Marktschanke in Osnabrück

Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen. Das war richtige Hausmannskost. Es war richtig lecker und man kann es nur Jedem weiterempfehlen

We dined here our 1st night in Osnabrueck. We had reservations, and a table was waiting for us. Sorry it's taken so long to write this review. We were seated at a table near the open end of the bar. It was sort of dark inside, but it only added to the atmosphere. I had 2 .5l Steiger (dunkel) beers. Other half had a glass of white wine(even though the receipt said Merlot?). We ordered, and they seemed to forget we had done so. Once we pointed out how long it had been, they realized that our orders were not put in! We did get our food about 10 minutes later. I had Jaeger Schnitzel w fries and salad. Other half Leberkaese w egg on top plus Red Cabbage & Potatoes. Beer was very good, but food was average German bar food. The men's room was interesting with sayings on the wall! I probably wouldn't return here since we had just as good meal the next night at the Holiday Inn (where we were staying) for a better price without the 1 km walk! I would have tried the Rampendahl Haus around the corner for lunch the next day, but they weren't open until evening. It had a higher rating so I wish we had gone there instead, but maybe next time! In summary, average German bar food w great German beer. The best thing was the bathroom!

Sehr gutes Essen in uriger Atmosphäre. Die Portionen sind reichlich, die Bedienung sehr nett. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Es ist total gemütlich und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort und haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Osnabrück werden wir sicher wieder dort einkehren. Das Lokal ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Urige Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen, leckeres Bier, schneller Service, sehr schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, leider für nächsten Abend bereits ausgebucht - ansonsten wären wir sehr gerne nochmals gekommen.

Restaurante com pratos típicos da culinária alemã no centro da cidade. Porém, diferentemente de outros restaurantes, esse é desconhecido dos turistas e praticamente só frequentado por moradores locais. Comida excelente; farta e saborosa. Atendimento impecável das garçonetes. Quem sabe agora receberá mais turistas...

Urige Atmosphäre und rustikaler Scharm. Essen schmeckt sehr gut und war schnell zubereitet. Auch das "Gilde" Bier ist zu empfehlen.
