Sasso Restaurant & Bar in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Nettes Ambiente, leider ohne authentische italienische Küche. Leider stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Weder Restaurant oder Küche sind Italienisch. Die Pizza hat eher etwas vom orientalischen Imbiss und war sehr fettig, ohne guten Teig. Hier könnte man mit einem neuen Rezept zumindest versuchen davon wegzukommen den Stempel "italienisch" falsch zu nutzen. Preise sind eher auf einem höheren Niveau für das was man bekommt. Und das was man bekommt ist leider nur so lala.

Ein angenehmes Restaurant wo mir das Essen gut geschmeckt hat. Wenn ich mal wieder in Oldenburg bin, komme ich gerne wieder.

Es stimmt wirklich alles. Ausgesprochen herzlich und aufmerksam. Vorzügliches Essen und tolles Ambiente. Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Ercan ist ein Gastgeber mit Leib und Seele und hat ein tolles Team.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Dieses Lokal ist etwas gehobener in der Klasse. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl hier. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Saisonbedingt habe ich mir das Spargel-Menü vegetarisch bestellt und war sehr zufrieden. Ohne aufdringlich zu sein, wurde regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob noch ein Wunsch bestehe, Getränke oder Dessert. Danke Reservierung hatten wir einen guten und ruhigeren Platz im Nebenraum, sonst wäre es für uns evtl. Auch etwas zu laut geworden. Wenn das Restaurant voll ist, ist logischerweise auch die Lautstärke höher und die Unterhaltung schwerer. Das klappte auch gut bei uns. Ideal für Gäste mit Hörgeräten. Insgesamt 5 Sterne von 5 von mir.

Sehr modern und hübsch eingerichtet, trotzdem gemütlich, tolles Essen, vor allem das „spezielle“ Vitello Tonnato mit Thunfischtartar fand ich super. Aber auch das Pizzabrot war sehr lecker und das Risotto hat mich ebenfalls überzeugt. Alles über 4,5 - daher 5 Punkte

Ein fantastischen Essen wurde uns serviert. Die hervorragende Qualität lässt sich schmecken.

Das Sasso ist ein italienisches Restaurant. Der Gastraum ist sehr vollgestellt mit Tischen und Stühlen, es ist sehr eng. Die Bedienung ist höflich und zügig unterwegs. Das Essen war tadellos und der Preis zwar schon im oberen Bereich aber immernoch OK.

Wir waren immer begeistert hier essen zu gehen, aber unser Erlebnis am 14.3 trübt das leider. Der Service war unterirdisch schlecht und unaufmerksam, und das, obwohl nicht alle Tische belegt waren. Bedient wurde wir nur, wenn wir jemanden zu uns gerufen haben, ansonsten wurden wir, sowie unser Nachbartisch ignoriert. Als wir dies beim etwas älteren Kellner ansprachen, verdrehte er die Augen und sagte "Ja wir laufen hier ja die ganze Zeit rum". Nein! Das ist nicht der Anspruch, den ich habe, wenn ich in einem vergleichsweise teuren Restaurant esse, dass ich die Kellner um Service anbetteln muss. Der Kellner bei dem wir dann letztendlich bezahlt haben, ja der könnte mit seiner flappsigen und kumpelhaften Art auch in einer Dönerbude arbeiten, sehr unprofessionell. Leider unser letzter Besuch und einige der letzten Rezensionen scheinen dem Recht zu geben.

Ganz ehrlich? Ich bin echt enttäuscht. Wir waren neulich dort und die Erfahrung war leider weit weg von dem, was man für den Preis erwarten darf. Der Service Das war leider der absolute Tiefpunkt. Man hatte das Gefühl, man stört das Personal eigentlich nur bei der Arbeit. Da kam kein Lächeln, keine Aufmerksamkeit und man musste ewig warten, bis überhaupt mal jemand an den Tisch kam. Es wirkte alles total lieblos und lustlos. Die Reaktion auf Kritik Als wir dann höflich angemerkt haben, dass das so nicht passt, wurde es erst richtig unangenehm. Der Chef hat das Ganze komplett abgeblockt. Anstatt kurz Größe zu zeigen oder sich zu entschuldigen, wurde eher defensiv reagiert. Das geht für mich gar nicht, besonders wenn man eine leitende Rolle hat. Essen und Preis Das Essen an sich war okay, also man konnte es essen, aber es war jetzt auch kein Highlight, das den Abend gerettet hätte. Wenn man dann am Ende die Rechnung sieht, schüttelt man nur den Kopf. Das Verhältnis zwischen dem, was man bezahlt, und dem, was man an Leistung (vor allem menschlich) bekommt, ist unterirdisch. Fazit: Zwei Sterne gibt es nur, weil das Essen genießbar war. Den Rest kann man sich schenken.

