Last weekend we were at the Hotel Sackmann with 4 generations. We had a short but wonderful time. From the service to the wellness area to the delicious food, everything was top notch. We were particularly impressed by how child-friendly it was. We'd love to come back!!

We had a room in the charm area. We knew in advance that the rooms were not renovated of course. However, the rooms are really very old. It should be emphasized that the bathrooms have already been renovated. The food is very good. In the restaurant I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the friendly, young Vietnamese woman (unfortunately I don't know her name). Saunas and sky pool are very nice. A massage from Ralf is particularly recommended in the wellness area. A really competent physiotherapist who helped more in an hour than regular massages in his hometown. Unfortunately I have to complain about the processing of the final invoice. We had booked 3 rooms and had already paid in advance via TUI. Unfortunately, we were charged again for the rooms. After consultation, the oversight was of course corrected.

We stayed at the Genusshotel Sackmann for a few days once again. As always, everything was perfect, the food was a dream. I would particularly like to highlight the barbecue evening in the panorama hut. We were the only two guests, everyone else stayed away without canceling. It was still grilled just for us and was delicious. Many thanks to the Panoramahütte team for their effort and the great evening. Also many thanks to the team at Hotel Sackmann. We'd love to come back.

The thing about the rooms was a bit confusing for us, we thought we had booked something else but it was still ok for 3 days. I already have food and drink, which is written below. Great view, the pools are nice and big, we didn't adhere to the dress code when eating. There were 2 couples sitting at lunch with bathrobes underneath, they were wearing their bathing suits (man and woman) nobody said anything, not even the employees. I said something but she wasn't interested and didn't even flinch. Otherwise we would be happy to come back.

The two of us stayed at the Hotel Sackmann for two nights. It was a wonderful stay. Both the wellness area on the roof and the one in the basement are great. We were able to totally relax. Our room was in the older part of the house. It was very cozy and quiet. We were able to enjoy a 6-course meal twice. It was outstanding. The whole hotel is clean and the staff are always nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

My family and I had a great time at the Hotel Sackmann! As soon as you arrive, you feel warmly welcome because the entire team is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are stylishly furnished and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding nature - ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The culinary offering is particularly noteworthy: the gourmet restaurant offers a unique taste experience that leaves nothing to be desired. The wellness area is great. A stay at the Hotel Sackmann is pure luxury and relaxation – we would love to come back!

We had booked a day spa for two people. Unfortunately, it had already started that there was a sauna bag with used towels/bathrobe in my locker and not a freshly cleaned one. The sauna area and the terrace above were largely clean, although the floors in the showers below had a slight green growth. During a sauna session, 3 craftsmen/caretakers suddenly stood in the sauna with work boots without overcoats to look at something. Without first checking whether the sauna area is currently being used by guests. Unfortunately, we didn't really feel comfortable after that. The lunch buffet was OK. When we asked whether craftsmen would come to the sauna area again at lunchtime, we were just put off and told that they would be notified. At the two stations where you are allowed to take water during your stay, there were often no cups left or the water dispenser was broken. The employees always tried hard, but nothing more than a smile was returned. For the price and the reputation of the gourmet hotel, we actually expected more quality and service. As we were leaving, we described our stay to the employee at the reception, but unfortunately nothing more than a "something like that shouldn't happen, sorry" came. The second employee then gave us a bar of chocolate as compensation, but even this nice gesture didn't convince us to use the wellness area a second time, which is a shame.

From one. 4 star hotel I expect that an inquiry will be answered in advance. It's a shame and I suspect that there is little customer friendliness behind it.

We were there for 3 days for a wellness, wedding anniversary. I can unreservedly recommend the wellness area including sauna and pool. The staff there was extremely nice and competent. Overall, the ambience is really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful, although there are a few small weaknesses. They would be. Towels were missing from the room upon arrival, the room wasn't cleaned on the first day and my husband's vegetarian order was sometimes a challenge but then all the more delicious.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for five days and it certainly won't be the last time. The two wellness areas are beautiful, the view from the panoramic pool is fantastic. The food left nothing to be desired and was consistently cooked professionally and with sophistication. The staff on site was consistently super friendly and competent. It was noticeable that the employees felt comfortable. We would be happy to come back and recommend the hotel to others.

