We come here regularly and enjoy the lunch menu. Excellent service, lots of charm, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was particularly good! The staff was very friendly and polite.

I booked a standard table online. When I arrived, I was assigned a seat at the bar. When I declined, I was seated in the Adlerstube, which has the feel of a train station concourse when you sit there alone. The food was good, but irrelevant in this setting. Then there's an article on the way to the restroom that I'd rather not have online reviews. But how am I supposed to point out something like that if the waiter isn't receptive to it?

You're simply fantastic. We made a spontaneous reservation and received a warm welcome. A very warm, authentic atmosphere. The broth with dumplings tasted very similar to our mother's broth, and it was beautifully presented. Overall, everything was perfect, and we'd love to come back when we're in the area.

We visited the Zum Sailer restaurant during Steak Week – simply fantastic! 😍 The beef fillet was perfectly prepared, with super delicious side dishes and great sauces. As always, the service was warm and attentive. You feel completely at home! You shouldn't miss Steak Week! 👌 I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sailer restaurant in Marktoberdorf and would like to share my experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is very appealing and inviting. The decor is stylish and well-kept, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. The Sailer menu offers a variety of dishes to suit every taste. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, you'll definitely find something to suit your taste. The selection is extensive and the quality of the food is excellent. I was particularly impressed by the creativity and flavor of the dishes I ordered. The service at the Sailer restaurant is also excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always strives to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. The service was quick and efficient. All in all, I had a wonderful visit to Restaurant Sailer. The ambiance, the menu, and the service completely won me over. I can highly recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The food and service were excellent, although there was a bit limited selection, which was understandable given our large group. We'll definitely be back and order something from the entire menu.

Great restaurant! We were passing through and managed to get a table with 10 people, even though it was a school day! The service team was simply fantastic; that's how you'd want to be served! The food made it perfect; we were very, very satisfied! I wish there were people and places like this again! Many thanks to the entire team! If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by!

I had a roast beef, the meat wasn't tender and was only lukewarm. There was no sauce either. The plate was cold...I expected something better. There was no drinks menu either. Very disappointing.

Very tasty food, very friendly service, pleasant ambience

Great food, great atmosphere. We've been to Sailer 3-4 times, and it's been great every time. We recently went during "Burger Weeks," with a great selection of burgers, all fresh and incredibly tasty. It was just a shame that our toddler wasn't offered a children's menu or coloring pencils, even though both were available (both were brought upon request :))

We reserved a table at the Zum Seiler restaurant via OpenTable, which worked without any problems. We were politely shown to our table. The tables are quite close together, but that didn't bother us too much. The service was very good – our server was extremely friendly, and the drinks arrived quickly. One major drawback for us, however, was the menu: We had already chosen dishes online that weren't available in the restaurant. Instead, there was a burger week with only a small excerpt from the actual evening menu. Unfortunately, this wasn't visible on the website and disappointed us. Therefore, we're deducting a star. The food we ordered was truly outstanding: The baked dumplings were very juicy, the potato salad was homemade, and the cheese spaetzle were served in a wooden bowl for scooping out – delicious and a nice touch. The value for money was also good. Overall, a successful evening, despite a slight disappointment with the menu – hence 4 stars.

We received a friendly welcome in this very clean, quiet, and cozy restaurant and were shown to our reserved table. The selection of food and drinks is generous and well worth the price. The appearance, portion sizes, and taste of the starters, main courses, and desserts are excellent. The service is also prompt and friendly. The restrooms are equally clean. They are located in the basement, but there is an elevator if needed. The restaurant is on the ground floor and therefore easily accessible even for people with limited mobility. We would be happy to come back!

You feel very comfortable in this restaurant; combined with the service, the delicious and beautifully presented food, and the great ambiance, it's always a charming experience. The lunch menu is also highly recommended, as you can get either a delicious soup or a delicious side salad and a delicious main course for very little money. Burger Weeks! It was once again delicious. Great burger selection. And the service team, as always, was quick and very helpful.

