Running Sushi: the homepage advertises an unlimited length of stay but then asks the guests to leave after 1.5 hours... exactly my humor... The food is always the same but so far it's ok.. you've seen higher quality and more variety.. The service could be better, waiters rarely go to the guests to order drinks.. in any case you can't get the three included drinks if you don't actively demand them...

Rating after first visit on the evening of January 16, 2019. Positive: - We had no problem finding a parking space for our car and had also seen several other parking spaces. - The restaurant is in a quiet square with several other shops. The place is quite comfortable so far, although not overly pretty To the restaurant: - The restaurant is large and has a few tables for running sushi and also some tables for other dishes -The tables are a good size and you don't sit cramped. It's also easy to get to the assembly line if you choose Running Sushi. -The service is very friendly and attentive. I assume the boss was also with the guests and was also very nice and attentive. What I found very cool was that the waitress would change the plates for the purpose of "Who can eat more?" let stand. - Running Sushi offers a very large selection of hot and cold dishes. In addition to classic fried foods, there were also fried foods such as duck and chicken and also boiled foods with very tasty sauces. There are also desserts and sushi. -The food is mostly delicious and the conveyor belt is consistently well covered. - What was very positive: Even though there were very few other people there with us when we were there, the conveyor belt was always full and filled with a wide variety of things. Despite there being fewer other guests, we were treated very nicely and adequately looked after. In contrast to some other restaurants, this struck me as very positive. -The toilets were great and the rest of the restaurant seemed well maintained. "Negative": - The fruit salad was from a can, which had a strong taste -The price is now 30 euros per person in the evening for running sushi including 3 drinks. You can then stay on site for between 1-2 hours. All in all, the price is okay. P.S. the “Who can eat more?” It ended in a draw with 32 to 32 plates

Probably the best running sushi in Munich. It's a bit far away, but totally worth it.

It was a really long day of choosing where to go, but in the end, hokkaido was my choice. And im happy to say that it was indeed a good choice. But of course there are always some things to consider. First the positive: -the variety of food in the all-you-can-eat is so far the best I've seen when it comes to running sushi. I've even found foods I've never tasted there, even though my experience with asiatic foods is fairly broad. -3 drinks are included in all you can eat already which makes the 30€ deal (evening time) fairly cheap given that normally you'd pay about 5€ extra for every drink. Typical range of soft drinks are available -the food itself is fairly well made. In my case it was freshly made and some of the hot dishes were even steaming :D Obviously don't expect elite quality food there, after all, the staff often needs to make a ton of food for us hungry clients very quickly. But as of my taste, it was really enjoyable aesthetically and tastefully. (Apart from steam baked shrimp dumplings or how they're called, they were very weird) -the restaurant isn't the biggest, but also I didn't feel like it's any cramped, at least for an average sized person like me. And the inside of the restaurant looks and smells quite pleasing, nothing out of ordinary -I had a group of 6 people and there was a table for 6 people which i thought could be a problem. For people who order a-la-carte there are plenty of other bigger tables. Here im speaking only about the running sushi places Now the negative: -the biggest of them is that there is, after all, a time limit. Despite what they're saying on the website. At least that's true for weekends (my case was Saturday). I reserved a place for 17:30 on Saturday and we were told that we could only stay until 19:00. Which is about 1,5 hours if you're not late to your reservation. In my case i was asked to leave after about 2 hours, so if you're not late, you could get a bit more time. BUT! It isn't as sad as it sounds, me and my whole group were basically full after one hour of eating, so the rest of the time we were just sitting there waiting to be able to move after too much food xD. So generally 1,5 hours is enough to have a good meal without feeling like u gotta be quick. -to get drinks you need to catch the attention of always busy staff. In my case they were coming by our table quite often so It wasn't a problem to get my three drinks. Things to consider: -if you want the best running sushi experience, you could ask for a place on the right of the running sushi belt, because that way you'll be one of the first tables which will get the newer, fresher dishes. -if you plan on going there on weekends, MAKE A RESERVATION! It's virtually impossible to find a place for running sushi otherwise. -be nice to the staff and the staff will be nice to you! -there are little buckets with wasabi and marinated ginger running around on the running sushi belt. If you need some of that, take the for example wasabi bucket, put some wasabi on ur plate and put the wasabi bucket back onto the belt so others can use it too. -obviously the best time to come is the opening time, cuz more fresh meals and the staff aren't as stressed as they would be closer to the closing time. In general, i would recommend this place if you are alright with everything I said above. Personally, i enjoyed my meal there and would definitely come for another round

