Just great to eat there. Everyone is friendly and nice and the food is wonderfully delicious. Something for everyone.

When you arrive you are greeted warmly and assigned a table. There is no accompaniment to the table. Unfortunately we didn't have a drink menu on the table and our waitress didn't bring us one either. There was no cutlery on the table, only chopsticks. However, I think you can request some. During the course of the evening, the waitress unfortunately forgot the drinks we ordered and the request for new chopsticks. A star deduction here. The food itself is okay but nothing special. The selection is sometimes limited, depending on whether you are sitting at the beginning or the end of the band. Basically, mostly standard things are played on the tape and it repeats itself pretty quickly. In between there are other things in particular, but in my opinion far too little. If you sit at the end of the conveyor belt, the special items usually don't even arrive because all the guests have their turn to serve first and not enough portions are put on the conveyor belt. A star deduction here. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit as it's a slightly different dining experience. For me personally, the price/performance ratio is not quite right at weekend peak times. Here you should choose the slightly cheaper prices outside of peak times. On weekends it is recommended to reserve a table here, otherwise you won't get a seat. Parking situation: There are enough parking spaces. However, if you plan to eat out for longer than 2 hours, you must explicitly inform the employees so that the parking time for your car is extended. This does not happen automatically.

We have been going to Sakura for several years and have to say that the quality has always remained the same. We come from Oberhausen and are happy to travel the km for the mega delicious sushi. Keep it up. Always happy ❤️

The food is always delicious and varied. The conveyor belt with the food is great and can also guide you well over breaks in conversation. The best places are at the beginning of the line, as that's where the best things are most common. They do arrive at the end, but much less often and later.

Celebrated our son's (9) birthday there with the family today. What a great restaurant the staff is very very nice what is missing is no problem you ask and it is brought to the table! The treadmill was varied, everything was fresh and mega tasty! We'll be back!

It's a good thing I have teenage children at home, otherwise I wouldn't have known that Running Sushi existed and probably wouldn't have had this experience. It was our first time at Sakura and we were very impressed. At the beginning there was a little introduction because we didn't know it yet. Everything was super organized. We were able to go straight to our reserved table and get started. It's great that you don't have to get up to help yourself at the buffet; you only had to leave the table for dessert with ice cream. The huge selection at the evening buffet left nothing to be desired. Everyone got their money's worth. Even our two vegetarians at the table were full and satisfied. The staff was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

I was very satisfied with my visit to Sakura Sushi in Bochum. The food was fresh and hot, and there was a wide variety of options. The service was also great, the employees were very courteous and attentive - you never had to wait long for drinks. The only point of criticism is the lighting: it was a bit dark at the food belt and at the table, which slightly affected the experience. Otherwise a great place for sushi lovers!

Too bad. Great food and nice friendly service. But recently you have to hurry up a lot. Otherwise you will automatically be charged an excessive parking fee of €35 after 2 hours. So a relaxed family dinner or birthday party is no longer possible. After 2 hours you have to leave the parking lot. It's a shame, it's always been a good place for Asian food.

Top. Sushi runs on a conveyor belt like you see in the movies. It's always fresh and the staff is nice. Bonus: Ice cream is included in the buffet. It's a bit tight in places, but this has improved greatly after the Corona partitions were dismantled. These take additional money out of the pockets of paying restaurant customers with their limited parking times. As a result, you have to hurry when eating if you don't want to be ripped off by some parking mafia companies with false power fantasies. Please talk to the owner of the site, as the parking mafia he hired is also damaging your reputation and the reinforcements. Such “services” contribute nothing to society in an almost empty parking lot, but rather harm the general public. Unfortunately, due to the parking situation, I will have to refrain from future visits. I want to enjoy my food and not have to wolf it down as quickly as possible. It's a shame because this is my favorite sushi restaurant.

First of all, this used to be my favorite restaurant for sushi, but it has declined tremendously. First, our reserved table was not prepared and we received broken soy shells, which was anything but nice. There were also stains in the bowl. After more than 20 minutes there was still no service, so I got up and complained about the situation. They apologized and shortly after I sat back down we were told to change tables because the restaurant wanted to turn off one of the treadmills. We then complied with this request. After almost 30 minutes the drinks finally arrived. When it comes to food, there was very little choice. You won't find classics like Kappa, Sake or Tsuna Maki. There was hardly any Avacoda and the majority consisted of fried pieces, cream cheese and endless fruit. Exotic items such as fried banana makis with coconut could not be overlooked. Since I really like eating tuna, I was of course looking forward to it, but the cooked tuna no longer looked appetizing because it looked like minced meat, as if the plates had been on the way for a long time and the fish had turned brown. The inside out rolls also no longer tasted fresh. Definitely the last time I was there, there are much better sushi restaurants in Bochum and the surrounding area.

