Mutton / goat dum Biryani and egg Biryani is mediocre in taste. The rasmalai was not worth buying another time. It’s was like a sugar shock. Out of all, Gulabjamun was very good in shape- like perfect spheres with high sugar content.

We ordered other Lieferando two portions of rice and they confirmed the order at 21:06. The App showed 50 minutes delivery (we live 15 minutes away!!). At 22:15 there was still nothing, so I called them. The guy on line had me waiting for minutes, then confirmed that it only takes 50 minutes, and said "sorry" and then hung up the phone! Other restaurants in this case offer at least a complimentary dessert. At Ruchi you get to starve and they hang up to your face. That's not the service you expect, for the paid delivery, 15€ per portion. That's how the food arrived! All over the bag..

Best authentic Hyderabad biryani in Europe

Tasty food and generous portions at a reasonable price! Many Indian restaurants in Germany are notorious to charge as much or more and yet serve relatively small quantities of meat and veggies, but here it's absolutely worth it. Ambience is not the best, but the food makes up for it. Weekends can get crowded, so need to make sure you come at a suitable time and not with too many people.

First of all no hospitality.. On top of that, the waiting time was too much even though the restaurant had empty seats.. Secondly, there was a cockroach.. and the toilets maintenance sucks.. Worst part is biryani was over-hyped and it didn’t taste good at all.. we also ordered chicken mughlai and the chicken was not fully cooked.. Gobi Manchurian was also really tangy.. Basically, I never give this bad of ratings.. please check my ratings for other restaurants.. I am super pissed- that made me write this review.. we also complained about the service and food to the staff/owner but they didn’t really care about the feedback..

Authentic excellent Hyderabadi food. We had both vegetarian biryani as well as chicken biryani.

Ruchi offers great food with authentic biryani options that truly stand out. The service was good, and while the ambiance was just okay, the overall dining experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

It's the taste of authentic south India. Chicken biryani and chicken fried rice are my go to food. The best part is it tastes very good every time and never was the taste changed. Prawn starters are top notch for the price. It's a best place to go for cheap yet very tasty food. The atmosphere can be improved however, as the space is too small and yet crowded sometimes. Else rest all is fine

I ordered chilli veg today, the staff was very friendly, the taste was unbelievably delicious 10/10 I would definitely do it again!

If you are fan of taste of the food and not fancy, then perfect place. I ate veg menu like biryani, Manchurian, paneer chilly everything was worth. Price is very affordable. Washroom available.

Great Indian food at reasonable prices! Been there quite a few times - almost all dishes are flavorful (rich in spices) and taste amazing. Chilli Paneer is a standout in my opinion. Portions are great. Prices are less as compared to other restaurants. Ambience and service are not the best though. Conveniently located super close (walkable distance) to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof if you exit from the gate closer to Platform 24.

I ordered food through Lieferando that didn't come for more than 2 hours. The app kept showing it is nearly there. When I called the restaurant they said they have a driver problem and told me to cancel the order. Pathetic.

Stood there for 10 mins. No soul came to offer a table. Decided to leave. The locality is very shady and unsafe.

Basically a take out snack bar with some tables to dine in. It is worth since here you get authentic south indian Hyderabad cuisine, absolutely delicious whenever you come. That makes it the best indian restaurant in town. Need a suggestion? Order Chicken 65 with Lachha Paratha. Makes you sweat, but you will dream of it.

The food was extremely spicy so you couldn't taste the taste. I grew up with Indian food but this extreme spiciness is simply not possible. We had stomach pains the very next day.

It's a normal restaurant, with less facilities but they have great and best food. It taste good.

I’ve ordered food here for about 4-5 times now. Every time I write in the comments less spicy or none at all and I always get the opposite..fine no problem. BUT this time I found this wire/plastic in my aloo paratha! This is something I did not expect in a German regulated environment, the FDA should really check this out. I hope no kid or child eats this.

I ordered a burger. The price-performance was good. The burger itself was also tasty, but nothing special in terms of taste. He wasn't bad, but he wasn't super good either. It didn't take long before he was finished. The staff was friendly too. I ate there and it was freezing cold, like I had eaten outside.