First arrived nice, looked nice, a bit cold but otherwise nice. When the first sushi came we were a little disappointed with the carelessly made shushi that was oozing out on the sides. 30 euros is a lot, so you expect something. Then the condition that I take my plates and my soy sauce container with me was also what I wanted, but apparently that was a trick because after 5 minutes a waiter came and insinuated that we would let the soy sauce bowl go with us, an impertinence. He remained stubborn and even after a 10 euro tip he didn't even apologize. I don't know where all the positive reviews come from, other guests have also complained without any result. And after the gag-inducing rubber octopod sushi, we left. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Good running sushi. There is a huge selection. You can't try everything without overeating 😅. But you will definitely find something for every taste.

Unfortunately a disappointment! I often go to different restaurants for Asian food, but one with pieces of sushi!!! and I've never seen anyone kicking us out after an hour because apparently you're only allowed to eat for 1 hour. The unfriendly waiter came to us with a list of when we arrived. He seriously told us we only have 5 minutes to eat now as our meal time is over! Unfortunately, for €30, it's also a poor price/performance ratio! Too bad The Aldi sushis are better!

I have to agree with the negative reviews. €30 per person for running sushi with long, minute-long gaps on the treadmill on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. You have to regularly ask the waiter/boss if he could please put something on again. You also have to constantly ask for the included drinks. Unfortunately the boss isn't the friendliest. After 1.5 hours you are generally asked to clear the table for new guests so that more sales can be generated. Due to its local proximity, we regularly gave the restaurant a chance and were always disappointed. The service and quality could decrease even further. Confirmed reservations are sometimes not found or are simply denied. The price/performance ratio is not right here. Despite the negative reviews, I am surprised by the high average rating. Definitely not recommended. We are now making reservations elsewhere.

Four of us went for sushi. The restaurant was clean, the service was very friendly. The food, very varied, Asian, but not just sushi. And then here and there you have to wait longer until they put on the desired something again. Drinks are included in the price. Still, in my opinion, not a highlight. Sushi with Philadelphia and cherry tomatoes is not real sushi in my opinion. The other sushi fell apart, I can do it better at home. You have to like it. For 22 euros per person you can get more elsewhere.

The food is as cheap as possible, mostly all dishes are made from vegetables or rice, sashimi is practically never served on the strip, and there is little meat. The service is frankly disgusting, the staff simply don’t care about the guests and will never pay attention, come up and ask if you need anything. Plates are rarely taken away, the table is constantly overloaded. There is no atmosphere. Just a room... Very low level of everything compared to similar establishments.

The sushi is excellent, there is a varied selection and no savings are made. Delicious teas and very traditional decor. Easy to reach and lots of parking options. Be sure to reserve in advance, but after waiting a while there are still sometimes still places on the train. We are very happy because the service is very nice and helpful.

The taste of the food was ok, but it has nothing to do with Asian food. The vegetables in Chicken Gungbao consisted of zucchini, onions, turnips, peppers, canned mushrooms and a few peanuts. There was nothing Asian to be found here. No Mu Err mushrooms, no bamboo shoots, no soybean sprouts... the rice was cold, and there was very little sauce. Sorry, but I cook more Asian style at home Drinks were only available once and we sat there all evening with empty glasses. And for €15.90... I found the portion a bit too small. Very good food and good value for money too My only criticism is that you have to plan around 1.5 - 2 hours because dishes seem to be made alternately, with longer breaks in between So it's possible that you eat something, but you won't have that dish for another 30+ minutes But the food is delicious, the service is friendly and quick

Sushi is very fresh and recommended. The owner very unfriendly. But what was a no go was the persistent large gaps in the treadmills. Despite rush hour, the bands became fewer and fewer. For 30 euros I then had to eat what was served one at a time. I wouldn't go a second time.

