Das Menue mit verschiedenen Spezialitäten für zwei Personen für 49 Euro war sehr fein und reichhaltig, sehr freundliche Bedienung

Mein erster Besuch in einem syrischen Restaurant und ich war restlos begeistert! Dank der gemischten Teller konnten wir viele verschiedene Gerichte probieren. Es hat fantastisch geschmeckt und die Speisen waren so wunderschön angerichtet. Ein Hauch von Orient und absolut empfehlenswert!

Mit meiner Familie hatte ich hier ein unheimlich leckeres und gemütliches Abendessen. Die syrischen Speisen sind ausnahmslos fantastisch lecker. Das Personal ist gelassen, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Erste Klasse

Es war ein wundervoller Abend im fantastischen Damascus Restaurant. Es war ein tolles Restaurant und der Service war sehr gut. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur jedem empfehlen.

Leider war es eine schlechte Erfahrung. Das Essen war kalt, besonders das Hähnchen ohne Knochen, das auf dem Herd zubereitet wurde. Die Portion war sehr klein und die rote Soße wurde nicht angerührt. Selbst die Teller waren klein, und es fehlte jegliche Großzügigkeit!

Wir sind mittlerweile Stammgäste, und haben uns über die Jahre einmal durch die gesamte Speisekarte probiert. Um die syrische Küche vollumfänglich kennenzulernen, empfehlen wir die vegetarische oder die Fleisch-Kombi. Unbedingt das Rosenwasser probieren, es gibt wahrscheinlich kein besseres Getränk an warmen Tagen! Super nettes Team mit ganz wunderbaren Service.

Wir haben für eine Gruppe von 15 Leuten reserviert. Es wurde für uns extra früher geöffnet und ein großes Family Dinner vorbereitet. Es hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und auch die Absprachen vorab einfach und verlässlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Vielen Dank und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber leider ist die Portion viel zu klein, wurde nicht satt dort trotz Nachbestellung. ​Besonders enttäuschend fand ich den Service: Obwohl in der Karte mit Herzlichkeit geworben wird, war die Bedienung sehr abweisend. Auch auf meine Nachfrage, wie man den Mokka trinkt, wurde mir nichts erklärt. Schade, die tolle Gastfreundschaft aus der Karte habe ich leider nicht erlebt. Riesen Empfehlung! Wir waren zu viert dort und haben zwei gemischte Platten bestellt. Wir hatten ein paar Sonderwünsche und alles wurde berücksichtigt. Das Essen war richtig lecker, wir waren alle begeistert. Wir haben zum ersten Mal Dattelsaft getrunken das war sooooo gut!! Der Service war top wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, danke für den schönen Abend!

Hier erwartet dich ein Erlebnis. Super aufmerksamer Service, tolle Atmosphäre und - für meinen Geschmack - viele bisher nicht bekannte Gerichte. Aber obacht, das Lokal ist alkoholfrei. Wir haben zu Mittag gegessen, es war wenig los, was vermutlich auch der Aufmerksamkeit zuträglich war. Das Essen ist sehr schön angerichtet, geschmackvoll und qualitativ hochwertig. Das Gemüse war knackig und gut gewürzt. Der Hummus sehr lecker und das Baba Ganoush ein Gedicht. Die Streifen aus Rindfleisch hätten etwas zarter und saftiger sein können. Preislich im Rahmen, die Portionen nicht allzu groß, was insofern angenehm ist, weil du auch Vorspeisen probieren kannst, ohne total voll aufzustehen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Eine Bereicherung für die Vielfalt in Passau.

Super leckeres Essen und faire Preise.

Wir hatten ursprünglich geplant, an Silvester woanders zu essen, aber das Restaurant hatte geschlossen. Also entschieden wir uns für die zweite Option, und ich bin froh darüber. Das Essen, das Ambiente, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, die Sauberkeit – alles top! Wir bestellten zwei Hauptgerichte, Pommes und ein Dessert. Sowohl Hähnchen als auch Lamm waren butterzart. Es gab auch eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Vom Dessert träume ich immer noch. Ich hätte mir nur etwas mehr Soße gewünscht, aber wir bekamen zweimal kostenlos Nachschub.

