Casa Vecchia in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Simply unnecessary. The food is at snack level and sometimes doesn't correspond to the description on the menu. A friend who I shamefully brought into the restaurant ordered a lamb, veal and beef ragu. He then got some noodles with parts of the chicken. Awkward. I advise against a visit.

We were again very satisfied with the food today and felt very comfortable in the restaurant. Special thanks to the service. The reserved table for eight people had to be increased to 12 people at short notice. Thank you very much for this, see you next time.

My friend and I have been here in the restaurant for a long time. The waitress remembered our last wine selection and order after 7 months! I have never experienced anything like this in Oldenburg! The other service was also very competent and attentive. The food was very good, the jus was second to none! Here too I can only say/evaluate: 2👍out of 2👍 Insider tip!😎

Super tasty and great service. There are plenty of pizza toppings. If you want to sit outside in warm weather, it's best to make a reservation because it gets busy.

We have tried the menu here several times and were particularly happy with the pizzas. Every now and then you have to wait a bit, but it's nice to sit inside and outside, so it's not that bad :)

We waited over an hour for our food. We asked several times and complained when neighboring tables were already served, even though they ordered later (the same food). This was not addressed and when the food came, it was already cold in places. It seemed like it had been kept warm for a long time. The garden was not full and there were visibly some guests (regulars?) preferred. We even had to wait longer for the bill. The tone of the employee sounded very annoyed from the start. Right at the beginning they said it's the weekend so you have time to wait... We asked when we could order because no one came. Absolutely not recommended. It's a shame the garden is beautiful but we won't be coming back.

Solid and good Italian. The interior has been redesigned, which significantly enhances the restaurant. The garden is also beautiful, where you can sit outside. That's something special right in the city.

I ate there with a friend this evening. We have been waiting for our order to be taken for a long time. But then we waited over an hour for our food; other guests who came to the replica got their food before us.

On the Apollo pizza you have to search to find chicken, and you'll find arugula as a topping.

Unsere 100% Empfehlung! Pizza del a casa und Pasta mit Lachs, sehr lecker. Der Pizzaboden so wie er sein muss, flach, leicht knusprig und er kommt wieder hoch nach dem Eindrücken. Die Creme brulee war ebenfalls perfekt. Freundlicher Service. Wie werden wiederkommen. Wir haben draußen im Garten gegessen, aber das Ambiente im Innenraum ist ebenfalls mehr als einladend.

Restaurant with a very nice ambience, balanced authentic menu and Italian flair. The food was very tasty and just like what I know from restaurants in Italy. The wine selection harmonizes with the dishes on offer. However, I also have to criticize that we had to wait almost an hour for our food and that the drink I ordered with the meal was only brought when I asked again. At least we were brought free small pizza rolls with dips to pass the time. Despite this small detail, I am looking forward to a next visit to La Casa Vecchia.

Unfortunately, no place was reserved again because we stopped in spontaneously - but a place in the garden just became free. The counter was prompt and the service was prompt. A plate of antipasti was shared beforehand, followed by a glass of martini as an aperitif. The pasta a'la Genovese was a poem and the Lugana tasted perfect with it. Definitely again soon...!

We came to Oldenburg from Hanover and were really impressed by the Italian restaurant. Great interior design, nice beer garden, delicious pasta and very nice staff. We felt very comfortable there.

The ambience is warm and inviting, with a charming mix of traditional and modern decor. The beer garden is particularly noteworthy - probably one of the most beautiful in all of Oldenburg. Here you can relax wonderfully on warm days and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding. The pasta and pizza are to die for - freshly prepared and with high quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of the menu, which offers regularly changing specialties from Italy. The meat and fish dishes are also highly recommended. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive and always tried to fulfill all wishes. You can tell that the team is passionate about what they do and attaches great importance to the satisfaction of their guests. For special occasions such as birthdays or family celebrations, La Casa Vecchia offers a perfect ambience and tailor-made menus that make every occasion special.