Crazy, the last time I had such good running sushi was 10 years ago in London China Town - and it was significantly more expensive. Really every plate you eat tastes at least good. And I don’t know that from “Running sushi / all you can eat”. You can also tell that the food is simply of good quality. The curry, for example, tasted like it was in Thailand! The staff were also incredibly courteous and friendly, they always brought you something new to drink when the glass was empty, and the young gentleman who served us had a very friendly manner the whole time, which is almost more important to me than that it “goes quickly”. The whole time (even though it was late in the evening) there was a large selection of food and it was always quickly prepared if there was less of something. All in all, for the price they offer (drinks included see website) - in relation to the quality - you really can't say anything negative. A mega restaurant, we will definitely come back!

Food was delicious. Sushi wasn't among my top sushi but still delicious. Children in particular can also find something to eat here. What I think is really great is that drinks are included in the price of running sushi. Normally they are still in top condition. We will be back definitely.

We ate running sushi here. The food was very tasty and also very diverse.

We arrived at this place around 9pm on Sunday evening and perhaps the kitchen was about to close. The waiter was kind but I would say the only positive note was the rather disappointing food and the choice in the "rotating tray" a little repetitive and poor (all you can eat formula). Only when we paid did we notice that perhaps we could also order à la carte. But the quality of the food was quite poor, the rice on the rolls was terrible, sorry.

We've been going to Hokkaido as a family for a long time and enjoy it every time 💖 great selection of food, some sushi with tomatoes and stuff is unnecessary, but maybe vegetarians like it?🤷🏽‍♀️ Price performance is simply the best here💖 it seems something more expensive than others, but you have two drinks with you at the buffet🤭 Clear recommendation for everyone! Even with children, cozy with a small extra room with Lego and books for the short ones🫶

Good running sushi restaurant with hot and cold treadmill. The lunch price for all-you-can-eat is unbeatable, especially since there is no time limit, as is sometimes the case with comparable restaurants. The sushi is always fresh and usually beautifully prepared. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend Hokkaido! PS: In the meantime, the Hokkaido had a phase in which the treadmill was only very sparsely used (which is probably the reason for some of the more negative reviews here), but fortunately that has improved significantly again. Great food, can't complain. Rich selection, but sometimes long waiting times for certain dishes. Always fresh. The all-you-can-eat menu including 3 drinks of 0.5L each (beer with an additional charge!) is ideological. Hardly anyone can manage three large drinks. The waiters are also very inattentive in this regard. They are very reluctant to give out another drink unless asked. If you make such an offer, you have to comply with it on your own initiative and not roll your eyes when you ask for supplies. If you take a short break to eat, the owner sneaks around the tables like a wolf and you feel rushed. Ambiance could also be nicer. Has the style of a snack bar at Edeka.

Running sushi in stress mode. 30 euros per person for 1 hour and 15 minutes of food. Sometimes the conveyor belt was full of food that had nothing to do with sushi. But the quality was good. However, it wasn't comfortable. After the time had elapsed, you were asked non-verbally to leave quickly.

We had reserved a table for 4 people and that was a good thing - the restaurant was full, and the tables for "normal food" were also well occupied. We went to all-you-can-eat. For adults you pay around €30 and children around €16. Unfortunately I don't know exactly anymore. The selection is really HUGE and soft drinks are included in the price. However, I found it to be a bit too expensive. For two adults and two children almost €100 is steep.

All you can eat sushi with a good selection of cold and warm dishes on the line. The staff are friendly. The selection of sushi and warm dishes was varied and tasty. Be sure to reserve.

