Super nice staff, the food was delicious. You have to try the homemade saffron-ginger-cardamom lemonade. Very good price-performance ratio.

We had Afghan food for the first time, it was very tasty, plentiful, cheap and the service was very friendly, absolutely recommended!!

A great enrichment for the Gallusviertel with dishes that would make you come back again and again. Since the food is not only delicious, but the service is also incredibly warm and the atmosphere is cozy, both inside and on the cozy terrace, Rumis has become one of my favorite places in Frankfurt.

You can sit outside here well. The restaurant is very stylish but not over the top. The service was one of the best, really great. We ordered bread and spicy. The food was delicious. I can recommend “I want to try everything”. Price/performance is right.

A super cute restaurant with a beer garden. It's very comfortable to sit there and the service is great. We had dinner there with a large group after our wedding. The advice in advance and the selected dishes were excellent, and drinks were always super quick. The Rumis team gave us an unforgettable wedding afternoon. And we felt completely comfortable. Our guests were also full of praise.

Cute place and good food. We order the bolani as starter, the potato with egg plant and meat and all in rice. The bolani was just amazing. Potato was good and the rice was ok. The sides for the rice were very good, but the rice itself was not the best. Overall a good experience with great value for money. Recommend.

I recently visited an Afghan restaurant and found the experience generally pleasant. The meals were good, though they fell short of delivering a "wow" factor. On the positive side, the prices were quite reasonable, and the staff were notably friendly and attentive.

Everything tastes delicious, I especially like the lentil cream, Kumpir and the homemade lemonade.

Even if the food at "Rumi's" is not necessarily authentic, this restaurant remains the first introduction to the 5 star cuisine of the noble ARIA from the holy Ariana/Avestan/Corasan, which is always (D'ari=Darbari=Dar en bar Aria ) speaking Afg...The birthplace of the holy mother Ma'aria'am...Jesus undertook a 5-year walk there...Where love, poetry, philosophy, wine, God Aria Mazda, the prophet Zoroaster originated ... Ambience is nice. Service was very friendly. The food tasted good, but not entirely authentic unfortunately. I think it's a shame that very tasty national dishes like Kaboli Palau and Mantu or Ashak are not on the menu. It's like there's no pizza or pasta at an Italian restaurant.

The service is warm, the food is inexpensive (stews <10€) and simple. Cooked very soft. Could be a little al dente. The chairs are hard. I'll be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in FFM. Everything was super tasty, large portions. Super nice staff and everything is always quick. 👍 Large vegetarian selection, card payment is possible, bicycle racks in front of the door. A little dream.

Positively surprised! I followed a recommendation from a work colleague and found the food very tasty and inexpensive. No Afghan “Sunday cuisine”, i.e. elaborate dishes, but very good kumpir and stuffed naan. Gladly again, I can especially recommend the lemonade and the Kabul naan!

Großartiges Restaurant mit afghanischen kulinarischen Genüssen - und hervorragenden Waffeln 🤪. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut top. Die Einrichtung genießt an der ein oder anderen Stelle eine Mixtur aus Studentenkneipe und gemütlichem Restaurant was aber im Gesamtkonzept absolut stimmig daherkommt.

Wir kamen wegen yes Kumpir werden aber wiederkommen. Es gibt wenige erlesene Speisen die aber dann auch was können. Preis ist fair, Service freundlich, Essen ist frisch. Mir ist auch wichtig, dass man vegan Essende nicht vergisst, so war es hier auch. Rundum gut also ;(

Eins meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants in Frankfurt! Essen ist super schnell fertig, Geschmack hervorragend, immer wechselnde Gemüsebeilage der Woche. Sehr nettes Personal, gehen auf Sonderwünsche ein, alles tip top! Schade, dass ihr nicht in der Innenstadt seid, eine zweite Filiale hier wäre echt super. 👍🏼

Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Der Reis und die Beilagen waren sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und arbeitet zügig. Auch das Ambiente ist stimmig. War rundum zufrieden!

Unglaublich freundlich, sehr serviceorientiert. Immer herzlich und gastfreundlich, Habe mich durch einen Großteil der Karte gegessen und alles war sehr vorzüglich. Allein vermisse ich für ein afghanisches Restaurant ein Kabuli. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Die Limonaden sind hervorragend und frisch. Der Außenbereich ist einfach schön. Schade, dass es abends im Sommer recht früh schließen muss.

Richtig gutes Essen, tolle vegetarische Auswahl und vor allem echt große Portionen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise zu zweit zwei Teigtaschen und danach ein Hauptgericht und es war so viel, dass wir es beide einpacken lassen mussten. Und trotzdem nicht zu teuer. Klare Empfehlung!