Rather simply furnished Indian who values ​​authentic food instead of expensive furnishings! Mostly visited exclusively by “Indian” people. The best Hyderabadi dum biryani you could get in Frankfurt. The food is really delicious and the people are open and nice. Visited so many times. Surely recommended if you wanna eat authentic biryani

I went to this restaurant last week, had really high recommendation and expectations, waited an hour, which is completely fine, if the place serves fine food. I had ordered chicken dum biriyani. The food was mediocre. The service was good, can be better. Quality of food 4.5/5 My verdict: Ruchi could be the best restaurant in Frankfurt representing Indian food if they made their food more passionately, considering that they use quality ingredients. Thank you.

Superb food, only issue is with the dining area, they are the only restaurants in Frankfort who make real Indian food for indians. Not German Indian food

Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani or goat dum biryani very good taste

Food is okay. I liked the tandoori chicken and samosas. I really liked the fact that whole grain all purpose flour was used for the bread and samosa covering. Being a Hyderabadi, biryani was disappointing and no it is not close to being a Hyderabadi dum biryani though the meat was properly cooked and tender, the rest of the dish was just disappointing. I have to say the desserts, Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai were superb! Gulab Jamun was hot and very delicious. I also liked the mango lassi. The ambience is pretty mediocre. It needs a lot improvement.

I believe this is one of the few restaurants in the region that still prepares food in the traditional style. Their Naan, Biryani, and other dishes are truly authentic. The only issue is that the spice level tends to be very high and place to eat is just average. Lastly, their hospitality is truly great.

I visited this restaurant for first time and it was better than my expectations. Pros: 1) Very Polite and Friendly Staff 2) Chicken Biryani was good. I felt it a bit less spicy, but nothing worth complaining. 3) Very reasonably priced. 4) Tandoori Chicken was amazing. The quantity was less, but the taste made up for it 😋 5) Moong ka Halwa was amazing. By the looks, it was a bit on the lighter side but the taste was authentic. Perfect 👌🏻. I'd recommend Tandoori Chicken and Moong ka Halwa. 6) They accept card payment. 🙂 Cons: 1) Ambience is okayish... 2) Quantities were a bit less for the items I ordered. 3) Mango lassi was bad. It wasn't Authentic lassi you'll drink in India. But overall, this place is worth visiting.

As a ‘Hyderabadi’ myself, you’re going to get the most authentic Biryani there ever is in Europe here. The chefs are from Hyderabad and Guntur and know how to spice up the dish according to your ‘Indian’ buds. The place looks deceiving at first but after your first bite you’re convinced you’re at the right place. Definitely a visit and even more 😉

Biriyani was too much spicy, full of chilli powder. The behavior of stuffs are also not good. I don't recommend it to others. The worst Indian restaurant that I ever visited in Europe. They are creating bad impression of Indian food.

Very spicy mutton Biryani with red chilli powder. It was impossible to eat. I took two spoon and then realise the burns in mouth and headache. They charge full money and did not offer other food.

From a culinary perspective, a very authentic Indian dining experience. The lunch buffet is excellent from a price-performance perspective. In my opinion, Dum Chicken Biryani is the signature fish of the restaurant. The atmosphere is rather rustic, so the focus here is more on the food.

Had the best food in Germany on the last day of our vacation. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to have authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. Met the chef Cheeranjeevi and Rajashekar who were really friendly and served us the best food out of our 15 days in Europe.

