The atmosphere is very sweet, the schnitzel is delicious and satisfying, the staff is top notch🥰 you can eat raw chicken🙏🏻 You may need to make a reservation for the evening.

The food was okay (the schnitzel at MainNizza is a bit better). The service was sad. The waiter asked "will there be a tip?", we said "no", he said "I almost thought so". Incredible.

When we arrived, the gentleman at the reception was so busy with his dissertation (it must have been something like that) that he didn't even look up to greet his new guests. My friend then took over and asked if she could use the toilet in the meantime. So I continued to wait to be assigned a table. When he finally finished typing after a few minutes, he walked away without a word and left me standing there. To the counter, to random tables, back and forth, cleared something away. It felt like 15 minutes passed and he kept me/us waiting. When he deigned to turn to us, I told him that we didn't want to eat at his place today. It was my birthday and I was actually looking forward to a nice evening. To the gentleman personally: What do you actually think of wasting our time like that? Who do you think you are? I'd throw you out of town for something like that. We then went to another restaurant. Table assignment in 15 seconds with great service and 25% tip. The salt chamber died for me because of this disrespect.

Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place. 2024.08.24 I had dinner in the evening. I go to Europe 4 or 5 times every year for work. At this time, I also act as a guide for my companions. I've been to Frankfurt more than 10 times, and this is the first time I've been ripped off. I stopped by to have a quick beer. Two Asian women at the table next to me were eating pasta, schnitzel, and salad, so I asked for the same. We added beer and free tap water. I also attach the final payment receipt and photos of the food. I didn't order anything more than this. Backhendl is a fried chicken dish. I was charged for it even though I never ate it, and I only ordered one schnitzel, but got two. “It’s a bit strange. Can you give me an English receipt?” It doesn't work. And the calculation is correct. The people in my group were public officials on a business trip, so I couldn't wait any longer and left, but the image of Frankfurt was a complete abyss. Be careful of the fat lady with black horn-rimmed glasses and tattoos all over her arms.

How were 4 girls last night? The meal was excellent. The waiter, on the other hand, was horrible!! Just because we didn't quite understand the cat he thought he could give us a lesson in Austria... the plates were slapped down sloppily and we had to ask for dessert twice!! It's a shame it doesn't match the food! Last but not least, he asked for a tip and, of course, said no, he threw the receipt on the table and disappeared!!!! Food top service flop hope he leaves it!!!!!!

In the middle of Frankfurt you can eat like you're in Austria. We were there when the weather was very nice, so you can sit outside and enjoy. I had classic Wiener Schnitzel and my companion had a baked salad. Everything tasted great and with a good Austrian wine it was a perfect evening. That was great.

Best Austrian cuisine in the heart of Frankfurt. All employees are friendly and in a good mood. you notice the friends at work. The food is just incredibly delicious. The Cordon Bleu is my insider tip. (thin, tender veal, crispy breading all around, with hearty cheese and delicious ham in between, with potato salad or optionally fried potatoes - that's all you need) The kitchen does a damn good job. Early reservation is strongly recommended!

A fairly small menu, but nice portions to fill you up. Prices are completely reasonable and it's something different. The cheese dumplings were very filling, but I was actually missing that little bit of pizzazz to round off the dish perfectly. Still tasty.

Delicious Austrian delicacies. The Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad is always very good. Very thin veal with perfect breading, it just fits. The extremely good Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended as dessert. The service team is always nice and you always feel comfortable and welcome. A clear recommendation from me, we always enjoy coming here. The proximity to the Hauptwache car park is very practical for guests who come by car. Magnificent restaurant with local food. Powerful flavors, all very delicious and at the right price. The spectacular sausages and the finger-licking Apfelstrudel. Black and blonde beer also very nice.

Tatarák is not very well seasoned and tasteless

The restaurant is good, large, and well-decorated. Ordering was quick, and the food arrived promptly. The service was good, and the staff are friendly. I had the Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn; both were tasty but not spectacular. I recommend getting the regular-sized Schnitzel as the small was too small. Prices are a bit high for what you receive, but overall, I recommend this restaurant.

I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, even of places where I've had a negative experience. But here I have to say that the disappointment was so strong that I decided to write. Very good food, so much so that we decided to come back to eat here. On the first attempt, despite 2 empty tables and a waitress who was looking for a table for us, a second waiter shouted something in German and made us say that there was no place and to come back after 30 minutes... 30 minutes later we come back, the waiters they pass us ignoring us, and after another 10 minutes they tell us that the kitchen was closed. Now I don't know why they didn't want to seat us but having been a waitress for 15 years I assure you that such an attitude is really in bad taste. Especially when there were no problems on the first evening (at least on our part). It doesn't matter how good your dishes are but the staff should behave with more education and professionalism... I'm really sorry to give one star but you deserve it all.

