Kebab Han in Frankfurt am Main

Hygiene is really not exemplary: service staff (like to) put their hands/fingers in their mouths and bring the food straight afterwards - or go to the toilet and don't wash their hands - disgusting

Wouldn't recommend it, food doesn't taste good, service was very bad, no cutlery.

Average kebab, poor service. After a long search, I found the best kebab shop in the area to eat a good Frankfurt kebab. The ingredients looked fresh, as did the skewer, so order it. There was no person in front of me, but I was only greeted by the kebab man after 3! Minutes waiting time asked what I would like to order. He didn't look like he had anything to do. Then he finished my kebab very slowly without asking me what I wanted on the kebab. Packed quickly and sent to me to pay (at the counter opposite. Plus point). I then had to take my kebab with everything (even though I didn't want that) for €9.50. To my regret, the salad wasn't quite as fresh as it looked when I went in and I had to remove almost half of the salad. I could have just gone to Burger King. I won't come again.

Super nice service and also all other employees. Facilities and ambience really inviting. Food: we ordered Iskander Kabab and meat skewers. In short: super tasty! All ingredients are fresh, not overly fatty but perfectly prepared and simply delicious! Clear recommendation and we'll be back, even though the area around it isn't ideal, but the restaurant alone is worth coming here!

A great place to eat breakfast! I got the eggs with lamb, and it was phenomenal- I’ve never had eggs that I loved so much I also received fresh, warm bread to go with it all, which was also spectacular The manager is very nice and kind (he also speaks English) and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is also very nice - it’s well decorated They also accept payment by credit card, which is an added bonus Overall I will be coming back!!

Today I was with my wife and daughter at the Watan Kebab Restaurant on Münchener Straße in Frankfurt. The new store recently opened and offers an exciting mix of Turkish and Afghan cuisine. We decided to try the Afghan dishes and it was a great experience. The restaurant is modern and attractively decorated, with some fascinating images from Afghanistan that tell the country's history. The ambience was really impressive. Despite the full house on Sunday evening around 5-6pm, the service was excellent. Our waiter, who is from Afghanistan, was incredibly nice and helpful. He gave us lots of tips about the dishes and made sure that we felt completely comfortable. At the end of our meal we tried the Afghan ice cream, Shir Yakh, and it was extremely delicious - definitely the best ice cream we've ever had. The master who made the ice cream is extremely good at his job and impressed us with his artistry. Overall, our visit to Watan Kebab was a fantastic experience and we can highly recommend the restaurant.

We waited forever for our food. Meat was then cold and kebab only had(!) meat (perhaps well-intentioned...) Others (takeaway) were obviously served before us. As a Frankfurter, I can only advise everyone to avoid this shop. There are also much better kebabs in the Bahnhofsviertel for less money and time...

Unfortunately, the meat on our kebab plate wasn't warm and the portion was also small. The waiter seemed very listless. The atmosphere seems very clean and nicely decorated.

We were there with a small child. There is enough space for strollers. There is also a children's high chair. We were there mainly for Afghan specialties and ordered Mantu and Ashak. While we waited, we were served warm, freshly baked bread with delicious Afghan chattni. We really enjoyed Mantu and Ashak!

Ayran refined with a little mint which is quite interesting, but unfortunately it wasn't cold or cool. Doner ok, but ordered with a lot of sauce and it came almost dry. In short, unfortunately nothing special

The worst kebab I've ever eaten: small and tasteless. Additionally, the order took more than 30 minutes even though the place was almost empty. Maybe other dishes on the menu taste better, but my experience was bad.

Very expensive for what it is (quality & quantity) We got take away to our hotel ,what we bought wasn't exactly what we paid for because we didn't check before leaving restaurant ,it was packaged ! They've an overrated rating, I thing paid marketing campaign ,not the real value of it. We saw it was empty ,but make the misate to try it , by thinking it's expensive so quality , we saw on the road other restaurants full !! Tourist trap ! To be honest a nice smiling manager, but those make the meal not so much

I ordered mix grill dish. The spicing was not good. I asked if they can have grilled tomatoes instead of rice. The answer was yes and surprisingly added 7 Euros which is more than 25% the price of the whole order. This is a clear scam.

There are a few restaurants serving Afghan cuisine on the street. However, I have to say that this one is by far the best. The atmosphere is very inviting and very clean. We felt very comfortable and the hosts were really very friendly. On top of that, there were sweets and tea on the house. Lovely again!

