Really delicious and authentic Indian-Pakistani food. Their selection of menu items is pretty extensive, especially the starters. We loved the chicken lehsuni starter. It takes time as it is freshly prepared. Our waiter Umar was very jovial in nature. He made sure we had a good time. It's also spacious, so ideal for large groups. The only little complaint would be their beer price. EUR 6.2 feels a bit higher for bottled beers.

I went to Chelany, a Pakistani-Indian restaurant at the location marked by Google. The food was extremely delicious, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and modern.

Unfortunately, the food was far too sweet and, unlike what was advertised on the menu, not a bit spicy. The cheese naan had a hint of cheese, barely noticeable. Portions were large but the sauce was actually inedibly sweet but whoever likes it. Too bad

Had the best Biryani in Germany from here! I’m from Karachi so I told them to keep it spicy and they didn’t disappoint. One serving was enough for 2 people. The aloo bhujia wasn’t that great though.

We had a menu for 2, costing 34 euros. It was a good amount of food. Delicious lamb and chicken.

The food was okay overall. The ambience was quite nice. We liked the palak paneer and the Mutton Rogan Josh (the best from what we ate). The Chicken Dahiwala was alright. The tandoori platter was a bit disappointing since that's not the idea of tandoori that I had in mind (dry). Still tasty anyway. The staff did a great job. They were kind and helpful.

Cocktails were very good and inexpensive. Service was very good. Unfortunately the table was stuck and it was unfortunately very loud.

Very tasty food that came within a very short time. We had just taken off our jackets when the appetizer arrived. We had a mixed starter plate and the Shahi Kofta, both were very filling; one of the two would have been absolutely enough. However, it was quite busy and incredibly loud, so we left with a headache

Sometimes I come for work lunch (great prices for Mitte, still), and sometimes I order from them. When you eat there, the gravies are delicious, so is the biryani, but the gravies are usually part of the business lunch deals and very tasty and high quality, with great portion size and lots of meat if you eat meat, else good paneer amount. When you order, I can really recommend the Biryani. It’s flavourful (even the veg one!) and the portion size is amazing. Also, Raita is included, so no need to make it yourself at home (not all restaurants include the raita). I have never been disappointed and will continue going to Chelany for Indian food! Wir sind zufällig zum Mittagstisch vorbeigekommen. Für 10 Euro gab es vorab eine sehr leckere Suppe und danach das beste pakistanische Enten-Curry mit Reis und Naan-Brot. Die Gewürze sind einfach nur bombastisch. Für den Preis habe ich schon lange nicht mehr so reichhaltig und gut gegessen. Danke!! Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

The food was so delicious! However, mind the servings. I think one serving is good for 1.5-2 people There were 3 of us eating, but 2 dishes would have been enough.

+ Really tasty & healthy food, good price and nice big generous portions, respectful waiters, clean WC, nice atmosphere, not crowded, superfast service. - It's a bit hard to use their sinks. Summer tables are near the noisy road. My forks and spoons were not very clean. (this may be a bit better) Totally would come again, because the food is really good and affordable. It is a really good place, 9999 out of 100

A nice place, you can sit outside and let the city work its magic on you and you become part of the pulse of the times, when I was there there was a demonstration taking place. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. A large menu offers a large selection of drinks and food, including a variety of vegan dishes that are not expensive either. The only thing you should consider when it comes to the dishes is how spicy you like to eat, as the dishes are very spicy.

You can eat better Indian food in Berlin and just as cheaply. I had to ask for the bill four times and then I received an interim receipt.

Leider hatten wir keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht. Begonnen hat es mit einem Weizen-Bier vom Fass, das leider nur“Zimmertemperatur“ hatte und ich es deshalb zurück gehen ließ. Der Ersatz war dann okay. Wir hatten eine gemischte vegetarische Vorspeise für 2 Personen bestellt. Diese war leider ziemlich trocken und konnte nur mit einer zusätzlichen Bestellung von div. Soßen gegessen werden konnte. Als Hauptgang hatten wir dann eine Kombi aus 3 versch. vegetarischen Gerichten. Erwartet hatte ich Speisen mit lecker abgestimmten Gewürzen, statt dessen schmeckte alles langweilig und fade, das beste war der fluffige Reis. Aber das war‘s dann auch schon - leider schade! Ich werde nicht mehr hingehen und es auch nicht empfehlen.

We had the 35, which was a bit spicy, but you have to expect that. Then there was the 37 which was mild, both were very good and plentiful. The owners are very nice, everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed happy hour. The cocktails were also very good. The price-performance ratio is also right here. We'd love to come back.

One of the best curries I’ve had in Berlin! Great flavour of spice and herbs. The meat is succulent and juicy. Really loved the lamb rogan josh which was deliciously spicy (if you enjoy spice!). First time trying a salty lassi which was interesting. Recommend if you want a better curry experience :)

My first Pakistani meal. Strong spices, some unknown to us. The lamb was sometimes too hard for my 57 year old teeth 🦷. The green sauce that is served at the beginning is extremely spicy. The people next to me had warned them, but unfortunately not me 🥵. The salad served was fresh but unseasoned, which turned out to be an advantage after the main course. So eat the salad only when the main course is served, to balance out the spices. Otherwise a good recommendation.

Waiter asks how much you want to pay (are we at a flea market here where prices are negotiated?), is annoyed when you pay by card, the question is why, didn't want to split the bill, despite the amounts being equal. Long waiting times, despite empty restaurants. Meat was gristly, salad was missing. Sauces had no taste of their own, were just spicy. Service & food is much better in Berlin.

Wow! You don't expect that. Very, very spicy food. Not to be confused with hot, some dishes are hot, and all of them are full of spice. We ordered Chicken Dahiwala (white meat, creamy sauce) and Chicken Chili (amazing chili taste, the hot grade just right for a European consumer). The size of the dishes is just right: it feeds you well, but you won't leave food on the plate. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available at a very reasonable price. Amazing evening ambience.

Nice, clean restaurant with good, fast service. The quality of the food was excellent. The pakoras were excellent. The meat was so soft and tasty. I've only had the Bathura better, otherwise everything was great.

Ein nettes, schlicht eingerichtetes Lokal. Wer vorzügliches Essen und aufmerksamen Service möchte, ist hier richtig. Die Portionen sind großzügig und die Preise angemessen. Das Essen kam sehr zügig, der Kellner war freundlich und alles was wir hatten, von der Mango Lassi, bis zu dem Gerichten schmeckte frisch und aromatisch. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Das Mittagsmenü angenehm günstig. Trotzdem es voll war ging alles sehr schnell. Iwar sehr zufrieden.

Das essen ist super und lecker. Ich esse hier sehr oft und es schmeckt immer gut. Besonders mag ich deren Lamm Curry, Lamm Vindaloo , Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Roti, Tandoori naan und deren Mango lassi. Es ist immer ein genuss und der Service ist unglaublich nett. Leider ist das Restaurant oft fast leer, das meiner Meinung nach unverdient ist.

Have been to this restaurant 4-5 times in the last 1 year. Amazing food, great staff. This is as close as you can get to the authentic Indian-Pakistani food. Would keep visiting it in future too.
