Pizzeria da Izzi in Berlin

I've been coming here for years to eat the lasagna. But the pizza and other pasta dishes are also delicious. It's very cozy. The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming! If you get takeout, they always offer you an espresso while you wait. Please note: they don't serve alcohol. So if you like to enjoy a glass of wine with your pasta, this isn't the place for you.

I ordered a pizza for pickup. It was really good, both in terms of taste and price.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and great value for money. Both the regular menu and the daily specials were excellent. Out of consideration for many guests, no alcohol was served, but pure enjoyment was guaranteed with both the food and the service! Thank you so much!

I first visited Pizzeria da Izzi about four or five months ago and ordered spaghetti Bolognese. I received a very warm welcome as soon as I walked in. The waiter even lit the candle on my table, provided plenty of condiments, and politely checked on me several times to make sure everything was alright and if I needed anything else. It was definitely worth leaving a tip! Everything was spotlessly clean, especially the restrooms, which is very important to me. The seating area in the back is also perfect—cozy and inviting. A few days ago, I went back again, this time with my brother. We ordered spaghetti Bolognese and pizza salami. A younger waiter greeted us warmly, professionally, and attentively. Although I forgot to mention that we wanted to share, my brother did, and the waiter immediately took care of everything: two plates, one with half a pizza and one with half Bolognese, with plenty of condiments and drinks, all served perfectly. The pizza was delicious; you could really taste the cheese! The Bolognese was good; there might be better ones out there, but it was still delicious. What was especially great was that they really catered to all our requests – garlic, spice level, everything exactly as we wanted. And as always: everything was extremely clean, the restrooms spotless, and the paper towels were top-notch! At the end, the young waiter even offered us a complimentary espresso, which we unfortunately had to decline as we had to leave. A very nice gesture! And just before we left, my brother brought back the plates, and the waiter laughed and said, "Why are you bringing the plates back? I'm here, what am I here for? Do you want to be paid for the hour?" 😂 Very friendly, humorous, and hospitable – that's exactly how service should be! In conclusion: High praise, great team, super clean restaurant, delicious food, top-notch service! Absolutely recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Very friendly service. The gentleman greeted us at the entrance, practically inviting us in because we weren't sure whether to go in or not. They had quite a large selection of dishes, as far as I'm concerned. They served us our pizza very quickly, with thin crust, and we enjoyed it. At the end, they offered us an espresso, but I asked for a cappuccino and got one for free. It was a very pleasant experience, as they're located in a somewhat unusual neighborhood and I wasn't expecting anything, but I was truly surprised by such great service.

The best pizza at a truly fair price. We drove all the way from Steglitz to Neukölln. The service was first-class. The staff, from the pizza chef to the waiter to the manager, welcomed us like friends!

I just popped in to get a takeaway pizza. The pizza was ready quickly and very tasty.

September 9, 2025, Food highly recommended. Drinks offered completely non-alcoholic. We had: Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, €7.90, plus Pizza bread Beetroot gnocchi filled with walnut and mascarpone in Gorgonzola sauce, delicious, €13.50 Tortellini filled with truffle in butter and sage sauce, €14.90 Unfortunately, served with a tomato cream sauce that didn't quite match, but a forgivable mistake. A large tiramisu, €6.50, with an espresso, €2.50, was a must at the end of the holiday. Very friendly service, we felt very comfortable and regret living 800 km away. The chef celebrates his art. He radiates a meditative calm for me, and I feel his love for what he does. There are no long waits. Restrooms are neglected by most of the innkeepers we've been guests of in Berlin, whether due to their lack of cleanliness or their 19th-century "chatmes." It's better to skip the trip. Not so at Izzi: Modern and clean!

Very tasty food, fair prices, and they offer daycare. 5/5 Service was okay, nothing special. 4/5 The toilet is as low as one at a daycare center, but otherwise a nice place.

Good spaghetti aglio e olio, but it was still missing something special. Good value for money, friendly staff. Unfortunately, there were no alcoholic drinks on the menu, which is one of the reasons we wanted to stop there later in the evening.

Yes! The pizza was very tasty, the service was super friendly, definitely a recommendation. It's just a shame that there was no beer (non-alcoholic, but that's not beer) and that when I visited there was scaffolding outside and you couldn't sit outside.

It's nice that there are still classic restaurants on Sonnenallee! Very friendly service: I am greeted and said goodbye. From time to time you explore me as a guest. Interior: Very appropriately furnished, mix of classic and modern. I sit in candlelight on real wooden furniture. Food: There is a lunch menu that tops the low prices even further. I found it very tasty and it gave the impression of being prepared locally. Real vegetables instead of soup powder. Overall, a very clear recommendation and I would like to come back, then with more time and a few friends with me!

Coming from Switzerland, four of us enjoyed huge pizzas, each with 4 different toppings, like the real Italo Pizzaiolo!

Italian restaurant with Balkan ownership. The food is therefore not 100% authentic but solid. Preparation quick. Price/performance ratio is good. Staff is friendly.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Zutaten frisch, der Service hervorragend und freundlich. Es wurde dazu selbstgemachtes Chili Öl (vorsicht, scharf) und zum verfeinern selbst gemachtes Knoblauch Öl und Chili Öl (nicht ganz so Scharf) gereicht. Der Boden der Pizza war top und sie war liebevoll belegt. Das Lokal ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Gnocci waren wohl auch super. Unbedingt danach noch einen Kaffee bestellen auch der schmeckt sehr gut. Eine Perle auf der Sonnenallee. Hier wird Gastro mit Leidenschaft betrieben. Das alles zu sehr guten Preisen. Wir waren hoch zufrieden und ich bedanke mich für den schönen Abend bei Euch.

