Food was quickly at the table, tapas are above average for Nuremberg. Service was attentive but not annoying. If you want to complain, you could say it's a bit tight. Others would say comfortable 😁

Favorite tapas spot in Nürnberg so far!

Top place with quality tapas (carne) dishes, where the house wine was a perfect match. Unfortunately, we were short on time, otherwise we would have stayed for a long time!

The tapas is quite nice. The atmosphere is also very good due to quite close environment, although difficult to get a seat sometime. The waitresses are very friendly and caters quite well. I would suggest though having some more fish options like sardines if possible

As always, the tapas are delicious and I always feel like I'm in the Canary Islands. It's great that there is something like this in Nuremberg!

One of the best places in Nuremberg for tapas

My husband and I went to Santos for the first time yesterday The atmosphere is very cozy and authentic The service was extremely professional and not at all intrusive. The bartender had an attentive eye. We were allowed to watch the cooking. The chef treated the food very respectfully and shone in terms of taste in every category offered. We were very satisfied and will make the restaurant our regular Spaniard!!!

Everything was perfect, but unfortunately you sit far too close together... Otherwise great!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Santos Spanish Restaurant today, it was really good. The ambience was authentic - a good mix of traditional Spanish flair and younger design. The warm colors and lovingly designed decorations create an inviting and cozy atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing evening with friends or family. The tapas were very good. The selection was varied and offered something for every taste. From classic patatas bravas to delicious prawns to more innovative creations - every tapas was a delight! The ingredients are fresh and taste authentic. The service was friendly and the waiters were able to give good advice when choosing dishes. Overall, it was a lovely evening in a restaurant that I can definitely recommend. If you're looking for an authentic Spanish experience with delicious food and a nice atmosphere, you won't be disappointed here.

Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet, aber das Essen war eher enttäuschend, Miniportionen, klar bei Tapas ist es nicht viel aber man müsste schon mindestens 8 bestellen um einigermaßen satt zu werden. Besonders gut war es auch nicht , kaum gewürzt, fade. Dafür waren die Preise gesalzen. Keinen weiteren Besuch wert, Touri- Nepp hoch 5

They had no idea about aioli, it was a porridge with no taste, not a hint of garlic in it. Mass processing, leave it alone. Maybe interesting as a tourist app, once and never again, rip-off for little and tasteless food, the ambience doesn't help either

What a lovely and pretty shop! Yesterday we strolled past here with a full stomach after 130 m. The cook had just opened the door and was sitting outside smoking coffee. Since we were interested in the menu display, he invited us upstairs to inspect it. Based on the look of the rooms and the convincing text from the “host”, we immediately reserved a table for the next evening. What joy when we came in for the opening today. Immediately recognized and remembered. We were given the most beautiful table in the back area with the door to the courtyard wide open. Overall extremely hospitable staff. Since we were given a menu yesterday, our list of tapas requests was already drawn up. All very tasty. The garlic “Ali-Oli” is exceptional, as it does not contain mayonnaise. If requested, the potatoes were left out with the chorizo. I found the red chili and green (chimichurri?) sauces, which were also placed on the table, to be excellent. Not only did we receive special “Happy Birthday” napkins; The chef presented us with homemade churros with a lit sparkler and the corresponding song from the music system. The cook joined me again for a digestive cigarette in front of the house. He talked about his Spanish-Jordanian heritage and that he owed his cooking skills to his grandmother. The Spanish restaurant has existed since 2005, but there has been a change of ownership in between. He explained the six-pointed brewer's star on the back of the house (which is meant to represent water, fire and air as well as the ingredients water, malt and hops) and pointed out the history board at the entrance. House number 24 on this street, along with another house (one with a beautiful bay window), remained almost undamaged after the war. At the end he acted as a city guide and walked with me a few steps further to a courtyard where there was a wine shop (Red Barrel), barrels of the original Nuremberg red beer behind glass and a whiskey warehouse. He said that this is part of the famous rock corridors (branching tunnel and cellar system under Nuremberg's old town). Absolutely AMAZING!

Unfortunately, the food was never worth the price. The Ali-Olio is more like whipped cream that has just missed the garlic. The complaint was not addressed or received at all. Nevertheless, it was a great atmosphere and fast and friendly service.

Best tapas!!! We were spontaneously looking for a Spanish restaurant. I became aware of it during the first search thanks to the good reviews. Dropped by spontaneously and the friendly waitress was able to free up seats 🙌 From the table you can watch the chefs at work... and do so with great dedication and talent. Every single dish was incredibly good and we reordered several times. The ambience was also stylish and cozy. Absolutely TOP recommendation for every tapas lover!!!! Will 100% come back 🎉

One of the best tapas bars in Nuremberg. The selection is large enough to offer sufficient variety, and the individual tapas are delicious and refined. The service is usually to the point, friendly and fits the price range. I always enjoy coming here and enjoying the Spanish flair. The only (small) downer for me is that there is little space. You can describe it as cozy, but also a bit cramped. Good for going with friends, entertaining is possible at any time, but not the first choice for a romantic date.

The food was really very good. Lots of seafood options. Other than the usual dishes, I particularly liked the steak. Only, the spicy ribs was dry and overcooked. Also, we had to wait for 40mins for our food after ordering! I know its' busy and friday, but still the service was pretty slow.

