Der mit Abstand beste vegetarische Burgerladen in Berlin. Wenn du asiatisch inspirierte, gut gewürzte Gerichte magst, bist du hier genau richtig. Das Essen ist überraschend lecker. Der Laden eignet sich hervorragend für ein Date, und ich könnte mir vorstellen, dort mit einem Glas Wein oder Ähnlichem noch länger zu verweilen. Du musst unbedingt hin!

Als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, sagte ich zu meiner Freundin: „Lass uns morgen wiederkommen.“ Das zeigt, wie gut dieses Restaurant war – eines der besten vegetarischen Restaurants, in denen ich je war. Der Hulk-Burger war unglaublich lecker, genau wie alles andere, was wir bestellt hatten. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Berlin bin.

Das Essen war wirklich toll und einzigartig. Eine Geschmacksexplosion 🤭🤭 Vorallem den Hulk Burger können wir sehr empfehlen, aber auch der Pho Salad und das vegan creme caramel waren total lecker Leider mussten wir ziemlich lange aufs Essen warten, aber es hat sich gelohnt Und es war relativ kalt, wir saßen nähe der Tür

Der beste Burger aller Zeiten!!

Ich war hier zum ersten Mal und insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist wirklich großartig – alles sehr lecker, außergewöhnlich und mit interessanten Geschmackskombinationen. Ein besonderes Plus ist die schnelle Bedienung. Die Getränke wurden exakt nach 4 Minuten serviert, das Essen kam nach 15 Minuten. Die Qualität der Speisen war dabei hervorragend – alles frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und modern, der Service freundlich und unaufdringlich. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir saßen direkt neben der Eingangstür, und dort war es sehr kalt. Ich habe richtig gefroren, trotz des Vorhangs. Dafür ziehe ich einen Punkt ab.

Volle Empfehlung für diese leckeren, Aromen-intensiven Bao Burger! Und auch das Red District muss es immer sein ☺️ wie schade, dass nach der Rykestr. nun bald auch dieses Ryong Ende Februar 2026 schließen wird.

Wir fanden es echt 'mal top, aktuell macht ihr aber auf gefühlt jedes Essen so eine gelbe Soße, die nach nichts schmeckt und sich dadurch alles nach einem Einheitsbrei aka Baukastensystem mit denselben Zutaten anfühlt. :(

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker!!! Absolut köstlich. Der Burger hatte perfekt ausbalancierte Umami-Aromen mit Basilikum, Koriander und marinierter Aubergine – ein echter Wow-Effekt! Für Vegetarier und Veganer ist das ein absolutes Muss! Auch der Spinat war unglaublich lecker.

Super schöne Atmosphäre, Essen und Service waren super. Essen war leider zu salzig.

Mediocre experience. The wraps were the size of an appetizer but cost like a main dish. The chips were soggy and less than a handful. The burger was okay (normal sized). We were still hungry after "eating" there, so we went for a slice of pizza at Slice Society (just 10 minutes away and highly recommend)

The toilets are a disaster. They smell very unpleasant and are simply disgusting.

It was stinky in the restaurant with something organic,but not a smell of a good food. The dish: soup with noodles was also oversalted and smelles weirdly like something burnt and chemical. They see I didn't eat , but I was forced to pay. I've been to this place in 2019-2020, now it absolutely lost its charm and taste. Such a pity!

Very, very delicious and full of ideas.... I always enjoy going there, even as a non-vegan/vegetarian.....

Friendly and quick lunch. The fried buns were a bit too hearty for my taste...I would have preferred a regular (steamed) bao. Still recommended, especially because of the other dishes.

Very disappointing experience. Everything we ordered was bad — the wrap was completely dry, the noodles were tasteless, and even the drink was terrible. The bento box, served in an old-looking bamboo container, was not at all appealing and had almost nothing except sweet potatoes. Nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared. Totally not worth the price.

