Small portion, very greasy minced meat skewer, rice was very good. No sauce or dip. Bored staff.

The food all looked the same, no matter what you ordered, just like the sauce (it all looked and tasted the same too). The beef was totally dry.

I expected more from a Persian restaurant in terms of cuisine.

I found the food very good; some of the flavors were quite unusual and interesting. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere appealing.

The food and drinks are inexpensive and very tasty. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied with our visit today. The food wasn't fresh and tasted disappointing. The portions were much too small, and as you can see from the picture, I was looking for saffron on my rice, and the quality didn't match the price. The service also left a lot to be desired, which is a shame. I had hoped for more. The staff was also unfriendly. Definitely not a recommendation.

During my recent visit to the ice cream parlor in Osnabrück, I was unfortunately very surprised by the rude behavior of an older employee. He addressed me and three other customers in an unfriendly and irritable tone, which was very unpleasant for all of us. A visit to an ice cream parlor should actually be a pleasant and relaxing experience. I hope management pays attention to such incidents to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the ambiance. Very polite people and a pleasant restaurant experience. I really enjoyed the Persian-style food. I would definitely visit this restaurant again. Value for money? Excellent!

Nope again Just doesn't taste good

I've been living in Osnabrück for two months and have always wanted to go to SAFRAN. Since yesterday, I understand why things kept getting in the way: it was just not meant to be. I'm absolutely disappointed with the restaurant. Persian people are usually very polite, friendly, and accommodating – unfortunately, that's absolutely not the case here. The service left a lot to be desired. The portions in the picture menu are apparently smaller, which is why we opted for other "normal-sized" dishes: to our surprise, these weren't filling either. On top of that, the dishes were heartlessly prepared; as a gourmet, you can see and taste that. It's a shame, I thought I'd found a good Persian restaurant. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to this place.

The food is great and the service is very friendly!

The dishes that we ordered were really delicious. Koubideh and Barg were good. We found dough a bit salty and not perfect. We will come back again for the dishes.

Four of us spontaneously went there during the week of May. We all praised the food, and the service was friendly and attentive despite the hustle and bustle!

My partner and I have visited the restaurant once and were both very satisfied. We enjoyed the food wonderfully; We really enjoyed everything from the starter to the dessert and were served in a friendly manner. At the end we were each given a scoop of ice cream on the house – thank you very much for that! We will visit you again soon.

Not really recommended. The food was okay, but unfortunately I was laid up the next day with diarrhea and feeling sick.

Unfortunately, portions are small, inflexible when changing the side dishes, only rice and fries and fries with a surcharge. I also really missed the spices. How do you say that oriental wow. It's better to raise the prices of the dishes a little and use reasonable portions and work on the selection of side dishes. I think Persian cuisine can do more. I also missed an offer of Persian desserts. The staff was very reserved. A bit of a relaxed atmosphere wouldn't hurt the store.

We ordered Ghorme sabzi (vegan) and Khubide with dough. As a starter, a portion of masto chiar with bread. The dough is carbonated, I don't like it that much, my partner thought it was fine. The masto chiar was okay, I was very disappointed with the bread. It was the thin, pre-baked bread from the package. Especially when you go to a Persian restaurant, you expect homemade, slightly warm Persian bread. The main courses were okay, both in terms of taste and portion size. The atmosphere is nice, I liked the Persian music. The service was also nice.

Food tasted amazing, very unique flavour! We also did not need to wait long before our food came. Staff was friendly and the restaurant looks nice. There are also quite some vegetarian options.

We noticed this restaurant in the pedestrian zone on a shopping day in November. The menu in front of the door promised interesting cuisine. So we went in spontaneously and didn't regret it. The friendly and prompt service quickly brought our drinks and food. We chose from the menu and were not disappointed. The portions were not very large but extremely tasty and totally sufficient for a lunchtime snack. Afterwards we were full but without a “lunch break coma” afterwards. It was worth it!

I recently visited this Iranian restaurant and was very impressed! The atmosphere is cozy and typically Persian, with nice decoration and pleasant music. The food was fantastic – authentic, fresh and incredibly tasty. I particularly enjoyed the kebab and the starters like Mirza Ghasemi and Kashk-e Bademjan. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and service was quick. The prices are also absolutely fair for the high quality of the dishes. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Persian cuisine or wants to try it. I will definitely come back

Small restaurant opposite the theater. Nice friendly service, calm atmosphere. Didn't have to wait long for our food. Good price-performance ratio.