Very tasty lunch dishes including salad or soup for under 12 euros. Great ambiance, decorated with taste and style. The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous, but not intrusive. The food was an absolute feast for the palate! Certainly a few euros more expensive than in other restaurants, but you can taste the difference between the dishes! So much craftsmanship and love goes into the food; every bite is a delight. The roast beef was top-notch. Great meat, cooked to perfection. Homemade croquettes: I haven't had any better. For dessert, iced Kaiserschmarrn with cherries and rum raisins! Again: NO rum flavoring, but real rum! So delicious, highly recommended 💖 We'll definitely be back when we're in the Allgäu. And if you haven't tried "Sailers" yet, you've definitely missed out!

A friend invited me there for my birthday, as she eats there every month. It was a good decision! The ambiance, whether inside or outside, is fantastic. Clean, tasteful with details. Reservations would be a good idea. If you sit outside in warm weather, there aren't any seats available later. The service was very, very nice! Attentive, friendly, and quick. Our child was given something to draw straight away, without us even asking. As our son was already getting a bit tired, the atmosphere was a bit difficult for us as we didn't want to disturb anyone while they were eating. The food always arrived promptly. There were no long waits. The welcome greeting from the kitchen was very good. I can't remember the name of the spread. The starters were amazing. My friend always eats the meat dumpling soup there! The broth was particularly tasty. I had the caramelized goat cheese. The combination of nectarine, arugula, pumpkin seed oil, and broiche was perfect. I like unusual food combinations that you wouldn't eat at home (or would think of). The fries for the kid, without salt, were cooked to perfection. The main course was absolutely fantastic! According to my boyfriend, he's never eaten such tender pork loin! (And he often eats them in restaurants). It was a daily special with chanterelle mushrooms, broccoli, and some kind of meatball. He really enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the fried chicken with fries. She liked it anyway. The rest was packed away. I had the boiled beef with leek vegetables, apple horseradish, egg sauce, horseradish, and rösti (fried fried potatoes). I'd never seen or eaten rösti like that before! I hadn't even heard of the horseradish and egg sauce, but it was fantastic! The leeks tasted great, and the meat, which was more like "flakes," was cooked to perfection! It melted in your mouth! The whole meal was delicious, everyone enjoyed it, and it was cooked to perfection! You can tell the chef knows what he's doing! Reasonable value for money! A small menu, but fresh, homemade ingredients. You can not only see it (also in the way it's presented), you can also taste it! First place is well deserved! And thanks for finding my bag and putting it to the side. I had forgotten it and only realized it was missing once we were already home. 🤦🏼‍♀️

6 out of 5 points! The lunch was really delicious. Probably the best pork I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious! Great sauce, tasty meat, Kaiser vegetables, salad (sauce) really good... And all that for just under 12 euros: Really enjoyable, highly recommended! The restroom is clean and fun (blah blah blah blah blah is the women's restroom, blah is the men's restroom).

An attractive ambiance both inside and out. We believe a reservation is essential, as there are only limited spaces on the terrace. The food is delicious, lovingly prepared, and meticulously presented with attention to detail. The produce is locally sourced, freshly prepared, and not overly conventional. The staff are exceptionally attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is dog-friendly. There is no parking in front of the door, but it is possible to find a space nearby. We would be happy to return.

Since we were visiting Marktoberdorf, I was eager to visit the "Zum Seiler" inn. The menu is typically Austrian and offers something for every taste. There are traditional dishes, some of which are given a modern twist. Simply a delight. The service is also super friendly and always attentive. Great restaurant, which I highly recommend.

Yesterday, the two of us had dinner together and were thrilled! Beef tartar, meadow herb soup, cheese spaetzle, and the daily special, pork fillet with almond balls. All the dishes were outstanding; we haven't had such a good meal in a long time. Many thanks to the chef and his staff.

The value for money is outstanding. I was very surprised by the gastronomic gem that lurks in the tranquil village of Marktoberdorf. The starter was a real eye-catcher. Caramelized goat cheese from the Bregenzerwald region. A delicate composition and wonderful flavors, which I unfortunately couldn't fully analyze. Pork fillet like I've never eaten before, cooked to perfection, slightly pink, with buttered mushrooms, delicate. The honey roast pork, wow, the sauce!!! Service: unobtrusive, friendly, competent. Austria meets Allgäu, exactly! And super good.

