Service was friendly and nice. We tasted different kinds of beers and had a delicious foods. Must-to-go restaurants for your Bamberg visit.

Service was super nice, but the food (duck leg) and drink (non-alcoholic lager) were unfortunately disappointing not my taste.

Music ten points service zero. Incompetent service staff, no system at the bar, you wait hours for your drink. There are discussions with individual customers about a few euros until the other guests leave completely. Guests still have to pay €0.50 to go to the Sandkerwa even though they buy their drinks there. At least the lady at the toilet gave me goulash.

Excellent culinary experience, with Bavarian and “Franconian” foods, as well as beers. We also noticed the presence of many green flies.

If there's a large group, someone doesn't want to eat? No problem, we can spontaneously offer you the tables back there. The Schreiners showed the Alt-Ringlein how good customer service works. Gladly again.

Just great! After our civil wedding we spontaneously went into the city. We were about 25 people. We asked if they still had room for so many people - we didn't even have to wait 5 minutes and we had the courtyard to ourselves! It was really very nice! The food was delicious, the service was great and everyone was super nice and friendly. It was so nice that we spent the whole afternoon there! Many thanks to the entire team!

Went for dinner with a friend having spent the day exploring Bamberg. Service was friendly and quick, with tasty dishes. Good value for money.

Cute restaurant with delicious food and delicious beers. There is also a small beer garden inside. Perfectly located below the cathedral, therefore well utilized. Unfortunately, like almost everywhere, too few staff.

I had a very tasty meal and drink there. It was a very nice atmosphere.

There were 4 of us eating here. Everyone was very happy with their dish and the service was also very good. The prices for the individual dishes were very reasonable.

We visited on Saturday evening. There are a lot of people. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. The schnitzel was a bit dry. You can eat Nuremberg sausages with cabbage and bread👌.

This review refers to my visit to the restaurant on the evening of August 2nd, 2024 The finest experience gastronomy awaits guests here. The red-haired waitress was so drunk that the fact that even one thing reached the right table safely could be considered a modern wonder of the world. Guests who left a bad Google review due to the incident were loudly confronted by the staff. What may seem entertaining to an outsider is ultimately a gastronomic disgrace.

Nice location, good food and good beer. Unfortunately the waitress was drunk. Food fell down. Sauce was spilled down my shirt. Unfortunately no recommendation.

In fact, the food was very tasty and everything at our table went very quickly and no one was unfriendly. However, it was extremely noticeable that the waiters were all very drunk. Not just the lady but also some of the male colleagues. Food fell off the plate and other guests waited almost an hour for their food. After the table next to us wrote a review, one of the waiters came to their table and wanted to confront them while they were still eating. The environment was very, very unpleasant for us and that's why we won't be coming back!

The food was very tasty, but the service staff, especially the colleague, seemed extremely drunk. Gravy was spilled on guests and complaining didn't change the situation. We left as quickly as possible because it was just unpleasant. And the inner courtyard isn't as beautiful as advertised.

Ambiance & food very good, service very bad and seemed drunk, owner unfriendly. Conditions staggered through the aisles and spilled food. When a neighboring table wrote a negative review of this spectacle during their stay, the owner came over and loudly complained to them and tried to embarrass the author in front of the guests.

The two of us wanted to have dinner at Schreiners. Unfortunately, everything at the entrance to the beer garden was already full, so we were offered a place in the inner courtyard. We only sat down for a minute and were surprised by the most unpleasant noises from the inn's toilet. The food there is definitely delicious and the service was also very nice, but we still decided to leave the inn as quickly as possible; I feel like I don't want to eat in the toilet either.

We were here in the restaurant on a Saturday evening and ate Schäufele and drank beer. We slept somewhere else, so I can't say anything about the rooms. The service in the restaurant was great, beer and food came quickly and the Schäufele was absolutely tender and delicious. Lovely again!

Only applies to the restaurant. Tables and benches are very crowded and even the service has difficulty getting through. Ambience normal, prices normal, food good, service good.

Very tasty food - a large selection of typical Franconian dishes, plus a small and fine vegetarian selection. Super nice service staff and a really nice outdoor area (we were only in the restaurant, not in the hotel)

We were in Bamberg for a weekend. On the first day we treated ourselves to beer and apple strudel in the restaurant and that was great. The service was also super friendly, made jokes... we felt completely at home... in the evening we ate in a neighbor's restaurant and were disappointed and annoyed. The next day we had dinner with you again and all I can say was TOP 👍 the waiter from the day before recognized us straight away and made jokes, which we found very amusing. So again a big thank you to the kitchen and the waiters 👍 keep it up

Friendly waiters, delicious food and fine wine in the middle of Bamberg's old town. Gladly again!

