Naja... Wir haben uns auf Pizza gefreut. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, es sei Dienstag und da sei der Pizzabäcker nicht da. Aha... Teilweise wurden bestellte Getränke nicht gebracht, oder beim Beilagensalat fehlte die Hälfte. Minze wurde trotzdem ins Getränk getan, obwohl man ausdrücklich hingewiesen hatte, dass man diese nicht mag. Die Sahne zum Dessert war zum krönenden Abschluss sauer! Die Seerose profitiert leider nur noch von seiner Lage. Schade!

Leider zu lange auf Getränke und dann auch auf das Essen gewartet, nicht nachvollziehbar. Dienstags keine Pizza, Grund 🤷‍♂️. Spaghetti: größer Teller, großer Preis, dagegen die Portion sehr übersichtlich ☹️. Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen. Bei der sehr guten Lage muss man wohl nicht so drauf achten 🤔. Es gab bessere Zeiten und Restaurants in der Seerose, sorry. Als Steppke war sie als Milchbar am Besten 😁. Rezension wird vermutlich wieder gelöscht (über Google, passiert immer wieder)...was soll's. Es gibt genug andere schöne Futterstellen in Potsdam ✌️

Der Service ist sehr schlecht, frech und nicht Kundenorientiert. Wir hatten reserviert und unser Tisch war nicht vorbereitet... Wozu die Reservierung dann?? Das einzige schön ist die Aussicht auf dem See.

Einer der Kellner sehr unfreundlich und respektlos. Selten erlebt, dass jemand bei der Bestellung nicht zuhört, weil er währenddessen mit anderen Gästen spricht, dann ein zweites Mal bei uns nachfragt und es am Ende immer noch zum Teil falsch ist. Keine Entschuldigung, sondern lediglich noch der Spruch, dass die Madame tief durchatmen soll. Unverschämt hoch zehn. Letzter Besuch gewesen, immer noch sprachlos …

Wir haben in der Seerose eine tolle Jugendweihe gefeiert. Mit ganz viel Liebe wurde die Tafel eingedeckt, ein ausgezeichnetes Menü gezaubert und sehr gutem Service. Dazu noch das Ambiente am Wasser. Gerne wieder.

Wir saßen bei herrlichem Sonnenschein auf der Terasse mit Blick auf die Hafel. Meine Pizza und die Gnocchi waren sehr lecker, der Wein sehr erlesen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Wir haben diverse gute Getränke und Speisen zu uns genommen und verweilten sehr lange auf der schönen Terrasse und wurden dabei immer freundlich und kompetent bewirtet.

Leider schade auch mal eine megative Bewertung schreiben zu müssen. Wir waren letztes Jahr im Sommer zum Familieenessen dort eingeladen worden. Die Lage des Restaurants ist mir seit Kindestagen bekannt. Leider mussten wir an dem Tag feststellen das die Qualität alles andere als gut war und ist. Die Pizza war an diesem Tag Komplett gestrichen warum aich immer da es keine Begründung dazu gab und die anderen Speisen waren recht lieblos und vorallem geschmacklos. Da hinterfrage ich der Selbst als Gastronom und Executive Chef tätig ist was das Personal dort eigentlich beruflich macht. Der Kellner war zwar bemüht und freundlich aber mekrlich absolut überfordert und die Luchetso leid es mir tut hat mit authentischer italienischer Küche absolut gar nichts zu tun. Dem Küchenteam empfehle ich eine Weiterbildung bzw mal einen Aufenthalt von 12 Monaten von Nord bis Süditalien um die wahre Leidenschaft und Automatik der italienischen Küche kennenzulernen. Leider vermisste ich von Anfang bis Ende absolute f gastronomische Leidenschaft und Hingabe zum Service und zum essen. Ich hoffe das diese Konstruktive Kritik angenommen wird und daran gearbeitet wird da der Laden definitiv Potential hat und mit dem richtigen Personal auch absolut das Zeug hat eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt zu werden. Alles gute trotz allem für die Zukunft des Unternehmens.

Ich war früher hier oft anwesend. Besonders toll empfinde ich neben der wunderschönen Lage am Wasser natürlich auch das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken, das ich immer als vielfältig wahrgenommen habe. Auch das Personal ist stets engagiert und freundlich und geht auch auf extra Wünsche der Kunden ein. Was ich auch immer richtig toll fand, waren die besonderen Events mit den unterschiedlichsten Künstlern. Das waren ganz besondere Highlights die mir im Kopf geblieben sind. Also abschließend kann ich nur sagen: ein echt wunderschönes Lokal, wo ein Besuch wirklich sehr angenehm und lohnenswert ist!

Etwas längere Wartezeiten aber das Essen war Super.

