Leckere gefüllte naan Rollen, insb die veganen Frikadellen (frisch) und tolle Limonaden (teuer). Herzlicher Service.

Essen war super, hätte ein bisschen mehr sein können, aber für die Qualität und den Preis ausgezeichnet. Extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Außenbereich ist sehr gemütlich da eine kleine Hecke das Restaurant von der Straße abgrenzt.

Update 2026: Nach langer Zeit war ich wieder da und dachte, ich müsste ein Gericht bestellen, das ich schon kannte – nur um dann positiv überrascht zu werden von den neuen Gerichten auf der Speisekarte, die alle die gleiche hervorragende Qualität und den unverwechselbaren Geschmack boten. Dieses Mal waren wir eine Gruppe von etwa 20 Personen. Dank der Reservierung bekamen wir sofort einen Tisch, was den Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Wie immer war der Service schnell und die Mitarbeiter unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. ————————— Ein schönes Erlebnis in der Afghanischen Küche. Ich war dort mit meinen Kollegen zu einem Geschäftsessen. Aufgrund unserer großen Gruppe war eine Reservierung erforderlich. Super freundliches Personal, guter und schneller Service sowie super leckeres Essen mit einer großen Auswahl.

Essen ganz geil. Bedienung Top... eigentlich nichts auszusetzen, der 1-Sterne abzug kommt vom zeitweisen Kanalisationsgeruch auf der Terasse.

Einer meiner Lieblingsorte in der Stadt. Bevor sie diese Filiale in Frankfurt eröffneten, war ich regelmäßig in Wiesbaden. Mittlerweile gibt es mehrere Filialen in der Stadt, alle mit fantastischem Kumpir, aber dies war die erste, die ich kennengelernt habe, und ich erinnere mich noch gut daran, wie begeistert ich war, als sie mir erzählten, dass sie nach Frankfurt kommen würden. 🛸

Sehr leckeres afghanisches Essen bei freundlichen Besitzern und angestellten. Sowohl drinnen als auch im sonnigen Außenbeleuchtung kann man gut essen. Selbstgemachte Limonade, sehr gut gekürzte Kebab und guter Kaffee. Ein Besuch lohnt auf jeden Fall!

Das Reisgericht "Ich will alles probieren" war riesig und lecker, die Bedienung sehr flink und freundlich. Der Aussenbereich ist erstaunlich ruhig, trotz Nähe zur Galluswarte. Dort kann man am Abend entspannen.

Auch wenn das Essen im "Rumi's" nicht unbedingt authentisch ist, bleibt dieses Lokal dennoch der erste Einstieg in die 5 Sterne Küche der edlen ARIA aus dem heiligen Ariana/Avestan/Corasan, das stets (D'ari=Darbari=Dar en bar Aria) sprechende Afg...Der Geburtsort der heiligen Mutter Ma'aria'am ... Jesus unternahm einen 5 jährigen Fußmarsch dorthin...Dort, wo die Liebe, Poesie, Philosophie, der Wein, Gott Aria Mazda, der Prophet Zarathustra stammt... Dort, wo die Gründer des Taj Mahals, auch die der ägyptischen Pyramiden und aller großen Religionen herkommen... ..u.v.v.v.m. ..."Ohne den Aria, die bereits auf anderen Planeten leben, würde die Menschheit auch heute noch auf Bäumen sitzen." Das Essen war wirklich gut. Die Portionen waren riesig. Der Kellner war außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit, da wir die Gegend nicht kannten und kein Deutsch sprachen.

Fantastischer kleiner Restaurant, sehr leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen. Und der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das vegane Reisgericht kann ich sehr empfehlen und auch den veganen Mango-Lassi.

