⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely recommended – we were thrilled! During our weekend trip to Oldenburg for the Christmas market, we ate at La Casa Vecchia – and what can I say? It was simply fantastic! The food was of the highest quality, incredibly delicious, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was a delight. We would especially like to commend the service: attentive, warm, and professional – truly more than deserving of five stars! We have rarely felt so welcome and well cared for. We were so impressed that we ate there again the very next evening. And one thing is already certain: If we are back in Oldenburg next year, a visit to La Casa Vecchia is definitely on our itinerary! Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience!

Excellent pizza in a great atmosphere

I was there today with a friend and I can only say it was really great. The food was amazing, the service was very good, everything was simply fantastic.

I invited a few friends to the restaurant for my birthday on Saturday the 13th. The food tasted perfect, and the service was very friendly and prompt. To finish off the meal, the restaurant served me a scoop of baked ice cream for dessert. It was a taste explosion. 😋😋😋 Thank you.

The welcome was very tense. I had reserved a table, but unfortunately, we were 10 minutes late because we simply couldn't find a parking space. I immediately wanted to apologize for the delay, but the nice lady rushed off to check on our table. After we were shown to our table, we sat for 12 minutes without any attention. We weren't served any drinks or given any menus. We were about to leave. Then a very nice gentleman brought us the menus and took our drink orders. The food was delicious. After a large group arrived, the lady offered us a booth to be a bit less noisy. That was very nice, and we gladly accepted the offer.

The staff was really great, attentive, and friendly. My pizza tasted great, and the meat dishes at the table looked fantastic. It will be my next choice.

The two of us ate here. The ambiance was fantastic, and the service was excellent and very attentive. One couple had a very particular issue, but this was also handled very professionally, and the issue was resolved in the guest's favor. The food is delicious. The bruschetta as a starter is highly recommended! And the pizza carpaccio is also worth a positive experience!

Several times, they tried to sell us more than we wanted. The highlight was a bottle of wine for €40, based on a recommendation, because the cheaper wine we chose was supposedly out of stock. I hate that kind of thing.

A great restaurant, very friendly staff, nicely generous portions, and simply deliciously prepared. Whether it's pizza, salad, pasta, or the various meat dishes, everything is really good and the portions aren't exactly small either. For dessert, the lemon sorbet with prosecco and fresh mint is a must-try 👌🏻

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant 😀! The pizzas, pasta, lamb and pork fillet dishes, and tiramisu for dessert—simply top-notch! Delicious, we've never been disappointed. And the service—also top-notch! Always very friendly, with a family-friendly atmosphere—just what you'd expect. A definite recommendation—sit in the beautiful garden under the trees in summer, and if the weather isn't great, head to the cozy restaurant.

Great ambiance outside. There were four of us, three of whom had pizza. My Parma pizza was so dry, it only tasted like pesto. The other two pizzas were also dry. When the waiter asked if we enjoyed the food and we said that the pizzas were very dry, he just replied, "Okay."

After two online reservations, we received no response, but we went anyway. Inattentive service. I've had better pizza. We walked into town to avoid dying of thirst.

If you're looking for delicious Italian cuisine, you've come to the right place! The ambience and service provides a great atmosphere. The location is easy to reach, whether by car or on foot. Whether after a visit to the State Theater or Lamberti Christmas Market, you don't have to go far to visit the great restaurant. It's 5 stars from me and we'll be happy to come back.

My girlfriend and I ate here on Saturday; it's absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant. I love coming here; the service, the food, and the atmosphere are simply perfect! You can also sit outside. I visited LA CASA VECCHIA for the first time today, and I was absolutely thrilled! I had the sea bream – perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. You can immediately tell that the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The ambiance is very cozy and stylish, and the service is attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back – a real insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine!

Unfortunately the salad was not served as described in the menu. Ordered extra with Vinagret due to intolerances. A yogurt dressing came. The pomegranate was completely missing! Salad was completely covered in balsamic vinegar, which was not on the menu. And that I didn't want either. It's a shame that as a guest you have to go into the discussion first to be able to enjoy the food straight away.

Entry from February 14, 2025: Although the restaurant was empty at the time, we were seated at a table directly opposite two heavily drunk men who were loudly banging on the table and talking at lunchtime or afternoon. During the entire time there was never a request to hold back or speak more quietly. The ambience itself was solid. The food was well prepared, but unfortunately it was not of the quality that you would expect for the prices. However, the garlic bread was really good.