Only the service in the restaurant (not the star restaurant!) was bad.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is great. Unfortunately I was there for a conference, so usage was limited. But the hotel is located in the middle of the Black Forest, from here you can go on great hikes, bike rides or simply enjoy the coolness of the forest and the small body of water next door on your own balcony or bar terrace.

Directly on Murgtalstrasse, a large “speed camera” invites you to drive slowly and pay a visit to the Hotel Sackmann. We were well served on the large Murg outdoor terrace and paid our attention to the daily menu. As a welcome there were a few delicious ham sandwiches (bites) from the kitchen; excellent. We enjoyed a Teinacher from the almost limitless wine and drinks list and then enjoyed fresh chanterelle mushrooms on a salad and an ennobled cheese bread (Murgteller) from the award-winning kitchen of this star temple. Unfortunately, the chanterelles were cold, as was the Murg rippling nearby, and the vinaigrette was very homeopathically dosed. The service was excellent with fair prices. We would be happy to come back

Having tested several high-end hotels, Magnificent hotel! Rooms with modern and elaborate decoration (new building). Excellent meals!!! buffet breakfast with a wide choice (the best I have tried). Boss always present, approachable and caring. Outdoor/indoor swimming pools, large spa with various treatments (hamam/sauna/jaccuzi/massages/aromatic room) Several rest areas! Forest nearby, hiking or mountain bike rental possible. Train station nearby which serves several towns and villages! The hotel provides us with the Schwartzwald Plus card: free train + certain free activities. No need for a vehicle, hotel accessible by train (from Strasbourg, Offenburg, etc.) as well as activities nearby. If you have health problems, a large hospital nearby is 15 minutes away by car. (Telephone and address provided by the hotel) Magnificent hotel for those who want a break from their daily lives in the Schwartzwald National Park. I have very fond memories of it!

This is a review about the terrace restaurant, not the gourmet restaurant. We had one lovely dinner here, nice seating area, good atmosphere. The food was just OK, however it was our first day of vacation and we were very happy still. In fact, we decided to go back a couple of days later after a long day out looking for dessert since we had already eaten dinner on our way there. We were turned away with a rude "We don't have desserts, try the other restaurant". We know they do have desserts (we saw them on the menu), my guess they just didn't want to serve us. Apparently you don't matter if you just want something small or when the staff has a busy evening. Bad attitude.

Was on my bike tour for lunch, nice that there is always warm food. Sirloin plate with potato gratin is really delicious. Unfortunately the almond broccoli was lukewarm without almonds (message to the service staff). Something went wrong in the kitchen, but I'll be back anyway.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights (including breakfast) and were more than thrilled. The staff, the food and the entire hotel complex are very nice. The wellness and spa area are very nice. The location of the hotel is ideal. We will definitely come back in the future.

The hotel is new and nicely decorated, no remarks. Everything is nicely cleaned. The location is slightly less than expected as the hotel is surounded on one side by a busy road and a railway on the other side. Food is excellent, nothing to remark! Biggest negative point: the staff appears to be composed of a lot of stagairs/unexperienced new staff (the impression we had). For example: on multiple occasions we ordered something, which never arrived and needed to be re-oredered. We also made a demand for an upgrade in the room, but in the end we received anther type (not a big desaster) because our demand was lost somewhere. Moreover, not all staff members are equaly polite...

We had an excellent family stay in this family establishment. The hotel owner takes the time to greet all his guests at the table. The staff lived up to our expectations. I had an excellent birthday at your establishment. Thank you for your welcome.

Tradition and modernity cleverly combined. We stayed for a weekend with a family of four in a modern room with luxury board. The modern rooms are really very chic and functional. The wellness area is very nice. The staff is very friendly, sometimes communication is difficult. The “problem” is often encountered now, but I think it can be mentioned.

Our long weekend at the Hotel Sackmann in Baiersbronn was a failure. When it was 30 degrees, we asked at reception whether our room had air conditioning. This was then answered in the negative. The window could only be opened a third of the way and then there was a glass wall in front of it for safety, so you couldn't cool the room down. We asked reception if we could have another room with air conditioning and we were promised that they would take care of it. During the meal we were promised another room, but when we asked for the new room card we canceled it because of an upgrade. We then informed them that they could then complete the bill because we couldn't spend a night in the hotel under these circumstances, and suddenly we were promised another room. The 6 course menu was so small, the promised crispy roasted suckling pig was just pulled out of the water and the side dish was lukewarm. We then left and went out to eat first.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Sackmann. We were impressed by the fine cuisine. The wellness/SPA area is excellent. What should be highlighted is the friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Staying in the hotel is like an oasis of well-being and we can only warmly recommend it. We will come back .

