Really, really good pizzas! You'll definitely be more hungry than you think here 😉 Unfortunately, the outdoor area is pretty uninviting. So it's better to take pizzas to go and make yourself comfortable in the Tacheles courtyard across the street.

Love this Pizza for alternative tastes and great streetfood vibes. Great alternative to Italian-style pizza that is most common. Thick and thin options are present.Sold by the slice which is convenient. My favourite is sweet potato+tahini and truffle pizza. No indoor sitting,”bite-and-go” format with sitting boxes by the window.

Forget real New york slices these are even better and cheaper

Delicious. While I also love the more “traditional” type of pizza, I had been craving a Detroit style slice for a long time. This place definitely hit the spot. Loved it.

I had orderd Deep Dish Riccota Pizza and New York style Spicy Vodka Pizza. Both the pizza's tasted divine! I must say this is one of the best pizza's I have ever had in Berlin! Prices for one slice range between 3€ - 5.5€ though it seems expensive I think it is worth the quality. The only downside is there is only outdoor seating. I would definitely go back for more pizza!

It was a bit expensive but I was curious about Chicago style deep dish pizza, it was always good. All the varieties were very delicious and the staff was very sweet.

An interesting takeaway concept with fair prices and delicious pizza. Finally, not Napoleonic but New York style, where the pizza is served in your hand. You're more likely to buy slices here. There's a 50 cent surcharge for a box, which is perfectly acceptable. The price per piece is around €3-5, depending on the flavor. You order directly at the window.

Pretty good music, the seating was a bit limited but the pizza and the honey sauce was very good. Also it was like 3€/4€ for each slice. The onion and sausage was SO good

Perhaps a little bit expensive, in my opinion, but the quality almost certainly justifies the price. I had 4 different slices and they were all meticulously put together, the toppings were exquisite and they sure were aplenty. The pizzas were simply bursting with flavor on every bite. The texture was also excellent, very light and fluffy in the middle and the undercarriage crispy, baked off with the crispy cheese on the sides. Such a pleasant experience eating a proper Detroit style pizza in Berlin, I will surely come back to try what the NY style is like.

Perfect spot for quick and delicious pizza to go! They offer both classic thin-crust pizzas and pizzas with thick crusts. I had a classic olive pizza slice fresh from the oven for €3.50!

we were there twice. Once NY style and once Detroit style. Both times the quality was very good and we enjoyed it very much. The prices were okay too.

Delicious pizza, best eaten right away

The pizza is really tasty, and I really like the fact that they re-heat the pieces. The truffle one and the vegan one really stood out. However, it's kinda overpriced, and there aren't any stands or small tables to enjoy your hot pizza (except if the place next to it is closed 😅 )

Ordered delivery - pizza was mediocre. The truffle pizza had zero truffle flavor, and the pepperoni pizza was way too greasy. They also forgot my drinks. Pretty disappointing. Won't order again.

Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture because I ate it too quickly. But it was 10/10 delicious!

Great Pizza but the woman serving pizza needs to learn some manners. I walked up when my number arrived asking for the missing things in my order, and the woman asked me thrice - "Can't you read numbers? Can't you read?" Not sure why. Perhaps she should learn how to "read" the order.

Normally the Lucciano Pizzeria on Nollendorfplatz is our favorite place. But since we happened to try Magic John's Pizza, that's changed. This pizzeria offers exceptional pizza variations such as truffle or vodka pizza that are simply delicious. Unfortunately, even if the line is short, it takes a long time for the pizza to be ready. The lack of seating is also a negative point. What was also strange was that there was no focaccia or dessert on the menu - yet two people in front of us got exactly that. These looked incredibly fluffy and delicious, and if I had known about them, I would definitely have ordered them too. Unfortunately I couldn't ask because the line behind me was very long and the staff was visibly busy. I recommend visiting Magic John's Pizza at lunchtime - the line is much shorter than on a Friday evening.

NYC pizza in Berlin💋 This pizza place is so affordable and delicious! Their pizza slices range from 3-5 euros and they have so many choices. In addition, any pizza topping can be found in a deep dish style as well! The service is nice, only downside is there is no inside seating only outside. Otherwise, the perfect place to grab a single slice or dig in and order a whole pie! Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially the ricotta pizza🥰

I think it's nice that the front has been improved with the continuous step. The NY style pizza slice also tasted nice and crispy and the price-performance ratio was also right. However, I always have conflicted feelings about these pizzas, because how can they look so old at 12:30 when the shop doesn't open until 11:30. I asked the nice man which pizza was currently open so that I could enjoy it completely fresh without having to warm it up afterwards, but he said that you couldn't eat it straight away and that every slice of pizza should still be warmed up

Best best pizza, Detroit and new york style pizza. I have been like 3 times there. Never disappointed me. I prefer more of new york style pizza with think base. So good pizza dough and its so damn yumm. Friendly staff, you can pick it up and have it outside. Must try is, pepperoni, sausage and onion, vodka cream, Okinawa Taco and plain. Have it and you might even end up eatting more than you think.