Super leckeres Essen. Die Auswahl an Sushi am Abend könnte ein bisschen größer sein und so etwas wie Tomate Mozzarella Sushi hat die Welt glaub ich nicht gebraucht. Einige Getränke sind mit inklusive, warum man aber für einen Espresso am Ende 2 Euro extra zahlen soll verstehe ich nicht ganz.

Lokal sehr nüchtern und clean. Essen a la carte gut und Preis ok. Über das running Sushi kann ich nichts sagen.

Das running sushi ist für die 30 Euro+Zuschlag für alle Alkoholischen Getränke und viele der nicht alkoholischen, leider sehr schlecht vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das warme Essen ist nahezu vollkommen paniert/frittiert und aus der TK. Leider ist auch das Wasabi und der Ingwer abschreckend, sodass man darauf verzichten will. Der Lachs ist okay, der Thunfisch leider nicht lecker gewesen. Nudeln und Obst sind völlig okay, aber für mich kein wesentlicher Teil von Running sushi. Insgesamt bin ich von der hohen durchschnittlichen Bewertung überrascht.

Wir können die positiven Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen: altbackenes Ambiente, Service schwierig, Getränke nur auf Nachfrage, zeitliche Begrenzung (homepage Angabe falsch!), Samstag Abend um halb sieben für ca. 15 Minuten ein leeres Sushi-Band, Qualität in Ordnung aber auch nicht mehr und ab 10 Jahre Vollzahler - damit passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Wir ware zweimal da, zum ersten und zum letzten Mal.

Tolles Runnuning Sushi. Preis-Leistung wirklich top. Alle Gericht waren frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich sehr gut. Der Kellner und die Kellnerin waren etwas hektisch und wuselig. Ein Tiramisu in Sushiladen hat mich gewundert und die Sushi mit Erdbeeren drin war etwas „komisch“.

Werben Online damit das, ich zitiere: „bei uns ist all you can eat die Devise und das ohne Zeiteinschränkungen“ gerade Reservieren wollen…. Dürfen am Samstag 1 Std bleiben … nein danke, dann gehen wir wo anders hin

Für 30 Euro knapp 1,5 h-Slot (nicht wie auf der Homepage stehend zeitlich 'unbegrenzt') abends futtern ohne Limit am laufenden Band, inkl. 3 Getränke. Verschiedene Sushi, asiatische Speisen und Desserts. Bei den warmen Speisen viel vermutlich Tiefkühl-Convenience (z.B. Frühlingsrollen, Teigtaschen, viel Frittiertes, Kroketten, Rösti...), aber auch verschiedene Fleischgerichte. Beim Nachtisch Ananas, Orangen, Minimuffins, Kiwis, Erdbeeren, Pudding, Tiramisu. Das Ambiente ist eher altbacken, der Service freundlich und zügig. Gemischtes Publikum, überwiegend passend zum Viertel.

Sehr schönes Running Sushi-Restaurant. Waren mit Kindern Sonntag Mittag dort. War gut besucht und die Auswahl war sehr gut. Für 22€ für alle ab 10 Jahren inkl. 2 Getränken recht preiswert. Das Personal war freundlich und die leeren Teller wurden sehr regelmäßig abgeräumt. War mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Besuch dort.

Der Laden ist total sympathisch und hat ein gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Daumen hoch.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal in dem Restaurant essen und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Auswahl am Running Sushi Band war sehr groß und auch für Vegetarier sehr erfreulich. Es war auch immer gut befüllt. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut organisiert und das Abräumen und Getränke bringen klappt reibungslos. Im Running Sushi Preis sind 3 Getränke inkludiert. Daher ist der relativ hohe Preis okay. Im Internet steht, dass man unbegrenzt bleiben kann, die meisten anderen wurden aber nach 1,5 Std. gebeten, zu gehen, da neue Gäste kamen. Darauf müsste man dann aber auf der Website hinweisen, denn wenn dort steht, dass man unbegrenzt sitzen bleiben kann, ist das irreführend. Uns ließ man in Ruhe und wir konnten 2 Std. bleiben. Daher haben wir nichts auszusetzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, leider wenn man am Ende des Brandes sitzt oftmals sehr ausgesucht und man muss nehmen was übrig bleibt. 1,5 Stunden hat man Zeit zum Essen beim letzten Mal waren nur 2 verschiedene warme Gerichte bei uns angekommen.. Das war schade und auch im kalten Bereich recht ausgesucht weil es eben sehr voll war und wir am Ende des Bands saßen. Zieht euch warm an! Im Winter recht kalt, bedingt durch den Anbau

