Everything was top-notch. Super friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The food tasted divine. And the mocktails were the most delicious I've ever had.

The ambience and food are good (if a little expensive), but what is unacceptable is that the waitress spoke little to no German, which led to misunderstandings in the aisles about how we wanted our food.

I ate at the restaurant on Sunday evening and ordered the chili chicken. Unfortunately, the meat was old and tough, and the flavor was not at all satisfying—truly disappointing for the price. The service was very friendly, but I didn't get full and still had to pay the full price. A real shame—sadly, my last visit.

It was delicious! We often eat sushi at KaDeWe in Berlin. But last night topped everything! Freshness, quality, and very friendly service! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Munich!

The food and the atmosphere are great. The only downside is the price, but the delicious food is worth it. If you want some Asian food, you should definitely try this place. The waiters and everything else are really great and create a very pleasant atmosphere.

The portion sizes are a bit too small for the price. Don't let the exterior put you off. Dogs are allowed, even inside. I'd find it difficult to accommodate large dogs, as the aisles are quite narrow.

A very modern restaurant with extremely good food. I don't understand the complaints about the wait time. Our food arrived quickly (15-20 minutes maximum). Even though the prices may seem quite high at first glance, it's definitely worth it! I especially recommend the Alaska roll. The ambiance is modern, yet cozy, and the service was very friendly. For my main course, I had the red vegetable curry and shared the sushi with my boyfriend, and I was very full. Of course, I still managed to fit in the sesame ice cream 😉 The restrooms were also clean.

The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced. The seating is very comfortable, but as a group of seven, we understandably waited a bit longer for our food. I highly recommend it.

It was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented, so even a bit of a wait wasn't a problem. -You can feel the quality in the price, although it is a bit on the expensive side. -The drinks (Virgin Blackberry Mojito & Strawberry Seven) were also very good. -The decor and ambiance are something special. My absolute favorite restaurant in Munich! I'm a regular at Sakimo and have never been disappointed. The sushi is always fresh and excellently prepared, and the hot dishes are always a delight. The service is friendly, attentive, and personal—you just feel welcome. A definite recommendation!

We waited 45 minutes for our food even though there were only two tables inside and we were the only ones sitting on the terrace. There were four people inside waiting to be served but oh well. Unfortunately the food wasn't worth the wait. The crunchy roll wasn't crunchy at all and the tempura had been fried a long time ago and was no longer crispy. The best thing was the fish taco. The octopus was cut so thin that it didn't have any crunch and you couldn't taste the grilled aroma. It was really nice inside but we decided to eat outside maybe that was a mistake because then you can concentrate more on the food. So I won't be back and for €81 it really wasn't worth it either. UNFORTUNATELY!

The food is good, but unfortunately not worth the exorbitant prices. It's simply nothing special. Eight crispy tuna rolls cost €20 and don't even contain raw fish. The service was quite good, but unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes for our main course after the appetizer. We wouldn't come again.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with Japanese cherry trees. Very cozy atmosphere and enough space for groups. Extremely friendly service throughout the entire evening. The food was a poem. Highly recommended if you love sushi.

Very nice restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The food was also very tasty. Service was also super nice. The only star deduction is actually just for that. If you make a reservation you have to make room after 2 hours. In my opinion, that's not enough to enjoy a nice evening. Depending on what you order, you also have to take into account the preparation until the food is served.

Food is very good, very long wait, 50 minutes for a weeknight dinner. Otherwise it's ok.

We dined last night at Sushi 8 and opted for the chef's selection for four. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared, with a nice variety of fish. Some pieces were delicious, while others lacked a little originality. The presentation was meticulous. The service was efficient and relatively fast, if a little impersonal. The restaurant's atmosphere is modern and pleasant... except that the effect was somewhat spoiled by the presence of influencers looking for content, more busy posing than enjoying their meals!