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal in diesem italienischen Restaurant und bin absolut begeistert! Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich willkommen – das Ambiente ist gemütlich, stilvoll und sehr authentisch. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend und lecker. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen.

Waren dort am Valentinstag heute, hervorragendes Essen!!! Besonders die Garnelen!!! Die Werbung für das Restaurant an der Straße wird dem sehr guten Restaurant nicht gerecht. Da muss etwas viel Besseres her, damit man den Hinweis der Plakatwerbung auch wirklich ernst nimmt!💐👍💓💓

Hervorzuheben ist der wirklich gute Service und das bestellte Essen kam - trotz à la carte - zusammen an den Tisch. Die Qualität muss man hoch loben, allen schmeckte es vorzüglich. Vielen Dank! Martinsgans am Kamin, klassisch mit Grünkohl, Rotkohl und Kartoffelklößen - ein Fest für die Sinne...

Keinen Stern zu geben geht leider nicht. Für 10 Personen Anfang November reserviert,vor 2 Tagen kommt eine Absage,leider hat mann eine geschlossene Gesellschaft. Toller Service,heute kommt eine Mail,zu Erinnerung nicht den gebuchten Termin zu vergessen. Toller Laden,so geht guter Service.

It's a great restaurant with a beautiful view, fantastic service and perfect food. We felt completely comfortable and would come back at any time. We highly recommend the spaghetti Bolognese and the panacotta. :)

The food was delicious, the view of the water was fantastic, but the wait time, even during off-peak hours, was abysmal. (Drinks order > 30 minutes + another 15 minutes for delivery, food order > 45 minutes) Reducing the number of tables/seats would be beneficial. Service is pleasant and friendly despite the longer wait times.

Appealing menu, beautiful view over the Havel Bay, high prices, but then, unfortunately, the food was disappointing: oven-baked vegetables were half-raw, rosemary potatoes tasted of nothing, rump steak was still rare, no garnish, etc. Wouldn't recommend it and will definitely not be returning - a shame.

Great restaurant in a beautiful location right on the water. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Even though we didn't have a reservation, a newly vacated table was immediately set for us. The small menu reflects the excellent cuisine. The dishes were creative, incredibly delicious, and a departure from the standard Italian fare. The wine service was also impressive. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We'd love to come back.

We visited the Seerose for coffee and dinner as part of a family celebration. The service and food were top-notch. A great and delicious selection of dishes, freshly prepared. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Highly recommended.

We visited the "Seerose" for my in-laws' golden wedding anniversary, which we had already visited before. During the preparation and planning of the celebrations, the team provided my in-laws with valuable advice and suggestions regarding the food selection. On the day of the celebration, a beautiful table with floral decorations was set on the terrace overlooking the water. In beautiful weather and a pleasant breeze, we first enjoyed coffee and delicious cakes together, followed by a raft ride. Afterwards, we returned to the "Seerose" for dinner. After an aperitif and various appetizers, we dined à la carte. The food was exquisite and the service excellent. The team was very warm and friendly, always striving to fulfill our individual wishes. As a family of 14, we had a wonderful day, which we will all remember very fondly thanks to the outstanding performance of the "Seerose" team. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team for taking such good care of my in-laws and us as guests! We will definitely be back!

Hello, I've never experienced anything like this before. I went there with my family, and we were ignored the entire time. Our order was taken, but then forgotten, so we had to ask several times. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, and our food was also forgotten. Truly disappointing; I can't recommend this restaurant at all.

I had reserved a table for ten people and received confirmation via email. However, upon arrival, the reservation could not be found. This can happen, of course, but they were able to get us a table at short notice, for which we are grateful. The service was friendly, but only one person was truly professional, while the others lacked some experience. The drinks supply could be improved – glasses often remained empty without being noticed. Furthermore, the wrong drinks were served several times. The food was okay, but the portions varied considerably. For example, while one plate contained two large schnitzels, another contained only a small fish. This can vary depending on the dish, but it still seemed unbalanced. Perhaps it would be better to focus more on pasta and pizza. The ambiance is pleasant, especially with the beautiful view of the water.

Used to be a great restaurant, but it's deteriorated considerably. First, you're given a menu covered in scribbles. Then, immediately, you're told they don't serve pizza or gnocchi, which, incidentally, is half the menu at an Italian restaurant. We asked the waiter about it, and all he said was, "Have a nice day." That was probably our last visit. I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

We left immediately. The waiter said that you couldn't order any of the many pizzas today, but we didn't get an explanation, which is a shame. The menus, the signature dish, were a joke. Mine was dirty, as if people had been digging their hands in the sand beforehand, and my boyfriend's was covered in scribbles, as if it were a coloring book. They didn't even get an apology for my criticism, which is unacceptable. It's a real shame; it used to be my favorite restaurant.