War heute zum Lunch dort und habe den Mittagstisch probiert. Es gab frische Tomatensuppe [klasse!!] mit warmem Pizzabrot,einen Softdrink dazu und man konnte zwischen Nudeln und den meisten Standardpizzen wählen. Preis:14,90€ Ich hab dann die Pizza dello Chef bestellt und bin vollends zufrieden gewesen. Toller Teig und leckerer Belag [scharfe Salami, Peperoni und Paprika - die Pizza kostet allein schon über 10€!] Hab trotz Mittagstisch nicht alles von der Pizza geschafft und hab mir noch was einpacken lassen müssen. Auch der Service war zuvorkommend, freundlich und schnell. Gern wieder!!!

Rund um ein toller Laden. Der Pizzateig ist perfekt, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich und die Pasta ist auch grandios (als Tipp: das Brot zur Pasta ist mega nice:) )

Tolle Pizzen mit einem super Teig. Schön dünn und knusprig! Ich bestelle meist entweder die Funghi oder die mit Rucola, beide sind immer reichhaltig belegt, aber nicht in Fett getränkt... Die Leute sind wahnsinnig nett und es geht schnell. Empfehlung!

Super leckeres Essen, super sympathische Inhaber. Kochen selbst, nach italienischem Rezept. Auch der Espresso ist wirklich klasse. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unbedingt das hausgemachte Tiramisu probieren!

Essen: Die Pizza Salami Schinken war einfach fantastisch! Der Teig war perfekt knusprig und doch weich und fluffig, die Tomatensauce war herrlich würzig und die Kombination aus Salami und Schinken war einfach köstlich. Die Pizza war großzügig mit Käse belegt und alle Zutaten waren frisch und von hoher Qualität. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl und würde die Pizza Salami Schinken jedem weiterempfehlen, der nach einer leckeren Mahlzeit sucht. Service: Der Service war ausgezeichnet! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass mein Essen schnell serviert wurde. Sie waren sehr aufmerksam und fragten auch nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Der Service war schnell und effizient, aber auch sehr herzlich und persönlich. Ich fühlte mich wirklich willkommen und gut betreut. Ambiente: Das Ambiente des Restaurants war sehr angenehm und einladend. Die Einrichtung war modern und stilvoll, aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und gemütlich, was eine perfekte Kulisse für ein schönes Essen bot. Die Beleuchtung war gut abgestimmt, was eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre schuf. Das Restaurant war auch sehr sauber und gepflegt, was zu einem angenehmen Erlebnis beitrug. Insgesamt hatte ich eine wunderbare Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant und würde es jedem empfehlen, der nach einem leckeren Essen in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre sucht. Das Essen war fantastisch, der Service war ausgezeichnet und das Ambiente war angenehm und einladend. Ich würde dem Restaurant 5 Sterne geben und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Der Service ist Top, das Ambiente rustikal aber schön und die Speisen sind wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Die Pizzen sind knusprig und riesig. Die Nudeln schmwcken fantastisch und alle Speisen immer frisch und kochend heiß. Wir kommen gern zur Mittagspause dort essen.

Netter kleiner Italiener mit verhältnismäßig niedrigen Preisen. Man kann nett draußen Sitzen, allerdings hört man natürlich den typischen Großstadtlärm. Ein Stern Abzug, da es keine alkoholischen Getränke gibt. Die Speisekarte war teilweise auch nicht ganz korrekt mit den Mengen- und Preisbezeichnungen.

Pseudo-Italiener. Der Teig ist gut, die sonstigen Zutaten sind nur billig, billig, aus industrieller Produktion. Die Preise spiegeln das leider nicht mehr wieder.

Leckere Pizzen mit dünnem, knusprigen Boden. Wir bestellen öfter welche zum Mitnehmen, Wartezeit dann maximal 10 Minuten. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Türe. Die Pizza hat einen super dünnen knusprigen Teig.

Bardzo miło się rozczarowałem, oczekując taniej i podłej speluny, a zastając na miejscu bardzo profesjonalną obsługę i jedzenie na naprawdę wysokim poziomie.

Pizza was ok. Vegetarian options available. It is more of a pickup place than a sit down restaurant, as seating is pretty limited. Decent place for quick pickup.

Sehr leckere Speisen, die zudem auch noch optisch stilvoll auf den Tellern angerichtet wurden. Hinzu kam eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Alles Punkte, mit denen man in Berlin-Neukölln nicht unbedingt rechnet. Einziger Kritikpunkt aus meiner Sicht war, dass keine alkoholischen Getränke bestellt werden könnten. Ich möchte noch erwähnen, dass wir die Pizzeria mit 8 Leuten ohne Voranmeldung aufgesucht haben. Ansonsten alles top, ich komme gerne wieder.👍

Friendly staff and delicious pizza and pasta, especuslly for the price! We devoured a funghi pizza and a spaghetti carbonara, that was way more yum than anticipated. Way better than any trendy eatery in the area ;)

The service here was very very good. Very helpful and kind staff. They were able to adapt and provide something for every single person in my group of 15! They were able to feed all three vegans in the team sufficiently without technically having any vegan options also. Though the food was relatively three star at best, the service really brings the overall score higher. If you need a quick bite to eat and this is where you end up, it's not a bad decision at all.
