Always worth a visit. We drove there spontaneously and got a table without a reservation. Very friendly service and the plates were beautifully presented – a feast for the eyes. It was so much food it was almost impossible to finish, but they did pack it up for us. Thank you for that! ☺️

I've been going there about four times a week for years. Sometimes I eat alone in the shop, sometimes with friends/family, but I also enjoy taking food out and eating at home. Vegetarian friends have a harder time, but they'll probably find something too.

We were there for the first time on September 27th with eight people for a family reunion, and it was a perfect decision. Everyone got their food almost at the same time. The portions were so large that we almost couldn't finish them. The food was delicious. There's something for every taste. We'll definitely be back next year.

We booked lunch for several people two hours in advance, communicated our dietary preferences, and barely had our seats when we were able to enjoy a delicious meal.

Today was the day for our sibling reunion, and we decided to go to Castello. The food was simply amazing, and the service was very friendly! Our next reunion will definitely be held here again. Best wishes from the four of us 😀

My parents invite me to dinner here every year because I don't want any presents, and they're thrilled. I never eat out, but my parents say it's comparatively very affordable without sacrificing quality, so I'll give it 5 stars. It was really delicious. P.S.: We always have my parents' dog with us, and he's allowed in without any problems. It would just be nice if he could have a bowl of water without asking; things like that always make my heart sing.

The food is truly delicious. The pita, however, was a bit small compared to other dishes. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is attractively decorated, even if it's rather practical. It was quite noisy at lunchtime.

Truly a little insider tip. We ended up here by mistake (actually wanted to get ice cream at another restaurant), but we don't regret it. Even the fact that we arrived 30 minutes before opening time due to this mix-up wasn't a problem at all. We can only give the spaghetti carbonara and the 50 cm family pizza five stars 👍🏼 Update after almost 3 years: The food still tastes just as wonderful as it did on our last visit! This time we had different dishes: a medium rump steak with fries (€24) and a gyro casserole (€14.50). The steak was perfect, both the exterior browning and the doneness were exactly what we wanted. What should be a given is unfortunately often not so well implemented elsewhere. But here we were once again completely satisfied! The same enthusiasm extended to the gyro casserole. I'm not usually the type of person who likes to order casseroles in restaurants; I would still do it again here. The casserole really blew me away (not really)! The gyro was very well seasoned, and the decision to include the accompanying tomato rice in the casserole was also a very good one! The service was just as friendly as last time; you can't complain here. Another very important thing to mention is that the food arrives at the table with exceptional speed. The salad appetizer arrived in less than 5 minutes, and the main course arrived another 10 minutes later. Keep it up! Truly excellent! All in all, I can still highly recommend a visit if you're looking for good Italian food at a reasonable price in Oldenburg! (Please forgive me for having already eaten the salad by the time these new pictures were taken.)

We had a very nice dinner here today: The small Melanzane pizza was quite large and delicious. The tortellini, as we requested, were baked with cheese, a generous portion. They also tasted good. The service was excellent, very attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. As a final drink, they offered a free non-alcoholic alternative to ouzo or Marsala. We'd love to come back, thank you very much! 🙏🏼

If you're hungry and there's nothing else to eat, you can eat there. A complete culinary disaster. And finally, the waitress emptied the salad bowl, spilling a few tomatoes all over my pants. I had to ask for some new tomatoes. Everyone will say: that was just an arrogant Frankfurter. But even in the city of Oldenburg, there are certainly people who value good food and don't just look at the price, although we paid €40 for two main courses and drinks.

Very friendly, unobtrusive service. In addition to the large menu, there was an extensive daily menu from which we had two different meals for 11.50 and 12 euros (including a cold drink): penne with spinach, gyros in metaxa sauce with French fries. Delicious food with an idea of ​​too much salt.

Children are allowed to do anything here! Tonight was very bizarre. 3 children ran through the hallways, played catch and screamed constantly. They were completely left to their own devices. When I pointed this out to my father, the waiter/owner took his father's side and expelled me from the store. Never again! Unfortunately, this behavior by the owner shows what this country has become. Previously unthinkable. It's time to act.

We were taken to our RESERVED spot to start. After we had ordered food and had our drinks and starters, we were asked to change our place because a group had just arrived. In my opinion, I find this outrageous since we had reserved the place. After we were at our new place the food came. But since the waiter wrote down the order incorrectly, I only got my food when everyone had already gotten their food and was almost finished eating. No apology was even given for this extremely long waiting time (not in words and not even with a free drink, for example). Unbelievable for a restaurant, because the point of a restaurant is to eat TOGETHER with its members. In addition, the noodles that were ordered were only lukewarm to cold. The food was delicious but the service was very poor. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Mass processing before the Lord. Were there at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. The drinks we ordered were served at 5:35 p.m., and 10 minutes later the spaghetti was steaming on the table in front of us. 6:05 p.m. a little nightcap on the house, bill ready. We were through at 6:10 p.m. and made room for the next table. Unfortunately, the dining room was still quite cool at 5:30 p.m. Aside from the mundane service, the food subjectively didn't really taste like it was home-cooked. Conclusion: It wasn't really good in terms of ambience or food.

We had lunch with 5 people. The food was ok, but mine was only brought after the others had finished. No apologies, no thanks or please, extremely cheeky behavior and two accusations from the waiter - he wasn't a robot and I never made mistakes - unbelievable!!!! Nach einer telefonischen Reservierung haben wir ein gutes und preiswertes Abendessen genossen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Stimmung in dem Restaurant war angenehm, nicht zu voll und auch nicht zu leer. Das Essen ist lecker und macht satt, und die Aufläufe sind so gut wie die von Mama.

We recently went there for dinner with the staff (8 people). Reservation went wrong, but that could also have been my fault. The employee at the reception (presumably the boss) asked after a less friendly hello who had taken the reservation. He wanted to know if it was a woman. I couldn't answer this anymore. When asked if he still had a table for us, he turned around without comment and already two reserved tables together. We then took a seat here. The service staff was friendly and quick to take the order. The food came at the same time after about 25 minutes. Food was super tasty. Atmosphere was less nice. Extremely bright and loud. All in all, we still had a nice evening with delicious drinks and good food at reasonable prices.