Like many other reviews here... the food was good, but the service absolutely not. We reserved a table the day before. Not only did no one know about it, there was no table for us, and we were left standing at the entrance for 10 minutes and ignored. Besides the unfunny comments made to us (two women) and the long waits before we were allowed to order and receive our food, we ended up sitting there for three hours. The dessert I ordered at the beginning was forgotten and spontaneously given to another guest, so I couldn't have it. The quality of the food was good, but I wouldn't come back with service like that. In total, we spent €50 per person.

The service is catastrophic and the waiting time is an eternity.

Unfortunately, this positive first impression is tempered by the less attractive location. Of course, the restaurant can't be blamed for this, but it should compensate appropriately with service and quality. This is precisely where the problem begins. The cuisine shows signs of quality: The appetizer platter for two people was very tasty – fresh, finely balanced, and well presented. However, the portion size seems a bit smaller than one might expect in relation to the price. The accompanying bread and side dishes, on the other hand, significantly enhance the composition. The main courses were solid: The pasta was harmonious and well-seasoned, but lacked particular refinement – well-crafted, but interchangeable. The pizza, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise: a light, well-baked dough, a pleasant size, and an overall convincing flavor. What significantly dampens the overall impression, however, is the service. The process – from seating to ordering to payment – was sluggish for long stretches and clearly characterized by staff overwork. This is less about the existing staff than about the management's lack of capacity planning. Cutting costs here is cutting corners – with noticeable effects on guest satisfaction. Conclusion: Solid cuisine with occasional highlights, but poorly organized. Anyone looking for a relaxed restaurant experience will be disappointed. A return visit would be conceivable under better conditions – but currently, probably not.

The online recommendation was quite positive, with a slight Eastern charm throughout the afternoon. While the view of the lake didn't detract from the experience, I can't say whether I'm allowed to pay with an EC card for more than €30. In any case, we had fun. Definitely recommended as a spontaneous, no-frills tourist outing.

Awful experience. They cannot handle big groups. Which is not easy, that's right. But with respect, any customer can accept situations. Pasta is very, very, little. Gnocchi are like 4 lil potatoes... Salmon pasta is fat ... Oily. Price is high with no reason. Pizza looks better than the rest of the plates. Easy to make, when they don't forget to do it... The location is ok, close to the water spot. Terrible service. Slow and not honest. Big group desapointed in majority. Maybe works better with just a couple or with the right waiters.

Great view, planned lunch with my wife. The café was empty. The sun was shining brightly, so I asked the staff for an umbrella. The staff politely declined. We went to another café. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Today, Friday the 13th, we were very satisfied. The pizzas were excellent and arrived very quickly. The negative reviews are a mystery to me. The prices are also reasonable for Potsdam. What other place offers a half-liter of beer for €4.50? And no delivery service can manage €13 or €14 for a pizza with a great base and toppings, and it's delivered in a box. Plus, the view and atmosphere of Neustadt Havelbucht are also included. We've never been disappointed here and would gladly return. The only thing to note is that the prices on the website for some dishes didn't quite match the menu on the premises. Oh yeah, my wife actually didn't like pizza. Now she's in love. 😍

The waiters were very friendly, but unfortunately the service was very, very slow, taking 40 minutes or more to get an order. The prices for the service they offer need to be improved. The views are beautiful, but they still need to learn how to improve their service.

The restaurant is okay. For whatever reason, the chimney's exhaust isn't working properly. The entire restaurant was filled with a strange odor, presumably from the asparagus. This urgently needs to be addressed, as it's not a pleasant experience. The restrooms aren't very clean either. Which is a shame, because the food was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the room is also very noisy. It's difficult to have a conversation.

Unfortunately not anymore. The pizzas were good, but in my case the service was disastrous on the last two visits. The last time I waited 15 minutes just for the card. As four people, we didn't feel noticed. The table was not set, just like today. Today the obligatory bread was only available upon request and there was also no request for the drink on the house. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting the restaurant with my family in the near future, but there are plenty of alternatives in Potsdam where it tastes just as good, but the service is also good.

I would prefer to give 0 stars just because when I ordered a pizza I was offered extra cheese and tomatoes simply to make the whole thing “fresher”, which ultimately led to me unknowingly ordering another pizza that cost 2 euros more, which of course I was then charged for. Good day, So to start with the fact that the food is actually pretty good is not deserved. Of course the food is great, as is the location, but at what price? I'm telling you. The price lies in hours of waiting and snotty service. While we order drinks and food here, every hour, excluded from getting the things because this took another two hours to keep it short; We waited a long time. We have grown old at the tables here. We found out things about some people that you actually shouldn't/wanted to know. It all took far too long. The waiters were more busy eating at the table themselves and getting drunk at the bar. You may not believe it, unfortunately that's how it is. If you're up for such an experience, go ahead. Otherwise, I and my friends would advise against it. Strongly dependent on it. For heaven's sake, go eat somewhere else.

