Nice Greek family restaurant in Obersendling. Anyone who has ever been to Greece will feel like they are in a classic tavern with a family connection. Classic Greek map. Food is plentiful and tasty, we enjoyed it and felt very comfortable.

We have been coming here for years, the food has always been excellent, the service is attentive and warm, the atmosphere is familiar and cozy. Takeaway was always great too! The owner(?) who has since appeared as the "new owner" has long since left, so I can give the Santorini 5 stars again with a clear conscience.

Very good food at very reasonable prices, something you rarely find in the area. Very flavorful. There was an ouzo with the meal and one after the meal. Highly recommended. Open lunch until 3 p.m.

Almost forgot to dine in Germany, great experience

For the first time in my life I ate such terrible Greek food. Thank God this is my first and last time here. I don't understand why there are so many people in this restaurant... I give one star for the ouzo as it is very difficult to digest…

On Holiday in Munich and this restaurant was 10 min walk from our hotel. Lovely place. Very welcoming despite the language barrier the owners are a lovely couple and the lady tried her best to speak to us in English and the gentleman shook everyone’s hand as they left. Food was delicious and the shot of ouzo was a nice touch. Highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed.

Santorini is a perfect Mediterranean restaurant . We will visit very frequently.

We were here for lunch, the environment was very nice, cozy, the service was pleasant, only we waited a long time for the food (approx. 45 minutes). Otherwise, the selection of Greek dishes is varied and above all it was delicious - baked gyros with cheese and fries, I definitely recommend it 😋😋😋

First time we tried real food in Germany. Mediterranean food is appreciated, both squid and gyros are recommended. If we had discovered it sooner, we would have returned. #yepayaestoyporaqui

We waited almost an hour for our food. The plates were very sparsely filled (I've never been to a Greek restaurant where I left so unsatisfied). Mine only had meat and a few fries. So I asked for tzatziki and got an extra plate (which of course costs extra). Far too expensive for the quality (and quantity)!!!

I ate here every night when I visited this beautiful city. The atmosphere, the warmth of the owners, the exquisite and sublime flavor of the dishes, in short, this is without a doubt the best restaurant in Munich.

Update: After my last review, I responded immediately. I can recommend it again!!! That was great six years ago. This lunchtime, Paro plate for €14, measly portion, left hungry. I don't know that. When pointed out that it wasn't much, they say: you'll get more on your next visit. It doesn't change my hunger now and there won't be a next time. It's a shame actually

First time in Munich in 18 years, and around Santorini by luck while visiting friends in the area. Food and service were great, and gave me a chance to practice some Greek! Also tried the house liqueur which was great. Highly recommended.

Very nice and warm hosts and a beautifully designed restaurant, and the food came quickly and was excellent. In terms of price it was rather expensive, but it was good value for money. Overall we had a very nice evening here.

We often get healthy Mediterranean cuisine for home here. It is almost always very crowded there, which means that others have also recognized that the cuisine is very good. We are super satisfied. The waitresses are always very friendly. Price-performance is perfect.

I have often ordered a gyro to take away in the last few years. Today I was there for dinner for the first time and was completely convinced. The creta plate was varied and tasted excellent to us. Classic ambience and excellent hospitality! We'd love to come back :)

Very simple but it's ok. The service could be quicker and more attentive but they are Greek. The food is good and when it's full it takes a long time to get it. The prices are moderate.