We had brunch at this hotel on July 14th. It was good, but nothing more. The choice was very limited, no possibility of really helping yourself, you always have someone on hand. The price is excessive compared to our expectations. The table service was deplorable. We order an apfelschorle and bring us a small glass from I don't know where. The waitress didn't understand much. We won't come back again.

Wonderful stay – pure relaxation We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was excellent and left nothing to be desired. The chef was particularly nice, taking the time in the evening to personally greet the guests and ask if everything was OK. The wellness areas are diverse and offer everything the soul needs to relax. The rooms are modern and very cleanly furnished, which contributes to a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and courteous staff at the reception, who always welcomed us with a smile. A small point of criticism: I had agreed with the reception that the table would be specially prepared for my birthday. Unfortunately, this wish was not fulfilled. Nevertheless, overall it was a completely successful stay – we would be happy to come back!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend at the Hotel Sackmann. We stayed in a beautiful, brand new and very tastefully renovated suite. The wellness area is also newly renovated and great. We enjoyed a very tasty 6-course menu in the evening and ended the evening in the cocktail bar. Great!

Despite a few small things (complaining on a high level), we had great days in the hotel. The room faced the Murg and railway line. However, the trains don't run here that often. And when the balcony door was closed, you heard almost nothing. Great service and very friendly and accommodating staff.

After we unfortunately had to cancel the stay we had already booked last year, this year it worked out - and I can say that our expectations were even exceeded! Rooms, spa area, wellness treatments and the range of food and drinks were absolutely at the top level. A special highlight was the star menu in the Schlossberg restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which started at check-in and continued throughout all areas. Unfortunately the time was far too short, but we will definitely come back.

Dear Sackmann family, We had a wonderful time with you, it was very relaxing and your staff fulfilled all of our wishes. We were with you with our two teenagers. It felt so good to escape from everyday life for two days and nights. With the great pool on the roof terrace and the pool in the basement, we felt like we were in paradise, in the middle of nature, with a view of sheep, horses and green pastures, we really enjoyed our time with you with a cocktail in hand. The sauna area, beauty, everything just to enjoy. The view of the river was very calming for me. To refrain from eating altogether. A great breakfast buffet with everything your heart desires - fresh, fruit, vegetables and Mr. Sackmann himself at the "stove" prepared a delicious omelet, it was all regional products that were made with a lot of love. Very nice hotel with very friendly/warm staff, I particularly liked the multicultural staff. The ladies and gentlemen come from very different countries around the world. On the one hand, I took a little vacation and on the other hand, I took some time out to write (a book). Inspiring environment! We took a short vacation at the Sackmann Genusshotel and really enjoyed every minute of it! Above all, we really liked the excellent food and the wellness area! You noticed that behind every little detail there is a certain story. Be it the flavor combinations in the food or the decoration of the entire hotel! Here we tried to do everything perfectly and correctly! Terrific! Another very nice point is the location. Here you can really enjoy nature and just switch off. The Black Forest Plus card also gives you plenty of opportunities to keep busy outside of the hotel (e.g. a bike tour on an e-bike). In summary, simply beautiful and highly recommended! If you don't try it yourself, you're definitely missing out!

My family and I wanted to treat ourselves to a relaxing day and booked a day in the spa, well fit menu, 6 course menu and a hotel night with Sackmann. We have been to Sackmann's many times and, as always, we liked it. The saunas are very luxurious and so is the pool area. There is a modern fitness room. In the Burgfelsspa there is a station with tea, water and dried fruits. The infinity pool offers a breathtaking view of the Black Forest. Our hotel room was one of the modernized ones. It is very stylishly furnished and modern. We had a balcony with a view of the Murg and the Black Forest. The Well Fit Buffet is always very large and varied. The 6 course menu was very tasty and of excellent quality. In the evening we went to the bar. Nice bartender, great drinks and good music. The breakfast buffet was great. Checking in and out worked very well. I always come back with my family and look forward to a relaxing break.

