YUMINI in Bochum

Sushi tastes good and is fresh, but nothing special. But it would be my first choice here in Bochum. The seats are comfortable and the ambience is also good and seems rather upscale, but unfortunately it doesn't quite come through because of the close proximity to one another. The volume is okay or loud depending on where you sit. What didn't work at all today was a waitress who sneezed into her hand and then just continued without washing her hands. She touched everything from food to drinks and then rubbed her finger under her nose several times. This is really disgusting and has no place in any restaurant.

The quality and price/performance is good. The sushi was well made and tasted very tasty 😋. I really liked the robust concrete/industrial look with the interior 🤗 The highlight is of course ordering from your own tray 🤩 at the table. This means you can order something much more spontaneously, which is definitely in the operator's interests 🤑 😂. I would visit again 👍

Freshly prepared, unfortunately a bit loud. The service is quick but rather simple. The food tastes good and there are many variations. There is also something for guests who don't like fish.

Beautiful modern Asian restaurant with menu selection via tablet. In larger groups this can lead to very confusing moments as all the food just arrives and you have to sort it yourself. The selection is extensive and there is actually something for everyone. Orders are delivered quickly and the staff is friendly. People like to come here to enjoy sushi and other Asian dishes. Nothing is too fancy and everything is suitable for Europeans. Keep light Asian style.

I had dinner there for the first time with a friend. The basic idea is very good. Because everything can be ordered via tablet. The food is delicious, but you have to choose what you want. If you don't know something, you order a portion for two people and share it. The orders came very quickly after being entered into the tablet. There was one drawback and that was the service. It's delivered quickly and so are the drinks, but unfortunately friendliness isn't really part of it, which I think is a shame. In places the food was “thrown” on the table. There is no response to a thank you. For this reason only 3 stars because at least the food and drinks were delivered quickly and correctly.

We were there for the second time yesterday. I had fond memories of the restaurant. We had the all you hab eat menu. On the first visit we noticed that the second portion of beef fillet was no longer beef fillet but a different piece. Yesterday, even the first portion of beef fillet was not fillet but rather steak rump. When asked, the complaint was laughed away and said it was the first time they had heard it. If you offer beef fillet as all you have eaten, then you should serve that too and not take people for a fool and declare steak rump as fillet. I only give one star because of how the staff issue is handled. All in all the food is ok, lots of choice but not cheap either.

I've been to Yumini 3 times and from experience I can say that the food is extremely tasty and, above all, served quickly. I'm vegan myself and I had a relatively good selection. I'm just unsure whether everything was really vegan because it was labeled that way on the iPad. For example, sushi with tamago is ultimately suhis with egg. Overall, would definitely recommend it! Even with friends we only made it to round 4-5 at most.

I only go to the restaurant briefly to pick up an order that I placed through to good to go. It looked very nice, the staff were friendly, the food was very good.

All you can eat, order via tablet, 5 dishes per person every 10 minutes, up to 10 times within 2 hours.

A bit run down, if you don't know anything about Asian food it could be satisfactory. It was very warm and stuffy, as there seemed to be no air conditioning (it was summer), fish wasn't fresh (I could hardly get the salmon down), sushi rice was warm, selection was poor compared to other all-you-can eats. But service was very nice.

The food was carelessly put on the table and we had to distribute it ourselves. The taste of the food was okay.

Today we had a pleasant visit to a sushi place. Overall, everything tasted very good and the service was easy and quick. However, the employees didn't seem particularly friendly and some people looked at me strangely. This could be because it was late in the evening and everyone was already exhausted. The bright white light from above wasn't particularly pleasant either. With the all-you-can-eat offer, you could have at least offered water or other drinks for free, as the price of over 30 euros is quite high. Still, the dishes were delicious and I would give the whole thing a solid 7 out of 10.