We went to “Santos” on the chance and were warmly welcomed... We were also lucky enough to get a spot spontaneously, which is not necessarily common on the weekend (it's always best to reserve) The ambience is fantastic and you can watch the chefs preparing the food... The staff was friendly and accommodating, we received great advice and had delicious meals prepared... we felt completely comfortable... and of course come back...

The tapas and drinks are great, perfectly priced and super tasty. The service is friendly, funny and often asks if everything is okay. The ambience is small, fine and gives a nice Spanish atmosphere 🇪🇸👍🏻

Service and ambience good. Food wasn't that good. And the price was too high for the fairly simple food, which didn't even taste that good (fried things were very dry, sauces were boring). A tip: if you order a bottle of white wine for €25, then a wine cooler would have been good, otherwise the wine would be too warm

So I was actually disappointed. I've been to much better tapas bars. The taste of the food wasn't very good. Unfortunately, the potatoes had turned very brown, which was also noticeable in the taste. Only the staff was very attentive and kept asking if I would like to order anything else. Almost asking a little too much but better than asking too little

The Santos is a small tapas bar in the middle of the historic old town. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is typically Spanish. Here you can enjoy excellent tapas and great drinks. As always, we enjoyed it very much. We would love to come back.

Place is indeed very nice! Most plates were very very delicious. Aioli was incredible! Two plates that were really disappointing were patatas bravas and churros. One can only choose one sauce to patatas bravas (spicy or aioli). In Spain, patatas bravas were always served with red sauce and extras were only on request. In this case, there was no red sauce when choosing aioli. But the taste of the dish was ok. Complete disappointment were churros. We didn’t even finish them. They were very hard and had a very chemical chocolate topping from a grocery store.. better not to serve it at all Waiters were very very friendly

The tapas were all very good and plentiful, the atmosphere is typically Spanish, but reservations are strongly recommended. We even got a fire fountain performance for our birthday and the whole restaurant sang along. Great mood 😊

When we booked online we were only given a time slot of 2.25 hours and that was on a Sunday at 6 p.m. Tables and chairs are placed so closely that it is truly uncomfortable. The service was very good. At 8.30 p.m. the music was turned up so loud that conversation was hardly possible and we heard the ejection signal... We were also the second to last guests!

Actually one of the best tapas resteraunts we have ever visited Staff speaks English and German and is very attentive. Food was phenomenal. No 0/8/15 tapas, but something special. The wine was also very good and still inexpensive. From the location, ambience, service to the food, a full 5 stars. But without a reservation, understandably no chance… keep it up.

Very nice restaurant with very tasty food. The food comes quickly. Attentive service. However, sometimes too attentive. A waitress constantly wanted to clear away dishes even though there was still food in the bowls/plates. That was extremely annoying! Therefore I can only give 3 stars for the service.

cozy, small tapas bar; Even though it's so small, it's not full or overcrowded - so it's already busy, but maybe it's all reservations that are all assigned to one table and so you don't get the feeling that the place is crammed with guests - that speaks for a good organization; The service is very attentive, you don't have to wait long for someone to take care of you, the homemade lemonades are incredibly tasty, as is the food! We had a lovely evening here with colleagues and I've also heard from friends that they like going here - recommended!

The food was delicious, but what was a bit annoying was the very small tables. There were two of us there and we had made a reservation, we got a small table at the bar, everyone had two tapas and a drink and it was rather cramped, we couldn't have ordered more food.

i had a great time at Santos. i visited yesterday to celebrate my birthday with 7 friends and we enjoyed it a lot! the food was very nice, we didn’t have to wait too much for the food, the place looks very cool too. was a bit too warm withthe heating but nothing that changed the experience. the staff also very kind and the online reservation worked smoothly. is a bit over the usual price but for celebrations is definitely worth it. you should have a reservation tho! definitely visiting again

Best Tapas restaurant in town without any doubt. The food is just excellent, the chef really knows the kitchen (big kudos here), the service is excellent and the ambiance is just perfect (music very original included). Everything is just delicious. We are frequent clients for 3 years now and the consistency is also admirable. Just make sure to book a table before, cuz the place is often fully booked. Be prepared for one of the best tapas you are going to have the pleasure to experience.

Wirklich perfekte Tapas, sehr lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Preislich leider etwas hoch, nichts was man sich öfter mal gönnt. Mit dem tollen Service und Ambiente aber immer ein Besuch wert. Leichte Kleidung ist zu empfehlen. Bei viel Betrieb ist es im Lokal sehr warm.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr nettem Chef und aufmerksamem Personal, dass Essen war sehr lecker und der Sangria ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien das Santos besucht. Was wir bestellt haben hat sehr gut geschmeckt, leider sind die Portionsgrößen sehr klein. Der Service hat bestellte Tapas vergessen zu liefern, was natürlich vorkommen kann. Die Auswahl der Tapas ist leider überschaubar wenn ich mit anderen Tapas Restaurant vergleiche. Wir sind nach dem Essen in eine anders Kneipe gegangen, weil eine Unterhaltung bei der sehr lauten Musik nur teilweise möglich war. Fazit: Wir werden das Santos nicht mehr besuchen, weil das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis (Preis/ Portionsgröße )nicht passt.