Went here last week because we were still looking for a hotel. We arrived in the evening and agreed that the hotel room would cost 140 euros for one night, including breakfast and dinner. When we went to pay we suddenly had to pay 438 euros?! We were not helped any further and we had to put up with it. Furthermore, the feedback is not listened to, as you can read below. Indeed, 140 euros was repeatedly agreed upon and not 438. Hopefully they will soon get a new round of interns who can be honest with their manager and guests. Very bad service and we were not helped well. Left a sour taste on our beautiful trip.

We had brunch today at the Genusshotel. The food was terrific. Large selection of meat, salads and desserts. Something for everyone. We will definitely be back there for the next brunch

Went to BBQ brunch today and it was just disappointing. The Black Angus short ribs consisted of 90% fat, the selection of different types of meat was very clear, you searched in vain for entrecôte, roast beef etc. The Merguez on offer turned out to be normal pork sausages. The griller didn't even notice that he didn't have three different sausages as raw material. . . Unfortunately there is no apology. A qualified person should be able to distinguish a pork bratwurst from a beef bratwurst, sadly. Unfortunately there was no grilled vegetables, instead the frozen vegetable mix from the bag. The grilled raw material was not stored refrigerated but was left in the blazing sun, as were the sauces, some of which contained mayonnaise. The claim of this house should actually be different. Oh yes, it doesn't make a good impression when the head of the house takes his sliced ​​meat from the cutting board with his fingers and then licks his fingers and then reaches into the spice bowl from which the guests are offered the spice. All in all, you should absolutely avoid this store.

Nestled in the picturesque nature of the Black Forest, it offers a retreat far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The quiet surroundings and fresh air were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds were particularly comfortable and we slept wonderfully every night. Additionally, the room was spotlessly clean, which gave us a feeling of well-being. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hotel's spa. The various saunas, steam baths and relaxation areas invited you to linger and relax. After a day full of hikes through the Black Forest, it was simply wonderful to relax in the spa and unwind. The hotel's dining options also deserve praise. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and offered a large selection of fresh and delicious dishes. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was also a pleasure for the senses. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the kitchen. The hotel's staff also deserves a mention. Friendly, attentive and always helpful, they contributed significantly to our pleasant stay. We felt in good hands and welcome at all times. Overall, we can unreservedly recommend the Hotel Sackmann. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking for relaxation surrounded by nature. We return home with recharged batteries and lots of beautiful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.

In short, for a four-digit euro amount you imagine something completely different and in the end you feel ripped off. Most of the service staff is not trained. Taking orders, proper serving and efficiency are all in vain - according to the motto: Waiting is a virtue, if you wait 45 minutes for a coffee!!! The mood among each other also seems to be bad, and it's not uncommon to see arguments behind the counter. The cleaning staff had such an argument about payment that it was clearly audible in our room. Spa was ok, but massage treatments are mixed up. Some positive points: the welcome was nice and the room was nice with a separate toilet. The dinner and breakfast buffet were good. The spa area is new with 2 pools, a large sauna area and some relaxation rooms. The cosmetics are highly recommended. We raised these points during our stay. The lady at the reception tried very hard - there was no reaction from the owner family - a member was sitting right next to her! As expected if you look back on our experiences.

The Sackmann family, the owners, communicate that hospitality is celebrated across generations in their business - nice - but unfortunately they don't live up to their own standards at all. The staff is largely completely overwhelmed to provide a high level of service, employees often argue repeatedly in sight and earshot of the guest, you often have to wait a good 30 minutes for an espresso macchiato, a gourmet/sauce spoon is laid out to spoon flakes with milk, the 1-hour ironing service isn't done even 24 hours later, well... There is obviously a lack of a capable management level across various functions who would ensure the guest process at a high level as a mentor and concertmaster and would therefore do justice to the actually great infrastructure and the high prices. Despite our feedback to the Cheffe de Reception during our stay, when we left we were naively asked by the receptionist whether everything was in order... And also that a member of the owner's family was sitting next to us and the "lost" employee was not on the occasion of our repeated negative feedback shows once again that the guest process at Sackmann's is not understood from the very top - a real shame.

The rooms are spacious and modern or have classic Black Forest charm - there is something to suit every taste. The wellness area on 2 different levels invites you to relax with a magnificent view. The highlight of a stay at Sackmann is certainly the food. Whether it's a Michelin-starred kitchen or one of the other restaurants, it's always a superlative taste experience! You will also be completely pampered at breakfast or lunch. The perfect destination for a break full of enjoyment and wellness.