Top einer der besten oder sogar das beste Restaurant in Oldenburg

Das Essen und Ambiente sind gut aber preislich im hohen Bereich. Der Service geht gar nicht. Wir haben uns mit unseren Kindern sehr unwohl gefühlt, wurden an einem Tisch gesetzt an dem es nicht möglich war einen Kinderstuhl ran zustellen, wurden von der Serviceleitung sehr herablassend bedient und man hatte das Gefühl, das jede Frage von uns zu viel war. Familien mit Kindern würde ich dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Die Pasta war absolut köstlich. Einzig der Burrata-Mango-Salat hat mir nicht so gut gefallen, da die Mango in Sirup eingelegt war… aber insgesamt war alles sehr lecker. Der Service war schnell und das Lokal sehr schön.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen. Der Besitzer ist selbst Kellner und sehr arrogant, ja sogar unhöflich. Er brüllt die Gäste an. Gehen Sie bloß nicht dorthin!

Während des Treffens mit meinen 8 Kollegen war die Unterhaltung sehr schwierig auf Grund des Lärmpegels der anderen Gäste. Mehr Lärmschutz wäre sinnvoll auch und besonders für die Mitarbeiter, die auf Grund der Lärmbelastung der Gäste immer lauter reden mussten als üblich.

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig hierher und fühlen uns jedes Mal rundum wohl. Das Essen ist super lecker. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der exzellente Service. Für uns jedes Mal ein Genuss, und eines der besten Restaurants in Oldenburg:)

Habe eine Pizza zum Abholen bestellt. Der Service war leider sehr eingebildet und hat mich als jungen Gast sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Ich hatte das Gefühl das junge Menschen dort nicht willkommen sind, sondern nur Leute die eine Krawatte tragen und erfolgreich sind. Für eine kleine Pizza Salami haben sie mir 13€ berechnet (Abholung). Diese war zu meiner Überraschung dann auch noch viel zu Ölig, durfte erstmal abgetupft werden, die hat geschwommen! Habe sie nicht ganz aufgegessen, war echt nicht lecker, schade für den Preis.

Wir hatten vorab angerufen, um einen Tisch zu reservieren, und uns wurde gesagt, dass wir einfach zur gewünschten Zeit vorbeikommen können. Vor Ort wurden wir freundlich empfangen, allerdings mit dem Hinweis, dass wir uns etwas beeilen müssten, was die Atmosphäre ein wenig unruhig gemacht hat. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung, preislich jedoch eher im oberen Bereich. Die Cola schmeckte leider etwas schal und wurde ohne Eis oder Zitrone serviert. Auch das Tiramisu wirkte nicht hausgemacht. Insgesamt war der Besuch okay, allerdings hätten wir uns bei den Preisen eine etwas höhere Qualität gewünscht.

Ein schönes Restaurant, das jedoch leider versucht mehr zu sein als es wirklich ist. Das Ambiente ist schön, auch wenn es doch sehr laut im Restaurant ist, und der Service in Ordnung. Mir persönlich haben meine Kürbis-Ravioli geschmeckt, umgehauen haben sie mich aber auch nicht. Meine Begleitung hat es gar nicht gefallen und hat sich dazu noch eine Lebensmittelvergiftung abgeholt…

Wir haben für den zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag einen Tisch für drei Personen reserviert. Wir haben eine Stunde gewartet, bis vier Personen die nach uns gekommen sind vor uns einen Tisch bekommen haben. Da haben wir spontan im Restaurant Athen Oldenburg angerufen und super viel Glück gehabt und noch einen Tisch bekommen. Daraufhin haben wir das Sasso verlassen. Schade das Umsatz vor Qualität steht. Das Lokal war absolut überresetviert und es waren locker 10-15 Personen dauerhaft am warten, trotz Reservierung. Das Personal wirkte absolut überfordert. Zu Weihnachten absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!!

Das Essen war okay und die Karte hört sich gut an, nur das, was man letztendlich bekommt, ist geschmacklich leider nicht gut. Der Service ist schlecht; es kommt niemand an den Tisch. Wir hatten 30 Minuten lang keine Getränke, weil keiner kam. Wir mussten den Kellner immer wieder rufen, wenn wir noch etwas bestellen wollten. Am Ende stand zu allem Überfluss irrtümlicherweise noch eine Flasche Wein für 45 € auf unserer Rechnung."

Always worth a visit. Food and service are fantastic.

The food was good, but a lot of the vegetarian antipasti was store-bought and not homemade (at €15.50, you'd expect better). We didn't get ciabatta bread, but we don't eat much bread anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. The duck leg was nice and tender, not dry at all. The chorizo ​​risotto was also good. The cheesecake was tasty but quite small and therefore overpriced. At the end, I wanted a glass of wine, but it never arrived... although it was on the bill. That was then canceled. All in all, we expected more. There's definitely room for improvement.

The menus were placed on the table almost without a word. After the server took our order, they were practically snatched out of our hands. At the next table sat three rather drunk men who were talking loudly in quite vulgar language. It was almost embarrassing. They seemed to be regulars, as the server frequently came by to drink sparkling wine. The pizza was perfectly ordinary. Nothing to write home about. That was our first and last visit.

