We were at Saigon 2 for the Schlemmerblock and will be back. The food was delicious.

Was here for lunch today We have the dish pictured Duck with Tai Curry with rice The dish was excellently seasoned Service on site was very friendly. I am very satisfied and recommend this restaurant 100%

Super good restaurant :) Super good food, at super good prices. Order there at least once a week. Summer rolls, for example, are highly recommended + the Salach Chay salad. Roast duck with rice and vegetables also a dream :) I can definitely recommend the restaurant :)

Admittedly, I haven't ordered anything in ages, so I have no idea what happened in the meantime. Used to be my No. 1 Pho. Now it's just noodles, beef and broth delivered. No lime, no chili, no coriander. And 12 euros for that?? The broth now comes in a thin plastic bag and spills all over my kitchen when I open it. Nothing better than cleaning the kitchen again at 10 p.m. after a long day at work ❤️. The delivery took almost 1 hour.

My family has been a customer for over 10 years, and there are reasons for that.

One of my favorite restaurants in Nuremberg. Cozy atmosphere where you feel very welcome by the employees/operators. A pleasant friendliness.:-) The food tastes absolutely fantastic and the portions are huge and more than fills even people who are very hungry ;-)

Restaurant in the middle of a residential area, which is why getting there or parking by car is difficult. The restaurant is inviting, the service is friendly, flexible and attentive. The food is very good and the size of the dishes stated as "normal" in the menu is generous.

Das Saigon 2 befindet sich nicht in der Tafelfeld-, sondern in der Galvanistraße 19. Wenn man aber vorher googelt, findet man es leicht. Sollte in dem Medien aber vielleicht mal geändert werden. Gestern Abend war ich mit meiner Freundin in diesem Restaurant "Saigon 2" . Wir hatten einen Schlemmer-Gutschein-Block, der uns ein gleichwertiges oder niedrig- preisigeres Gericht gratis versprach. Da das mit der Adresse nicht stimmte, war ich ein wenig skeptisch. ABER!!! :-) Wir traten in ein kleines, aber hübsches, ordentliches Lokal, wo wir sofort nett begrüsst wurden und wo uns unser reservierter Tisch gezeigt wurde. Die Bestellung wurde auch sogleich aufgenommen. Wir gaben unseren Gutschein ab, der gerne entgegengenommen wurde. Unsere Bestellung (wir essen immer lieber mehrere Gerichte und teilen sie, so dass jede von uns mehrere Speisen kosten kann): als Vorspeise drei Frühlingsrollen mit scharfer Süß-Sauer-Sauce. Dann einmal eine kross gebratene Ente mit Reis mit Gemüse in einer wundervollen, geschmacklich hervorragenden Sauce. Dann noch ein weiteres Hauptgericht: gebratene Garnelen auf Reisnudeln, auch wieder mit Gemüse... Dazu war immer noch "Grünzeug" auf dem Teller platziert, also verschiedene Salat-Zutaten. Da wir keinen Nachtisch mehr schafften, bestellten wir statt dessen zwei Cocktails (es ist von 18 bis 21 Uhr Happy-Hour). Einen alkoholfreien für meine Freundin (Saigon Lolita) und einen stärkeren für mich (Long Island Ice Tea). Da wir die Gerichte gar nicht ganz aufessen konnten, wurde uns der Rest von jeder Portion getrennt eingepackt. So, und nun zur Bewertung: es gibt wirklich ü b e r h a u p t nichts zu Meckern. Das Lokal ist sehr sauber, die Toiletten ebenfalls, die beiden Damen, die bedienten, sind super-nett, das Essen ist hervorragend und viel. Die Cocktails sind sehr gut. Und da wir ja den Gutschein hatten, bezahlten wir für das Alles nur Euro 52,00. (Durch den Gutschein wurden uns Euro 18,00 geschenkt) Das hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Ein wunderbarer Mädels-Abend mit einem spitzenmässigen Abendessen. Danke schön! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.!

Location in the southern part of the city is a bit hidden from outsiders. Finding a parking space within the residential area is not that easy. The friendly service was attentive, patient and not annoying. The drinks were well chilled and the cocktails were tasty. The portions were more than sufficient, well seasoned and beautifully decorated. The outdoor area offers seating, unfortunately not in the classic garden but on the sidewalk. The stay was very pleasant for us and we would like to come back. This restaurant is a participant in Schlemmerblock 2024

The take-away/delivery service works terribly!!! Either they dropped the whole sauce outside my door, or they took more than 1,5 hour to deliver or they didn’t deliver at all. We have given them so many chances and they disappointed us every single time!

