My partner and I ate at the restaurant today, and our expectations were more than exceeded! The soups (vegetarian options available upon request) and the main courses were incredibly delicious! Everything was freshly prepared with great attention to detail – even the spicy chili sauce was homemade! The owners deserve special mention: incredibly warm, accommodating, and friendly. We would return anytime just for the warm atmosphere – but of course also to continue sampling the extremely diverse menu!

Prepared with lots of love. Freshness is a priority. We received a very warm welcome. And you also get recommendations. What I find important is that fresh herbs still find their way into the dishes here. You often don't find them in German Vietnamese restaurants anymore. There's always very little cheap vegetables. Here, there was a balanced, delicious mix with mushrooms and many different vegetables in the Thai curry and the summer rolls. So, definitely recommended.

Fantastic, authentic Vietnamese food served by a very friendly and welcoming couple. I ordered Pho Bo, and the owner (and also the chef, I assume) served it personally and finished the dish in front of me with couple of drops of home-made sauce. It was the best Pho I ever had!

It was so kind and delicious! It's the best food I've had while living in Germany. I think Koreans will especially like it. There's coriander on the soup, but it wasn't too much, so even I, who can't eat coriander, enjoyed it! The stir-fried udon was also really, really delicious!! If you go to Bamberg, you must go there.

As a lover of well-kept Vietnamese cuisine, I can warmly recommend this small restaurant. On the chef's advice, I ate a poke bowl with fresh salmon, which was of absolutely high quality and very tasty. The service is warm and the guest is taken into consideration. I also find the price-performance ratio to be extremely good! Top! I'd love to come back!

Went to get food on a cold day and had to wait a bit, then got some tea from the nice lady. The chef was also very nice and answered our questions. The food was very tasty and the portion size was also good. Clear recommendation!

Sweet and authentic restaurant in the center of Bamberg. The food is very tasty, the service is very friendly.

Unfortunately, my order today was a disaster. The woman who answered the call didn't understand a word, despite my very clear pronunciation and phrasing. I didn't understand your attempted words of repetition. We tried that about 6 times, repeatedly, and then she hung up. Called again, same thing, without being able to place my order, B2 fried spring rolls with glass noodles. The last time the order went wrong and I didn't get what I ordered. Ultimately, this time the order was placed directly in the store, with a waiting time while the car was parked in the restricted parking area. The food this time: Salad not like usual, but with raw red and white cabbage, which had to be sorted out. Spring rolls were not cut into pieces as usual, so they were edible with a fork on the go. Different in taste too. Overall impression: loveless. Very, very unfortunate! Because this dish in particular has been one of my favorites so far. It's a shame that the shop owner wasn't there, like the last few times, and the service suffers!

The food is a treat - I haven't had such good Asian food in ages as it was so delicate and well seasoned. Immediately again. The interior could use some polishing.

They do not understand german enough. And service is so slow. Wait time over 15 mins for just one nudeln.

The beef pho and beef noodles were both good. The lady boss can speak Chinese and the service is excellent. She even takes you the key to the restroom.

We are in Bamberg for a short stay. We were looking for a place to have dinner. Bamberg has so much more to offer than Franconian cuisine. We chose Vietnamese cuisine. The prerequisite was that it should be within walking distance. The parking situation in Bamberg is tense. That's how we found out about this place. It is very small and you can almost miss it. The space is cramped, but the comfort is not compromised. In addition to classic dishes from Vietnamese cuisine, the menu also includes other dishes from the Asian region. Everything is freshly prepared, which you can also hear, because in the kitchen on the first floor you could hear the kitchen diligently chopping and preparing. The dishes themselves were excellently seasoned and really harmonious. The normal seasoning was tailored to the European stomach. But there is also the original Vietnamese seasoning, you just have to ask for it. As a starter we had 6 mini spring rolls with vegetables with sweet chili sauce. For main courses we had chicken breast fillet with mango sauce and fried udon noodles with chicken and fresh vegetables. We also drank a Tra Da (green tea, raw sugar, orange, lemon, fruit syrup) and a passion fruit mojito (non-alcoholic). This little restaurant is really worth it. Can be recommended well. Unfortunately there is a small limitation. Due to the narrow space, the restaurant is not barrier-free and can only be recommended to a limited extent for wheelchair users.

Very authentic experience. There are real Vietnamese people at work, which you can tell when you eat your way through the menu. Haven't experienced any disappointments so far, everything is more delicious than anywhere else and is prepared fresh and without glutamate. If desired, you can also add extra vegetables to the soup. The price-performance ratio is right here. We recommend!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Ist halt kein Lokal in dem man chic sitzen kann, ist sehr klein aber war vollkommen in Ordnung. Es gibt einen kleinen Bereich im hinteren Teil, der ist ganz gemütlich. Vorne sitzt man direkt im Geschehen. Das tut der Qualität der Speisen aber keinen Abbruch. Leider hab ich versäumt Fotos zu machen. Lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass ich so Hunger hatte. Ich hatte ein Reisnudelgericht mit Huhn und Gemüse und einen Ingwertee. War alles sehr gut verträglich und sowas von lecker. Würde ich in der Nähe wohnen, ich wäre Stammgast.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kamen heute zu fünft, alles war sehr lecker. OHNE GLUTAMAT, schön frisch. Auch die Mojitos waren lecker mit frischer Minze. Macht weiter so!!!

Das Essen war wirklich lecker, aber dadurch, dass wir nah an der Küche saßen war die Wahrnehmung vom Geräuschpegel im Ambiente nicht die Beste. Der Rest hat aber gepasst.

Wir hatten 2 Vorspeisen und 3 Hauptgerichte. Alles war super lecker, die Portionen sind groß und sehr schön angerichtet. Die Cocktails haben ebenfalls gut geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung ist auf jeden Fall gegeben. Mit dem Besitzer haben wir uns auch noch sehr nett unterhalten. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Waren hier anlässlich unseres Bamberg Besuchs essen. Was soll ich sagen - Preis Leistung war super, alles Speisen frisch zubereitet, nette Bedienung - was will man mehr!? Kann ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen! Klare 5 Sterne :)

Toller Service und super Angebot. Waren mittags hier und haben eine riesige Portion bekommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wer hier kurz mal Pause machen und was essen möchte ohne viel Schnickschnack ist genau richtig. Kurze Wartezeiten, frisch zubereitete sehr leckere und preiswerte Speisen und ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Natürlich kann man das Essen auch von zu Hause ordern und dann persönlich abholen. Liegt zentral in der Altstadt Nähe altem Rathaus. Die Sitzplätze im kleinen Restaurant selber sind etwas begrenzt, der Laden nicht besonders groß aber das tut der Qualität keinen Abbruch. Kann geschmacklich mit grossen teueren Restaurants problemlos mithalten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Saigon Food hat erst am 24.08.22 seine Türen geöffnet und deshalb hatte ich ein wenig Chaos erwartet, aber Fehlanzeige! Das Team hat super zusammengearbeitet, hatte super Stimmung und war total nett und hat so eine tolle Atmosphäre geschaffen. Ein absoluter Traum und das Essen war wirklich wahnsinnig lecker! Meine Pho mit Hühnchen war so mega lecker gewürzt und einfach perfekt abgestimmt. Die beste die ich je gegessen habe! Wäre ich danach nicht super satt gewesen, hätte ich wohl versucht alles auf der Karte zu probieren. Aber dieses Ziel ist jetzt gesetzt! Der Preis passt auch, ich bin Fan!