Among these boring and bland Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin there is Ryong that is soooo different! The best Pho broth, full of spices and flavours... Plus they use asian herbs like shiso mand Thai basil... Keep up good work! Service and vibe is also great! 🙏

The food was awful, the vegetables on one plate were overcooked and cold, while on the other they were still tender and warm. The flavour combination was not ideal at all... a shame, because it used to be such a good restaurant. What's more, the waiter practically forced me to tip him by explaining "the rules in Germany" to me and treating me like a "stupid tourist".

The noodles are fantastic, the broth is extremely flavorful, I would recommend the Foggy Dew and Dragon Bowl. The lemonades are delicious as well! Would recommend!

We ordered the Hulk Burger twice, but unfortunately, the buns were dripping with oil. Despite repeatedly dabbing them with napkins, the oil ran down our fingers. That was a real shame.

I'm a vegetarian and love herbs and special flavors. I get my money's worth here. I loooove this restaurant. The flavors are absolutely amazing, diverse, full-bodied, an explosion of flavors. I especially recommend the pho and soup (in the pho salad, hot rong soba, or dragon bowl). Much of it is organic and homemade. You can definitely taste that, unlike many other restaurants. The people in the kitchen are really good cooks 👍👍👍. The service is also very friendly. Highly recommended. Actually, 15 out of 10 points 😊👍👍👍

Nice restaurant and service. Unfortunately, despite it being off-peak (5:00 PM), we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food and were disappointed with the taste. With the exception of the bowl, everything was tasteless – the dim sum were stuck together. Given the enormous selection in Berlin, we wouldn't go back – it's possible, of course, that we were unlucky with our choice of dishes.

The Hulk Burger is so delicious that I come here regularly, even if it's a 30-minute drive. The atmosphere is very nice. Unfortunately, when there are a lot of customers, it's also very loud, but that's the case in most restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The drinks were a small drawback for me personally, because I just don't like them (I ordered Orange Summer and Morning Cloud, for example. They were just too bitter for me). But I'm not deducting a star for that, because it just wasn't my taste and might be good for others.

I was expecting a run-of-the-mill Vietnamese restaurant. Always delicious, but there are a lot of them. But these flavors were so special! The burgers with tempura-coated bao buns were such a taste experience! Wow. And the dessert (panna cotta in miso-caramel sauce) was also a very special creation. Almost everything on the menu is vegan, which is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

Too bad the 0-star option isn't available! It's surprising that the local guides, who praise the place, are still alive! For me, it was like the night of the living dead in my gut! Don't go there if you don't want to end your city trip in the emergency room!!!

Really not good at all... I don't know why there are so many good reviews... Edit following the owner's response: Thank goodness you can't find this "homemade" cuisine anywhere else, otherwise you'll end up with collective dysentery!

It's one of my top three vegan restaurants I've tried. The broth in the soups is exquisite, with a spectacular flavor and aroma. The burgers have a combination of flavors that won't leave you indifferent. I recommend it 1000%.

Super tasty burgers with a difference. The drinks were also great. Service was very friendly. You sit outside right on the street, but the interior is very cozy.

Both the appetizers and main courses at this restaurant were amazing. The sweet potato tempura and burger are definitely something we'll be returning for.

The food was great. I have absolutely no complaints about the burger and would eat it again and again. I found the starter a bit small for the price. Everything is a bit cramped, but otherwise quite nice.

Ryong pleasantly surprised me. The place is very inviting, cozy yet modern, one of those places where you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. And the best part: the staff. Super friendly, attentive, and with a sense of humor that makes you laugh between courses. It was a very cool dinner, unpretentious but with a great vibe. I would go back in a heartbeat.

A friend recommended eating here, and that's how we found our way here. We're vegetarians—which is exactly the style of the restaurant. The food is delicious! Unfortunately, the portions are quite small, so you sometimes don't get full after one meal. It's too expensive, though.