Unfortunately the restaurant has developed into a negative one, the food is dripping with fat, the food is not edible, the price/performance ratio is out of proportion. We were there on March 8th, 2025 at 12:10 p.m. At first everything looked closed, after 10 minutes someone came, brought the card without a word (no greeting either), didn't clean up the bird poop or set the table, we then left after another 5 minutes, you get the feeling that you're just being a nuisance there

When the weather is beautiful, only half seating in the afternoon. When we asked for a place, we got a curt answer: If you haven't made a reservation, we don't have a place either.

Went here at lunchtime today, on a Saturday in March with wonderful weather for the fourth day in a row. The terrace has few seats and seems cluttered. Given the location with a view of the water, that's a shame and hardly understandable. There is no salt, pepper, vinegar or oil on the tables. The service is understaffed and completely overwhelmed. The menu contained on the website sometimes has different prices than on site. The online reservation was easy, but unfortunately there is no telephone number included in the confirmation for inquiries. The email address mentioned exists, but there is no response. We had pizza and pasta. We were very happy with that. In fact, it was cheap too. But to put it kindly: even with only half-open eyes you can see potential for improvement everywhere that doesn't require a lot of effort.

Food: the pizza is very tasty, I would rate it as one of the best pizzas in Potsdam Service: nice service, very informal, friendly and informal Ambience: depending on your choice of seating, a beautiful view of the water and the sunset. The rays of light warm the soul, the food brings pleasure. A huge plus point is the real fireplace, the crackling wood and the smell that exudes through the room is unmistakably unique. The only negative point is the glass panes, some of them had stones thrown in and there are adhesive residues in some places. But overall it creates a nice, alternative atmosphere, the arch of the architectural design makes you feel very comfortable, there is something to look at everywhere, every corner of the room is interesting. The floor could be a bit cleaner in general but it's not noticeable. The toilets are also clean and smell nice. We'll be back, I wouldn't have thought that there would be such a nice restaurant in the Seerose, a really good alternative to the overcrowded restaurants on Brandenburger Straße. I find the location quite unique.

12/31/2024 reserved a table at 6 p.m. and stood in front of a closed door. We would have at least expected that - for whatever reason - the confirmed reservation would have been canceled. Very unprofessional!

Yesterday we had our third company party at the Seerose. We always enjoy coming back, the planning goes well, the food is very good and the service is simply unbeatable. It was another successful Christmas party for our team, thank you very much!

We ate goose in the Seerose. The goose, red cabbage, kale, dumplings and sauce were very tasty. The service was very nice and accommodating. We had a very nice evening. I'd love to go to St. Martin's Goose again next year.

Food and drink were okay, so the pizza could have been a little warmer, but otherwise okay. Unfortunately there wasn't enough rocket on the rocket pizza. Nowadays there seems to be no reason to tip if you can't even say thank you, so after asking for the bill several times, I went in to pay, the waiter seemed to be under a lot of pressure. A nice location for a restaurant, the food was delicious, but the toilets were so disgusting. When I pointed this out, I was told that the guests in front of us had certainly left it that way, but you could see that it hadn't been cleaned for days and we were there right at the beginning... dirty tablecloths and dirty cutlery confirmed our impression even more. When we didn't tip as much as we had hoped when paying, he threw the change back to us, which was a shame. The food also lacked love and beautiful ingredients, but it was still tasty.

The ambience at the lake is really nice. The location too. The selection on the map is limited. Especially if you have to eat vegetarian or lactose-free. We had several guests (especially children who had small requests for changes) ask whether there was milk or cream in the food and whether a pasta dish could also be vegetarian. They were reluctantly answered in the affirmative but then still partially ignored. There was cream cheese or cream in the carbonara. That belongs in an org. But carbonara is actually not pure. There are obviously no children's plates.

Were there with 4 people and wanted food. We were completely ignored for over 20 minutes, even though the waiter walked past the table x times. The restaurant wasn't nearly full. The glasses from the predecessors were not cleared away. Incredible and underground, we got up and told the waiter why we were leaving the restaurant. So definitely avoid...

Very disappointing. The service seems overwhelmed and forgets everything. And despite reservations, tables and chairs still have to be put together. Card payment is reduced to EC, everything else is not possible. The terrace makes a run-down impression and the furniture is also getting old. The food was still good, even if the pike perch only came in fillet pieces and was very dry. Still water comes in unlabeled bottles and could be expensive tap water. The bottle of wine was not opened at the table. It's a real shame, but we won't go here anymore!