Many thanks to the entire team!! Starting with the warm welcome, the really inviting and beautiful atmosphere, as well as the excellent food and the excellent service... It was an all-round very successful evening in a warm and professional atmosphere, with terrific hosts... A visit to this beautiful restaurant is highly recommended.....😉

I was there last summer and was really excited, we sat outside under the tree on a beautiful summer evening, very nice ambience and really great atmosphere and the 4-cheese pizza was the best I've ever eaten. Yesterday I was there again. Now it's winter and we sat inside. I was really very disappointed. The ambience inside is not that great and the tables are very narrow, you sit almost lap to lap with the neighboring tables. Apparently as many tables as possible were put in there, which is why the noise was even worse than in a school cafeteria and there wasn't a nice atmosphere because the neighboring tables were right next door. The great 4 cheese pizza is also no longer on the menu, which I was really looking forward to. I had another pizza, but I didn't think it was that great, definitely not worth the price. Too bad.

Known for years, entered today for the first time. Were not there during rush hour (Saturday afternoon), we were greeted very courteously and in a child-friendly manner (we were there with 2 1/2 people). Nice clean atmosphere. Small requests were implemented flexibly, we were asked about our satisfaction at an appropriate frequency and our parking ticket was carefully recovered. 😅 The food was great, Italian pizza definitely deserves its name here, as in many places today you can only get third-rate “analog pizzas” at best. Good dough, high quality toppings, nice base, served hot. If the picky little one voluntarily shovels in, everything is said. 😁 I usually always try the salami pizza first, surprisingly it wasn't even on the menu, but well, there were even gluten-free options for that. We'd love to come back. When the tickets were picked up, the guests were already lining up, which speaks for itself in the broadest sense.

After a while we went back to La Casa Vecchia. Really modern & cozy restaurant with a high-quality selection of Italian food & drinks. The service can't be beat: fast service, very friendly staff and attentive to everything. We had a very nice evening!

LA casa Vecchia is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant!!! We've been eating there for years and are always very satisfied. Whether food or service - everything is super top!!!! Everyone always has a moment for a few personal words. 5 stars are not enough. We feel like we're on vacation every time.

Exactly what I expect from a classic Italian restaurant.

The food tasted very good. The waiters were friendly, courteous and quick. We came from the Christmas market and were pleasantly surprised.

Pasta dish was good, pizzas unfortunately not at all. The ground was so hard that it was impossible to cut with a knife and lukewarm.

I "only" had a pizza Napolitana with crème brûlée for dessert, but it was really very good. Crispy base, not soggy, perfect!

The staff is super nice and the food is also delicious. There was a little miscommunication about the spiciness, but I ate it anyway. It was looked at and I got dessert on the house. We'd love to come back!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Simply unnecessary. The food is at snack level and sometimes doesn't correspond to the description on the menu. A friend who I shamefully brought into the restaurant ordered a lamb, veal and beef ragu. He then got some noodles with parts of the chicken. Awkward. I advise against a visit.

Super tasty and great service. There are plenty of pizza toppings. If you want to sit outside in warm weather, it's best to make a reservation because it gets busy.

We waited over an hour for our food. We asked several times and complained when neighboring tables were already served, even though they ordered later (the same food). This was not addressed and when the food came, it was already cold in places. It seemed like it had been kept warm for a long time. The garden was not full and there were visibly some guests (regulars?) preferred. We even had to wait longer for the bill. The tone of the employee sounded very annoyed from the start. Right at the beginning they said it's the weekend so you have time to wait... We asked when we could order because no one came. Absolutely not recommended. It's a shame the garden is beautiful but we won't be coming back.

I ate there with a friend this evening. We have been waiting for our order to be taken for a long time. But then we waited over an hour for our food; other guests who came to the replica got their food before us.

Solid and good Italian. The interior has been redesigned, which significantly enhances the restaurant. The garden is also beautiful, where you can sit outside. That's something special right in the city.

Unsere 100% Empfehlung! Pizza del a casa und Pasta mit Lachs, sehr lecker. Der Pizzaboden so wie er sein muss, flach, leicht knusprig und er kommt wieder hoch nach dem Eindrücken. Die Creme brulee war ebenfalls perfekt. Freundlicher Service. Wie werden wiederkommen. Wir haben draußen im Garten gegessen, aber das Ambiente im Innenraum ist ebenfalls mehr als einladend.

On the Apollo pizza you have to search to find chicken, and you'll find arugula as a topping.

Restaurant with a very nice ambience, balanced authentic menu and Italian flair. The food was very tasty and just like what I know from restaurants in Italy. The wine selection harmonizes with the dishes on offer. However, I also have to criticize that we had to wait almost an hour for our food and that the drink I ordered with the meal was only brought when I asked again. At least we were brought free small pizza rolls with dips to pass the time. Despite this small detail, I am looking forward to a next visit to La Casa Vecchia.

Unfortunately, no place was reserved again because we stopped in spontaneously - but a place in the garden just became free. The counter was prompt and the service was prompt. A plate of antipasti was shared beforehand, followed by a glass of martini as an aperitif. The pasta a'la Genovese was a poem and the Lugana tasted perfect with it. Definitely again soon...!

We came to Oldenburg from Hanover and were really impressed by the Italian restaurant. Great interior design, nice beer garden, delicious pasta and very nice staff. We felt very comfortable there.
