WOW! This is by far the best Pakistani in Berlin and Brandenburg;-) the cuisine is so authentic, I only know it from home or my homeland. The biryani was as I remembered it as a child, just like the pakora kadhai in yogurt (except for the yogurt with coconut) but still perfect! The lassis were just perfect and the Roohafzah Lemonade was 100 out of 10 given the weather! The service was very nice and the prices were also quite ok. Next time I'll try kofta and daal, sure!

I honestly went with very high expectations thinking the place has authentic pakistani food but I didn’t like the food at all. It didn’t taste pakistani at all. I appreciate the efforts made by the owner and the kitchen staff but honestly the food quality is bad. I was very very disappointed with the biryani. It’s not biryani. The rice was so much cooked and without a real taste and same with chicken.. I had a sweet Lassi and it was like I’m drinking white milk with sugar. The chai too wasn’t as good as I expected. Very disappointed. But the staff and the ambiance of the place are nice.

One of the best meals I’ve had in the area! I took the köfte which had a very satisfying level of spice and chilli. Will come back to try the rest of the menu.

They have one of the best biryanis in Berlin! Could be a bit spicy though! It sucks that at times, it’s over very quickly! The dhal of the day could have varieties I guess, but it’s usually the channa dhal all the time atleast I have had. Their coconut cardamom kheer is just too good.🤤

Very cosy place, great food, great ambiance. The staff was also super nice. Tried their samosa chat, a bit expensive, but worth it.

Small, sweet snack. But if you confuse Pakistani food with Indian food, you won't be happy here. Everyone is very nice and friendly. There is a slightly cool lighting atmosphere, which doesn't make it particularly comfortable.

Not a long menu but everything offered is absolutely delicious. If you have a stereotypical German palette, you might find some of the dishes on the scharf side, but I personally love and appreciate the heat. This place has been on my „want to go list for a long time“, I’m happy I finally made it in. Definitely a go to spot from now on. PS: beautiful, bright and cheerful interior space too💖

Was here just before Christmas 2023 with friends. Such a welcoming place, with friendly lady running it. It was cold outside and the chair with light, crispy, melt-in-the-mouth rusk was a dream. I craved heat and was happy with the dal. The paratha bread was so light and flaky, really really good. The tamarind and mint chutneys were also great and you can buy them there. Would come back any time!!!

Pretty decent for Berlin, no complaints. I’ve had better though Biriyani was good, probably best in Berlin you can find. Chaat was a bit too watery and didn’t have so much flavor, but it was also pretty good.

I really enjoyed the chai and Biryani, I only wish that they had bigger portions. And as a Pakistani myself, I wondered why Pakistani employees aren't hired. Just gave me a weird feeling ordering chai and hearing a white female employee say "chai tea" (she was nice tho).

The only good curry I've had in Germany.

Ihr Essen hat mich zurück nach Hause geschickt, es hat mich an die Küche meiner Mutter erinnert. Wir haben das Essen durchweg genossen, es war das authentischste pakistanische Essen, das ich bisher in Deutschland gegessen habe. Die Speisekarte ist kurz und lecker. Wir waren zu Besuch in Berlin und werden vielleicht wiederkommen, um das Essen von Mama Shabz zu probieren. Die Einrichtung ist erstaunlich, erinnert mich an kleine Restaurants in Pakistan. Außerdem war das Personal sehr nett. An einem Werktag war das Lokal ziemlich voll, man sollte also unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren.

Ein super neuer Laden inmitten Kreuzberg. Geschmacklich großartig, alles frisch zubereitet, nettes Personal und in tollen Farben eingerichtet. Der Preis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt. Ich kann diesen Laden zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Top!

as someone who grew up with indian/pakistani food in england and having been searching for a good curry in berlin for almost 10 years without much luck, I had high hopes for this place. sorry to say but the food is just really bland and lacks any of depth of flavour you look for in a good curry. I came away really disappointed and with my ears ringing as the restaurant walls are tiled and the place is small, meaning you can’t hear the person sitting opposite you without shouting. the service was good although a bit manic. I wanted to really like this place but unfortunately it’s a no-go

Everything was nicely spiced, delicious. It felt like I was eating from a Pakistani auntie ❤️ also prices were pretty good. I will def come again. (No toilets in the restaurant)

Great meal! Went there last week for dinner and had the Aloo Tikki - yummy fried potato pancakes - and the Kofta Andaa - juicy meatballs. My friend loved the Biryani. Everything was so flavorful. Love the space. It's cozy and gets busy especially on a Friday evening, but it kind of adds a fun, family style vibe to the meal. Definitely recommend!

Disappointing biryani, dry and not much chicken (also it was on the bone which is not that convenient). It's weird that there's no toilet and you have to queue to order. It has restaurant prices but not restaurant service. "Vegetable" samosa was nice but only had potato in it.

We went for iftar/dinner around a week ago. We tried the gol gappas, samosa chat and chai. The samosa chat was very delicious and we were very satisfied also by the quantity as it was very filling. Chai was a game-changer as well, tasted very authentic but could be abit warmer. We felt that the gol gappas weren’t as crisp and in response the manager served us with a complementary halwa (carrot based), which was quite decent. I love the look and feel of the restaurant and you can tell by every little detail how much personal effort was put into the decoration of it.

Don't believe the hype. Always really busy, expensive, and the biryani was very bland - basically a bony piece of chicken in lots of not very tasty rice. Plus no toilet!

Always a delight to be here. Samosa chat is a definite winner - amazing chutneys. The pani with the gol gappay was like home. The chai is by far the best, wish they had bigger mugs, the quantity was less for the price.

Was kind of disappointed by the Nihari which I'd been so excited to eat. Totally fine but I wouldn't trek across town...

Alles war super lecker, besonders der Chai! Super süßer, gemütlicher Laden! Ein bisschen Heimatfeeling mitten in Berlin! Top!