The dishes are particularly tasty and original, the swimming pool and wellness area are up to standard. Three small remarks: the "servers" are a little lost. There are a lot of staff, but nothing is smooth in the service: people don't react when you call them, delay between drinks and meals... surprising little things for this type of hotel. The staff are friendly but seem poorly trained. It was terribly hot in the room where we were dining. Really stuffy and no windows. Better to dress lightly. The lunch and morning buffet is very well stocked, tasty food, but it is poorly organized, because there is not much space, and it is a little complicated. Otherwise a great experience in a luxurious hotel in a magnificent setting

We were guests at the Sackmann Genusshotel for the first time in March 2024 and really enjoyed our stay. The journey was a bit bumpy at first, as there were relatively few parking spaces in the outside area of ​​the hotel due to the structural conditions and we therefore initially switched to a public P&R car park. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we were assigned a room in the older, traditional part of the hotel instead of the newly renovated Silberberg room we had booked, which unfortunately didn't suit our taste in style. However, the service staff responded to our complaint in an extremely friendly manner and were able to assign us the right room immediately. In general, all of the employees made a very friendly and courteous impression on us (even little things, like the fact that my partner and I preferred to sit next to each other at dinner rather than across from each other, didn't go unnoticed by the service and the next morning we were surprised to find that that our place settings were now placed next to each other). In our opinion, the relatively high price per night is fully justified, because the large wellness area, the modern roof terrace, the renovated rooms and the dining area flow seamlessly into one another and ensure that you feel completely comfortable during your stay. Our highlight was certainly the infinity pool (which could perhaps be given a few extra degrees), which lured us outside even on a dreary rainy day. We would like to thank you for the lovely stay and would be happy to come back.

The receptionist at the reception was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The rooms in the country house would benefit from a renovation because they have 70s charm. The new SPA area on two floors (basement and roof) with two swimming pools, several saunas, steam bath, bookable massages and much more. is probably one of the best between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Flensburg. Unfortunately, a voucher that is available free of charge on the website was not recognized despite repeated verbal confirmation, as it is only recognized for stays of three nights or more. The verbal promises came from the reservationist knowing that only one night was booked. The food in the gourmet restaurant Schlossberg was absolutely top class; we have already eaten worse in two-star restaurants. The focus of the kitchen is not primarily on stage magic, i.e. any effects on the plate or when serving, but on the perfect aroma of the dishes. This is accompanied by a perfectly matching wine selection when it comes to wine accompaniment.

Vacation from the first minute! The reception at the hotel is very nice and a welcome glass is a good start. The whole hotel and the rooms are very stylish and the staff are very well trained and friendly. Even a special vegan request was no problem and the food is generally great! Great bar boss and great cocktails make it all perfect. Oh yes. The wellness area is also very nice and invites you to relax. We will be back.

Unfortunately, the kitchen couldn't keep up with the beautiful room and the good spa. This applied to breakfast, to a loveless Wellfit lunch menu and especially to the guest dinner. The bar doesn't make a cozy impression either.

Absolutely recommended wellness hotel! My girlfriend and I definitely had a wonderful vacation. We booked the “Haselbach Junior Suite”, which I can highly recommend! Not only do you have a great view, but you can also easily reach the wellness areas. The food is perfect all around. I can not say more about that :)

Unbiased review from a simple guest Without giving much spoilers, I would like to share that our stay was full of pleasant surprises. Attention: this refers to our reservation, for one night incl. Pampering guesthouse, we just let things come to us. First impression: Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed at reception. Everything important was explained to us in detail. Our room "Auenwald" didn't quite meet my taste, but the cleanliness was exemplary, the bath towels didn't even smell like the grease you get from hotel chains, which is probably due to the family management instead of the hotel being part of a chain. Hotel and Offers: The ambience of the hotel is impressive and feels very high quality. Particularly noteworthy are the swimming pool in the basement and on the roof as well as the free sauna and drinks offers. Massages can also be booked. Gastronomy: Dinner was a gourmet experience, which surprised me. After being asked for our room number we were shown to our table. The quality of the food justifies the price, and the service was extremely pleasant and personal. There was a friendly man with a mustache walking around the restaurant greeting everyone. At first we didn't know who he was, but we found his manner very pleasant and likeable. Later, after a quick search on the Internet, we discovered that it was the owner. The staff deserves special praise: They handled a situation with crowds professionally and discreetly. In addition, there are no hidden costs – offers are transparent and optional. The breakfast stands out because it differs in quality from the standard industrial fare of other hotels. It's such a pleasant feeling. Minor points of criticism: The location offers little opportunity for exploration outside the hotel/not interesting. However, that was irrelevant for us as our focus was on relaxation. Conclusion: The hotel sees its guests as people and not as mere sources of income. This is reflected in the respectful treatment and the well-thought-out offers. Our stay was like a fairy tale for my wife and offered a wonderful break for both the soul and the body.