Das Sakura bietet "runnung Sushi" auf 2 Ebenen, wobei nur auf einer Ebene Sushi über das Band läuft. Auf der anderen Ebene werden chinesiche / aiatische, meist warme Kleinigkeiten angeboten. Klingt erstmal interessant, ist aber in vielerlei Hinsicht ein nicht stimmiges Angebot. Wer die beste Auswahl möchte, versucht den Tisch zu bekommen, vor dem die Ware auf das Band gelegt wird. Wer Pech hat, sitzt am Ende dieser Nahrungskette und muss mit dem leben, was die gefühlt 50 Gäste, die vor einem sitzen, übrig lassen. Hotate-Gai kommen am anderen Ende ganz bestimmt nicht mehr an. Das kommt einer Lottorie gleich und garantiert, je nach Sitzplatz, eine deutliche Einschränkung des Angebots ohne Preisreduzierung! OK, es werden sehr viele Convenience-Produkte angeboten und das Sushi... naja. Das hat natürlich überhaupt nichts mit einem authentischen Top-Sushi gemein, aber das kann dort niemand für den geringen Preis erwarten. Wirklich erschreckend ist der Lärmpegel, wenn das Restaurant gefüllt ist. Es ist so unerträglich laut, dass im Tischgespräch die Stimmer erhoben werden muss. Ein paar akustische Raumkorrekturen würden helfen. So entsteht ein gehetztes und stressiges Klima. Die teils sehr ruppigen und unfreundlichen Bedienungen setzten diesem unangehem hektischen Feld lässig die Krone auf. Die Getränkepreise sind teils schlichtweg unverschämt! Natürlich braucht das Sakura einen hohen Durchsatz an Kunden, weil der operative Gewinn über die Quantität der Besucher erwirtschaftet wird. So wird auch schnell klar, warum hier kein Klima herrscht, dass nicht zum verweilen einläd. Nach dem zweiten Besuch werde ich zukünftig auf weitere Besuche verzichten. Das Angebot ist insgesamt von reduzierter Qualität, für den Preis aber soweit akzeptabel. Lärmpegel und Hektik sind einem enstspannten Besuch klar abträglich, die sowieso schon nicht ganz so tolle Qualität des Angebots ist vom Sitzplatz am Band abhängig und ich lass mich als zahlender Gast nur ungern von der Bedienung dumm anpampen. Da das Sakura meint, alle Bewertungen kommentieren zu müssen, bin ich schon jetzt gespannt wie ein Flitzebogen. ;-)

Delicious food with overpriced drinks. It is advisable to make a reservation as the restaurant was very busy. We were there Saturday evening around 5:30 p.m. Price: approx. 27€ for all you can eat (if I don't mind everything) We had: 3x sake (approx. 19.5€), Fanta (?), wheat (?), 2x all you can eat and paid 85€. We were shocked that they charged around €6.50 per sake. Especially since it's only about 100ml.

About the food: The sushi tastes great and is varied! I would rate the warm dishes as good, it's always a matter of taste. All in all, the store is highly recommended and a great experience.

With this staff you can also express your drink requests at the same time. A very tasty and beautiful experience. The customers know this too. That's why it makes sense to reserve a table in advance. If you decide to visit here spontaneously, it may take longer to get a table. The restaurant is almost always very busy.

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime. There was the running sushi to choose from as all you can. Two belts run through the restaurant with hot food at the top and cold food at the bottom. Personally, I missed the attention to detail a little. The sushi was rolled a bit messily. When it comes to hot dishes, lots of fried foods. Somehow I expected more quality and know-how. The cards for the overview of the dishes were dirty and I also lacked an eye for small details. Overall friendly service.

Our first time running sushi, to grab something to eat before Starlight Express (only a few 100m away): The sushi and the other little things were good, the principle was quickly internalized even for newcomers, although sometimes a surprise comes off the assembly line. You notice that the dishes come on the conveyor belt at certain intervals, so you have to "plan" something, and we've had better quality sushi, but Sakura Bochum is definitely a recommendation! The restaurant shares the parking lot with various shops, so parking is not a problem.

Das Konzept 90 Minuten für x Euro verleitet viele dazu nur die ankommen Speisen auf dem Band im Auge zu behalten. Wer eine gute Qualität beim Sushi bevorzugt muss mehr bezahlen.

The real core of the visit, the Running Sushi Buffet, the finely prepared delicacy that in the past has always impressed with its variety and quality, presented itself in a different light this time. The selection, once a proud panorama of seafood, avant-garde rolls and nigiri, seemed to have been reduced to a predominantly vegetarian palette. Although the plant variety is commendable, the limitation felt more like a loss for a connoisseur of maritime delicacies. The quality and size of the sushi also left something to be desired, a sharp contrast to the rich flavor and exquisite presentation I remembered. It's unfortunate to see a gem of sushi art like Sakura show its less bright side on a seemingly ordinary Saturday night. The best sushi all you can eat in our opinion! The waiters are all very friendly and always attentive. The sushi is very fresh and varied, salmon lovers in particular will get their money's worth here. The selection of other warm dishes is also large - everything from mussels, spare ribs to soups and very tasty gyoza. If something is missing from the train buffet, you can simply ask the waiters and it will be specially prepared and brought to the table.

Went to Sakura in Bochum for the first time today. To this day we only knew Sakura from Hagen. The Running Sushi in Bochum is way better than the one in Hagen. There is a lot more choice of all dishes. We will save ourselves the trip to Hagen and now always come to Bochum. Otherwise everything was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly (this is also the case in Hagen). There is plenty of free parking directly in front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately the service was very poor on the last visit! You really have the feeling of mass processing! Maybe it used to be good, but now it's just bad and very expensive in comparison! Great running sushi restaurant. The sushi was super tasty 😋 and the quality was really good. I've already tried a few sushi restaurants and here the quality is very affordable for the price of €17.90 for all you can eat. The salmon nigiri are particularly delicious. The waiter was very nice and also asked if you were missing anything on the tape, so you can also express your wishes. 👍

The store is cool.. small but nice.. advance reservation is an advantage.. although in my opinion there isn't a lot of choice at all you can eat but it's okay to fill your stomach with pleasure..