We have loved Yumini for many years. It started in Dortmund, but we quickly stayed in Bochum. The welcome was very nice. The food was very tasty. The ambience is really stylish. The toilets are clean and tidy. The price is reasonable. And now to the staff: Anyone who compares the conditions to a plated restaurant has not understood where they are. It's always full and the boys and girls are really on their toes and never unfriendly or anything like that. I don't go anywhere with the thought: The customer is king But: As it calls into the forest, it echoes out! I would like to thank the whole team 🙏

If it works, I wouldn't go there again. You go there specifically to eat delicious food and not put something old in your mouth. There are more delicious restaurants than that

Wir wollte zum Best Friends aber es war leider zu. Dann haben wir diese Rest gefunden und haben es ausprobiert… Irgendwie alles luxuriös dekoriert aber das Essen war das Gegenteil… Service katastrophal! Keine redet wenn man eine Frage hat geht nicht weil kaum von der Service sprechen deutsch… auch nicht um einfach „bitte“ oder „Danke“ zu sagen.., ziemlich unhöflich.., Nicht wirklich frisch…. Es ist zwar ein „all You can eat“ aber es darf etwas leckere sein. Sauberkeit haben wir an den WC vermisst… die Schuhe blieben kleben beim laufen in die Herren WC und der Urin Duft hat das abgerundet… Wie kommen sicher nicht mehr hin…

Great sushi shop where you can easily order your food using a tablet. If the store is full it can take a while for the order to arrive, so I would recommend ordering immediately if you can order again after 10 minutes. Staff very friendly

If you like Asian cuisine, you have to eat here. Ordering with the tablet is child's play, the orders come very quickly, highly recommended! Overall, a very good restaurant with a great ambience.

You order the food you want on your tablet. Everyone can order 5 items every 15 minutes. The food comes to the table very quickly, very fresh and hot and is very tasty!! Let yourself be surprised 😉 Little tip: Take your time to eat. Too much sushi at the beginning will fill you up quite quickly if you still want to try all the other delicious things 😉 Even if it's tempting to order again every 15 minutes, the new order comes quite quickly and then it piles up on the table and it becomes stressful 😅 Been there twice now, I was very satisfied and would love to come back 👍👍👍🥰

We regularly have lunch at Yumini Bochum. It's always super tasty, fresh and varied, the service is friendly and fast. Highly Recommended!

The staff was friendly and accommodating, contrary to what some negative reviews might suggest. The food, however, was just average. It was OK, but lacked that special something that makes a special sushi experience. Nevertheless, you can spend a nice evening here in a pleasant atmosphere.

I’d like to say the coworker is very racist against Koreans . I’m writing this review with my real name . I visited there several times . The lady served me last time mezo mix even though I didn’t ordered it after she asked me if I’m Korean . I thought it’s a service . I drank a little bit and she asked me to pay for it for 300-400ml mezo mix . It’s just a can of beverage. I said it’s weird then she called her boss and he also said I have to pay for it . Today I went to there with my friend . We are both South Koreans . They didn’t give us tablet to order food for a long time even though we came earlier than other ‘German’ customers . After it we were about to pay . Then she came to us then went to other ‘German’ customers immediately even though we didn’t pay yet . What happened next is she gave to my friend her card device then asked to her to press the price herself on the bill what she ate . Then asked me 3 times if I’m gonna pay her tips We needed to calculate by ourselves , were on talking each other in Korean then she said she doesn’t understand at all and if I’m able to speak German . I ordered a bottle of ice tee and it costed about 4,20€ for a bottle , it’s quite expensive , we were full . I wanted to take the bottle outside and drink the rest later and she said I have to drink it in the restaurant because of Pfand . I mean I understand if she doesn’t like South Koreans but she shouldn’t bring it to her work . The service was totally ridiculous. Sorry but I won’t go there ever in my life again .

We've been to Yumini several times and the food is always delicious. The time frame of 2 hours is completely sufficient. Ordering food is done via a tablet. I would always recommend booking on the weekend. There are also high chairs for children.

Good tablet sushi restaurant at Bermuda3eck Bochum. The selection of food is good and the tablet for ordering works. The service is attentive and clears empty plates quickly. New orders come quickly and are hot. For grilled dishes, it is advisable to avoid the sauces. The baked ice cream for dessert is sinful :D

We were at Yumini for the first time today, actually we had only heard good things, unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit. Service was very bad, we didn't even hear a "hello" and half of what we ordered never came to the sushi It was OK, just like the other dishes, but no wow, there are definitely better places, the location itself looks nice, unfortunately not much more! That was the first and last time we visited this place.