Gutes Restaurant Die Gerichte haben uns gut geschmeckt. Das Essen war schön angerichtet. Der Mokka am Ende war ein Traum und hat alles abgerundet. Preisleistung ist angemessen. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant Safi in Passau war ein rundum gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Das Restaurant entführt seine Gäste mit Spezialitäten aus Damaskus in die syrische Küche und überzeugt dabei nicht nur geschmacklich, sondern auch mit viel Atmosphäre und Herzlichkeit. Schon beim Betreten fällt das sehr schöne, geschmackvoll gestaltete Ambiente auf, das sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Der Service war durchweg äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken – man fühlt sich willkommen und bestens betreut. Als Vorspeisen entschieden wir uns für Baba Ghanouj, Fattousch und Mousaqqa. Alle drei Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, authentisch gewürzt und hervorragend abgeschmeckt. Besonders das Baba Ghanouj überzeugte mit seiner cremigen Konsistenz und feinen Rauchnote, während der Fattousch angenehm leicht und erfrischend war. Die Mousaqqa rundete die Vorspeisenauswahl perfekt ab. Zum Hauptgang wählten wir Fatah Bisamna und Faroush M’Sahab. Beide Gerichte waren liebevoll und ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Die Aromen waren harmonisch, intensiv und sehr ausgewogen – man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Können und Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch der Mokka zum Abschluss war ein echtes Highlight: kräftig, aromatisch und der perfekte Abschluss eines gelungenen Essens. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Qualität der Speisen, die Portionsgröße und der Service stehen in einem mehr als fairen Verhältnis zum Preis. Fazit: Das Restaurant Safi ist eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die authentische syrische Küche in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen möchten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr nettem Service in sehr schönem Ambiente

Wir hatten Schaschlik und Kabseh, dazu Rosenwasser und hausgemachten Dattelsaft. Ich kannte die syrische Küche vorher nicht, aber obwohl mir die Gewürze fremd waren, harmonierten alle Komponenten des Kabseh unglaublich gut. Es war köstlich. Das Hähnchen war perfekt zart und unglaublich saftig. 10/10 Ich hatte noch nie Dattelsaft getrunken, aber ich glaube, ich habe mein neues Lieblingsgetränk gefunden. Selbst wenn ich das Essen außer Acht lasse, würde ich allein dafür wiederkommen. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und erklärte auf Nachfrage gerne die einzelnen Gerichte. Insgesamt ein wunderbares Erlebnis, und ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die besten und saftigsten Falafel die ich je gegessen habe und wir hatten das halbe Hähnchen( eingelegt), mit Joghurt, Kartoffeln, Möhren und Reis. Kalbsfleisch mit Gemüse. Anschließend gab es Tee vom Gastgeber.

Wir waren zu sechst im Restaurant Safi. Wir haben gemischte Gerichte bestellt und waren durchweg begeistert! Alles super lecker und abwechslungsreich gewürzt. Die Menge hat genau gepasst, aber wir hätten noch nach bekommen, wären wir nicht satt geworden. Tolles familiäres Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Lediglich den Fernseher im Gastraum verstehen wir nicht. Der hat nicht reingepasst und gestört/abgelenkt ;-)

The service was very unfriendly. The food was served on a chipped plate. I ordered mixed vegan appetizers for my main course and, even though I can generally only eat small portions, I left feeling hungry. It tasted very good, but unfortunately, something was seriously wrong, as I barely made it back to the hotel to rid myself of this "treat."

There were two of us there, and I couldn't finish my first order after the first forkful because, unfortunately, it wasn't my taste at all. Service was excellent - without any discussion, they recommended another dish. I think in the end, it was the chef, with whom I had a pleasant little chat, who also didn't charge for the dish, which I found very accommodating and customer-friendly - and I tipped well for that :) I can recommend it!

We were able to celebrate our Nikah at Safi's, and we are more than happy and satisfied. Absolutely everything was meticulously planned and organized by the host. The carpet-decorated room in the basement can be used specifically for the Nikah ceremony. It has a pleasant, elegant atmosphere that is perfect for a quiet ceremony. Hello, we were at Safi today. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations – it could have been a bit more seasoned. Because our plates were still half full at the end, we were offered a replacement meal, as "no guest should leave the restaurant hungry," but we didn't want that anymore. What a shame.