I spent a day spa at Sackmann with two friends on a Saturday in February. We've been looking forward to this for a long time. However, there were various points on site that we would not expect in such a house. And these had nothing to do with financial investment. On the one hand, we came to the spa area (which is divided into two areas - the 4th floor and the basement), which was already very crowded at the beginning of the day spa period. In other hotels, the whole thing is put to a stop by not accepting any more DaySpa guests - depending on how busy the hotel is. In the end we always had to split up because, of course, in typical German fashion, all the loungers were nicely reserved. Furthermore, during the course of the day there were no more fresh towels in the entire spa area and, even more drastic, no fresh drinking cups. In the spa area it was also advertised that fruit was sometimes available. Unfortunately only apples on this day - only semi-optimal for allergy sufferers. At lunch in the restaurant (which you were allowed to enter in a bathrobe) we were left sitting for a while. We didn't know whether the drinks were self-service or just the food at the buffet. When a waitress served us, she asked for our number. We didn't know what she was talking about and unfortunately she didn't reply in a very friendly way that we had been given a billing number when we arrived, even as a day guest. This was no longer necessary for the receptionist. I also didn't like various customs. I have already stayed in several 4* & 4*+ and also one or two 5* hotels. The guest is the king. The guest has the right of way, especially in a restaurant with a buffet. At such a price, I can't really stand it when someone almost knocks the plate out of my hand without looking because you move backwards at another table without looking at what's happening behind you. The lady at the next table with the designer handbag subjectively received a subtly different treatment. Yes, it's stupid that I was “just” sitting there in my bathrobe. Whether I'll come again, I have no idea. Because the house and the ambience in the newly designed wellness area on the 4th floor were great. Only the outdoor pool should be significantly warmer, especially in winter.

We had a very nice and pleasant stay. All employees were very polite and helpful. The food was very tasty, the room was very large and clean! We would like to come again!

Above all, the cuisine and the great service were very convincing. No wish was left unfulfilled in terms of taste, it was a great experience, especially the 6-course menu in the evening. The employees were always very friendly and accommodating. The two wellness areas were very nice and modern. The treatments we booked were also top but very expensive. The only drawback is the “old part” of the hotel. The rooms are furnished in a very old-fashioned way and the dark tones and old patterns unfortunately do not make as friendly an impression as the rest of the hotel and do not fit in with the rest of the hotel's concept. All in all, it was a very nice and relaxing trip and we would be happy to come back.

The rich breakfast buffet is the perfect way to start the day. The wellness and spa area is very nice, you can relax wonderfully here. We would particularly like to emphasize the warmth of all employees. Thank you for doing such a great job. We had a great stay.

Our second stay at the Hotel Sackmann was wonderful again. We didn't miss anything and the culinary experiences were an absolute highlight for us. We have already been to a few wellness hotels, but the Hotel Sackmann is one of our absolute favorites. The Murgtal also offers a lot of excursion destinations. We will be back

This was our third time in the wonderful and unique Sackmann Genusshotel. We were more than satisfied on every visit. Be it the beautiful ambience, the warm and friendly staff/service, the stylish and modern rooms, the great wellness offers, the fantastically beautiful infinity pool and the incredibly delicious and unique food. Everything here is done with a lot of passion and with great attention to detail. You can tell that there is a family business behind it. All (extra) requests will be implemented to your complete satisfaction. After our last visit in February 2024, this place has become a magical and romantic place for us as I received a charming marriage proposal during dinner. The moment was emotional and perfect. The whole team and my fiancé conjured up a unique and unforgettable moment. We will return every year and indulge ourselves here.

