Rusticana Café, Restaurant in Marktoberdorf

Meine Frau und ich waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Rusticana Pizza essen und wir fühlten uns sofort in den Italienurlaub versetzt. Es fehlte nur noch das "parlare italiano". Wir wurden sehr nett Empfangen und konnten uns einen Tisch aussuchen. Wir wurden im angenehmen lockeren Stil sehr gut ohne lange Wartezeit bedient, hatten auch schnell unsere Getränke. Wir bestellten uns die Pizza Butalina und Quattro Formaggi und beide wurden perfekt auf einem Holzbrett serviert, was wir bisher nur aus Italien kannten. Meine Frau bestellte sich noch einen kleinen Beilagensalat, den man in dieser Qualität nur noch sehr selten im Restaurant bekommt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden sehr bald wieder im Rusticana reservieren.

Wir waren zur dritt. Drei unterschiedliche Gerichte und Nachspeisen und alles Top! Die Martina war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir gehen da bestimmt noch öfters hin.

Einfach super!! Ich bin innerhalb von zwei Wochen 5 mal her gekommen um mir diese Pizza nochmal zu genehmigen das Pizza Brot ist außen knusprig innen weich und luftig eine der besten Pizzen die ich je gegessen habe. Die Pasta schmeckt als wären die Nudeln handgemacht. Und vom Ambiente wollen wir garnicht anfangen das Personal ist super nett und immer für einen Lacher zu haben, das Klima ist hier sehr familiär man fühlt sich als wäre man zuhause mit einem 5 Sterne privat Koch. Kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen und ich würde jedes Mal wieder kommen 🙏🏻

Das Essen war einfach unglaublich, das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich wie auch das Personal über freundlich. Ein sehr familiäres Umfeld und Gefühl. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen und sobald ich nochmal hier im Urlaub bin, werde ich definitiv das Restaurant wieder besuchen.

Wir sind ohne zu reservieren hin und hatten Glück das wir so früh dran waren, dass wir vor einer anderen Reservierung noch speisen konnten. Service war super und freundlich, alles ging zügig und Pizzen waren gut. Kann man empfehlen.

Heute waren wir wieder zum Essen im Rusticana. Jede Speise die ich bisher probiert habe schmeckt sehr sehr lecker. Preis-Leistung und Ambiente sind ansprechend.

Die Pizzen waren unglaublich lecker. Allerdings war die Anfahrt wegen der Baustelle schwierig.

Wundervolle nette Bedienung und eine wirklich schöne Atmosphäre zum essen. Die Pizzen sind preisgerecht und sehr gut. Jeden Mittwoch ist Pizzatag für 9,90€ je Pizza. Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren im Mai zweimal dort. Ausgezeichnetes Essen, freundlicher tschechischer Service. Nach dem ersten Besuch kamen wir gleich am nächsten Abend wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit nettem Hof, man merkt, dass es mit Herzblut betrieben wird. Wir waren schon oft dort zum Essen, alles auf der abwechslungsreichen Karte ist sehr lecker, egal ob Pizza (beste in der Stadt! Mega Teig!), Burger, oder Pasta mit Lachs. We were craving really good pizza on Monday evening, so where to go...? Rusticana, of course! The service was fantastic, and the food was, as always, incredibly delicious. I had pasta in a pizza bowl for the first time – absolutely amazing! I hope it stays on the menu for a long time. Keep up the great work; you're by far the best around!

Dear food lovers, you should definitely go to Rusticana Marktoberdorf. The waitress (a tall blonde woman 😁) is very friendly, funny, and competent. The food is served quickly and tastes fantastic. I really enjoy going there and will recommend it to everyone I know.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay and I have to share my impressions :-) Excellent pizzas, very nice service (I admire the waitresses because they didn't stop and despite that they were smiling and pleasant), beautiful and cozy environment. I definitely recommend everyone to stop by this pizzeria and have something good, you won't regret it.

The staff is very friendly. Happy to chat 😃 The vegetarian pizza is good, but I think it could be seasoned a bit more, with various herbs. Italian, of course 😉 You can leave out the paper under the pizza if you like; sometimes you don't know whether you're eating the thin, crispy pizza crust or the paper. With the spicy ones 🔪 😅 The spaghetti was also good, though we thought it could have been a bit "thinner," but I think in Italy, they eat the big ones too 😂

I'm not just a regular customer, but I count Rusticana as my absolute favorite restaurant! My entire family is always thrilled by the lovingly prepared food and the very friendly staff. The pasta dishes are divine – but fish dishes are also among my favorites! The absolute highlight was definitely last year's New Year's Eve menu. We toasted the New Year with the Rusticana family with music and a beautiful fireworks display. I always look forward to a visit to Rusticana!😍

Super Pizza Explanation: I was in Marktoberdorf from August 18, 2025, to August 22, 2025. What can I write? I ate at Rusticana three times that week. I had pizza three times! Incredibly delicious. The service was perfect (high praise to the ladies in the waiting room). A great restaurant that deserves more than five stars. I will definitely be back.