Yesterday I ordered two Detroit deep dishes: pepperoni and truffles from Magic John's and all I can say is: heavenly! Both are delicious, but the white, Detroit deep dish truffle… that really “knocked my socks off”. Top!

The BEST pizza in all of Berlin, my friend and I absolutely loved the Okinawa Taco Detroit deep dish pizza! Also, the staff are very kind and helpful. ☺️ We’ve already been 3 times and will continue to visit. 😌

If you’re looking for American style pizza in Berlin, look no further! They sell by the slice or whole pizzas in Chicago deep dish or NY thin crust. I had a slice of pepperoni (NY style) at €4.00 and it was as if I grabbed a slice of pizza in the streets of New York. There’s something that really feels nostalgic to me about this type of style. And only a 5 min walk from Oranienburgerstrasse S-Bahn.

The Detroit style pizza is perfect.

I've known this pizzeria for a few years, but since this year the austerity measures have been announced: Pizza Truffle (New York Style) no longer tastes like truffles - new recipe, different mushrooms. Okinawa Taco tastes different now. Obviously the ingredients are different and arguably cheaper. However, the dough is still good. Too bad. Won't buy there anymore.

I never had such pizza flavors, must try and I am vegetarian and they have good options of vegetarian. Best part is they give you chilly flakes, oregano and sweet spicy ketchup as well! I loved it :)

The pizza is a true taste experience! I am particularly impressed by the innovative takeaway concept with only a few standing rooms, which creates a charming, casual atmosphere. My personal favorite is the truffle pizza – a masterpiece of crispy dough, creamy crème fraîche and the incomparable aroma of truffles. The home-brewed beer goes perfectly with it, its fresh taste ideally complementing the flavors of the pizza. A combination that promises enjoyment at the highest level!

A very chill take-away place which offers great pizza slices! They have both Deep dish and NY style pizzas, with some vegetarian options in both. I had one of their Olive NY slice and one Spicy Vodka Deep dish. Both tasted great! The Deep Dish ones are a little pricier than NY but the flavour is good!

Despite the fact that this place is just a bakery itself and a takeaway showcase opposite Tacheles, we would return here even in winter, because we can’t forget especially the garlic knots 🧄 John’s serves New York large, thin pizza and Detroit deep dish with thick dough for every taste. We took the classic one with Plain, Truffle cheese and a mix of Miso & Cheddar and Garlic. All were delicious, but the classic and garlic balls were our favorites. The slightly crispy, baked cheese crust gives the pizza its special flavor. I'll be back - I found out about the Pick-Up Pizza Shop via TGTG. Because every now and then I like deep dish style. Super good, super greasy, wonderful cheese crust and I'm full and happy! The ingredients are fresh and taste high. Price-performance is right! They are friendly and quick too. ... no shop to linger in! Order, receive and leave.

The pizzas are very tasty and there are also different types than the usual ones. They are available as thin dough or as pan pizza. The pizzas are served quickly, but you have to eat them in your hand because there is no seating. But it's not a restaurant and therefore it's not a problem.

When having an evening craving for a slice this is a fantastic option if you live in the neighborhood. Place looks like a meat truck delivery bay at butcher in the sopranos. Or at least how you would imagine it. Service was great. Because of a 5 min holdup with the receipt printer they gave me an extra slice and apology garlic knots. How kind! And somehow the drum and bass playing outside gets you dancing a little bit and exited for your food. Not as greasy as actual American pizza but that’s a good thing. David Portnoy would probably give it a solid 7.2 Also definitely get the agave sauce on the counter.

Dough was good, pizza had probably vegetable oil leaking from it (I am pretty sure it was not olive oil), the quality of the ingredients was mid at best, the taste was 3+/5, I expected a bit more at a pricepoint of 5eur per slice. The service was very kind and I would rate it 5/5. I had much better pizza recently abroad which cost half of the price, baked by an italian dude. Idk, maybe that is how american deepdish pizza is supposed to be made, if so, I am not a huge fan of it. The place looks cool and people are nice but the product dissapointed me especially at this price point.

It's fine but nothing more. I emphasize that there is no place to eat inside. It is literally just take away, they do have a table outside but in reality you will eat standing up. They have 2 styles of pizza that you can choose from. It's fine if you need to grab something quick, but it's not the place if you want to stop to rest and eat something warm.

I would rate this as the best pizza in Berlin, no word of a lie. True, the pizza comes out of the oven somewhat hot, which is a little surprising, but luckily my parents taught me how to eat food without injuring myself so I'm able to overcome the obstacle of hot ovens to enjoy the incredibly creative pizza flavours that the wizards at Magic John's serve up. Two thumbs up.