Delicious lunch. Grilled rooster breast fillet with vegetables in tomato sauce, rice and raw vegetables. Plus a side dish of garlic yoghurt with herbs and bread. To finish I chose hot chocolate, no dessert, good cocoa, no Nesquick ;-) Excellent and tasty food, fast service. Atmospheric. Nice experience

The food tasted very good and there was even saffron ice cream. Food was prepared quickly. Staff attentive. Very well furnished. The only downside: the stairs to the toilet are very steep.

The taste of the salad without dressing was bland. There wasn't enough dressing on the plate. The meat was quite dark, the taste was also a bit bland, you had to taste closely to taste any spice. There were ice cubes floating in the orange juice, which watered it down a bit, OK in midsummer, but in winter? The restaurant was only half full. The cake that was served as dessert looked carelessly put together. The ambience didn't remind me of 1000 and One Nights, rather a bit too modern. The service was quite nice. I just came from Turkey. We had dinner and ice cream at this restaurant upon the recommendation of a Turkish friend. We ate 3 types of Kebab and 2 types of Iranian special food. Everything was perfect. I really loved it. The portion was very filling. I recommend it to everyone👌👌👌

I come to Osnabrück often, and every time I visit this Iranian restaurant, the waiters are professional and very friendly. If you are interested in trying the cuisine of other countries, you should not miss the dishes of this Iranian restaurant - especially the special vegetarian dishes. After dinner we had delicious ice cream from the ice cream parlor for dessert.

Unfortunately very disappointing. I ordered falafel for €6.90. There were three falafels, a dollop of cream and a little parsley for decoration. Thin Arabic flatbread was also added. If the falafel had at least been warm, I wouldn't have said anything, but they were cold and not freshly prepared. To then charge €6.90 for something like that is absolutely outrageous. Service staff were okay but you didn't feel welcome. No smile, no please-thank you, nothing. However, the ambience is very great, especially in the restaurant it is very nice. Unfortunately, toilets didn't seem very clean. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend a visit to the restaurant.

NEVER again! We ordered the 283 Ghorme Sabzi and 2 more dishes, in 283 there was unfortunately used water instead of oil and the rice in 283 and 2 other dishes was mixed with curry and color instead of Safaran. Spoiler alert, stomach can get surprise later.

Never again. We suspect the food is either canned or thawed. It tastes very unhealthy and artificial We are sure the chef has changed because it used to be delicious there. We ourselves come from a Middle Eastern country and have never had food like this in any restaurant. The lentil soup consisted almost entirely of water, was completely thin and clear.

Even though I bought ice cream there - as a customer - I was not allowed to go to the toilet. Never again!

Very tasty and beautifully prepared food. The atmosphere is rather cool, but well-kept, hence a star deduction. But the restaurant as a whole is highly recommended and more of an insider tip, as from the outside it looks purely like an “ice cream parlor”. The ice cream is also very tasty. ;-)

It was actually my first time here, even though the restaurant has been around for a lot longer. Some reviewers complain that the portions have become smaller - for the same price. So I can't judge that. It's a bit confusing when you're there for the first time, as the front part of the shop is occupied by an ice cream parlor (or a "cake counter" out of season). Pleasant, calm service, very friendly. The food was absolutely okay and something special because you don't find Persian cuisine that often here in the region. My companion and I each had a starter and a main course and were full, so in my opinion the portions were okay. We paid (without tip) around EUR 46. The ambience is a bit too “sophisticated” for me personally, but that is of course absolutely a matter of taste. There is a small deduction in the B grade because the toilet rooms were slightly dirty. Otherwise clear recommendation; will definitely come back again.

I was in the restaurant with a friend and we found that the quality of the food was very poor and especially the service was very poor. No wonder there were so few guests in the restaurant.

We were here with the children and we really enjoyed it. We shared an appetizer platter and a grill platter and were well fed. The service was nice and courteous, the food was extremely good. When we are in Osnabrück again we will come back.

Top Location, allerdings etwas teurer für das was man bekommt (kleine Portionen). Den Geschmack muss man mögen, ich fand es persönlich in Ordnung. Paar Punkte Abzug gibt es für die danach kommenden Magenprobleme.

In der Fußgängerzone von Osnabrück schnell zu Mittag gegessen. Von außen sehr unscheinbar, Tische teilt man sich mit La Luna Eis. 5 Mittags Gerichte auf der Karte, inklusive einem Softdrink. Wir hatten 2 verschiedene Gerichte, beide schmeckten super, auch schön angerichtet. Gehen wir bestimmt noch einmal hin wenn wir in Osnabrück sind.
