Disappointed with the food, m.M. after not having much to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. Just the cheese, Gouda sprinkles...

Not what an American Mexican restaurant tastes like. Portions are small and less spice more like toned down European Mexican taste.

Go here more often and enjoy the food. Overall a very nice restaurant and very friendly staff

Super friendly and attentive service. Ate ribs with honey sauce and ordered a baked potato, great! Our 2nd visit and we will come here again. Price is absolutely appropriate and not overpriced.

We were very positively surprised by the good food, and the prices were also absolutely ok.

I was there once and won't go there again. The service was generally friendly, but that changed when I complained because the "pulled chicken" was cooked in tomato sauce and this isn't on the menu (it just says "chicken"). I put the tacos without tomatoes and was not informed of this. Salsa was also served as a sauce - that's not possible. The waitress just responded snidely, saying that I had already eaten the taco and that the meat was prepared this way and that. Found the behavior impossible. Retraining would be appropriate. The restaurant is not really authentic and I know better Tex Mex restaurants. My friends thought the food was quite good and had no complaints.

The restaurant is somewhat off the beaten track in Einsiedlerhof. The restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside but the atmosphere was a mix between bland and kitsch. There is outside seating, but it's like sitting in someone's driveway. The outside seating area could definately use some pepping up. The food was better than expected from my first impression; the service great and the prices reasonable.

I had the three choice lunch combo, and for the price, it was a good, filling meal. Overall, it was a good flavor and balance in the tastes and not overly salty. The free chips were a bit tough, but there was no other real complaint. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was good. All together, it's not a bad place to get some Mexican food at a good price.

Overall. Service & Atmosphere 110%. Loved the steak Fajitas. The hackfleisch (Ground meat) was a little too much seasoning. But it could be that my/our tacos are my/our specialty and nothing can compare. Just a little less seasoning on the hackfleisch and the experience would have been top notch. We sold burritos at work and paid for a mini van. When we stopped selling burritos. 3 years later people were still asking us when we we're going to make them again. Our taco meat and burrito recipe have proven surpassed restaurant quality. We hope from this review. That the restaurant take some tips to improve. Deine hackfleisch ist zu salzig (nicht böse gemeint) Diese restaurant hat volles potential, aber sie baruchen eine kleine anleitung. Bitte Wenger gewürz mit dem hackfleisch.

The main course was very tasty, but the side dishes (salad, beans and rice) were not very good. But otherwise very good. The night meal… apple turnover with ice cream. BOMB! Extremely delicious. I can only recommend.

Food is not even close to be real mexican food. Please stop your false advertising of a mexican restaurant and advertise what you really are a hindu restaurant operate by a hindu crew. Food was bland at best, horrible for the most part. Service was ok, but the meal's ingredients no one on mexico do that type of combinations.

We were there for the first time in years. We first had the nachos with ground meat and cheese and then the fajita beef. The food was nicely prepared, but I found it to be poorly seasoned. But that's a matter of taste. The waitresses were super friendly. From the outside and inside, the restaurant is a bit dated. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay

The Sabor de Mexico is somewhat remote in the Einsiedlerhof industrial area. The good: plenty of parking spaces on the street, no big traffic, lots of spaces inside and outside in summer. You are assigned a table depending on the number of people, then you get tortillas with salsa as a starter. The menu is perfect, there is something for everyone and of course everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Tuesday there is all you can eat spare ribs, the next day chicken wings. Unfortunately there's only a choice of four sauces, but since I have my two favorites that's fine. Depending on the company, the service staff is on their toes. If the place is busy, you may have to wait a little longer, but everything is within reason. The volume is a bit higher because the room is large and frequented by many Americans who have louder organs anyway. Every now and then a bunch of children run past. So if you're looking for a quiet restaurant, you shouldn't necessarily go to Sabor de Mexico. Anyone who doesn't mind and likes good Mexican cuisine can safely go. Everything is at ground level, making it suitable for wheelchair users.

Visited and ate for the first time. The Diet Coke was only a little carbonated, the food wasn't hot, but the starter, shrimp in garlic, was very good.

This place used to be really good; sadly not anymore. I had a veggie quesadilla which had baked beans and canned peas, two small pieces of totally overcooked broccoli.

Have been there several times. The prices of food and drinks are really good (as of March 24). The food is very tasty and rich. The service is exceptionally good. Very attentive and polite. There are enough parking spaces on the street. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.

Delicious food, nice staff, but you should have a basic knowledge of English as most of the guests are US citizens and the wait staff are therefore also American.

Good lunch time place. Had really good fajitas.