We were recommended here because we were looking for something to eat before 5 p.m. It was a stroke of luck. Friendly service, a very good selection, generous portions, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, thank you very much. The fish platter was also excellent. Thanks to the surroundings, we immediately visited the church afterward.

I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend for a romantic dinner and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is cozy and ideal for an evening for two. The staff was young, very pleasant and took care of us with a smile the whole time. We chose pizza and I must say that we haven't had one like this in a long time. Crispy dough, rich toppings and perfectly balanced flavors - literally a gastronomic orgasm. It is clear that the head chef is a master of his craft, who cooks with heart and soul. Overall, it was an exceptional evening - great food, perfect service and an atmosphere that we will remember fondly.

To start with the positive, the food was really good. All dishes we ordered were well made and if it was purely about the food, I would definitely recommend going. The folks performing the service were below average. We asked for a specific table (nice table with 6 seats, we were 4) and they didn’t want to place us there because of a potential larger group, which didn’t show up while we were there. We even offered to move tables in case this group shows up, but there was no willingness to satisfy our wish. What really threw us off was the facial expression of the service person toward other customers about our ask. She gave us the feeling that we are weirdos asking. Well, it was just a stop on our road trip and the likelihood of ever coming back is tiny, but given this experience, I recommend only going if you are really hungry and out of options.

I've eaten there several times now, and everything was perfect. The pizzas were the best I've ever eaten. The service was excellent; I'll be coming back more often now.

Excellent pizzas, ice-cold service. Waitress clearly allergic to smiling. And even when I got up from the table to ask for hot oil (which is industrial), she pulled a face... even though we had ordered 2 pizzas. In the end, she didn't even ask us if we wanted a coffee. Really a shame!

Was here on a rainy Saturday evening with two friends, which turned out to be a good evening despite the wet weather, the pizza really got us thinking about funny topics, the staff was great, especially the nice lady with the pink hair who is super motivated, the boss was great too, I'd love to come back 🙃

Unfortunately, the demeanor of the employee named Carolina was very irritating for us. I've visited a variety of restaurants on five continents, but I've never encountered such strange behavior as hers. As soon as we entered the restaurant, she rolled her eyes and looked at us with a noticeably dismissive expression. When we politely asked for a seat, she immediately claimed that everything was full – on a Thursday afternoon. The friendly male employee, however, immediately offered us a table until a certain time – very accommodating. We then decided to sit outside. After our order, which was also taken by the friendly colleague, Carolina brought the food. She shoved the pizzas directly into our hands without a word and with a dismissive look, instead of placing them neatly on the table. The same behavior was repeated later with dessert. During the visit, I observed how she interacted with other guests – there, her behavior was completely different: friendly, attentive, professional. I found it difficult to find any other reason for the noticeable dislike towards us – except perhaps our southern appearance. I sincerely hope that wasn't the case, but that's exactly how it felt to us. We've always been big fans of your restaurant – especially because of the very nice and dedicated owner. Therefore, I won't completely downgrade our overall rating – if only because of her and the great young staff. Nevertheless, I want to make it clear: Such disrespectful behavior as Carolina's is absolutely unacceptable and unfortunately, it really soured our visit. We are very disappointed and hope this remains an isolated incident. My wife and I were here on June 21st around 9 p.m. The pizza was incredibly delicious – you can immediately taste the high-quality ingredients and the love with which it was prepared. I've rarely eaten such good pizza - by far the best pizza in the area! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The terrace is also particularly lovely, where you can sit and relax and enjoy your meal – perfect in good weather! The restaurant is located in a very quiet area, ideal for unwinding and enjoying yourself. If you're looking for good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

Essen Service ambience and price-performance ratio are great!

The service was unfriendly and bad-tempered. The tablecloth was dirty, which was completely unacceptable, and one napkin was dirty. The pizza, however, was very tasty. It's a shame that the service doesn't reflect the quality of the food.

The menu offers a wide selection of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, and salads. If you're not into those, there are also alternatives, such as burgers or schnitzel. The offerings are complemented by a weekly special. The food was both delicious and outstanding! The service was very friendly and attentive. Hot meals were also available in the afternoon. We'd be happy to come back.