The food at Ryong tasted okay and was well presented, but the overall experience wasn't entirely convincing. The wait time was relatively long despite moderate business, and I found the portions rather small for the price. The service was friendly but somewhat inattentive. Overall, not a bad restaurant, but rather average given the high expectations and the price.

Great food at Ryong! I had several appetizers – all delicious and creatively presented. My companion had a bento box, which was also impressive. It came with homemade lemonade, which was very refreshing. Nice atmosphere, friendly service – I'd be happy to come back!

Excellent kebab and inexpensive, we really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it. PS: Straightening and aligning the frames would be a great idea.

Pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, a new experience that pleasantly surprised me. Excellent service, tasty food – very satisfied, I recommend with confidence!

The value for money isn't right. The portions are definitely too small. It tastes good. But for the same price, you can get good, filling food elsewhere. Unfortunately, we had to go back for another meal after eating there.

Nice shop. Friendly. Wooden stools without backrests. I think the place is okay, especially if you want to chill out a bit with your guests in Berlin. But keep one thing in mind: no one will get full, and it's not cheap either. Three little Maultauschen six fifty. Nevertheless, I wish the owners much success.

Awful meal!! AVOID!! Inedible dumplings to start, burger was an oily tempura brioche no boa bun in slight and stone cold. Noodle dish also cold and no flavour. Uninterested staff just to top it off.

That was one of the worst foods I had in my 32 years of life. Not hating on the place but thats just the truth. I ordered rice bentu with tofu and sweet potato and the sauce was disgustingly salted and didn’t taste like food at all. Im hoping other dishes are not as bad, but what the hell was that.

As always, it was simply delicious. No matter what, everything tastes divine. Here, you can even try things you might not normally like, and you'll definitely find a taste surprise.

Unfortunately it’s very disappointing how the quality declined over the years. The bao „Hulk burger“ was dripping in oil and so was the „dragon egg“ tempura avocado, which didn‘t look nor taste fresh. The „hot rong soba“ noodles (not pictured) were served with an uncomfortably slimy sauce.

It was a very nice evening with delicious food and drinks. We reserved a table at short notice and got to our table without waiting. The menu is available digitally and the orders were brought quickly.

Nr. 22 !!! Bester vegetarischer Burger !!!

This is one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, burgers in general (not just compared to vegan burgers)

Service was friendly, polite and attentive. The food however was rather unpleasant experience: 7 euros for spring rolls was basically three small pieces, so hot they were stuck on the paper they were served on. Saigon and Raigon Bento for mains 14 euros each for rice with basic toppings and side vegetables which were cold. As a place it is rather touristy, however the interior is modern and cozy. In general would put it into the category of tourist trap.

The Hulk Burger is vegan and tastes delicious even to absolute meat fans. Absolutely recommended to try! Service is nice. Ambience too, just a bit cramped.

We love this place. It used to be in Prenzlauer Berg, then they closed. Our delight last week at finding they are in Torstrasse was immense. I'm sure there are many reasons to eat here. But the stand out has to be the vegetarian burgers. Whatever is in them, they taste just so wonderful. So happy.

These dishes are simply amazing in terms of taste – a variety of flavors harmonize perfectly with each other, creating a truly culinary experience. Fresh ingredients, balanced seasoning, and exciting textures make each dish something special. One small drawback: The menu is only available digitally via QR code, which wasn't really our cup of tea. The prices, especially for drinks, are also rather high. But the quality of the food is so outstanding that the price ultimately feels justified. If you want to experience Vietnamese cuisine at its finest, this is the place for you!

Dark, musty, the food didn't taste good at all and the value for money was zero. Since the menu read well, we made a reservation and were looking forward to an Asian restaurant with a different menu. Disappointed upon entering. A small, dark, narrow restaurant that smelled like a sewer and a huge ventilation system made noise. Also cold. We sat so that we could see the kitchen. The food reads well, but the prices are reasonable, especially when you see what you get. All starters are completely overpriced! Since these are not organic products and the spices come from bulk packaging, absolutely unacceptable. I ordered a so-called wrap and got a cabbage leaf filled with fried things, some of which were so mushy that I didn't know what I was eating. Everything was covered with store-bought vegan mayonnaise. The wrap was not rolled but open, which made eating an adventure. I gave back more than half. The suggestion that it wasn't good was more likely to be followed by a shrug than genuine interest and "compensation". The drinks were tasty but also very small for the price (two sips). Overall, absolutely not recommended. The good to very good reviews really irritate me.