Food very tasty. I have to say sushi in yumini Dortmund is better. But the service here is better than that in Dortmund. Very rude employees in Dortmund.

Was delicious. The only drawback was that we were sitting right next to the kitchen where it was hard to have a conversation and the time was entered incorrectly on our tablets so we were expecting half an hour more and were almost interrupted. Otherwise, gladly again 😊

Yumini = Yumiiiiiii never again! The operation was absolutely impossible. You wait in vain for a greeting. We waited a few minutes for friends and then we were told that we would be thrown out after two hours if new people were at the front. Even if we haven't activated the tablet yet. Although some tables around us were free. Conclusion: Don't go to the store if you don't start eating right away. The ambience was set up to “would like to be chic” - everything looked a bit cheap and it was very dark. The tables were separated by plastic partitions so that you could clearly hear everything from the other people and sit next to each other. Overall, all the waiters who brought something to the table were stressed. Some dishes we ordered didn't arrive either. We wanted to swap a small bottle of water for a large one. We were very rudely told not to do this and recommended that we order a small one. The drinks were simply quickly placed at the front of the table. It was never asked who got it. Empty food plates were also not taken away. Some of the waiters were dressed as if they were just going to the supermarket. There was also no proper dress code. Which underlined the handling and indifference of a quick snack. But even the MC D employees have uniform hygienic clothing and say good day. The toilets were generally very dark, as was the ambience. But that couldn't hide the fact that it was very dirty there. It stank and the doors were broken. We usually eat at Gelsenkirchen Yumini but yesterday we tried Bochum for first time. Im sorry but it wasnt a nice experience. First there was no parking spot you should find yourself there. When we go Yumini we usually eat so many Sushi but ate half what i eat normally. Warms were really nice tho. Also i believe kitchen was a bit slow, waiters and waitresses were faster. Honestly it wasnt awful but for the price you gotta improve this unit accordingly. As sum up P/P is low

Cozy atmosphere and good food. Even though I like to try everything, which is perfect in small bowls, I'm no longer a fan of all-you-can-eat because then you usually eat more than you're actually hungry for. We felt like we were pushed a bit in that direction, hence the star deduction.

The lunch price is completely reasonable. The reduced selection is still more than sufficient. The sushi comes immediately after ordering and is therefore not fresh. Meat, fish and vegetables take longer and are therefore only fried to order.

We were there on Friday with a reservation. Nevertheless we had to wait 10 minutes in front of the door. The service is very hectic and it is very loud in the restaurant. Comfortable is different. The food is mostly prepared and is reminiscent of a classic Chinese buffet. You can smell the deep fryers throughout the restaurant. 31 EUR for a buffet of this quality is simply too expensive. Preferably service -5 stars! Our food was almost thrown on the table in front of us, like “eat it”. The plates were cleared from the table so hastily that the remains that were on the plate occasionally fell onto the table. The female waiter quickly noticed that the fake smile was only intended to get a tip. Because as soon as we paid, all the friendliness disappeared and our receipt was dropped on our table (literally) with a quiet "bye"

Das Essen war geschmacklich echt hervorragend. Die Bestellung per Tablett ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Gerichte wurden jedoch recht schnell serviert. Allerdings kann man, wenn man zu mehreren Personen bestellt, schonmal leicht den Überblick verlieren, wenn die Speisen serviert werden. Was das Preisniveau angeht so würde ich es schon unter die Rubrik Gehoben verbuchen, was jedoch in Anbetracht der Qualität und der Menge der Speisen in Ordnung geht. Das bedienende Personal wechselte ständig. So wurde von freundlich bis gestresst die ganze Palette geboten. Daher reicht es eben nicht ganz für die volle Sternzahl. Ich würde trotzdem gerne wieder dorthin essen gehen.

Essen schlecht teilweise ungenießbar laden total ranzig und dreckig von der bedienung will ich gar nicht erst sprechen. Ich würde nicht einmal umsonst dort nochmal essen gehen. Kann die positiven rezensionen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen.