The old Casa Vecchia was much better, it's been a long time since I've been to Oldenburg. When clearing the table, my glass was put to the side with my fingers on the edge of the glass, and a juice bottle that wouldn't open was tried to be opened with my polo shirt In the case of a wine bottle where the cork didn't come out, the neck of the bottle was cleaned of any cork residue after removing it with my finger, disappointing overall, regular customers are courted several times, that should be enough for now.

Great atmosphere outside on beautiful summer nights. Staff very attentive and accommodating. The food gets 5 stars, good Italian cuisine. We were very satisfied and will come back!

Short and sweet! If I announce Parmigiano Reggiano, then I have to deliver. Otherwise, the guest is made aware of the fact that there is no Parmigiano in the house during the ordering process. Absolutely terrible service!!!

Hello, unfortunately I'm totally disappointed now. Apparently the staff in the kitchen is changing. When there is a lot going on, the food is not prepared to the same quality as usual. I once got the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had here. Another time, when there was a lot going on, the dish with “cream” was carelessly prepared for me. Completely untypical for the restaurant. The only thing that hadn't changed was the price! I find that impossible. That's a shame!

A great cellar restaurant with Italian flair. Great food; nice, caring service; fair prices and a fantastic house wine. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to try out the beer garden. We will be back!

Food was ok. . Since the restaurant was very full and we came unannounced, we sat a little away, next to the entrance. But it was also ok. ! - In my opinion, the service staff could be a little more attentive. It took quite a long time until we were served our food and at one point or another we had to make ourselves known - e.g. B. to get 'dressing' for the salad. Atmosphere good. Apparently a lot of Oldenburgers eat there in the evenings, after closing time.

It was a spontaneous move to eat there and it was worth it. The food was very tasty 😋 and the service was courteous. Very cozy interior and as I said, everyone was very friendly.

We were there spontaneously at lunchtime and sat in the garden. Unfortunately the service wasn't that good as we waited 25 minutes just for the drinks. But the food was really tasty. What we unfortunately noticed in the end was that visitors with dogs were advised not to sit at a table on the lawn in the garden, as the dogs would break it or dirty it. We found it rather difficult to generalize this directly and it was received rather negatively by the guests.

I had a salad with a few mushroom caps with a few lettuce leaves on it. Plus a house dressing (only tasted like mayonnaise) No taste and that for 16.50 Nothing special!!! That's not why you eat... I don't have to have it again My husband and son thought it was average and wouldn't go there again.

The two of us went there to eat pizza 🍕. Sat outside in the beautiful garden. The pizzas 🍕 were really great. The edges were also crispy and the pizzas were very well topped. Super friendly staff. Gladly again 👍

Fantastic restaurant that even caters to individual dining requests Service is very important in this restaurant! Not only were they willing to accommodate my special food requests that weren't on the menu, but they also prepared them quickly and deliciously. This shows true attention to guests' needs. Combined with the unbeatable value for money, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Star ravioli with porcini mushroom filling in a sherry sauce with strips of roast beef were ordered. Ready-made ravioli with tasteless filling were brought in a Maggi ready-made pepper sauce without any sherry note. The additionally announced dried tomato was thrown into the overabundant sauce in far too large pieces along with tasteless quarters of fresh tomato, neither of which meant any improvement in taste. This criticism of the food was acknowledged by the service staff with "I'll pass it on" without giving any feedback. Clear warning about this cuisine, it is not Italian.

Great gluten free pizza. They know their stuff really well. Always ask in advance whether the gluten-free dough is in stock. Would love to come back. Very child friendly!

The service is great The atmosphere is wonderful changing recommendations from the boss in the form of a daily dish for 29.50 and a 3-course menu for 39.90 The strozzapreti are incredibly delicious with the fresh ricotta and the spiciness of the chili oil. I can't remember the last time a pasta dish appealed to me so much. With the tuna pizza, the pepperoni are not cut but are placed whole on the pizza. It wasn't as imagined but still very tasty.