Ich habe jetzt schon einige Male in diesem Restaurant gegessen und bin jedes Mal vom Essen begeistert. Man kann die Gerichte auch gut außer Haus bestellen und zu Hause essen (am besten man holt es selbst ab). Der Kumpir mit Okraschote und Aubergine ist mein Lieblingsgericht. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich. In den wärmeren Monaten kann man sehr entspannt draußen sitzen. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Leckeres Essen und super Service! Wir hatten vorweg den Hummus und dann die Kumpir mit Linsencreme/Hähnchen und Karottensalat/Okra. Es war alles einfach echt lecker und wir kommen, auf jeden Fall, wieder.

The food arrived cold, even though the restaurant was practically empty. The taste was also disappointing – blandly seasoned and not at all as described on the menu. The service was friendly, but extremely slow, and we had to follow up several times before anything happened. The atmosphere also left much to be desired: loud, hectic, and generally uninviting. For the price, I definitely expected more. I probably won't be coming back.

Friendly and attentive service. Food and drinks are fairly priced. I would definitely return. The only downside, in my opinion, is the cramped seating arrangement. The restaurant was busy – a constant flow of people coming and going – which must be for a good reason. A top spot for exotic food.

A very nice place to eat delicious stuffed baked potatoes with various toppings, among other things. Very friendly service.

Everything was perfect here: the food was delicious and served quickly. The portions were large. I loved that the menu wasn't overly extensive. However, the dishes can be varied depending on the ingredients. The drinks menu also had a great selection. You can sit outside, and it's very cozy. We were able to have a good conversation, and the noise level was low. The service was particularly noteworthy during our visit. Very friendly and attentive. Even paying separately, and the billing worked well – I've had a completely different experience in Frankfurt. Highly recommended, and all in all, it offers very good value for money.

The restaurant is centrally located

The food is very tasty, the drinks and lemonades are homemade and varied. The staff are all friendly and attentive. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside in a lovely little shady garden. It can be quite noisy inside, but the staff are always happy to turn the music down upon request. The ambiance and atmosphere are pleasant. We'd be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, we have to lower our score. While the food is good, the attitude of the owner is unfortunately not right. What a pity.

Beautiful Afghan restaurant with authentic dishes. The menu features many lentil stews, mantu, kumpir, and great salads. There is a wide selection of vegetarian options. The chicken salad (Salat Kabul) was served warm and was wonderfully seasoned with the yogurt dressing.

All the dishes were delicious. Great for vegetarians. The drinks were also delicious, for example, the teas with whole cinnamon sticks. Only the hot chocolate with mint was far too sweet; I couldn't drink it.

It's delicious... The owner also recommended the menu. The mango banana smoothie is so delicious that it's scary. I ate the salad and meatball menu, but if you wrap it in naan, it's almost like a kebab. The portion is generous. The rice tastes even better when you eat it with the yogurt and spicy sauce that comes with it. I highly recommend the salad naan. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it.

Wir gehen hier mittags gerne mit den Kollegen hin. Das Prinzip ist simpel, wenige Gerichte auf der Karte, variierbar wie ein Baukastensystem. Alles super lecker. Ich habe bisher Kumpir und Naan probiert, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die selbstgemachten Limonaden sind sehr erfrischend. Service ist freundlich und super schnell. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Unfortunately, the food tasted strongly of Maggi or Fondor (flavor enhancers) despite the previous question and answer that there was nothing in it. The flatbread for dinner was cold and just straight out of the bag. Despite a detailed order, a guest was forgotten and simply didn't receive any food. It's very noisy, you sit in the smell of the kitchen and your clothes stink afterwards.

A really good restaurant in the Gallusviertel. I love the Kumpir with shepherd's cheese and eggplant and the ginger-saffron lemonade. The service is attentive and quick, the food is cheap and the portions are large. There is also a large selection of waffles. Especially recommended for vegetarians.

We went here for lunch with a group and were not disappointed! The service was courteous and we all received our food very quickly. We enjoyed everything and the selection of dishes left nothing to be desired. I had Kumpir with eggplant and minced meat, which was delicious. The selection of drinks is also great.