As a vegetarian I had been looking forward to a visit to Ryong for a long time and finally came tonight. The service was nice but the noodles and soup were very bland and the dumplings were inedible due to taste and texture. I honestly hate to write a bad review but was drawn in partially by the glowing reviews this place had and wanted to share my reality. Maybe it was just an off night but we spent €44 euros and left extremely disappointed.

There were three of us here and the food was simply outstanding. Really really good ☺️

The food here is really first class, really something very special, great textures and tastes, not run of the mill, but imaginative and extraordinary. The price-performance ratio is also right here. Great Pinot Blanc. And the service was really nice too! Recommendation!

For vegan/vegetarian Asian fusion restaurants was all fine and good. There were very great alternatives.

Ate vegan for the first time. I am a passionate meat eater and think a main dish without meat is not a main course! But here I was shown something different. The food was excellent, simply an indescribable taste experience. Many restaurants in the Asian cuisine tried something like I have never experienced here. The citizen is awesome, everything is homemade even the vegan mayonnaise is homemade. Super friendly employees and super friendly boss. If I lived in Berlin, this would be my absolute favorite bar. Food and price performance 1+++ even 5 stars are not enough. I'm speechless for the first time.

This vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant definitely has its own charm! The dishes are wonderfully creative and tasty - a real enrichment for anyone who likes to eat a variety of foods. The famous burgers in particular are well seasoned, but quite greasy, which is not for everyone. The service is friendly, but could sometimes be a little more attentive. Nevertheless, I always feel comfortable here and am happy to come back. The combination of the special menu and the great location makes the restaurant a place that I like to visit despite its small weaknesses.

Really good vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Staff is attentive and kind. The food was really delicious, the appetizer was just the right amount, not too filling. The foggy dew noodles were herby, with chili oil combined nice and spicy, and overall very comforting. The downstairs area can get very cold in winter time.

As a vegetarian, this is worth a recommendation: good food with surprising combinations in taste. Service is good and the place is decorated with lots of creativity. Prices are fair too.

Really nice food, fresh and well prepared. We has boa for starters which is usually a main and then 2 noodle soups. Full of flavour, I would recommend and come again in the future for sure 👍

I saw the Hulk burger on social media and came here specifically to try it. The burger was large, topped with lots of vegetables and absolutely delicious. But I was particularly blown away by the Golden Eggs (fried avocados) from the starter menu. Tasty and crispy, like I've rarely experienced. I ate both dishes in the vegan version.

Insanely good food and such a lovely staff, simply amazing! We wanted to eat the “Dragon Egg” as a starter and even got it with vegan mayonnaise! The ramen was also super tasty. Luckily we made reservations because it got pretty full around 7:30 p.m., so even guests without reservations couldn't get a table. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing vegetarian food, bao bun burger was so crispy. We went on Monday and had the lunch menu, very generous pricing. Staff super friendly. Would recommend.

Really loved this place. I'm an Australian so I hold Asian food to an extremely high standard and this far exceeded my expectations. Everything is good quality and constructed well. The setting is beautiful, the tables are nice, the cutlery and plating is well thought out. It's all very good value. The person who served us would have to be one of the most delightful people in the city, she really made it a lovely experience for us.

Believe the hype, the food here is out of this world. We’ve been here twice, tried a total of 4 different bao burgers, they were all so good. The ones that have a tempura fried bun are highly recommend. Also, please try the crème caramel dessert, with a miso caramel sauce. It’s so, so, so good. Cozy place and nice staff too.
