Satoru in Nürnberg

A beautiful restaurant, I felt very comfortable, with a large selection of sushi and Asian dishes. As soon as you greet us from the kitchen you can tell the care with which every dish is prepared. I'm happy to accept the slightly higher price compared to similar restaurants because you get real value for it. From the service, the ambience to the food, everything is perfect. My conclusion is that if you are willing to spend a little more money, you will definitely not regret it. I would like to come back.

We were served quickly, food was very good, I can't say anything negative.

So I can't recommend this restaurant. We ordered very late and were supposed to pick up our food at 8:50pm. At home I discovered that the sushi was packaged together with the hot dish. This is a real no go! The fried noodles were mushy and not tasty. Even the Asian ones at the folk festival were better. All in all, we couldn't eat the food with any appetite and the next day or a few hours later there were greetings from the gastrointestinal region. Conclusion: Actually not worth a star.

I have already tried many sushi restaurants in Nuremberg and the surrounding area and this is by far the best sushi. Large portions. High quality ingredients. Served aesthetically. I'm a regular customer and come here regularly. 5*

I went to Satoru for the first time yesterday with a friend on the recommendation of others. We enjoyed it incredibly much. The service was very friendly and quick. We both tried something new with sushi and it was worth it. It tasted very fresh and delicious. The dessert was also great. We'll definitely be back 😋

Very good restaurant with impressive quality and service. On a warm summer evening we were allowed to sit outside after opening hours and enjoy the evening. Everyone was always polite and attentive. There is only a mini star deduction for the ambience because we were sitting right on the main street. If that bothers you, you also have the option of looking for a place on the other side. In addition, the parking situation is quite difficult - but the bus stop is not far. All in all, definitely worth a visit (or several)!

I am positively surprised. The staff was very nice and polite, not intrusive. The food was delicious and fresh. The ambience is simple, everything is clean. I can only recommend.

BOMBASTIC! The store was quite busy, but that didn't affect the fast and very friendly service. We were served quickly, the kitchen was busy that day and so it took a little longer. But it was still totally within limits. Very nice romantic atmosphere. Very tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. There are enough parking spaces on the side streets. Credit card payments are accepted, but only from 30€ (is completely fine) The food was bombastically good. Prices very good. The Ginza in Nuremberg can pack in. This will be our new sushi dream ♥️ PS: the menu with pictures of the sushi is fantastic! Especially for beginners who have little or no experience.

One star from me because I waited for service shortly before the end and no one was in sight. When I intercepted someone at 2:28 p.m. and wanted to order, they said "sorry, the kitchen is already closed" But the food there is ok.

We served a super delicious dinner. The atmosphere is pleasant, the waiters are very respectful. The restaurant is very clean.

There were four of us there and each of us was thrilled... the 🍣 sushi was simply awesome, I've never had such good sushi before...also beautifully prepared on the plate that the eye eats, top if it gives 10 stars would immediately...the staff was also very friendly and super nice and helpful...we will definitely come back and keep it up regularly. Good Japanese restaurant with a nice selection of various dishes. The food itself was very good and there was little reason to complain. Only the dessert wasn't convincing and I wouldn't order it a second time. The service is attentive but the timing urgently needs to be worked on. The starter hadn't been eaten yet and the main course arrived. Clearing up was also quicker than you could eat. There is definitely room for improvement here. However, that is complaining at a high level. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Good food, terrible service. When you go out to eat as a couple, you want to get your food at the same time. Although we ordered the same thing, the second dish only arrived 20 minutes later after a complaint. You lose your food. Completely stupid, rude service doesn't apologize, but claims that you only ordered food once. Incredible.

Located outside the center but easily accessible and of excellent quality. Really helpful and friendly staff. I tried both the Japanese and the more Asian parts. The sushi rice may not be top notch but the fish is plentiful and good. I found the noodle dishes to be really plentiful and will fill you up. Fast service and a dinner at least around 30 euros each but I wanted to try more things than necessary.