Interessantes Konzept, 10 mal 5 Kleinigkeiten per Tablet bestellen, Sushi; Asien-Food, Fisch und Fleisch, Eis zum Dessert. Wir waren nach 5 Runden schon pappsatt, Teilweise sehr lecker und gute Qualität. Leider kommt nicht immer alles heiss und in einer logischen Reihenfolge. Nach zwei Stunden "TimeOut" die nächsten Gäste warten schon - logisch am Samstagabend. Service nett und bemüht, nicht alle deutschsprachig.

Einrichtung: Die Einrichtung ist wirklich schön. Es wirkt Recht hochwertig. Allerdings stinkt es auf den Toiletten und es ist sehr laut, weil die Bedienung mit den Tellern laut klappert und häufiger etwas runterwirft. Service: Wie schon erwähnt, Recht laut. Wir würden nach längerer Wartezeit zum Tisch gebracht, wo das Warten weiterging. Irgendwann kam dann eine Kellnerin und richtete uns wortlos das Tablet ein. Unsere Getränke bekamen wir erst am Ende der zweiten Runde und vor allem nach den anderen Gästen, die nach uns kamen. Ein großer Nachbartisch bekam mehrfach unsere Speisen und fraß sie genüsslich auf. Wir gingen leer aus. Warme Gerichte kamen sowieso Recht spät. Essen: Alles in Ordnung, aber nicht besonders liebevoll hergerichtet und keine große Auswahl. Fazit: Wir bevorzugen die Dortmunder Sushirestaurants und werden nicht mehr herkommen.

Leider enttäuschend.. das Restaurant ist viel zu overhyped.. zu einem besonderen Anlass haben wir zur zweit einen Tisch reserviert. Angekommen am Restaurant wurden wir durch eine lange Schlange auf der Straße überrascht. Das hat den Eindruck gemacht, es wäre ein gutes gefragtes Restaurant. Vorne sah es sehr ansehnlich aus im Restaurant. Dann aber hat man uns in einen Raum nach hinten gebracht.. der Raum hatte vielleicht 20qm und war mit Menschen und Tischen vollgestopft. Es war kalt, ungemütlich und man konnte das Essen nicht genießen. Sowas anzubieten als Raum zum speisen geht garnicht.. das Essen war teilweise gut, teilweise aber auch kalt. Die Kellner waren sehr schnell und das bestellen mit dem Tablet war sehr verständlich. Fazit. Kann man machen, würden wir aber nicht mehr. Sehr enttäuschender Abend. Für den Preis bekommt man wo anders mehr und schöneres Ambiente.

Wir lieben es hier und kommen immer wieder. Mittags ist es auch nicht zu teuer, das Konzept gefällt mit und das Essen ist super, vor allem das Sushi und der gebratene Lachs. 🤤

Essen war gut, obwohl bereits fertig vorbereitet. Man hat das Gefühl das man auf Massenabfertigung getrimmt ist. Man bestellt per Tablet und nach wenigen Minuten wird einem das Bestellte kommentarlos auf den Tisch gestellt. Service daher etwas lieblos und das Gesamterlebnis leidet darunter. Die Speisen werden im Tablet kaum bis gar nicht beschrieben insbesondere bei den Sushi Menüs. Preise sind human

In diesem Restaurant geht es wohl hauptsächlich darum, viele Gäste abzufertigen. Service schlecht. Außerdem hatten wir eher das Gefühl im Club nebenan zu sitzen, so laut schallte die Musik in den kahlen und ungemütlichen Raum. 4 Daumen runter.

Bucătari nu port mănuși. Și multe altele.nu stiu cum își permit sa aducă oameni la negru sa ii tina la munca fără acte deci fără nici măcar un act .cazarea lor zici ca stai la.gunoaie foarte mute nereguli toți cei care va duceți acolo sa știți ca nimic nu proaspăt mâncați cartofi congelați și care congelata de 3 ,4 luni .fără termen de valabilitate. Budinca aia care o face o face cu lapte stricat și expirat de citeva luni .pofta buna toți care va duceți aici .

Geht lieber nach Dortmund. Kein Vergleich, alles veraltet, keiner spricht Deutsch, weniger Auswahl, Essen schmeckt leider auch nicht besonders.. das erste mal beim Buffet auf Dessert verzichtet.