Unfortunately the service was absolutely not satisfactory. We were a group of 12 girls and unfortunately we waited a little more than an hour for our food. Way too long. Drinks didn't come until after 30 minutes. Used starter plates were only cleared upon request. When the dishes finally arrived, they weren't served with rice. We waited another 10 minutes for the rice. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to enjoy it with cold food when the rice finally arrived. The food itself was delicious. Unfortunately the service is not.

We ate some of the best sushi in town here. The main course was very, very good. Sufficient portions for the price with lots of fresh vegetables. Service also 1+.

Sakimo is a really nice place with a great ambiance—perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The service was okay, nothing outstanding, but the food more than made up for it. The quality and flavors were absolutely incredible—every dish was packed with taste and beautifully prepared. Definitely recommend, especially for a date night!

Excellent food with very friendly service and in a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. We had a great evening and would love to come back. The only minus point was the temperature, it was very cool and it made you feel a bit cold.

The restaurant was nicely decorated, staff is very kind and the meal is delightful. One thing that we were relatively disappointed was the choice of table we were shown, given that we had a reservation. It was next to door and kind of tight. Normally we wouldn’t mind that too much had it not been my girlfriend’s birthday, but I guess we had to mention that in reservation note. All in all, it is a nice restaurant.

An honest review: Nice restaurant, nice service. Unfortunately, the waiting time was about 2 hours (drinks arrived 20 minutes after ordering, food 2 hours after ordering). The restaurant was full, but more staff are definitely needed in the service and in the kitchen. These waiting times are apparently not really an exception if you read the reviews. We were also here twice, the first time we waited over 1.5 hours for the food. It was also noticed afterwards that, for example, instead of the chicken, the duck was charged, which is €2 more expensive, but it was chicken. I think it's a shame because I see a lot of potential, the food was very tasty but unfortunately you feel a bit ripped off and the waiting time is unreasonable.

Biggest juice shop. We were there at 8 p.m. and got our drinks at 9 p.m. Our food arrived at 9:30 p.m. We wanted sushi without avocado. She said no problem but it was still there. Just shit

Super essen, lediglich die Wartezeit war mit über 1 h echt lang. Am Anfang wurde uns gesagt, dass unsere Reservierung nur 1,5 h ist, aber auf Grund der langen Wartezeit und war der Tisch wohl im Beschluss frei 😅

Waren um 20.00 da. Um 21.00 kamen dann unsere getränke die wir eine halbe stunde davor bestellt haben. Das vorspeise kam dann erst um 21.30.

An sich sehr schön und gute Atmosphäre. Essen war auch gut und zum Preis auch gerechtfertigt. Das einzige was störend war, waren das da jugendliche essen waren und Lautstark geredet haben und zudem hat sich ein Mädchen erlaubt ihr Pulli ausziehen und rum zu schreien wie gut sie doch aussieht. Daher gibt es leider Minuspunkt daher das man sie direkt aufmerksam machen hätte sollen. Ansonsten sehr gut und für den Preis gerechtfertigt.

Es gibt einige gute Sushiläden in München. Das Sakimo aber ist herausragend! Sehr angenehmes gedimmtes Ambiente, besonders im hinteren Bereich. Keine unangenehm laut "Hintergrund"-Musik die einen zwingt sich permanent anschreien zu müssen. Service ist superaufmerksam und immer am Ball. Gutes Publikum. Eher jung und cool, was mich absolut nicht stört, auch wenn ich selbst nicht mehr jung und schon gar nicht cool bin.

Zij ersten mal in München und somit auch zum ersten mal bei SAKIMO, war super als sushi kenner welt weit bietet SAKIMO eine verfeinte auswahl von sushi und gerichte und von Japanische getränke, bediening sehr gut und atmosfäre auch.

I really liked it! It was very atmospheric and beautiful (we took a lot of beautiful photos). I had a good rest and ate. The food was very tasty. And I especially liked the matcha creme brulee!

