The food is very tasty, the drinks and lemonades are homemade and varied. The staff are all friendly and attentive. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside in a lovely little shady garden. It can be quite noisy inside, but the staff are always happy to turn the music down upon request. The ambiance and atmosphere are pleasant. We'd be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, we have to lower our score. While the food is good, the attitude of the owner is unfortunately not right. What a pity.

Six of us ate there, and everyone was completely satisfied. Very attentive service, great homemade lemonades, delicious food, a lovely atmosphere. And really good value for money. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Afghan restaurant with authentic dishes. The menu features many lentil stews, mantu, kumpir, and great salads. There is a wide selection of vegetarian options. The chicken salad (Salat Kabul) was served warm and was wonderfully seasoned with the yogurt dressing.

All the dishes were delicious. Great for vegetarians. The drinks were also delicious, for example, the teas with whole cinnamon sticks. Only the hot chocolate with mint was far too sweet; I couldn't drink it.

It's delicious... The owner also recommended the menu. The mango banana smoothie is so delicious that it's scary. I ate the salad and meatball menu, but if you wrap it in naan, it's almost like a kebab. The portion is generous. The rice tastes even better when you eat it with the yogurt and spicy sauce that comes with it. I highly recommend the salad naan. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it.

As always, the food is delicious. Very friendly and professional service.

Unfortunately, the food tasted strongly of Maggi or Fondor (flavor enhancers) despite the previous question and answer that there was nothing in it. The flatbread for dinner was cold and just straight out of the bag. Despite a detailed order, a guest was forgotten and simply didn't receive any food. It's very noisy, you sit in the smell of the kitchen and your clothes stink afterwards.

Wir gehen hier mittags gerne mit den Kollegen hin. Das Prinzip ist simpel, wenige Gerichte auf der Karte, variierbar wie ein Baukastensystem. Alles super lecker. Ich habe bisher Kumpir und Naan probiert, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die selbstgemachten Limonaden sind sehr erfrischend. Service ist freundlich und super schnell. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

A really good restaurant in the Gallusviertel. I love the Kumpir with shepherd's cheese and eggplant and the ginger-saffron lemonade. The service is attentive and quick, the food is cheap and the portions are large. There is also a large selection of waffles. Especially recommended for vegetarians.

We went here for lunch with a group and were not disappointed! The service was courteous and we all received our food very quickly. We enjoyed everything and the selection of dishes left nothing to be desired. I had Kumpir with eggplant and minced meat, which was delicious. The selection of drinks is also great. The overall price-performance ratio is excellent. The restaurant is very easy to reach using public transport and there are plenty of free parking spaces on the street.

A great enrichment for the Gallusviertel with dishes that would make you come back again and again. Since the food is not only delicious, but the service is also incredibly warm and the atmosphere is cozy, both inside and on the cozy terrace, Rumis has become one of my favorite places in Frankfurt.

A super cute restaurant with a beer garden. It's very comfortable to sit there and the service is great. We had dinner there with a large group after our wedding. The advice in advance and the selected dishes were excellent, and drinks were always super quick. The Rumis team gave us an unforgettable wedding afternoon. And we felt completely comfortable. Our guests were also full of praise.

Cute place and good food. We order the bolani as starter, the potato with egg plant and meat and all in rice. The bolani was just amazing. Potato was good and the rice was ok. The sides for the rice were very good, but the rice itself was not the best. Overall a good experience with great value for money. Recommend.

I recently visited an Afghan restaurant and found the experience generally pleasant. The meals were good, though they fell short of delivering a "wow" factor. On the positive side, the prices were quite reasonable, and the staff were notably friendly and attentive.

Everything tastes delicious, I especially like the lentil cream, Kumpir and the homemade lemonade.

Even if the food at "Rumi's" is not necessarily authentic, this restaurant remains the first introduction to the 5 star cuisine of the noble ARIA from the holy Ariana/Avestan/Corasan, which is always (D'ari=Darbari=Dar en bar Aria ) speaking Afg...The birthplace of the holy mother Ma'aria'am...Jesus undertook a 5-year walk there...Where love, poetry, philosophy, wine, God Aria Mazda, the prophet Zoroaster originated ... Where the founders of the Taj Mahal, also those of the Egyptian pyramids and all major religions come from... ..and much more. ..."Without the Aria, who already live on other planets, humanity would still be sitting on trees today." Ambience is nice. Service was very friendly. The food tasted good, but not entirely authentic unfortunately. I think it's a shame that very tasty national dishes like Kaboli Palau and Mantu or Ashak are not on the menu. It's like there's no pizza or pasta at an Italian restaurant.

Had dinner here and had a rice dish and a potato dish. Both delicious. Very good value for money.

The service is warm, the food is inexpensive (stews <10€) and simple. Cooked very soft. Could be a little al dente. The chairs are hard. I'll be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in FFM. Everything was super tasty, large portions. Super nice staff and everything is always quick. 👍 Large vegetarian selection, card payment is possible, bicycle racks in front of the door. A little dream.

Positively surprised! I followed a recommendation from a work colleague and found the food very tasty and inexpensive. No Afghan “Sunday cuisine”, i.e. elaborate dishes, but very good kumpir and stuffed naan. Gladly again, I can especially recommend the lemonade and the Kabul naan!

Großartiges Restaurant mit afghanischen kulinarischen Genüssen - und hervorragenden Waffeln 🤪. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut top. Die Einrichtung genießt an der ein oder anderen Stelle eine Mixtur aus Studentenkneipe und gemütlichem Restaurant was aber im Gesamtkonzept absolut stimmig daherkommt.