Essen OK aber nichts besonderes

Toogoodtogo - die Service war unmöglich und hat in seiner Sprache über uns gelästert. Man fragt etwas auf Deutsch und bekommt die Antwort auf völlig andere Sprache. Als wir dann verwundert geguckt haben hat er dann mit seinen Kollegen weiterhin auf andere Sprache über uns geredet.

Sehr schneller Service, sehr schönes Restaurant und gutes Essen. Super geeignet für Events (Geburtstage etc.), da sie auch mit ihrer Auswahl glänzen. Definitv besser als die durchschnittle Buffet Qualitäty jedoch auch keine wahnsinnige Sensation, was die Qualität des Essens betrifft

Die letzten Gerichte waren recht liebelos zusammengestellt

Trotz unserer vorherigen Reservierung wurden wir enttäuscht, als wir feststellten, dass der zugewiesene Platz für die Anzahl unserer Gruppe viel zu klein war, wodurch wir wortwörtlich in der Ecke eingequetscht wurden. Die Wartezeit für jede Bestellung mit dem Tablet war unverhältnismäßig lang, uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass man an diesen Tag/Abend angeblich WLAN-Probleme hatte und die Bestellung nicht angekommen sind. Seltsamerweise erhielten andere Gäste ihre Bestellungen problemlos und regelmäßig. Über einen Zeitraum von zwei Stunden erhielten wir lediglich zwei Runden an Bestellungen. Das Personal war äußerst unhöflich und schien stark überfordert zu sein. Anfragen und Beschwerden wurden ignoriert und die Kellner sind teils sogar kommentarlos weggegangen. Ein Mitarbeiter an der Theke lachte uns sogar aus und schlug vor, dass wir selbst in der Küche nachfragen sollten. Ich habe noch nie einen derart schlechten Service erlebt und werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Wer frittiertes- und Fresstempel mag,wird das Yumini lieben. Beim Sushi schwankte die Qualität zwischen "riecht unangenehm intensiv nach Fisch" zu tadellos und lecker. Der Service,war bis auf 2 Ausnahmen,wortkarg. Das Ambiente ist Ok,aber zweckmäßig.

Schönes und leckeres Restaurant! Essen und Getränke werden uber Tablet bestellt und sind in ein paar Minuten auch schon serviert. Reservieren ist meistens erforderlich.

Sushireis trocken, alles bereits in Masse vorbereitet, Teig nicht gut. Für einen teebeutel alias "frischer tee" 4,10 Euro.

Einfach unglaublich, das Yumini. Tolles Ambiente, super nette und schnelle Bedienung. Ich bin vom Sushi-Vermeider zum Sushi-Lover geworden. Wir werden regelmäßig wiederkommen.

Essen ist top und kommt auch bei viel Kundschaft schnell, nur sollte man nicht mit 5 Leuten kommen, hab zwei mal einen zu kleinen Tisch bekommen

Preiswert, aber gutes Essen 10 Runden auf 2 Stunden und mit 2 Personen kann man 10 Optionen pro Runde bestellen. Mehr als 5 Runden schafft man sowieso nicht. Tee und Essen top.

Wie immer sehr lecker, schnelle Umsetzung der Bestellung per Tablet.

Hier bin ich immer wieder gerne. Sehr gutes Sushi mit vielen anderen netten Snacks, wie etwa Algensalat oder Garnelenspieße. Auch das Eis ist echt super. Danke!

Yemekler lezzetli ve çeşit olarak çok fazlaydı. Tatlılar daha iyi olabilir ama sunumlar çok güzeldi. İçeçekler çok pahalıydı.. özel günlerde tercih edilebilecek bir mekan. pazartesi-salı-çarşamba- perşembe fiyatlar daha uygun olan zamanlarda tercih edilebilir.

Das Sushi Restaurant, dass ich am meisten aufsuche und nie bereue. Sehr lecker, schneller Service, Preis dafür absolut in Ordnung. Einziges Manko ist, dass in manchen Teilen des Ladens die Tische was zu nah beieinander stehen.
