So I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews there Did you force people to do this? I was there with my brother and we drove an extra 300km to get something to eat there. That's all well and good, no matter whether the food came later or what we wanted wasn't there at first, The food comes and everything was already cold😨 My brother had to go to the hospital straight away. These stores must be checked by the public order office.

Maybe the best known afghani restaurant in all of Frankfurt by the choice of Afghans. The service is outstanding and the food is beyond. It's like mama's home made food in Frankfurt. The owner is called Frankfurt chef but to my expectations he is more a funny guy than a real chef. Whoever is the chef may be a or a great chef but not the owner. I loved the company of friends around the restaurant it self.

Unfortunately very disappointing Ambiance: It was a bit too warm and there was an unpleasant smell of sweat in the air. It was also very loud, which of course cannot be blamed on the staff. Food: Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The rice in particular was an insult to the otherwise excellent Afghan cuisine: it was not sufficiently washed and smelled strongly of dust. It's a bad shop, I went there with my family, everything we wanted wasn't there or the machine was broken. Then we ordered the ice cream and half an hour later it still wasn't there and then we ordered rice and... that came faster than the ice cream and the ice cream arrived almost 2 hours after we ordered it

Qabili polaw was only 8€. I think everyone should try this. However, other food was not up to the mark. Service was good and the restaurant was spacious.

We had the grill mix platter for 2 people. It was extremely tasty and exceeded my expectations, very tasty and very fair prices for the quality, especially the food doesn't feel heavy in the stomach afterwards. I can highly recommend this restaurant, the service was also very good and you were always looked after. The cellars tried very hard to ensure that everything was satisfied. Actually not even worth a star, we waited for desert for an hour and our food didn't even arrive in time. Everyone felt like they had to eat it alone because by the time the others arrived, the previous ones had already finished eating. Staff completely unplanned and disorganized and the food was average. I would definitely not recommend it!!!

I couldn't even try the food because the staff was so disrespectful. I realized that when white Germans eat there, they get better service than Afghanis.

I went with my friend and we ordered two matoos, a kabuli palaw and a mix grill. The palaw was disastrous and inedible, the meat from the mix grill was half burnt black and half raw. Only the mantoo was fine. There was a lack of hygiene and cleanliness; the tables were dirty and the salt and pepper shakers were also dirty. There was no air conditioning and it was hot like a sauna inside. And it was extremely expensive. Not recommendable.

Very tasty food and inexpensive too. The lamb was super tender and juicy. The store was well stocked, which didn't affect the service. A mixture of restaurant and snack bar. A bit busy. But it's 100% worth it for the food.

I walk into the restaurant and a waiter sits down right in front of me and has Ariana Restaurant written in capital letters on his T-shirt! Looks at me stupidly, no hello, no greeting... I passed her and looked for a free table. I waited 10 minutes until I asked a waiter to clear the table for me... Then I sat for another 10 minutes and waited for a waiter…. Atmosphere just as little, super loud and confusing! I don't recommend it to anyone! After a good 20 minutes I got up again and went out. I hope at some point my dear compatriots will learn how a restaurant runs properly and what service means. I didn't eat there either and wouldn't like to give it a star, but there is no choice other than 1 star.

The food and service were 5 stars for me. The staff was very patient even when we didn't speak the same language and tried to explain the menu for us. We tried the rice plate with veal (a huge piece of meat hidden under a mountain of rice). Both the rice and the meat were so tender and flavorful. Their chillies sauce was packed with spicy and refreshing flavors that go really well with our rice dish. I will come back here again soon...

No one cares about you there, drinks really late and food came BURNED. Instead of giving proper food, they flipped the steak so we do not notice the burned side.

My go to place for some Afghani food. Although it is a bit crowded and noisy, the food tastes very good and has very high value for money. Better to have a Kabuli Biriyani here than a Döner that costs almost the same.

Hi, I was there for dinner with my colleagues. We ordered some food but after 4 minutes we want to exchange one dish for another but the waiter was very unprofessional and rude. The waiter said your order is blocked. We can't change it now. But we said it had only been 3 to 4 minutes and we had just ordered it. Why can't we just change one dish? After that we talked to another person and then to the third but they didn't listen to us, they were all unfriendly people. But then we stopped talking and just waited for dinner. We ate the food except for the other dish that we didn't want. The food was ok (lukewarm), but except for the other chicken karahi, we didn't eat the chicken karahi. This was our fourth experience here at this restaurant, but each time we had a bad experience with the staff. We just want to say to the boss: If someone wants to change their order, please listen to them because it's not a big deal or a big problem, but you have to show respect to your customers.

The grilled meat was very hard, even though I mentioned it at the same time, but unfortunately I didn't see any reaction and I think the Qabuli was left overnight. We ordered Mantu and Kobida Kabab. The portions are really too small. As soon as we served them, we knew that they were far too small, so we ordered an extra portion for each of us. Unfortunately, we are just as disappointed with the taste as we are with the portion size. I would recommend that they make some changes. I really wish them much success and success. I am really very knowledgeable in culinary terms and am also at home in Indo-Asian cuisine. There were 10 of us and we ordered a lot of things and shared them with each other. Everything but absolutely EVERYTHING was excellent! Chapli kebabs were buttery soft and super hearty, the pelau was perfectly balanced and the lamb was so tender that it fell off the bone. Even the red beans, simply a culinary delight and I don't even want to start talking about the Maultaschen and the lamb karahi!!! Even the fresh Ayran with mint was great and the homemade ice cream was perfectly balanced. You notice: I haven't eaten something so tasty for a long time. I'm not a fan of grilled plates either but it was tender and well seasoned! The only sad thing was that there was no more chai. I don't know how much everything cost, though, since we were invited. But on the menu the prices were solid. Top Top Top!!!

