Our first night in Berlin we were craving Indian food and came across this wonderful joint. The food was a lot and it was all amazing. I particularly enjoyed their shai paneer, our server (I believe his name was Veer) was very accommodating and ensured that we were enjoying our food. Thank you so much for satisfying our cravings! ❤️

Good prices for good food. I had the Lamb Vandaloo (well-seasoned with medium heat), my partner had the Mango Chicken (sweet and incredibly tender).

Extremely amazing place! I’ve been here the 6th time already and every time is better and better!!!! My personal recommendation is always the classical Butter Chicken - the rice is soft, the source is flavours, and the chicken is literally melting in your mouth 🤤🤤😋👍🩷 Thank you for a great experience once again!

Good food, friendly service and a nice vibe inside the restaurant . Prices are a bit on the higher side (for Berlin) as we ended up with 45 eur total plus 5 EUR tipp - 25 pp, but we had a nice time. We had the chicken Tikka as well as a creamy tomato sauce and a flatbread. Mango lassi was also very nice! Overall: recommend! Enjoy 😊

After a long day of roaming Berlin, we ended up at the East Side Gallery. Nearby is the sprawling area of Kreuzburg. We randomly selected Sadhu while on our way to another restaurant and ended up changing our plans once we saw people enjoying their meals outside. Our waitress Shivani was patient with our questions and helped us pick exactly what we wanted. As you can see in the pictures below, the serving sizes are generous - we had to take a few home. The food itself tasted very authentic and favorable. The service was excellent as well - making this a must visit for anyone visiting the eastern side of Berlin.

Can't recommend more! The dishes that we ordered were big and so flavorful. Some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. They brought us mango lasi for free which was so nice.

We had the lunch meal deal. We had the soup as a starter, which was nice. The lamb curry was good and the lamb vindaloo had the perfect spicyness. It came with bread and rice. I would recommend trying this is you want Indian 😀

Recommendation: Pay attention to the prices, e.g., Vindaloo outside/card inside/receipt—three different price lists, I don't think that's acceptable! Even though I always enjoyed eating at Sadhu 🙏

Great place! Very authentic (it seemed authentic to me - to be honest I can’t say what authentic Pakistan food tastes like since I have never been there, but I’ll take the risk!) The sauces are quite unique and the meat was really well prepared. Try the tandoori entree meat dishes to share - they are amazing…

One of the best Pakistani restaurants. If someone is on visit to Berlin, then it must try. Food was extremely good, real desi touch with spices. Naan bread was amazing and cherry on top was karak chai. We also tried poori which also doesn’t disappoint us. Staff and their service was impressive. Thank you for amazing food:)

Wir waren am frühen Abend dort, es gab daher genug freie Tische. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und uns wurde sofort Papadam mit drei „würzigen“ Soßen gereicht. Später gab es leckere Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte, alle toll gewürzt. Da es uns jedoch etwas an Schärfe fehlte, haben wir noch „Hot Sauce“ gefragt, die auch ohne Probleme an unseren Tisch geliefert wurde und ja, diese war angenehm scharf. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist topp. Wir würden hier immer wieder hingehen.

I would like to thank all the nice employees in the restaurant. We were there yesterday to break our fast, and the friendly staff gave us a very warm welcome. Our food arrived at just the right time – soup first, then the main course and drinks. He even served us dates, water and a delicious lassi. The food was very tasty! The rice was fragrant and professionally prepared. The chicken saag was excellent and the lamb curry was also very good. Thank you for making our evening and dinner so special!

Great Pakistani food, super flavorful with generous portions. The food is also not too spicy. A price-performance recommendation. The only thing that leaves something to be desired are the 🚽 TOILETS. But otherwise everything was great.

Weder das Essen, noch die Bedienung haben uns überzeugt. Der Vorspeisenteller war gut, das Hauptgericht, Hähnchencurry leider gar nicht. Die Fleischteile waren undefinierbar und das Curry geschmacklos. Die Bedienung uninteressiert und lieblos. Vielleicht daher der ständige kommen und gehen der Lieferantenservice.

Good food and good restaurant and staff are very economy friendly

Friendly and professional service. We had 2x chicken curry and 1x chicken korma. The former cost 13.90 each, €6 more expensive each than in the neighboring restaurant. The latter cost £9 more than the neighboring restaurant, €18.90. Sauces were tasty, rice was tasty and there was enough quantity. The chicken was translucent with a strange consistency and was sent back to the kitchen, except for 2-3 pieces each. Inedible in my opinion. I understand that food is expensive and therefore prices in restaurants are higher than they were recently. However, at an additional cost of 21€/3 people, I expect a better quality meal than "next door", where the quality is similar. I've been from Kreuzberg for 40 years and have no understanding of restaurant concepts that rely on tourists who won't come back anyway. So for me, one less restaurant that I will visit in my neighborhood.

We had just sat down and said hello when a small soup and papadum bread with 3 sauces were brought to us on the house. Then we ordered a drink and were also served a mango lassi on the house. With the menu (Shahi Kofta and Sabzi, both very tasty), we were served a Bathura bread with the usual rice at the house's expense. At the end there was a free mango schnapps. The food came quickly, even though there were many guests in the restaurant. The service was impeccable and we left the establishment completely satisfied. Price ratio is also right. Definitely worth eating there.

Update : Once again I want to mention that usually the food is good from Sadhu but I am mostly writing this review to raise awareness that when somebody writes spicy, this does not mean adding a lot of chillies on top. I ordered the food and as usual everything was good but this time also I wrote indian spicy. But in the gravy I could chew the chillies, probably the ratio of curry vs chilly was 50/50 and we literally could not eat at all. My mouth is still burning.

We usually go to Sadhu at Falckensteinstraße 41 for luch as it's near to our office and you get the best food. We recently ordered food for 100 people from them for an office event, and the experience was outstanding! The food was a hit with everyone. The menu included 'Chicken Jalfrezi', 'Chicken Curry', 'Chana Masala', 'Naan', 'Rice', and the refreshing 'Mango Lassi'. Each dish was flavourful and well-prepared. The Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Curry had the perfect balance of spices, while the Chana Masala was a favourite amongst the vegetarians. The naan was soft and fresh, pairing perfectly with the rich curries. The Mango Lassi added a sweet, cooling finish to the meal. Overall, the quality and taste of the food exceeded our expectations, and we received nothing but positive feedback from our team. Highly recommend for individual dining or for catering large events!

Came here with my classmates for a quick drink and bite during our graduation celebration. The staff are unbelievably kind and so quick to make a big table for a big group!