We were there in the evening of June 15, 2024. First we were warmly welcomed and were able to get a table. We got drinks. Afterwards, two people from our group came over and ordered something. After that, the waitress stopped coming to our table and was difficult to find. When questions were asked, they were put off. After another 45 minutes we left after looking for the waitress to pay. We were in this location in 2020 and it was great. It has now been modernized, everything looks very chic, but the staff and the way they deal with customers is in need of improvement

We ate there with nine people late in the afternoon on Wednesday. Unfortunately it was the worst meal that was served in a week. All portions were served warm, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. The thick slices of sauerbraten were bland and could have been used as an ice hockey puck. The broth for the liver dumplings was also very special. After our warning there was a round of herbal schnapps as compensation, but the overall impression was still gone. The ambience in the courtyard was system-free and to top it off, the toilet windows are right next to the tables, so we were able to fully enjoy the usual noises. Overall not recommended!

We were only there to eat and sat outside. The pickled meat was plentiful with lots of tasty sauce. Sauerkraut and dumplings were also good. The Schäufele was also excellent. I've had larger ones, but they were also significantly more expensive. The portion with savoy cabbage and dumplings was large enough. Price/performance ratio absolutely okay. Great selection of beers.

This beautiful inn is located in the middle of the old town. Many Franconian Schmeggerwöhlerchens and delicious types of beer can be tasted here. Particularly warm hospitality.

In the old town not far from the cathedral, offers good space for larger groups, but reservations are important. The food offered was home-style, Franconian...we found everything delicious.

Absolutely tailored to consumption throughput. One main course, one beer, one schnapps per person: one bill. From sitting down to receiving the bill <30 minutes. Duck leg a little dry.

I can't rate an overnight stay in the hotel because we only went to the Scheiners for dinner. It was worth going there. The Franconian cuisine was very good. I had the sauerbraten and then the apple strudel. Both were really good. The service was perfect (friendly and fast). We felt very well looked after as guests.

We had dinner in the beer garden on Saturday evening without a reservation. Very tasty Schäufele, cooked to perfection. Dumpling was a convenience product, but okay. The service - even though the restaurant area was full - was attentive, friendly and quick. Very drinkable red beer, decent value for money. Any time!

Hello everyone Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms, we weren't in the hotel. But we went to the Scheiners every day and evening to eat and drink. Just awesome. Huge THANKS to Lukas and Yassin. Both of them are excellent service. Such a great team. The food was very good, the beer was definitely good. Had a lot of fun during the week. Greetings to the people of Oldenburg and Allgäu.

Hello everyone, first of all I can't rate the room because I didn't stay there. Food was very tasty and sufficient and the service staff (Lukas and Yassin) were very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend going there to eat.

We come here to eat every now and then and I have to say the Schäuferla is amazing, the sauce was really good and the dumplings are homemade here and not from the industry, my respect

We only ate in the restaurant. We chose the lunch menu offered twice: grilled pork knuckle with sauerkraut and dumpling. For us an absolutely good price/performance ratio. One of the grilled knuckles had a crust that was a bit hard and had been grilled for too long. But the food overall and the draft beer were very tasty, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. The constantly playing music didn't have to be there.

I can't judge the hotel. But the restaurant is so far the best in Bamberg. The Scheiners red beer is fantastic and the cuisine is highly recommended.

The food was very good, the service was very pleasant, all the food was warm at the table despite the very large group. The atmosphere among the staff was very good. We behaved very well.

According to my colleagues, the beer wasn't that good, but at least the CocaCola was really tasty^^. Instead of rosemary potatoes there were fries and the chicken breast wasn't really tender. My colleagues didn't really like the Schäuferla either, the dumpling wasn't homemade and didn't taste particularly good either. Unfortunately no recommendation

We had dinner in the restaurant. The service was acceptable and the food and drinks were delivered quickly. Unfortunately, no one was really happy with the taste. Personally, I had the pork knuckle with dumplings and was not satisfied. The potato dumpling had hardly any taste and the knuckle was relatively dry... the lager beer wasn't to my liking either, even though I've tried Franconian cuisine several times. I would refrain from visiting the restaurant again.

Unfortunately, I received a beer knuckle that felt like it had already been in the oven for 10 hours. Dried out, rock hard and tasted like a deep fryer. Staff pointed this out but no reaction other than to pass it on to the kitchen. I don't believe it. The other people's food was okay but nothing more.

Went here spontaneously because we were impressed by the daily menu and the food from outside. And we were really excited. The food was super tasty and everything else was perfect. Big compliments to the kitchen, it's been a long time since I've eaten such good "Frangian crusted brat". We'll be back :)

Nice restaurant, rustic furnishings and friendly service. The food and the draft beer are extremely tasty, but the portions were too small and I was just as hungry after eating as before.

You can come here to drink Rauchbier. It's quite spacious inside, so you won't be able to find a seat. I ordered Jägerschnitzel and Schwein's Schaxe, and they were all good, especially the Schwein's Schaxe. It's cooked hard on the outside, but the inside is so moist that it easily separates from the bone when you touch it. The staff wasn't very friendly, but I had no complaints whatsoever.