I'm not from Ffm. But as a native Afghan, it's really difficult to get such good Afghan specialties in Germany. The store here tastes really brutal and is very close to the food you are used to at home. ;)

I tried Afgani cuisine for the first time and was blown away by the rich flavors. My friend and I bumped into this place on our stroll in Frankfurt. As soon as we entered, we were enticed by the delicious rich aroma of the food inside the restaurant. We enjoyed Shinwari and Qabuli Pulao a lot, especially the Shinwari. The meat was marinated very well and the burst of flavors upon the first bite was simply amazing. The portion size was perfect for two. The Qabuli Pulao was decent as well. I didn't quite enjoy it as much as Shinwari. I felt that the meat didn't have enough marination although the rice was flavorful. The portion sizes are big and worth the money. The service was slow but it was a public holiday and the restaurant was packed. But to round up, I would recommend this place in Frankfurt for a heavy lunch and relish your Afghani food experience.

The service and food is brilliant, the people who go there know especially the national cuisine of Afghanistan, but one point I noticed was that they have ( Dandaky ډنډکی ) on menus when it's perfect , I appreciate them and I would like to give the stove an award and also go to the service. I discovered Afghan food for the first time here last summer, and I've been hooked ever since. I used to swear by Persian food, but this restaurant completely changed my mind! Their Qabuli Palau, Mantu, and Sheer Yakh taste absolutely heavenly. I've tried Afghan restaurants in various countries since then, but this place still stands out for its top-notch quality.

It was a restaurant I ate at frequently last year, but I will never go there again in the future. We came here with several friends this time. The waiter who ordered was very unprofessional and got several dishes wrong. We ordered a large portion of beef bone pilaf in advance and after waiting for forty minutes, he told us that there was no meat? ? ? The beef hoof soup didn't feel too fresh, and there were various oil stains on the plates for sharing the meals. It might be to accommodate more diners. The seating arrangement was very dense and the dining environment was worrying. In the end, we all went home with varying degrees of stomach discomfort. I even had diarrhea for a whole day and wondered if I had food poisoning...

Unfortunately I have to give my Afghan restaurant a bad rating. No taste, no quality. We went to Frankfurt specifically to visit an Afghan restaurant but we were disappointed. Price is not a problem but you have to enjoy something. First and last time for me.

Great place for well treated meat dishes like kebab, lamb chops, skewers etc. Afghanu Bread is also excellent, and eggplant dish is amazing. Highly recommended.

We had the Afghan Qabili this time and last time molong palav with mixgrill these are most recommended and prices are not bad and quality of food was good.

An excellent restaurant in Frankfurt that serves Afghan specialties. The dishes are extremely delicious and the value for money is unbeatable. You don't pay more for a 'Qabuli-Palau' than you do for a kebab, what else do you expect. Despite inflation, I couldn't see an increase in price or a decrease in quality. Therefore absolutely recommended! 👍 Criticism: The restaurant is often very busy, which leads to a certain overcrowding at certain times. Personally, this doesn't bother me, but I would appreciate it if management placed more emphasis on cleanliness in such situations. Nevertheless, I still like to stop by. PS: However, this might be less suitable for guests who normally visit 5-star restaurants.

I don't know why most people are mad, but the food is supposed to be oily and being a Pakistani, the food we get is just simply AMAZING. i always order twice or thrice sometimes just because i can't get enough of its taste. I get extra takeout at least worth 2 to 3 days.. i travel from Bonn just to have the food... I've worked in a restaurant and i know how things get when it's over crowded, it's really hard to manage everything.. the owner is a sweetheart and keeps an eye on everything.. everything is more than good/average..it's simply GREAT for me and my family at least 🥰

Found this gem by chance. I was going somewhere else when the taxi driver suggested I try this place. Very authentic food and you can tell that just by looking at the clientele. The food was delicious and spicy. The portions are large so order less than you think.

The Afgan kabuli polau was great in taste. We took the xtra large one for five people.

Meine Erfahrung war leider sehr enttäuschend. Ich hab Lamm und Chicken Karahi bestellt und habe geschmackloses gekochtes Fleisch bekommen. Das Essen war kaum gewürzt. Über die Hygiene möchte ich garnicht erst reden. Das gegrillte Fleisch hat wenigstens noch geschmeckt aber war auch nichts besonderes.

Das einzige was lecker war , war die cola. Personal unfreundlich und unprofessional .

Leckeres und preisgünstiges Essen. Service schnell aber ein bisschen chaotisch. Atmosphäre - typisch für Nahost, man soll keine Ruhe erwarten.

Dass Essen ist geschmackvoll und die Preise sind fair . Es ist ziemlich laut aber es gehört auch ziemlich zu einem orientalischen Restaurant nur die Sauberkeit den Toiletten sollte doch ofter bei so einer großen Menschenmasse die dort essen kontrolliert werden .