I had reserved a table and initially got a table in the annex, which isn't that great and is a bit chilly. We were able to change tables, which we thought was great. The service seems rushed throughout – the place is very busy. The waiters – there were only men on duty – are loud. It's a bit like a festival tent. The food came little by little. Initially, the service was quite attentive. But when the plates were cleared, the service suddenly dropped. We had trouble ordering another drink…it was 10 p.m. at that price. I expect more hospitality. I want to be looked after.

A beautiful restaurant with stylish decor. The menu is very classic for an upscale Italian restaurant: pizza, pasta, meat, and fish dishes. My meal was uninnovative and not particularly sophisticated. I had a chicken breast stuffed with spinach and Gorgonzola on a bed of mashed potatoes with vegetables. The service wasn't particularly attentive. Overall, I've had better and more affordable experiences at other Italian restaurants in Oldenburg.

I had asked for a Quadro Stagioni... which wasn't offered and is no problem at any other Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, it wasn't available here...

You would expect more, especially given the prices. To top it off, on the last visit there was severe food poisoning in two people who ate the same dish... I would say you can get a lot better food for the money.

Unfortunately, the bread wasn't properly toasted, so it was hardly possible to eat the extremely well-filled bread; it didn't taste good either with a fork or by hand. Then came the main courses. My filled dumplings were visually beautifully presented. My companion's pizza too. The pizza sauce only tasted like olive oil and the tomato flavor was completely overshadowed by it. Unfortunately, the edges of the pasta dough pockets were not through and you had the feeling of chewing on raw pasta, as if you had cardboard in your mouth. The filling and the cream sauce tasted very good. My comment about the pasta dumplings was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Which was a shame. Sorry, anyone who offers such high-priced food should also pay attention to the high culinary level and the appropriate service and quality of the food, which doesn't fit at all when you consider that we paid 100 euros. And I am a chef myself with 30 years of professional experience. Sasso has done it for us.

Nice atmosphere, delicious food - never been disappointed

We went there because of the numerous good reviews. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is quick and friendly. Unfortunately, it lacks a bit of warmth... Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the food because it tasted quite bland. You can add more seasoning, but that should actually be the exception and not the rule, because almost everyone adds more seasoning. A little courage in the kitchen can't hurt ;) We'll just try it one more time and hope that the Sasso simply had a not so good day.

We spontaneously reserved a table for 3 people, the service was very friendly and attentive. The menu read: Angus rump steak with fat crust · homemade herb butter · market-fresh vegetables · French fries, I stated when ordering that I didn't want any fries, but I was offered a small salad. I got the rump steak without herb butter, without market fish vegetables with fries and salad. The quality of the meat was OK, but unfortunately it was completely covered in tendons, so I couldn't eat about 1/3 of the steak. When I asked if everything was OK, I told the service that I was missing the market-fresh vegetables and that I had the Pomeranian on my plate, whereupon I or we were offered a schnapps on the house. Personally, I think it's a shame for a meal that costs €31.50. My wife was at Sasso a few weeks ago and found the food and service very good. Maybe the staff and kitchen were having a bad day, but I would have expected a little more accommodation. I will definitely visit Sasso again and hope for delicious food and good service.

Disappointing! The first and last time I ate there on New Year's Eve! It was so cold that you just sat cramped, so dark that you couldn't read the map without a cell phone flashlight, you sat so close that private conversation was impossible, the salmon was overcooked, I would have expected good olive oil at least with the bread , there was indefinable smearable stuff and the service wasn't particularly attentive, so the dessert was sorted out. We were looking forward to a cozy New Year's Eve and reserved a table weeks ago. Our table was in the “well ventilated” annex. Radiant heater directly above the head, cold back, cold legs. We therefore skipped the starter and dessert. Just the main dish quickly (it was ok) and quickly home. Of course there are no tips for such service. This wasn't the first, but the last visit to Sasso.

We have been to Sasso several times this year. There are several areas for dining, so groups can sit separately. There is a fixed menu as well as daily or weekly menus. Particularly current meat and fish dishes can be found here. The fixed menu also includes many exclusive and sophisticated pizza and pasta variations. The service is quick and courteous. The furnishings of the guest rooms and the wet areas are upscale. For example, there are real towels at the sinks. You won't be happy here if you're a vegan. There is no vegan dish listed on the menu, but upon request a risotto and salad could be offered. But it couldn't keep up with the standard of the other dishes.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet und auch sehr freundlich, jedoch ließ mein Essen echt zu wünschen übrig. Das Hähnchen und die Kartoffeln waren nicht durchgekocht und schmeckten komisch. Das Restaurant ist dafür aber sehr schön, wenn auch die Tische etwas nah aneinander stehen😬.

The ambience is also very appealing, you just feel comfortable here. I always like to come back and look forward to trying new dishes. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Oldenburg and a clear recommendation!

We were invited on the occasion of a birthday. We really liked the place, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The quality of the food was very well received by all of us and we recommend it.

We ate here again after several years and we really enjoyed it. The treatment by the service was friendly, quick and always with a smile and the food was tasty and appropriate to the current prices. The facility invites you to linger and it will definitely not be our last visit there.
