Very nice restaurant. Great interior, very good sushi, nice service. Reservation recommended because it is not very big. Always worth a visit for a nice evening.

🌸 I really liked the whole vibe, the interior and especially the music:) The food was also very delicious! The non alcoholic cocktails were delicious and the Butter Tofu dish was also good, the veggie sushi with the crunchy roll was super crispy. The mochis were absolutely delicious, especially the matcha flavoured one:) The only thing that bothered me was, that we needed to wait really long for our food:( That's why I would only give ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for service, even though the staff was really nice and friendly! All in all I'd recommend!

2 Star deduction because we waited an hour before our food came out. We didn’t even order main courses and it was on a Thursday. At least the food was very good and I can definitely recommend the Matcha Crème Brûlée! The ambience is also very nice.

❗️❗️❗️We were there on October 18th, 2024 at 6 p.m. The waitress initially said that it wasn't a problem that we didn't have a reservation. However, when my wife came through the door (she is wearing a headscarf), they suddenly said that it was full and that the guests would be arriving soon. However, there were at least five tables available. She offered to get us a table at 10pm instead. But since we had a bad feeling, we called after 10 minutes by phone and gave the name “KELLER”. Suddenly there was a table available at 6:30pm and we were told we could come over. We then confronted the lady that we had been there 10 minutes ago and she said it was full until 10 p.m. She suddenly said that some guests had canceled and therefore a table was now available. It's really sad to be treated so racistally in a country where you grew up, went to school and do everything you can to contribute to society. (FYI: It certainly wasn't our clothing style - we were elegantly dressed.) ❗️❗️❗️

We celebrated a birthday there. There was something for everyone. The food was very tasty. Service was very top. We were served by Mr. Kevin, who was very nice and served us very well. We were also invited to the house for drinks, which was really great of you. We will definitely come back and with pleasure.

The waitresses were quite annoyed and bored and unfortunately it took a really long time until we got our food. The sushi and tartare were very good, the octopus was unfortunately a bit tough and the tofu summer rolls lacked flavor. But overall we were mostly satisfied

The sushi and the ambience were a dream!!! The waiters were also super friendly! You won't be disappointed here.

Location was very beautiful, the decoration was extraordinary, the cherry blossom trees were the highlight. We had the Sushi Chrunchy Rolls which we can recommend. Overall, this restaurant was great!

I’ve been to sakimo several times. Reserving online has always gone smoothly. Service was all the times excellent, very attentive and sweet. The food is presented perfectly and is delicious. I am very happy to come back here anytime.

Crunchy sushi were great. Cocktails ok. Very nice service. Sitting outside is nice, currently somewhat restricted by scaffolding, but there's nothing they can do about it.

The wait was far too long, the restaurant was empty and yet we were hardly served. The waiter came out far too rarely. We waited almost 1 hour for our food. Sushi was okay but the price/performance ratio wasn't right. The main course of crispy curry chicken was incredibly disgusting, not seasoned at all, the sauce was slimy yellow and had zero taste. The meat was full of cartilage. So not worth it for the price.

Actually an aesthetic restaurant with good food BUT the waiting times and service are absurdly bad. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and another 40 minutes for our food. There was no apology for this, nor was it at least mentioned that it would take some time. Even after we requested the bill, it was forgotten, after 15 minutes of waiting, we mentioned it again to the same "service" person who didn't apologize in any way for the obvious forgetting of the bill. We will never come here again and advise everyone we know not to eat there. It's a shame because the food is quite good!

Mega sushi, great service and prices very reasonable. The ambience also fits very well - you feel a little like you're in Japan during the cherry blossom season.... Gladly again

Das Restaurant hat eine super Lage wenn man etwas früher da ist kann man super nochmal runter an die Isar und ein Stückchen laufen. Das Essen und der Service waren perfekt meiner Meinung nach die Getränke und das Essen waren super schnell da. Die Portionen sind auch genau richtig gewesen. Die Einrichtung war auch sehr schön hat super zum Ambiente gepasst. Also alles rund um top.

Came here to eat after the Adele concert yesterday. I have to say the service was great, even though we came at 11 p.m., the food was absolutely fresh and tasted great. We will definitely stop by again next time we visit Munich. Thank you!

We ate here on a Friday evening (it's best to reserve in advance). We ordered a sushi variation and were definitely not disappointed. It tasted super tasty and fresh!

Been here for the second time and very satisfied. The chefs selected a selection of starters + sushi. There really is something for every taste here, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, a few of the starters were only lukewarm, but everything else was great. Very nice and courteous service, nice ambience under (artificial) cherry blossoms :)

Das Restaurant ist wunderschön. Das Personal ist freundlich und achtet auf die Bemerkungen und Wünschen der Reservierungen. Das Essen war geschenksvoll und mega lecker. Die Preise waren mehr als in Ordnung. Ich kann mich nicht mehr erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal ein Lillet für 7€ bekommen habe. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut, es gab eine Wahl für jeder, alle zwischen 6€ und 12€.

Süßes Restaurant mit angenehmer Lage, Top Ambiente, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal und leckeres Sushi. Empfehlenswerte Litschischorle. Preis-Leistung is okay, münchner preisklasse halt, würde aber für gegeben Anlass wiederkommen und das gleiche bezahlen.

Very nice atmosphere, difficult with a stroller and is very hot inside. The food didn't come until almost 1 1/2 hours later. It was delicious and freshly prepared. One waitress is super friendly, the other is not. If you don't have to wait long, recommended.

