Wir kamen eine Stunde vor Ladenschluss und wurden überaus freundlich bedient! Es war köstlich, aber Achtung: Die Portionen sind riesig und das Chili-Knoblauch-Naan ist EXTRA scharf!

Der wahre Geschmack der Küche des Subkontinents. Was für eine fantastische Entdeckung in Neukölln! Dieses pakistanische Restaurant serviert unglaublich leckeres, authentisches Essen voller Geschmack. Vom ersten Moment an war der Service erstklassig, freundlich und effizient. Die Gerichte wurden frisch zubereitet und mit wunderbaren, perfekt abgestimmten Gewürzen verfeinert. Die lebhafte und gemütliche Atmosphäre sorgte für ein rundum gelungenes Esserlebnis. Es ist eindeutig ein beliebter Treffpunkt – und das aus gutem Grund! Ich war wirklich beeindruckt von den großzügigen Portionen und den fairen Preisen. Wenn Sie in der Gegend sind und gutes Essen lieben, sollten Sie unbedingt hier essen gehen. Es war mit Abstand eines der besten Essen, die ich je in Berlin hatte. Absolut genial!

Wir gehen hier oft mittags oder abends essen oder bestellen Gerichte zum Mitnehmen. Es ist unser absolutes Lieblingslokal in der Nachbarschaft. Das Essen ist wunderbar , die Preise gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. <3

Wir waren spontan da, weil wir zu Besuch in Berlin sind und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden! Essen war wirklich lecker und der Service sehr gut. Es gab einfach Papad als Vorspeise kostenlos und einen Salat. Der Mango Lassi war extrem lecker! Fast schade, dass sie ihn selber machen, hätte ihn sonst gerne im Laden gekauft. Von der Menge war alles sehr reichlich und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis wirklich sehr gut. Hoffe sie lassen die Preise, weil sowas findet man heutzutage kaum. Butter chicken war ca 14€, bei uns in der Stadt gibt es sowas für ca 20-25€. Wirklich top!

Ich habe Tandoori Tali bestellt und es hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Es wird auf einem Metalltablett serviert und enthält zwei kleine Hähnchenflügelstücke mit sehr wenig Fleisch und kaum Soße, fast nichts, etwas Linsen- und Bohnen-Dal und der Reis sah aus, als wäre er gestern gekocht worden.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, RIESENportionen und super Service. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Hervorragendes Essen und auch ein toller Service (selten in Berlin). Gehen Sie nicht ins Amrit, sondern hierher. Manpreet ji war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend!

Seit über 10 Jahren komm ich regelmäßig hier her und hab es noch nie bereut :) Die Qualität ist immer top gewesen und egal was ich bisher gegessen habe, es war immer lecker. Das so konstant anbieten zu können über viele Jahre hinweg, das muss man erstmal schaffen. Also großes Lob an die Küche. Die Portionen sind ordentlich, oft nehm ich sogar noch was für Zuhause mit. Preis/Leistung ist also sehr gut. Mein persönlichen Favoriten sind Palak Paneer (wahrscheinlich das beste der Stadt) und Butter Chicken. Service Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Einzig die musikalische Untermalung begeistert mich nicht, aber das ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache. Geräuschpegel ist völlig in Ordnung, man kann sich angenehm unterhalten auch wenn's voller ist. Größere Gruppen sollten reservieren, sonst findet sich meist ein Plätzchen. Also wer pakistanische/nordindische Küche mag, wird das Chelany lieben, eine klare Empfehlung!

Essen war suuuper lecker 😋 ein Gaumen Schmaus für wenig Geld. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam höflich und sehr nett.

Ein wirklich tolles pakistanisches Restaurant in Berlin. Schönes Ambiente. Das Essen war köstlich. Sauber und gute Lage. Der Service ist hervorragend und das Personal freundlich.

Die Bedienung hatte uns gefragt, ob wir denn eine gute Bewertung für ein Freigetränk da lassen würden... Dabei hat dieses Lokal Bestechung gar nicht nötig. Das Essen ist sehr gut gemacht, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Eines unserer Stammlokale in Berlin. :)

Nachdem sie uns 3 Fälsche Gerichte gegeben hatten, ließen sie uns mit dem Essen ständig hin und her laufen und sagten jedes Mal etwas anderes! Unglaublich unhöflich. Wir bestellen hier nie wieder

I was confused to visit which restaurant for trying veg thali , I came across this Pakistani restaurant , I tried there food first time , it was amazing and service was extremely friendly, as living in Berlin for 1.5 year , I’d rate this restaurant for Indian /pakistani cuisine 10/10 , must visit.

Chelany is a great little gem in the neighbourhood. Quick and friendly waiters who always wear a smile. The naan is garlicky and soft. The dishes are shareable and the washrooms were in great condition.

Chicken Jahlfrezi in the evening just before closing. Not a good choice. Poor quality, both chicken and sauce. Appearance isn't everything.

I was at Chelany's today and ordered tikka chicken. A large, well-balanced portion: crisp vegetables in sauce, plenty of tender, marinated chicken, rice, and a side salad. Everything seemed fresh and not greasy, but pleasantly balanced. For €14.50, in Berlin, it was a great value. To start, I had two crispy papadums with three different sauces. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. I had a large lassi with it – and to finish, there was a small mango lassi on the house. Very nice gesture! The only small drawback: I would have preferred more spice complexity. I know from Indian friends that they use many times more spices at home than in restaurants here. If things are similarly spicy in Pakistan, then this was more of a "Germanized" version. Nevertheless, the flavor was well-rounded and absolutely solid. Conclusion: Good, large food, lots of chicken, friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. I'll be back.

We had a loveless and tasteless lunch earlier: starter soup, salad and main course - all served together on a canteen tin tray... What a waste of money! (How beautiful it was here recently.)

Anyone who has always wanted to eat Pakistani food will find a wide range of possible dishes with and without meat at Chelany. There is also a cocktail happy hour at certain times. Good to know: The lunch offer is only valid from Monday to Friday, i.e. not on weekends. On weekends the normal evening prices apply at lunchtime.

Wonderful food! We can regularly and almost always eat the vegetarian thali. The best is Shofta (?) Kofta (otherwise Malai Kofta). You can also order on site and take away

Unfortunately the delivery didn't go well. Drinks were poured into a cup and the cup was “sealed” with aluminum foil. Accordingly, all drinks spilled out and were distributed in the plastic bag. Same thing with the soup. The lid of the soup was off. Delivery: one plastic bag filled with drinks and soup please 🥲

Dues is a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant. The atmosphere is good, the food is tasty, the service is friendly, reserved but present. I would be happy to come back and try the other dishes on the menu.