In den letzten Wochen bin ich soetwas wie ein Freund des Hauses geworden! Sophia und Vangelos sind wunderbare Gastgeber und immer da! Vermutlich seit Jahren! Natürlich ist es manchmal stressig für beide denn sie machen Service, Management und Sophia dazu noch Küche fast immer alleine. Dann kann es mal etwas dauern, aber dafür gibt’s warme Küche ja von 18-22 Uhr mindestens. Und bei der Küche ist Sophia kompromisslos! Fast alles was geht ist frisch und ich kann die Anmerkungen mancher anderer Rezensenten hier nicht verstehen, die etwas anderes wahrgenommen haben. Man sollte mal ein Melitzanosalata (Auberginen Püree) Vergleichsessen von allen Griechen in München machen, ich glaube das vom Santorini wäre bei weitem das einzige dass hohe Ansprüche befriedigt! Ich habe viele Griechen ausprobiert und hier ist das einzig wahre! Dann die Speisen sind immer bester Qualität in Zubereitung und Geschmack , es mag nicht immer 1a Kilometer 0 wollschwein glücklich geschlachtet sein? Aber frisch und gut ist es immer gewesen und ich war jetzt etwa zum 10ten mal hier! Dazu bedenke man, dass ein Abendessen mit einem halben Rotwein, Vorspeise und Hauptgang (Platte) mit 2 ouzo und kaffe meist weniger als 30 Euro p.p. Kostet! Mein Vater sagte immer, bei ausländischen Restaurants lasse man sich davon leiten ob auch Expts oder Touristen des jeweiligen Landes hier essen gehen; im Santorini ist es manchmal so voll mit Griechen dass es schwierig ist einen Tisch zu bekommen (Vangelos hat fast immer eine Lösung). Dazu ist das hier eine Stadtteil Versammlungsstätte und es gibt viele Vereine die hier regelmässig verkehren und zufrieden sind! I come from beautiful Saarland and invited my daughter to Santorini because it was my birthday. I found the restaurant from the internet. A very nice restaurant with Greek warmth. The stay is like a short vacation in Greece. The food is simply authentic, great. The birthday surprise from the kitchen was a success. Very dear thanks. If you want to enjoy Greece for a few hours you should definitely go to Santorini. Thanks

With authentic Greek taste and warm Greek hospitality, this restaurant distinguishes itself from other seafood restaurants I have visited all over Europe. I loved everything. Leider kann man diesen Griechen nicht empfehlen. Das Gyros und die Grillteller waren von minderwertiger Qualität, Zaziki hatte nichts mit dem eines griechischen Lokals zu tun gehabt. Nachdem Samstag Abend kurz nach 21 Uhr keine Gäste mehr da waren (sagt eigentlich schon Alles) wurde uns unaufgefordert die Rechnung gebracht, so nach dem Motto "Rausschmiss". Sehr schade, der Wirt sollte sich die negativen Bewertungen mal zu Herzen nehmen!

Sono arrivato alle 9 di sera e temevo che il proprietario mi avrebbe buttato fuori perché il ristorante non era pieno e stava per chiudere. Invece, come ho capito in seguito, ero troppo in anticipo, perché molti clienti abituali sono arrivati solo poco prima delle 22. Il ristorante è tipico e quasi troppo rustico per aspettarsi una cucina veramente buona. Anche qui la cucina ci ha sorpreso con un'ottima taramassalata (purea di melanzane) e poi un grande e buonissimo bifteki con formaggio di pecora. Il vino rosso era molto buono e a 11 euro al mezzo litro aveva un prezzo ragionevole. Il servizio dei proprietari è molto gentile e la cucina è normalmente aperta fino alle 10.30, come indicato all'esterno. Consigliato!

Das Wirte-Ehepaar kennt extrem viele Gäste. Diese Stammkunden, mehrere unabhängige blinde Esser zeugen ebenso wie Abholer von der Qualität der Küche. Daß letztere hier verweilenden Gästen nicht störend auffallen, liegt nicht nur an durchaus hörbarer griechischer Verständigung zwischen Service u. Theke sowie Küche, sondern am musikalischen Gesamtrahmen mit Gott sei Dank griechischer Musik statt Udo J.- oder Helene F.-Einerlei. Kommen Sie also hierher ruhig mit ein, zwei griechischen Servietten-Wörtern (kalimera usw.), genießen Sie die einfache, direkte, authentische Atmosphäre, und probieren Sie sich durch die Karte, um Ihre anderswo bevorzugten und Ihre hier präferierten Gerichte herauszufinden. Preis-Leistung auch bei Getränken noch o.k., modernste Zahlungsmöglichkeiten sowie WLAN mögen für d. ein oder anderen noch von Interesse sein.

Still wonderful: the Santorini in Obersendling. The dishes are excellent and an ouzo is often offered. The restaurant is very busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are recommended. In an emergency, a table will also be provided.

Seit Jahr mega tolles Restaurant. Wir feiern hier jede Feier mit unserer Familie. Service ist mega freundlich ❤️. Essen ist super lecker zubereitet. Die Portionen sind zwar etwas geschrumpft, jedoch komplett in Ordnung, da früher zu viel für mich😁. Weiter so!!!🌷

Gott sei Dank sind Sofia und Evangelus wieder da, seit dem schmeckt alles wieder deutlich besser. Der alte Geschäftsführer hat zwar viel verändern wollen, aber nichts richtig umgesetzt! Mit Sofia und Evangelus ist der gute Geist dieses Restaurants wieder zurück gekommen. Hoffentlich bleiben sie uns noch lange erhalten. Wir lieben das Santorini!