Running Sushi mit guter Auswahl (Sushi, chinesische Speisen, Obst, etc.). Es werden auch Speisen a la carte angeboten. Für Kinder ist auch Convenience Food auf dem Band. Wer höchste Ansprüche an Sushi hat, sollte lieber woanders hingehen. Für Leute mit gesundem Appetit und Lust auf Sushi und andere asiatische Gerichte zu empfehlen.

Ich bin hier schon seit gut 10 Jahren immer mal wieder zu Gast. Das Ambiente ist angenehm. Sowohl mittags als auch abends. Die Qualität der Speisen ist für die Preise durchaus sehr gut. Der Service ist immer total freundlich und lieb. Nicht sicher, ob es ein Familienbetrieb ist, aber die Stimmung legt es nahe. Das spürt man schon beim Empfang. Ständig kommt jemand und räumt die Teller ab. Sobald Getränke leer sind kann man nachbestellen. Und tatsächlich kann man auch Wünsche für das Running Sushi äußern, wenn es bestimmte Dinge nicht mehr gibt.

The food and atmosphere were decent. Considering the price, there's really nothing to complain about. We weren't rushed, enjoyed our meal, and had the chance to try a variety of dishes. Overall, quite satisfactory.

Die angebotenen Speisen war in Ordnung, dem hohen Preis aber nicht angemessen. Der Service erinnert mich sehr an ein Bahnhofsrestaurant aus den 1970er Jahren. Das könnte professioneller sein.

Einfach Suoer! Es gibt sehr viel Auswahl und alle Speisen kommen immer wieder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und alles ist der sauber.

Ich war beim all-you-can-eat an einem Mittwochmittag und muss ehrlich zugeben, dass das Essen zwar relativ gut war, jedoch dieses nicht mehr wirklich warm war und der Service definitiv Lücken aufweist. Meine Begleitung musste leider etwas länger als erwartet, genauer 20min auf ein weiteres Getränk warten und auf Anfrage, ob es denn noch ein bestimmtes Gericht geben wird, konnte der Service keine Auskunft geben. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und traditionell jedoch etwas „eingestaubt“. Ich würde mich beim nächsten Mal über mehr Auswahlmöglichkeiten beim Essen, besseren Service, schönere und verständlichere Menükarten und ein etwas freundlicheres Ambieten freuen!

Easily the best running sushi in western Munich. Two belts with high-quality seafood, sushi and tasty hot plates. Service is friendly and attentive. We always go on the weekend in the evening, so I can't speak for lunch or during the week.

Running-Sushi war sehr gut. Es gab sehr viel Auswahl an verschiedenen Sushi. Die warmen Speisen waren auch lecker. Leider waren nicht so viele weitere Leute am Band gesessen. Da sind die Speisen recht lange gefahren und es kam relativ wenig neues nach. Trotzdem war es reichlich und hat gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Im Preis sind zwei ausgewählte Getränke enthalten.

Liu the owner is very attentive to give the best food and let the customers be happy. I had tasty fried noodles with duck and spring rolls.. and was super tasty. then he offered me some liquor too. Suggested!

Schön, dass man hier auch als Familie hingehen kann. Es ist ausreichend Platz und es gibt für Kinder von 0-5J (13€) und von 6-15J (20€) sogar zwei eigene Pauschalen statt dem Vollpreis (28€).

Im großen und ganzen war es vom Aspekt der Preis/Leistung völlig ok.