We have reserved. We still had to change our ways several times; for organizational reasons. The waiter puts my jacket away and it ends up on the floor. He sees it but doesn't apologize. The other waiter (slim and with glasses) was much friendlier and professional. We had to wait a very long time for our food. The food is really good, no question! But really overpriced. My daughter asked me that we go there. But I wouldn't go there again. Conclusion: For the money there are much better restaurants with better service in Munich.

Hervorragende Atmosphäre und sehr leckeres Essen! Die Gabeln liegen aber sehr schlecht in der Hand... Wir fanden es überraschend günstig, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Man muss lange Zeit aufs Essen warten, aber es lohnt sich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Wir würden empfehlen, eine Reservierung zu machen, da alle Tische besetzt waren (und wir waren am Dienstag da).

Zu Stoßzeiten ist Bedienung leider ziemlich vergesslich/verplant. Tische sind nur 2h reserviert, was über diese App läuft, was ich als sehr unangenehm und ungesellig empfinde. Sonst war alles top. Das Sushi war der Wahnsinn.

Der Service war auf Zack, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente war ein asiatischer Traum… sehr gemütlich. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis top! Alles sehr köstlich… die Drinks sowie das Essen. Wir waren rund um zufrieden :D

Das Essen war unglaublich gut. Allerdings haben wir über eine Stunde auf unser essen gewartet, welches dann zum Teil auch falsch gekommen ist. Wir haben eine Runde Getränke aufs Haus bekommen, allerdings sind 70 Minuten auf das Essen warten, einfach zu lang. Außerdem war der Service eher semi gut. Das essen war trotzdem sehr sehr lecker! Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass das Restaurant einen Besuch wert ist, allerdings muss man sich auf eine längere Wartezeit einstellen.

🌸 I really liked the whole vibe, the interior and especially the music:) The food was also very delicious! The non alcoholic cocktails were delicious and the Butter Tofu dish was also good, the veggie sushi with the crunchy roll was super crispy. The mochis were absolutely delicious, especially the matcha flavoured one:) The only thing that bothered me was, that we needed to wait really long for our food:( That's why I would only give ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for service, even though the staff was really nice and friendly! All in all I'd recommend!

2 Star deduction because we waited an hour before our food came out. We didn’t even order main courses and it was on a Thursday. At least the food was very good and I can definitely recommend the Matcha Crème Brûlée! The ambience is also very nice.

❗️❗️❗️We were there on October 18th, 2024 at 6 p.m. The waitress initially said that it wasn't a problem that we didn't have a reservation. However, when my wife came through the door (she is wearing a headscarf), they suddenly said that it was full and that the guests would be arriving soon. However, there were at least five tables available. She offered to get us a table at 10pm instead. But since we had a bad feeling, we called after 10 minutes by phone and gave the name “KELLER”. Suddenly there was a table available at 6:30pm and we were told we could come over. We then confronted the lady that we had been there 10 minutes ago and she said it was full until 10 p.m. She suddenly said that some guests had canceled and therefore a table was now available. It's really sad to be treated so racistally in a country where you grew up, went to school and do everything you can to contribute to society. (FYI: It certainly wasn't our clothing style - we were elegantly dressed.) ❗️❗️❗️

We celebrated a birthday there. There was something for everyone. The food was very tasty. Service was very top. We were served by Mr. Kevin, who was very nice and served us very well. We were also invited to the house for drinks, which was really great of you. We will definitely come back and with pleasure.

The waitresses were quite annoyed and bored and unfortunately it took a really long time until we got our food. The sushi and tartare were very good, the octopus was unfortunately a bit tough and the tofu summer rolls lacked flavor. But overall we were mostly satisfied

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit unglaublich gutem Essen, das schnell zu Tisch kommt und auch wirklich angenehm für den Magen ist. Perfekte Portionsgrößen für einen guten Preis. Geheimtipp: Sonntags komplett leer, also sehr an einem Samstag zu empfehlen (für Jahrestag, Dates oder einfach Treffen unter Freunden)