The schnitzel is good but nothing more, it's a shame that there isn't even a sauce, of course I understand that with the Austrian concept, but it would be nice if you could offer something like that. It wasn't a waste of money but I don't need a second visit.

The first time in the Restraunt, to the salt chamber because I was coming from an appointment and wasn't quite sure what I was going to eat, I decided to try out the Restraunt Salzkammer. I ordered a drink and an original Wiener Schnitzel I said I would have, the dish was lukewarm with potato salad. When the waiter brought me the food, to my annoyance, it was fried potatoes that were rather soft and not crispy. What also annoyed me was that the waiter gave preference to 2 women and made nice eyes. The waiter apologized that there was no potato salad. I still don't think it's right if you as a customer want that and don't get it, which is against the service of the restraunt.

UNfortunately this is Not a tourist friendly place.I walked miles to reach here from my hotel but as ı was alone,other tables were not allowed me to sit. A place which is very uncomfortable next to staff counter was the only choice given to me. I didn’t accept his unkind behaviour and left without sitting. This was a bad experience for me in Frankfurt.

The website says reservation required. On the website mentioned, the reservation system does not work. When I called for the fifth time to ask if there was still a table available, there was still no answer. When we got there it was relatively empty, but we were immediately told that we weren't allowed to eat here for longer than 90 minutes. OK. The food, especially the Cordon Bleu, was very good. Our conversation was rudely interrupted and we were “quickly sent away” with the bill. The waitress was rude. Didn't even say please and generally seemed very disinterested in the customers and their wishes. Very unfortunate.

Fantastic! The atmosphere is very calm, the staff very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and at a very good price. I ate the typical dish of frankfurters and potatoes, and I recommend it if you want to try the gastronomy of this city. I have tried others, and I have a very good opinion compared to these.

Beautiful space and environment. Had a really good service, the server was kind, attentive and speaked english very good. The food was well cooked and tasty (we had deboned viennese chicken and Schnitzel). The bear was also amazing. For desert we had the small kaiserschmarrn that was more that enough for two people (amazing btw).

Went there for lunch and also took the menu. The salad with it was great, as was the cordon bleu, with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes... very tasty Dessert was included, but that was a tiny cube of dry cake. Was not good. Otherwise very nice staff and delicious.

The food was ok (just a bit overpriced) however the staff was incredibly unfriendly and rude. They pressured us to give tip and pushed us to finish eating our dinner within 30mins even though we had made a reservaion in advance. They even asked us to pay the bill while we we were still eating.

By 12:30 they were turning away people without reservations because they were full, so make sure to make one in advance if you can.

Was in the salt chamber for the first time with 2 colleagues on a Friday evening. As is unfortunately often the case today in busy restaurants, the tables are only reserved in 2-hour shifts. Since the ordered food and drinks came quite quickly, there was enough for dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., but as a guest I have to be prepared in advance to clear the table for the next guests at x o'clock have to, feels uncomfortable and driven to me. The rooms have a low ceiling height, which makes the place appear darker. The schnitzels were very good, my fried potatoes were partly soggy and greasy, so it was better to use the potato salad that one of my colleagues had and which looked very appetizing. There are no fries there. The Kaiserschmarrn in the smaller version afterwards was too much as a dessert. The plum roast was served in a small glass bowl, which was far too little for the amount of Schmarrn. In my opinion, the Schmarrn dough was a (semi-)finished product and not homemade pancake dough. The idea of ​​running an Austrian restaurant in Frankfurt is certainly a good one, but I don't have to go there anymore.

Reserved a few days in advance, as reservations are made in two time slots from 5 p.m. 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Service and operation were excellent, professional and good advice. Brought to place immediately. Ambiance very pleasant and cozy. Menu very good in terms of selection and drinks. Food was a pleasure and everything was served to perfection. Pleasant rock music at a discreet volume. Price performance normal for city location. The Kaiserschmarrn is a dream so leave room.

Incredible Vienna cuisine in the heart of Frankfurt. The venue offers menu packages as well as a la carte options. The Shnitzel is the way to go. You can select between different size options. The beer selection is wide too and all very fresh. If possible, save some room for the Apple strudel, it is worth the experience on its own. The staff is kind and helps in the selection even if you are not german speaker. I wish I had some pictures of the experience, but it looked so appealing it was devoured before our eyes. Place it on the maps, it is really worth it.

Forgot to take a picture before eating. The schnitzel was amazing. The meat was really thin and outside was also very soft yet crispy, not hard to chew. I really liked the texture. Potatoes with herbs were also really nice. I think the small schnitzel with potatoes is enough if you are not extremely hungry because big one comes with two schnitzel!!