Ordered steak which was mainly fat and covered in a cold sauce to disguise it, totally inedible, if they cared about customer satisfaction they would be ashamed to present this to any customer and decided to ignore how bad the steak dish was when it was taken away.

Leckere frische Muscheln und das Dessert für 2 Personen ein Traum. Mehr geht nicht! Wir kommen gerne bei erneutem Besuch in Oldenburg vorbei. Danke an das ganze Team. Wir sind froh, das wir uns nach dem unfreundlichem Empfang und schlechter Plazierung beim Italiener um die Ecke zum Aufstehen ohne Verzehr entschieden haben. Guten Abend, normalerweise sind wir die stillen „Mitleser“, aber dieses Restaurant müssen wir bewerten. Wir (5-köpfige Familie, davon 2 kleine Kinder) sind absolut begeistert. Ambiente klasse. Service top. Unglaublich kinderfreundlich und das Essen war ein Genuss. Können wir mit 5-Sternen ganz klar weiter empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Mal :-)

Essen war okay, allerdings war das Team leider überfordert, was dazu geführt hat, dass der Besuch nicht in guter Erinnerung blieb und das Lokal nicht zu empfehlen ist. Weder die Vorspeisen, noch der Hauptgang kamen für alle zusammen. Somit konnten wir so gut wie nie zeitgleich essen. Bis der Hauptgang kam, hat es 1,5 Stunden gedauert. Leider war der Tisch dann schon neu verplant und das hat man gemerkt. Der Kellner hat den Teller bereits abgeräumt als ich noch die letzten Stücke im Mund hatte... Eine Möglichkeit seine Kind zu wickeln gibt es dort leider nicht.

Sehr schöner Garten im Sommer, auch Schattenplätze unter Bäumen. Mein Essen hat mich nicht so überzeugt, der Auberginenauflauf war ziemlich ölig und nicht besonders und dafür einfach zu teuer. Auch der Service war nicht super freundlich, eher reserviert. Die Pasta meiner Begleitung war allerdings besser.

Das Casa Veccia gibt es schon ewig in Oldenburg. Die Besitzer sind mit der Zeit gegangen und haben ihr Restaurant sehr schick modernisiert. Es gibt eine tolle Karte mit besonderen, aber auch klassischer italienischer Küche. Super Service mit tollem Kellner und sehr netten Besitzern.

Der Laden ist OK, der Service gut. Bei den hochpreisigen Speisen hinkt die Qualität den Preisen hinterher, da passt es nicht mehr ganz. Die Standardgerichte wie Rizza, Pasta passen bei Preis und Leistung, kann man gut machen. Nachtisch Tiramisu war lecker 😋. Würde ich wieder hin gehen? Hmm, es gibt in der Innenstadt bessere Italiener bei gleichem Preisniveau, daher würde ich eher dort hingehen, auch wenn es hier nicht schlecht ist.

Wir hatten Glück! In den Restaurants Oldenburgs war wieder mal ohne Reservierung kein Platz zu finden. Hier wurden gerade welche frei. Der Kellerraum ist sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und empfahl uns leckere Essen. Ich hatte Pilze auf Pasta. Das war sehr lecker. Über die hohen Preise will ich mal nicht klagen, da stimmt ja allgemein etwas nicht.

Meine Freundin und ich waren vergangenen Freitag dort. Vorsichtig gefragt, ob wir schon rein dürfen (war noch vor offizieller Öffnung). Wurden direkt reingebeten und herzlichst bedient. Essen war einfach ausgezeichnet. Wunderschöner, renoviertes Restaurant. Kommen wieder!

Normally an ok place to eat but today…. Item 65 on the Menü, Rumpsteak medium rare, impossible to eat followed by frequent visits to the John. Cannot recommend under all circumstances.

We visited this restaurant on a very, very busy Saturday evening, which may explain why the food was undercooked and the service so poor. Clearly the service team on that particular evening was far too small and inexperienced to cater for the number of diners.