We were at Satoru for the first time today and will definitely be back! A very friendly welcome, free choice of table, a lavish menu - the selection is clear and very clearly presented. Then came a small bowl of sprout salad and the question about my choice of drink. When we were ready to order, there were very helpful tips about the food itself. The food came quickly, was decoratively presented and tasted delicious and fresh (vegetables) and there were also generous portions. The service is very attentive and super friendly. As I said: we would love to come back to try even more delicacies! Thank you!

Had a delicious lunch here with my colleagues for Christmas dinner on the last working day of the year. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Sushi was very tasty. Some of the seaweed was a bit tough but tolerable.

It’s basically a Vietnamese restaurant catering “Japanese” food. 100% of staff is Vietnamese, just like the owners. Then, like almost all Vietnamese restaurants I know in Germany, they don’t want people to pay with a credit card and impose ridiculously high credit card usage limits (40 euros!!!), in order to avoid paying as much VAT as possible and to escape the whole tax system. This is definitely a negative aspect to me and not acceptable anymore in 2024. Sorry, but I don’t want to carry cash on me and shouldn’t be forced to order more in order to just be able to pay. If you want to escape the tax system, then don’t pretend you accept credit cards with the credit card issuer or offer a discount to your customers who pay with cash.

That being said, the food was decent, portions were huge, although pretty much with a majority of « ready made » semi-industrial ingredients (not made on site, e.g. fried food and appetizers). The sushi plate was ok, but the shrimp for instance was dried and hard to chew and the eggplant wasn’t as mouth melting as it should have normally been (in a traditional Japanese fashion). The salmon was way too greasy and too soft, not very good. Lots of sushi covered with sweet sauces to fit the local palates.

I ordered a matcha ice cream but they gave me the vanilla one and didn’t even bother to say sorry. Not a serious offense to me, but this would never have happened in an authentic Japanese restaurant with Japanese staff.

Very tasty food and large portions. I'm not a fan of sushi and I think the selection outside of sushi is really good. The service was super nice. We had to wait a little longer to pay, which was again because there were a lot of guests there at the end. But that's a good sign again. Unfortunately, card payments are only possible from 30 euros.

Incredibly good sushi! We ordered online for pickup in the morning and assumed that the food would be prepared before the big rush in the evening. But by no means: when I'm 20 minutes early to pick up, they haven't even started yet. Everything was freshly prepared, even with a lot of effort since I was early. The service was super friendly and most importantly: the sushi was really perfect! I've been eating a lot of sushi for over 20 years, and Satoru's is definitely one of the best things I've ever eaten! And the prices are absolutely fair.

If you love sushi, this is the place for you. So much choice of sushi dishes. Above all, it's great that there are pictures of the dishes in the menu. You get hungry quickly. The staff was also very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. And if you want something to drink, you can take the bus afterwards. The stop is just around the corner.

Sehr gutes Essen. Preis-Leistung passt. Kartenleser war defekt (oder stromlos), so dass wir bar bezahlen mussten. Zum Glück hatten wir Bargeld dabei.

Wir haben heute zum wiederholten Mal im Satoru gegessen und es war wie immer alles sehr lecker. Insbesondere das Sushi finde ich außerordentlich gut. Da ich häufig Sushi esse, kann ich für mich behaupten, dass es im Satoru mit das beste der Stadt gibt. Ich kann natürlich nicht für alle Menschen sprechen. Aber mir und meiner Familie schmeckt es hier wirklich sehr gut. Erwähnen möchte ich auch den unglaublich freundlichen Service. Weiter so!!! :)

Keine angesagte Lage. Keine beeindruckende Architektur. Kein Hipster-Hotspot. Was hier zählt sind Qualität und Service. Selten so gutes Sushi gegessen. Auch die verschiedenen Vorspeisen sind der Hammer. Das Restaurant kann locker mit den "großen Namen" mithalten. Wir werden sicher wieder zum Essen hierher kommen. TOP!