This was by far one of the most disgusting restaurant experiences I've ever had. Hair in the food—and not just anywhere, but right in the sandwich. Absolutely disgusting and a joke in terms of hygiene. The falafel were still raw, mushy, and inedible inside. I seriously wonder if the kitchen even knows how to fry. Safi Restaurant? Never again. The mere thought of it still makes my stomach churn. Things like this shouldn't even be open.

Here you'll find a journey to Damascus! If you want to take your palate on a new journey of flavors, you'll be well served here! Traditionally, Syrians eat with their hands. When I asked how it's done, the waitress immediately brought out gloves and explained, in a very hygienic way, how to make a boat with the bread to send the hummus on a journey of flavor. Extremely delicious food! We had the mixed platter for two recommended by the waitress, so we, who had no previous contact with Syrian food, could get a broad overview right away! We will definitely be back!!! My highlight: beans with tomato sauce and coriander and the fried bread with chickpeas!

Great Mediterranean cuisine. Lots of vegetarian options. Spicy but not hot, great hummus, falafel, and salads. It's best to go with a group of people and order a shared platter, or everyone can choose their own meze (appetizer) and have everything placed in the middle for everyone to help themselves to. Syrian food only becomes truly authentic when the entire table is filled with plates... Very attentive service, reasonable value for money.

Yesterday, I and my friends were able to enjoy the wonderful ambiance and truly delicious food at Safi Restaurant. We received a warm welcome and were given a great seat by the window, allowing us to watch the hustle and bustle of Passau's old town. We opted for a mixed meat platter, and we absolutely loved it. We tucked away. We also loved the specialty drinks, like the date juice. All in all, it was a three-hour visit that left nothing to be desired. We'll definitely be back! Thank you :)

I was at Safi Restaurant in Passau today and would like to honestly describe my mixed impressions. I enjoyed Turkish cuisine – and yes, the food here tasted really good. The hummus was well-seasoned, the dishes freshly prepared, so basically solid. But unfortunately, my visit was severely marred by several things. When the waiter came, there was a fly in the hummus – it completely ruined my appetite. I was simply out. On top of that, the place seemed generally unkempt. The restrooms smelled extremely bad, which massively spoiled the overall impression. The drinks were also lukewarm – a real no-go in warm weather. What particularly disappointed me was the atmosphere. I usually love Turkish restaurants with live music, but here the music created a depressing mood rather than a good mood. There was no sense of hospitality or warmth that I usually experience in Turkish restaurants. Today, therefore, I can only give it two stars. It's a shame, because the food alone has potential – but everything around it needs to improve significantly for me to come back.

I had high expectations when I visited this restaurant, but was unfortunately disappointed. The food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Despite a prior reservation, our table was not clean upon arrival and we were seated elsewhere instead. The prices are absolutely overpriced for the amount of food on offer. I paid 20 euros for a dish called "Sherhard M'Taffaie" which had hardly anything to offer. It was supposed to be a steak dish, but what I got were thin strips of steak, and the plate was filled mostly with vegetables rather than meat. Additionally, we ordered tea that was already heavily sweetened - which I think is incomprehensible, especially considering people who might have diabetes, for example. To make matters worse, I wanted to try the sandwiches advertised on the restaurant's website. However, these were crossed out on the local menu. When asked, the staff explained that the sandwiches had not been offered for a long time. Why hasn't this information been removed from the website long ago? Overall my experience was disappointing and I would not recommend this restaurant.

Safi means pure, clear and unclouded in Arabic. This word also describes the culinary dishes that the restaurant offers in careful selection and balanced combinations. Very friendly staff, great oriental ambience and fair prices. Warmly recommended.

Everything was very bad compared to Arabic restaurants in Berlin and western Germany and prices are very expensive compared to restaurants in Berlin for a restaurant in a city like Passau. I do not recommend this Arab restaurant so you can go to Munich and enjoy the quality of restaurants there because it is close to Passau

We happened to walk past it on a trip to Passau. I had never had Syrian food before and was completely surprised. The very tasty food and friendly, good-humoured staff made the short stop something special.