We were guests at this year's summer festival. Unfortunately, the service was not up to scratch. In addition to some snarky remarks, they also failed to inform us that the kitchen would be closing at 9 p.m. From this point on, the beverage service was also severely limited. Excellent food and a great restaurant. Everything tasted excellent. Special requests were accommodated without hesitation. One small criticism: We were there on a very warm day, and my draft beer wasn't quite cold on two occasions. I would have preferred even colder beer or pre-chilled glasses.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the "LAMAS" concert, which took place in the front part of the restaurant. Everything was just perfect from start to finish. The event was a truly fantastic experience, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and attentive service – friendly, helpful, prompt, and always smiling, even in stressful situations. The band "LAMAS" – a great mix of Italian hits, German and international chart hits – they had everything! Thank you for this fantastic experience, and I look forward to my next visit! As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted, the dishes were presented in a friendly manner and we were served with great recommendations. My friend and I were passing through Stuttgart at the weekend and we came across this great restaurant thanks to the very good reviews. These are definitely justified. The ambience, the service and of course the most important thing, the food, was really fabulous overall. The starter was very tasty and visually appealing, a kind of “ham on a clothesline” :-). The main courses were very, very tasty and so large that my friend had to finish my portion - which doesn't happen often. The prices are definitely justified too. All in all, we loved this restaurant and will definitely stop by again if we're in the area!

At lunch at Sailer you get the best quality at a very fair price. The service also combines high quality with warm friendliness. Conclusion: it tastes great and you feel welcome! What more could you want?

I was having dinner with my wife. She had a very creative form of a Caesar salad and I recommended the wild garlic cordon bleu. It was very, very good and absolutely recommended 😊 We were actually full but the dessert selection left us no choice but to grab one too. Das Essen und der Service war sehr gut. Allerdings haben wir mit einem Gutschein bezahlt der nach Ansicht des Gastronomen zu alt war. Er hat ihn nur mit 30% Abschlag angenommen. Das finde ich gelinde gesagt unverschämt. Das hat leider den Abend verdorben.

Since dogs are unfortunately also welcome, this does not actually correspond to the customs of a good restaurant. As happened to us, it is not very hygienic if a wet and smelly dog ​​shakes itself off next to you while you are eating.

A holiday in Marktoberdorf always includes a visit to the “zum Sailer” restaurant. This time everything was perfect again. A friendly welcome and escort to the reserved table in the Kurfürstenstube. I've had the Vulcano raw ham on the "clothesline" the last few times, very tasty, but today something different. Today I chose the Styrian mushroom soup with Vulcano raw ham and croutons as a starter. The ham harmonized wonderfully with the soup. For the main course, I followed the recommendation of the attentive service. The half duck was well prepared and tasted wonderful; my Merlot went perfectly with it. I had already chosen the digestif. However, there were two companies of a local tractor manufacturer in our room. When we entered, three out of about 20 people were able to say hello. That would still work. But the volume was a bit too much for me. That's why I preferred to have the digestif in the quiet hotel bar. The restaurant can't help it and that's why I'll be happy to come back. It will (hopefully) not be the case that I will meet the loud group again.

For me it was absolutely top. The food was sensational, with exemplary service. The prices are absolutely okay. Highly, highly recommended. It's a bit of a ride for me, but I'd happily do it again.

We had a great dinner at 'Zum Sailer' today. We had reserved a table (which is definitely recommended). When we arrived and throughout the rest of the meal we were treated very friendly and courteously by the entire staff. We each have a starter and a main course. The food was extremely tasty and very attractively prepared. All in all, the Sailer was a 10/10 for us and highly recommended.

Die Qualität von Speisen und Service bei Zum Sailer sind unschlagbar. Beim 2-Gänge-Menü im Mittagstisch kommt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hinzu. Genau deshalb kommen wir regelmäßig wieder.