Sehr leckeres Essen, wo man wirklich schmeckt, dass es nach Art des Hauses frisch zubereitet ist. Eine positiv andere Art zu essen. Hier kann man eine nette Atmosphäre genießen. Die Innenräume sind recht einfach gehalten. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das sehr aufmerksame, freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal! Nachdem wir von der Servicekraft zu unserem Tisch gebracht wurden, wurden wir nochmal vom ersten Mann am Tresen, ich glaube dem Inhaber, begrüßt und willkommen geheißen. Wo hat man das denn heute noch außerhalb der Spitzengastronomie, in einem Restaurant niedrigerer Preisklasse?

Das Restaurant ist gut zu finden und hat einen schönen Eingang. Auch der Innenbereich ist vereinzelt mit orientalischen Ornamenten dekoriert. Unser Service war sehr aufmerksam, wir mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten. Die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich, Preis und Leistung fanden wir gut. Auch unser Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt (Bolani, Kumpir, Eintopf, Waffel mit Haselnusseis). Die Portionen waren groß, sodass wir den Rest haben einpacken lassen. Allerdings 1 Stern Abzug, weil es als Dessert nur Waffeln mit einer Beilage gibt. Ich bin mir sicher, dass die afghanische Küche für andere und bessere Nachspeisen bekannt ist. Wir werden wieder kommen und noch die anderen Gerichte der Karte probieren. Bezahlung ist mit EC Karte möglich. Pluspunkt ;-)

Our friends took us here for dinner the other night. Nice place, but not what we're used to as an Afghani restaurant. There were 7 of us, and we all pretty much had the stuffed Naan. Mine was the Athena, which had feta with salad, and I added chicken. It was good. My wife had the eggplant with salad, and added chicken, which she also liked. Overall, the food was good.

Super liebe Leute die richtig leckeres Essen kochen/servieren und auch bei viel Stress die Gäste nichts davon Spuren lassen. Wir waren teilweise bereits vorher da, teilweise das erste Mal - aber definitiv nicht das letzte Mal!! Ganz große Klasse, vielen Dank für alles!

Wir gehen regelmäßig hier essen und sind begeistert! Sehr leckere afghanische Gerichte zu vernünftigen Preisen in gemütlicher Athmosphäre. Der Service ist wirklich großartig, sehr freundliche Leute- auch bei viel Betrieb sind alle sehr aufmerksam und nicht aus der Ruhe zu bringen. Das Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen. Gastwirt und Personal sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das ist Essen ist schmackhaft, gut zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Zudem sind die Preis ganz normal. Wir können es nur empfehlen und werden das nächste Mal, wenn wir in Frankfurt sind wieder hin gehen.

Das Rumis liegt gleich bei mir um diebEcke und ichvwar neugierig mal etwas anderes an Küche auszuprobieren. Nettes kleines Lokal mit Terrasse im Sommer, das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, der Service ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit beim aussuchen der Speisen. Ich habe mich für das Kumpir mit Auberginen und Linsen entschieden. Das Kumpir ist eine Ofenkartoffel mit einigen Zutaten, dazu kann man sich Beilagen aussuchen, ideal für Vegetarier. Um es kurz zu machen, es hat vorzüglich geschmeckt und ich kann nur empfehlen, diese interessante und orientalische Küche im Rumis auszuprobieren. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch einiges in den nächsten Monaten probieren!

Was exhibiting at Frankfurt Messe. Work colleagues had planned to eat at restaurant nearby that couldn’t fit us in as it was full owing to the expo that was on at the Messe. Saw Rumi across the road and manage to a table - menu said Afghan cuisine. Had no idea what that meant although some menu descriptives similar to Indian Restaurant menu. Opted for a Naan based dish (vegetarian option) was filled with salad / Daal dumplings .. yogurt dip and coriander tomato drizzled chutneys .. other colleagues had what was rice based dish with aubergine okra tapas all presented like a Buddha Bowl .. what was an apprehensive start finished with a satisfying taste meal. Drinks menu average .. atmosphere semi bohemian chilled. Great service and absolute great value for money .. overall experience 7.75/10

Wir sind häufig dort, und wurden nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist lecker, fast alles vegetarisch, frisch gemacht und Preis/Leistung ist hervorragend. Die Atmosphäre im lauschigen Gärtchen ist locker, das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen sind ideal auch zum Abholen und zu Hause essen, wenn es mal keinen Platz vor Ort gibt. Die veganen Frikadellen haben sogar einen Fleischliebhaber überzeugt. Die Samosas sind auch sehr lecker.