Biriyanis on weekends are good. I have eaten here several times. Thinking it would be nice on Weekdays as well I ordered Lamm Biriyani via Lieferando. This is definitely not Dum biriyani. The onions they fried - were burnt and became black in colour. The whole biriyani had a burnt smell. How careless they are to customers. How long it takes to fry a new batch of onions. They completely ignored it and continued to cook with the burnt onions. I have to remove them one by one while eating. This is how they handle the food we eat, this is the respect they give for the food and the customers. Some basic respect for the business they do would ve been appreciated... Second point was - there were clearly 2 types of meat in the biriyani.. one type of Lamm was more like a steak, they just added some pieces of this in the biriyani made it like a fried rice and sell it as a dum biriyani. there is no ethical consideration for the food, for the business for the customers.. Really Nice place for Indian food in Frankfurt. The restaurant food is super authentic and the biryanis are really really good. Lassi is as if it has been imported from India. Mango lassi especially. The Samosas are not that good honestly. Do not taste like home. But the rest of the food is really good. The vibe of the restaurant is also super Indian with old songs playing on the TV in the background. Highly recommend.

Hyderabadi dum biriyani is good. Of course, it's made to cater to the German taste palette. If you want more masala in your biriyani, go for the chicken tikka biriyani.

I am not a great fan of their Biryani because it is spicy. But you can try their curries and rotis. Also their Haleem which you get during special occasion tastes good.

This is the worst store. The worst restaurant in Frankfurt. I kept waiting and my order and food never came. Maybe it's because they're understaffed or because they're prioritizing orders from Uber or something, but 20 minutes after I entered the restaurant, a staff member came to my table and ordered, and then I waited 50 minutes for my food to arrive. On the way, the customers at each table went to check with the staff, but there was no explanation and they just kept waiting. If you don't want to waste your time while traveling, I think it's better not to go.

I tried their biriyani and chicken Samosa. If they say, it's 'spicy', then listen to them because it is. Biriyani is great there, I tried goat biriyani, chicken dum biriyani and chicken tikka biriyani. I loved chicken tikka biriyani the most. Chicken samosa was average with great mint chatni. Overall it was a great experience with food, the lighting and music there needs serious attention. They were playing trash bollywood mash up, which basically made the experience painful. Otherwise it's great for your pocket. Tschüss!

Veg Dum biryani was ok and my friends praised a lot about Chicken dum biryani and i think this place is quite famous for that only. I loved their Naan and Paneer kadhai and would for sure eat these things again here.

We ordered catering service from this place and it’s the worse , I have been down with diahrrea after having vegetable dum biryani and not just me there are few others from the same party who fell sick after having food from here. God knows what kinda quality they have in the kitchen. I would suggest not going here. One of the worst experience I had in an Indian restaurant in Germany.

Chicken tikka masala was too creamy and less spicy than usual chicken tikka masala. Overall, the food was too salty and the chicken tikka biryani tasted sweet and overpowering with spice!

It was overall a very bad experience as far as food is concerned. I had veg biryani at 12 pm and still it was not fresh, was probably heated in a microwave. Okay we understand that your food may be left over from previous day but aren't you supposed to serve fresh and warm food, esp. when customers come because of the reputation of your food?

We ordered 2 biryanis. My husband ordered the less spicy chicken biryani and me- a spicy dum subz biryani. While the biryani was cooked in the traditional Hyderabadi style (unlike many restaurant that serve veggie stir-fried rice as biryani), something was still missing. Maybe it was the spice level, the Salan or just the special ingredient to take it to the next level. After having heard so much about this place, the food and the ambience just seemed like a letdown.

Best place to test your luck. There is no guarantee that you’ll be tasting the same Biryani everyday. But most of the times the chef manages to do a great job. If you are lucky enough you’ll be tasting one of the finest chicken biryani available in Germany.

Die Inneneinrichtung läßt jeden Wunsch offen, echt runtergekommen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Essen lecker. Nächstes Mal hole ich das Essen ab, weil ich darauf nicht verzichten möchte. 😉

Hello all, I'm from Germany and I've been dining in this restaurant for a couple of days, I tried many indian restaurant in france and Germany but, this is the best Indian restaurant I could find. I tried chicken starters, dum biryani and paneer starters, I say this is the only place I'd found that taste almost like india. I think they have the best dum biryani in the city and make sure you try their dum chicken biryani, the owners and staff seem pretty polite.

The food is amazing and the service is great. However it will be too crowded in the busy times and it takes a lot of time to get your order.