Exorbitant price increase! 2 years ago my lunch menu (M15, duck with vegetables) including a starter, either a sour-spicy soup or 4 mini spring rolls, cost €7.90. The food was served on a plate for the warmer and the rice in an extra bowl. Last year, the soup was canceled first and the entire meal, including the rice and spring rolls, was served on one plate. This means the portion became smaller and there was no more soup. It still cost €7.90 Towards the end of last year the mini spring rolls were also left out. The lunch menu still cost €7.90. This year the price for the lunch menu was increased from €7.90 to €10.90. Still without soup. In order to have soup again, you have to order the soup separately for €4.50. This means that the comparable lunch menu today costs €10.90 + €4.50 = €15.40 (!!!). This corresponds to a price increase of a mere 95% (!!!!!!!!!!). Neither energy prices nor food prices nor wages have risen by 95% in the last two years. But price and demand regulate supply. Let's see if the Saigon2 will still be around in 2 years. It is clear to me and I am aware that the prices will be increased appropriately. But 95% inflation in the restaurant industry escaped me. For less money, I would rather treat myself to an Asian buffet in other restaurants with soup, spring rolls, a large selection of different main courses and desserts. Super nice service and good food. But the price/performance ratio is no longer right here. A pity.

Decent food , amazing drinks and economical pricing

We already know Saigon 2 from a previous location. After a long time I was now in the new restaurant (with a voucher from Schlemmerblock). It's a bit hidden and it can take a while to find a parking space, but it's definitely worth a visit. The food is still very tasty, the selection is large and the service is good. We'd love to come back.

This Vietnamese restaurant is located 5 mins walk from Mafieplatz U-Bahn Station. The restaurant has a great vibe and very nice and Polite staff. I visited this place with my 2 Vietnamese friends, and they also said the food tasted of authentic Vietnamese taste.

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, 6:00 p.m.: Quite inconspicuous from the outside (without outdoor seating due to the time of year). The interior is relatively small, but clean and pretty. Despite the limited space available, no attempt was made to cram in as many seats as possible. - The service was extremely friendly, nice, attentive and quick, without seeming fake in any way. She always had a smile on her face and I had the feeling that she really enjoyed doing this job. - Regarding the dishes (8. Mỳ Tôm Thịt), (122. Gỏi Cuốn) and (305. Vịt nướng Càri): awesome!!! Very authentic, visually appealing, tasteful and freshly prepared. Big compliment for this! I have eaten many times in Vietnam and am thrilled that it tastes identical here. - Only one tiny point of criticism: The menu says “spicy”. That's not it. I then asked for chopped fresh chilies and received a bottle of Sriracha chili sauce for spicing up. Fresh chilies would be more authentic here. - I'm definitely going back!

Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt und wollten das Saigon mal ausprobieren. Enttäuschend… geschmacklich keine Bombe. Ist ok, aber es gibt in Nürnberg Besseres. Wir hatten für 18:30 Uhr bestellt, die App zeigte wenig später 18:50 Uhr und folgend rief die Dame des Restaurants an und teilte mit, dass es 19:30 Uhr wird. Sie hätten uns ohne Nachfrage nichts erstatten wollen, allerdings sicherte sie uns im Gespräch dann zu, dass wir Frühlingsrollen ZUSÄTZLICH zu unseren Bestellten bekämen. Das Essen kam um 19:45 Uhr an. Keine einzige Frühlingsrolle dabei… perfekt gelaufen… sehr enttäuschend. Stattdessen gab es einen trockenen Bambussalat! Unsere Sommerrollen, lagen zerfallen in der Box… ja uns fehlen die Worte.

Top in allen Punkten. Und eine sehr freundliche und süße Bedienung. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr gutes Essen

Haben den Laden vor kurzem Entdeckt. In der Gegend ein auffällig gutes und vernünftiges Restaurant. Das Essen ist dem Preis angemessen. Die Sitz Möglichkeit draußen bedarf noch etwas Verbesserung. Die Ikea Balkon Stühle sind sehr unbequem. Ein paar bessere Tische und Stühle, ein paar Blumenkästen und Zack ist das Stammrestaurant um die Ecke perfekt ;)

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Essen da, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt richtig lecker und was mir besonders gut gefällt, man kann kleine Portionen bestellen. Diese machen auch satt aber es gibt kein Fresskoma. Ich würde mir mehr Restaurants mit kleinen Portionen wünschen. Vielen Dank an das Team von SAIGON 2.

Schön eingerichtet und nette Bedienung. Die vietnamesischen Speisen sind authentisch und lecker. Die Ente mit Erdnussauce war geschmacklos und das Gemüse besteht aus viel Kohl Karottenscheiben und Bohnen. Fischsuppe war sehr gut.

Sehr schönes kleines Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Cocktails auch 😁! Dazu waren wir mit den Fahrrädern dort und konnten diese perfekt neben dem Tisch abstellen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