Excellent fusion cuisine made from very good sushi and meat. Very good cocktails and really good and friendly service. We particularly recommend the duck rolls and the butterfish. We will definitely come back.

Enttäuschend und völlig überteuert. Selten so langweilige Gerichte serviert bekommen. Bei 5 Leuten war nicht ein ansprechendes Erlebnis dabei. Und dann ist es nicht mal günstig. Sehr seltsames Publikum, scheint mehr ein Treffpunkt für junge Leute zu sein als ein auf tolles Essen ausgerichtetes Restaurant. Zwei mal probiert, zwei mal reingefallen, daher nie wieder.

Very nicely decorated and the food was really tasty, the service was a bit slow but that was probably because it was relatively full. Definitely come here again.

We went for dinner on the recommendation of an acquaintance after making an online reservation and the truth is that we were not disappointed. Very cozy place, with careful decoration, having family dinner under a blooming Sakura and tasting its products awakens the 5 senses. Good quality/price ratio 💯. Without a doubt we will repeat our next visit to Munich.

Not recommended. Waiting over 2 hours for expensive food is not worth it. Unfortunately very disappointed as everyone at the table had already finished and the sushi was served almost 30 minutes after the other main courses. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. For the money you can find more competent and better sushi restaurants in Munich.

Man hat 1.5 Stunden auf sein Essen gewartet. Alle am Tisch hatten ihr Essen außer eine Person, diese hat ihr Essen erhalten als bereits alle anderen fertig waren. Service leider sehr mangelhaft, war mein letzter Besuch dort! Kann ich leider niemanden empfehlen.

My favorite restaurant for Asian food!! I've been to Sakimo several times with friends and we've all always been very satisfied. I can highly recommend the tapas with salmon or tuna, and sushi is always great too. It tastes so fresh and good. The avocado curry and Thai curry with crispy chicken are my favorite dishes with rice. And you also have to try the mango sorbet and matcha ice cream.

I really wanted to enjoy this place fully. The sushi rolls are a good size and the cuts of fish are tasty. The BIG problem is that they really ruin their own food by DRENCHING all of the sushi - even the nigiri - in a truly disgusting amount of mayonnaise. It really is so sad and completely ruins the flavors of the fish. The interior is cute and staff was very nice. But with the price point and the mayonnaise I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for authentic sushi.

Really a very nice restaurant! With a very friendly staff. I celebrated my birthday here. There were five of us in a booth, the waiter offered to add a table but we had enough space. The octopus balls were a dream, sushi is also very tasty and unusual. The soups are also very good. The summer rolls are very fresh and delicious. However, the drinks were saved, they were pretty diluted. I had a Lillet but they only brought me half a glass and it was diluted. I also asked about candles when making the reservation, but they probably didn't read that. We spent €500 for 6 people. Not cheap, but very tasty and ideal for special occasions.

Expensive and inexpensive. If you want to know how Thai basil can be used in a culinary way, try the Thai duck salad! For bean counters: beer a tad too warm, espresso a tad too cold.

By far my favorite restaurant when it comes to quality and exceptional sushi! Service is courteous and the atmosphere is pleasant (especially when seated under the cherry blossoms). I can especially recommend the strawberry sushi and the octopus. The dishes and the furnishings have a big wow effect, so people often ask about the location on social media. Definitely a recommendation for me and worth a visit!

The food was ok, however the service was not very good. The waitress's face was so dissatisfied and embittered that I didn't want to return to this restaurant. The other waitresses weren't welcoming or friendly either. For that kind of money you want to be served by friendly waiters.

Visually and tastefully very good, sometimes exceptional sushi. The grilled octopus is almost mandatory. 😉 The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is quick even when it's busy. We got our order within about 15 minutes. There was no sign of the extremely long waiting times reported by previous reviews. The now widespread concept that you only have a table for 2 hours is somewhat disrupting the food. We also find the 2-person tables to be significantly too small and poorly placed in the room.

The restaurant is very busy, you should definitely make a reservation. The food tasted great and was beautifully prepared. You should allow some time as it sometimes takes a while due to the many guests.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. We made reservations and were able to have the table for 2 hours. We enjoyed the maki rolls as well as a few of their specialty sushi rolls. I recommend the tuna tataki.

I am very disappointed, unfortunately no recommendation. Great restaurant, good food, unfortunately incompetent service. Dishes that were supposed to be gluten-free according to the first statement were not gluten-free after double inquiries; Due to the back and forth of the uninformed staff, I ate 30 minutes later than everyone else at the table. We were asked if we wanted to order another dessert - oh, please don't order anything else, because your table only leaves for 10 minutes. No accomodation when it came to the bill because I had to eat late for ages and had to ask countless times whether the food was really gluten-free. If I had eaten what was served to me first, things would have ended badly. I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time, customer orientation is different. Very unfortunate.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Empfehle immer zu viert zu reservieren da die zweier Plätze sehr platzoptimiert wurden so dass man nur im 90 Grad Winkel am Tisch sitzt da sonst keine Bedienung mehr vorbei kommt.

It was ok, but there is even tastier sushi in Munich. The decoration with the lamps directly above the face, where the light comes directly into the eyes, was unpleasant. It was ok for once.

Essen war wie immer hervorragend. Nur war bei diesem Besuch die Wartezeit auf das Essen etwas lang und Leute die nach uns kamen haben früher ihr Essen bekommen als wir was ich auch komisch fand.
