Genuine traditional atmosphere, the food choice is excellent and very true to what you’d eat in the Balkans. Cevapcici with kajmak were an absolute spot-on. The house wine is also great. The waitress as well as the cook are exceptionally kind and warm people but also professional. We will be coming back, thank you and greetings from Macedonia!

The food was very good. The Gurmanska Pljeskavica was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. It came with diced onions and ajvar on lettuce leaves, which complemented it perfectly. Djuvec rice was also served, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but still tasty. Despite the restaurant being quite full, the food arrived relatively quickly, and the waiters were very friendly. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. I highly recommend it. You should know.

Tonight was my first time in 40 years, since my last visit to Opatija as a child, and I was instantly transported back to my childhood. That lovely little quaint restaurant from back then. But tonight, I was incredibly surprised. The welcome was warm, almost familial, and the server was very friendly, kind, and efficient. What really surprised me in a very positive way was being served a local beer straight from the bottle – simply fantastic! As for the food, you can see immediately, from the way it's presented on the plate, no matter what it is, that a lot of heart and love has gone into it. The taste was truly a delight, with a certain harmony between the different specialties, for example, on a mixed grill. You can really tell while eating that all the ingredients are absolutely fresh and freshly prepared. I can also confirm that the owner himself came to our table and asked for our opinion. In my opinion, the chef, who is also the owner, has not just a job in his restaurant, but a true calling. My actual rating is: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best čevapi I've ever tasted here in Germany. I've been to various restaurants that offer Balkan cuisine, but none of them have surprised me this pleasantly. At the entrance, everyone greeted me as if I were a member of the family. The staff was extremely friendly. I felt like I was in my hometown. The food was excellent and very tasty. All in all, a perfect ten. This was the first, but not the last time. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

We've never had such delicious tzatziki before! It came with a small, deliciously dressed salad. The whole meal was delicious. Keep it up... If we visit Bamberg again, we'll be back.

We choose this restaurant , seeing the online reviews . Honestly ,4,5 for what? Food was over salted, rice was probably from the previous day, potatoes the frozen type . Bread was also stale and poor quality .More like a train station snack buffet quality food than a restaurant. However the blond lady was nice and friendly.

Cevapcici Dish: The texture was to die for - the meat had just the right balance of tender and firm, and the spices enveloped the palate in an intoxicating dance. A typical Balkan tavern. Not such a large selection of food, but it passes. Kebabs taste good, but I have a complaint about the flatbread, which is not a flatbread, but some hambi pastry, and the side dishes are in minimal quantities.

Grill plate for 2 tastes excellent and is very plentiful. Nice staff and warm atmosphere. Unfortunately the toilets are a bit cold in winter.

Despite the new opening, the same old 'charm' awaits you in Opatija as in earlier times. Unfortunately, price/performance is no longer convincing here. The food is ok, but it feels more like you're in a fast food restaurant. The portions seem manageable and the taste doesn't necessarily make you want to come back. The service was also very overwhelmed on our day. My order was missing fries and rice. When I mentioned my problem directly, I received no response or apology; the waiter simply walked away without saying a word. After 10 minutes, again without a word, a bowl of rice was put in front of me. I never received my fries. To be honest, I didn't feel like asking again. At the end of the evening we paid 50 euros (two main courses, a coleslaw and two drinks) for two people and I really went home more than disappointed.

We held our Christmas party there and everyone was thrilled. The food was very good both visually and in terms of taste, the service was friendly and courteous and the nice thing is that the boss personally comes to the table and takes care of his guests despite the fact that he had a lot to do in the kitchen. Was there today for the first time after the reopening and was really pleasantly surprised. Very good food at a fair price and courteous service. I ate a chicken breast in a cream sauce and flatbread. For €15 a good portion that will definitely fill you up. I also tried my dad's Viennese style schnitzel, you can really tell that it was freshly breaded and you get a lot of meat for your money and not just breading like in some other restaurants. We'll definitely come back a few times in the new year - big compliments to the boss and his team!

I was at Opatija on Friday. Great food, good prices, good service. The chef is the new boss and he always checks whether everything is right. He goes to the tables and asks the guests what's missing, so his drawer goes up even further. Great performance!! I can only recommend.