The Sackmann Gourmet Hotel touches all the senses and lives up to its name. The hotel cleverly combines tradition and modernity. Large parts of the hotel were recently renovated and appear modern (lighting concept) and at the same time cozy and timeless due to the wooden elements (parquet floors, comfortable sofas in the dining area). Attention was paid to numerous details in order to create a special connection to the region (glass blowing) and the surrounding nature (Murgtal). The large window elements in the restaurant and the SPA area allow the river and the forest to be directly experienced and serve as a natural oasis of peace. This way you can relax in the infinity pool. Even during the daily sauna infusion in the panoramic sauna, with a view of the adjacent forest, the aromas are lovingly selected and combined to appeal to the senses (e.g. honey and cocoa). The cuisine at the morning market breakfast is characterized by high-quality and fresh products (crusty baguette and aromatic cheese from Alsace). The omelet was personally prepared by the chef and tailored to individual preferences (salmon cubes, shrimp, spring onions, tomatoes and much more were available). Numerous (some exotic) delicacies are waiting to be tried at various stations (e.g. fresh passion fruit and pitaya as well as a wonderful Bircher muesli). High-quality cheeses are lovingly presented in small refrigerators. There is also no shortage of hearty specialties - delicious sausages and various warm dishes (e.g. sausages, crispy bacon, white sausages and much more) are available. The orange juice is freshly squeezed by hand using a professional machine. The quality of the coffee and the variety of teas is also worth mentioning - even late risers wake up here (breakfast time is until 11:00 a.m.). If you prefer to start the day a little later, you will find everything your heart desires at the lunch buffet (salads, warm dishes, etc.). The service staff appears extremely courteous and very attentive - both in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. The daily changing 6-course evening menu takes the guest on a true journey of flavors. The always visually appealing aperitif is a real treat for the palate (e.g. gin and tonic in combination with notes of citrus and lavender). The individual courses are of the highest quality. Not least because the flavors of the regional products are very finely coordinated (e.g. prime rib from the Murgtal with Burgundy shallots) and also show the proximity to France (e.g. sea bream in the Bouilliabaisesud). We were very satisfied all around and are already looking forward to our next stay with the Sackmann family.

The Hotel Sackmann is characterized by the excellent cuisine in both the 1-star restaurant “Schloßberg” and the good and tasteful preparation in the other restaurants. We had our civil wedding on Saturday and wanted to have a nice weekend in the hotel afterwards. After the hosts found out about our wedding, they did everything they could to make us feel even more comfortable. We were treated so well and were even surprised with a gift in the room. We were guests in this hotel for the first time and we were absolutely thrilled. For us there is nothing wrong. The employees are very courteous and competent. We really liked the room in terms of design and concept. For dinner we had a 4-course menu in the Murgstube. An absolute delight! The breakfast buffet is truly extraordinary and hard to beat in terms of variety and quality! The sauna area also completely impressed us. We would like to come again!

We stayed at the Sackmann Genusshotel from February 21st to 23rd. The name says it all and we were completely thrilled. Without exception, the staff are very attentive and friendly and you feel comfortable and welcome. The wellness area is very well maintained and there is a lot on offer. As I said, the name says it all when it comes to the quality of the food. Enjoyment from breakfast to dinner. We will be back….

Ich war eine Nacht in einer Junior Suite Weißtanne, 126. Sehr modern, geräumig und gemütlich. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbuffet absolut top. Es gibt alles was man sich wünscht. Abendessen sehr sehr gut. Verwöhnmenü im Zuge der Halbpension genossen. Wirklich lecker. Design des Neubaus sehr gelungen und geschmackvoll. Die Wellnessbereiche sind ausreichend und tadellos gepflegt. Der Infinitypool auf dem Dach ist schön, aber deutlich zu kalt. Haben auch andere Gäste vor Ort bemängelt. Bitte wärmer machen! Handtücher und Getränkegläser im Bereich mussten mehrfach telefonisch geordert werden. Der Ruheraum war leider aufgrund lauter Gespräche anderer Gäste kein solcher. Schade…(dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts). Alles in allem aber ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Sackmann ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!!!

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht da, aber die war unvergesslich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Sehr erholsam, sauber, freundlich,... einfach alles hat gepasst. Das Essen, der Wahnsinn. Der Spa-Bereich ist groß und für jeden was dabei. Danke