We ate ribs, they were really juicy and had a lot of meat on them. You can't complain about house iced tea at 18 euros per person. The staff was also friendly and you didn't have to wait long even though the store was full. Would love to come back

We made reservations for 14 people at short notice and the service was great. We got our food at the same time and it was very tasty. :) The selection of food and drinks was very large. We will be back. Thanks for the friendly service. :)

It's giving "white people taco night". The food is okay, but it has nothing to do with Mexican food, in the slightest. I feel like almost all the food I was served was premade, the cheese in the queso was shredded cheese from the store as it didn't melt properly because of the starch. Overall very underwhelming, unfortunately.

Had dinner with three people. It was very tasty, the staff was friendly and motivated, there wasn't a long wait and the price was right.

Typical Mexican restaurant with a special flair. The table reservation worked quickly. I can only recommend the Pina Colada, it tasted fantastic. The food came early and was warm and tasty. There were plenty of service staff but they didn't always respond. We will come back.

Hola. I liked the location more than Hacienda's. More inviting, better seating. Staff was very attentive and quick. Food was good. Will come back. Must be nice sitting outside on the terrace during summer time. Can't wait. 🫠

im gonna start off by saying im a military kid, so ive traveled to a lot of different places and have had a lot of different food. this is the best food i have ever had in germany, and definitely not the top 5 meals ive had in my life. i got the shrimp quesadilla, and the shrimp is so so juicy and flavourful!! the tortilla is really delicious and has a great texture. the guacamole i put on it had a really intense flavor of cilantro, which i personally LOVE. i would absolutely recommend this place for your next meal. ill probably be visiting here a lot in the future.

Das Essen war super lecker und authentisch. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Die junge Dame war auf zack und hat uns schnell bedient. Sollten wir nochmal in Kaiserslautern sein, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

I never knew this place was here! It's located on what feels like a deserted road that I'd never driven down, but don't sleep on this place. Really nice interior, great food, and friendly staff!

Nach dem eine gute Freundin meiner Frau dieses tolle Mexikanische Restaurant zeigte , und Sie mir davon schwärmte sind wir spontan heute Abend da hingefahren , Ich selbst war das erste Mal dort und bin total begeistert , super Service Team sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich , und wirklich ala Speedy Gonzales, die schnellste Maus von Mexico 😁 am Tisch wenn man das Mexico Holz senkrecht stellt. Das Essen war super frisch, sehr schmackhaft und vorallem nicht so geschärft das man die anderen Geschmacksrichtungen nicht mehr erkennen könnte. Echt Super werden wieder kommen garantiert, und die Preise super fair 2,50 für einen Eistee mit kostenlosem Refill 👌👌👌 top

Erstklassiges Essen! Super Service! Den Stern Abzug gibt es nur, weil das Essen etwas lange (ca. 30-45 Minuten) gedauert hat. Lag aber vermutlich am starken Besuch des Restaurant. Der Eingangsbereich ist nicht so schön, Innen aber authentisch und angenehm. Malsachen für Kinder mit Ausmalbilder. Portionen sind im Verhältnis zum Preis sehr groß. Generell humane Preise! Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste Im Restaurant waren, war das Essen lauwarm ode kalt. Naja. Geschmack mehr nach Massenabfertigung. Man kann hingehen,ist abler kein Highlight. Ambiente naja.

Jedes Mittwoch ist Chicken Wings tag. für 15,50€ du kannst so viel wie möglich wings essen. erste Portion wird mit Sellerie, Karotten und Ranch dip serviert. gibt verschiedene soße dazu, BBQ, Piri Piri, Louisiana, sweet honey. wir haben auch Rollo probiert das war auch gut sehr recommend

I ordered the Açaí berry & co smoothie (€7.50) and the burritos casa grande (ground beef ver., €12.50). I was a bit disappointed in the smoothie, as it only tasted like apple juice when there was a wide variety of fruits listed (raspberry, açaí berry, etc.[I don’t even think apple was on the list…])) It was still good, but if I had known it was only going to taste like apple juice, I probably wouldn’t have ordered it. As for the burrito, I was very satisfied; the burrito was very filling and the peppers were well cooked. The salsa and the guacamole were very flavorful, and the rice that came on the side was also good. I did not get around to trying the salad or the refried beans. I also tried one of the flautas that my friend ordered and it was very yummy, very crispy and flavorful. Overall, I had a good experience and would go back.

Excellent service and food! If you want something, just approach the staff! The food was also amazing and the server was really kind. Excellent and fair prices as well! We loved the fajitas and drinks. Also, the refried ice cream and churros for dessert. A larger basket of chips may have been better, but it’s not bad, and it was great tasting! The salsa was also very delicious! Most patrons may prefer smaller quantities of chips! The restaurant's interior is well-themed and festive. So was the music that gives the mood of a Mexican restaurant that knows what it is doing. They serve the tastes of the local customers. Sabor de Mexico really has that taste of Mexico that people crave! Muy bien!