The meal is good, quite delicious, and the staple food (rice/french fries) is quite generous. If you have a small appetite, two dishes will be enough for three people.

Had a kebab plate with fries. The quality of the meat was very good - the fries seemed homemade and not just from the metro. I would have liked a few more vegetables as a side dish with a kebab plate. The salad that was served with the dish was very vinegary and a bit sour. The bread was very good. Overall very good kebab - priced a bit demanding in my opinion with c. 14 euros. The service was very nice.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is also super cozy. The lighting and overall ambiance created a relaxed space to enjoy my meal. And as for hygiene; everything was spick and span. Waiting time for a burger was 30 minutes even though there was no customer there, even customers who came after me already got their food. Then the burger came and the buns were completely cold, sent away again and waited 5 minutes.. It didn't taste good, the patties were very hard. Price for burger and fries 12€, so far ok but wanted double cheeseburger, price for extra patty !8€!, look at the size :) Never again

Restaurant looks clean but it is not hygienic. I got diarrhea after eating at a restaurant. The toilets are a disaster and the doors are always open. The food is too expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. The tall waiter with a beard who collects money from guests is like a thief. Regardless of whether you have to pay €7 or €8, you won't get any change back after you hand them the banknote. In my case I was charged 2 times more than I had to pay, so I will never visit the restaurant again.

The store is really stylishly decorated and seemed very clean. What struck me positively was that even the dishes had the logo on them - that really left an impression on me. We were there on Whitsunday - the store was well attended but not overcrowded. The staff were very friendly, but seemed a bit disorganized at times...The portions were sufficient, although I have experienced more choice on a grilled plate in a Turkish restaurant...Meat was very tasty, but unfortunately some of it was a bit charred... Of course there was also tea on the house. I would say prices are also in the upper segment... A big plus for the fact that the sauces for the kebab plate are served in separate bowls!!!

Einfach perfekt ! Das Essen, die Wartezeit, die Qualität, die Atmosphäre. Wer ein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis haben will, ist hier genau richtig. Probieren lohnt sich ! Vor allem die Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. 5 Sterne dafür.

Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, der Service aufmerksam. Die Portionen sind großzügig, die Präsentation ansprechend. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Wahl für kulinarischen Genuss. Empfehle ich auf jeden Fall jedem weiter.

Waren schon einige mal hier mit der Familie und es ist jedesmal lohnenswert. Super leckeres und frisches Essen. Der Service ist 1A mit super freundlichen Mitarbeitern die jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Ich hab mich spontan mit meiner Familie dazu entschieden das Restaurant zu besuchen und ich kann es jedem weiterempfehlen! Das Essen war sehr lecker und hat uns geschmeckt. Zudem waren die Mitarbeiter sehr gastfreundlich und hielten ständig ausschau nach den Wünschen der Kunden. Ich werde Watan kabab definitiv nochmal besuchen.

Falafel Döner ist langweilig und schmeckt nach wenig. Das Highlight ist da noch das knusprige Brot

Ich habe Mantu sowie Kabuli geessen, es war sehr köstlich. Gute Afghanische Küche sowie Türkische Speisen in einem Restaurant.

Der Döner hat 8,50€ gekostet und war maximal Durchschnitt. Es hat nach fast nichts geschmeckt, das Fleisch auch nicht besonders. Ich würde hier nicht wieder hingehen.

Waren vor 8 Monaten hier. Wurden leider ein wenig enttäuscht… wahrscheinlich wurde der Besitzer gewechselt. Essen und Personal waren schlechter als vorher.

Ehrlich : der beste Dönerteller den ich bisher gegessen habe. Sehr zu loben ist v.A. der Reis, sowohl der Türkische als auch der Afghanische. Auch die Saucen schmecken fein, insgesamt sehr gutes Zusammenspiel von allen Komponenten. Einzige Kritik von meiner Seite wäre das Brot als Beilage (nicht wirklich frisch und schon etwas hart) und die Menge des Reis zum Fleisch (zu wenig, gerne mehr). Insgesamt bin ich aber sehr begeistert und kann das Lokal jedem weiterempfehlen.

The kabob plates came loaded with Afghani rice, a side salad and freshly made Afghani bread. The meat was juicy and tender with just the right amount of seasoning. Green tea was amazing.

We were there as a group of 8-10 people and were served effiently but friendly. After mixed starters we had a hige grilled platter that was placed across the whole table for everybody to grab whatever variety of meats and side-dishes they want. Great experience for curious foodies and turkish tourists alike.
