A Vietnamese restaurant a few minutes' walk from the city center. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be eating here again on my next visit to Nuremberg.

A really lovely restaurant. It's rather small and therefore sometimes a bit cramped, but that's not a problem at all. The food always arrives quickly, is fresh, looks great, and tastes delicious every time. I've been coming here regularly for about six years now and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat Vietnamese food. I've even driven around 100 kilometers several times just to eat here – and it's been worth it every single time.

I've walked past it for years, as this place never appealed to me. Today, after 20 years, I finally tried it and I'm a huge fan! The interior has a touch of nostalgia and is super authentic! The food is incredibly delicious! The best pasta I've ever eaten!!!

Solid Vietnamese restaurant. Very friendly waiter. I wanted to order double portion of duck and the waiter said between the egg roll and the red curry with duck it should be enough food and he was right. It’s has a cosy feel and I like the wooden table and chairs. I liked the nem (egg roll) better than the red curry with duck. I will be back if I am ever staying close to this area.

Great place! Service was quick and the food (vegetarian spring rolls, mango sauce with beef, mango sauce with duck) was excellent. We got lucky in getting a table without reservations, but others were turned away. I’d certainly make a reservation here next time In Nürnberg.

We went here after a long day for dinner. We immediately got a table and got served our food extremely fast. The food itself was incredible! I highly recommend trying the fried duck with the dark sauce, it was awesome. The staff was really nice and the atmosphere was so cozy and chill. This is definitely my go to restaurant when I'm in Nuremberg!

I visited a small Vietnamese restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. I tried salmon with rice and peanut soup. Both were delicious—the soup, in particular, was pleasantly spicy and creamy. The salmon was well-cooked, and the rice was perfectly cooked. Overall, I would give the food 4 out of 5 stars. I would gladly return.

The tofu clay pot is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. I love it!!! The salad and herbs are so flavorful and pair amazingly with the tofu and eggplant stew

Very delicious food. We arrived around 9 p.m. and noticed that the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. We ordered drinks at 9:40 p.m. and were asked several times if we wanted them to go. The food arrived super quickly and was very, very tasty.

We've been picking up food here for several years and have always been very satisfied. Great value for money, pick-up time was always 10-15 minutes, no matter when, and the food was fresh. The only thing that wasn't quite as good as the salad, which was very dry and boring and came in a separate plastic bag.

After a spontaneous search, we decided to eat here based on the rating. We quickly found a place. It's a bit dark in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and served immediately. The food also arrived quickly. The taste was good. Unfortunately the portions are quite large. As a tourist you can't take anything with you... The toilets were also very dark, which made me feel uncomfortable. But the price performance suited me!

Wir waren spontan zum Mittagessen in diesem Restaurant. Der erste Eindruck war positiv.Wir bestellten uns die klassische Pho mit Hühnchen und Sommerrollen mit Rind. Nach nicht mal fünf Minuten standen beide Gerichte schon auf unserem Tisch. Dies verwunderte uns etwas; noch machten wir uns keine Gedanken. Das änderte sich jedoch schnell. Die Pho war geschmacklos und das Huhn knorpelig . Die Sommerrollen waren trocken, geschmacklos und augenscheinlich vom Vortag. Insgesamt eine totale Katastrophe. Essen konnten wir beide Gerichte nicht. Wir zahlten und gingen wortlos. Der freundliche Kellner wollte uns die Gerichte zum Mitnehmen noch einpacken. Wir lehnten dankend ab. Nie wieder!

Sao Mai is a super nice restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and not cramped despite the small space. Outdoor seating in summer is also recommended. The service was always attentive and friendly. The food itself was excellent - both cheaper “typical Asian takeaway” dishes as well as Vietnamese specialties and culinary highlights can be discovered here. Definitely worth a visit!

Loved the food and vibe there. The service was great. I don't remember what I actually ordered, but it was with noodles, chicken , soup, and veggies, maybe golden curry. I would highly recommend going there, for the price pf 12-15€ they give full pot of a meal which could definitely satisfy you. I would recommend coconut cocktail. There is a lot of verity food.