This will be a more limited review because we did not have too much time and did not get the chance to try too many different things. The place feels (and I believe is) like a family owned place. They start by offering the table ouzo, which is always a nice gesture! The menu contains the standard greek dishes you would expect, with some variations (like island-themed plates and whatnot). The three of us enjoyed our food, although the cheese-covered gyros had a bit too much cream for my taste. I would love to return and try more of what they have to offer!

Habe sowohl schon vor Ort gegessen als auch zum Mitnehmen abgeholt. Immer einwandfrei!!

Inzwischen etwas modernisiert, essen war immer schon gut, aber inzwischen ist es auch netter angerichtet und präsentiert. Besitzer und Bedienungen sind immer schon nett.

Ein Desaster, mehr fällt mir dazu nicht ein. Eine Stunde nach Ankunft bekamen wir unsere Getränke, trotz mehrfachem nachfragen. Anderen Gästen ging es ähnlich. Die kalte Vorspeise dauerte eine weitere Stunde und kam auch nur, weil wir uns quasi vor die Küche stellten. Und die Hauptspeise kam dann nach einer weiteren halben Stunde, war aber völlig falsch. Nach nochmal einer halben Stunde kam wieder die vermeintliche Hauptspeise und war wieder nicht die bestellte. Wir haben es dann gegessen. Ein Teller war komplett Leber und nur bedingt genießbar, mein Essen war ok, aber auch nur zur Hälfte richtig. Immerhin preislich ist man uns entgegengekommen, aber der Abend wird noch lange, negativ in Erinnerung bleiben. Sitzplatz außen, Freitagabend, viele Gäste und ersten Tag geöffnet nach Urlaub, wenn man irgend etwas als Entschuldigung suchen möchte. Das darf aber nicht zu Lasten der Gäste gehen. Oder man sagt gleich, es dauert alles, dann kann man selbst entscheiden, ob man bleibt.

Viele Stammkunden, freundliche Bedienungen (inklusive Chef), typische griechische Speisekarte ohne Schickimicki, glücklicherweise keine Monster-Portionen, im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen (zwar an der Straße, aber halt draußen), Preis/Leistung völlig okay 👍👍👍👍

Tolles Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Speisen sind wirklich sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen es von Herzen weiter.

Die alten Betreiber haben offensichtlich die Leitung abgegeben. Ich glaube, der Junge Mann hat keine Gastronomie-Ausbildung. Das fällt auf, wie er die Gäste unterschiedlich bedient. Teller abräumen ist meist Zufall. Peinlich, wenn er einen Teller bringt, wo sichtbar verbrannte ungeniesbare Teile drauf sind! Die Qualität hat nachgelassen, es wird offensichtlich anders gekocht und eingekauft. Da nützt auch das neue gesprenkelte Geschirr wenig! Die LED-Lampen an der Wand und am Tisch sind Geschmacksache. Eine Rechnung gibt es in der Regel nicht, ausser, man besteht darauf.

Gutes Essen, Service. Restaurant gibt es schon seit vielen Jahren. Direkt neben Bus und U-Bahn, S-Bahn ein paar Minuten zu Fuß.

Часто ходим с мужем в этот ресторан! Очень нравится! Дружелюбный персонал, вкусная и качественная еда, готовят быстро. Часто угощают Узо - греческая настойка. Советую ресторан, цены демократические.

Moderner Wind aus Griechischen Gewässern zieht durch das Lokal. Wo man persönlich mit Handschlag und einem Uso begrüßt wird. Essen entführt einen nach Santorin und gute Gerüche aus der Küche verwöhnen einen mit etlichen kulinarischen Genüssen. Gerne wieder und bis nächstes mal.

Wir sind seit 1 Jahr regelmäßig zum Essen dort und es war immer super lecker. Ich würde behaupten der beste Grieche in München. Zartes Fleisch, leckere Beilagen und toller Nachtisch Galaktoboureko (ein Traum).

Ab 20:30 Uhr etwas aufgelockerter, ab 21:00 freie Plätze (halt deutsch). Service und Atmosphäre passend
