he brought it to me Another asparagus salad (the same one just in a different bowl) and hollandaise sauce in a separate container. We were at Portofino for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and great pizzas, at fair prices. This was definitely not our last visit.

Die Pizzen schmecken hier wirklich gut aber Salate sind ein Witz und das schlimmste ist jedesmal einen anderen Preis zu zahlen ich hab das Gefühl die Leute würfeln ihre Preise nach Lust und Laune.

Kellner, essen und Ambiente Topp. Ein Lokal wo sich blinde leute leicht zurecht finden. Danke macht so weiter.

Bin neu ins Viertel gezogen und hole mir gerne dort essen ab. Super leckere Pizza, einer der besten in München, schmackhafte Pasta. Demnächst werde ich auch den Fisch und das Fleisch probieren. Sehr zu empfehlen. Servicekräfte und auch die pizzabäcker sind mega freundlich und humorvoll.

Auf der Terrasse kann man schön sitzen. Sehr aufmerksame und überaus freundliche Bedienung. Pizza hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Es lohnt sich auf alle Fälle ein Wiederkommen.
