Taste of India in Frankfurt am Main

I've been eating there weekly since 2013. Super tasty, fresh juices pomegranate, carrot, orange... Fair price. Buffet option. Super warm manager Niki and staff. Most of the guests are regulars, they know each other and feel welcome and at home. Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken recommended. Pizza has also been available for ordering online for two weeks now. The pizza is great, the dough is like in Italy.

I randomly discovered this place while out on a stroll and the prices and smell caught me offguard. The restaurant didn`t look promising but I gave it a try, as the food was. The prices are way 2 fair and their All you can Eat Menu is priceless. I don`t understand the critics, I have been here 5 times in a short time. They make everything fresh daily, their naan was incredible, the mangolassi is fresh. They gave me little things to try and you can tell they are very caring. (Good food!!) I have an incredibly sensitive stomach, the food is healthy and good. You shouldn`t overeat on the all you can eat Menu, and the spices with all these vegetables can be dense. But this food is delicious and nutritious, would let my kids eat here aswell.

Anyone who loves Berger Strasse in Frankfurt a.M. will also find their way to this small, friendly Indian place near Bethmann Park. There is a good "all you can eat" buffet for less than €10, and the chai latte is free with every dish. I chose chicken with a mild sauce and basmati rice, as a starter a dumpling filled with vegetables and salad for €1.50. All very tasty.

Unfortunately the naan was very dry...

Rarely experienced such subterranean service. We ordered directly from the restaurant on the website on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Since we didn't receive an order confirmation, we called again to get it just to be on the safe side. We were told the meal would take about 40 minutes. After an hour we called again because there was no food yet. It said that the food was currently on its way to us and would be delivered in less than 5 minutes. After there was still no food at 7:45 p.m., we called again and were turned away. After that, no one picked up anymore. At 8:30 p.m., 2.5 hours after ordering, the delivery person rang the doorbell with the food, which we returned. We are still waiting for our refund to this day and will never order from Taste of India again.

This restaurant sent me a completely different food. I ordered dal makhni & two naans. Instead of that they sent me a super oily chana (mixture of chana & yellow dal) & Roti. I’m an Indian so I know the difference between a dal makhni & chana, also the difference between roti & naan. Horrible👎

Really a great shop! Not super fancy or anything, but just right after a long day. Owner is super nice and the food is authentic and very tasty. The prices are great! I don't know of any shop that can keep up with the performance.

War vor knapp einem Monat hier. Es war sehr lecker und zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Einziges was nicht so war war der im Buffet angebotene Nachtisch, war aber nicht weiter schlimm da ich ausreichend leckeres Essen am Buffet vorher hatte. Da die lokation am Buffet schon ziemlich eng ist lasst euch Zeit wenn schon andere Leute dort sind, wird sonst ein wneig eng. Kann ich gut weiterempfehlen!

Muy buena comida. El menú buffet es muy rico, aunque tiene poca variedad (solo 6 platos disponibles). La otra opción es pedir a la carta. Y es muy económico. Lo recomiendo!

Wir waren hier mit dem veganen Stammtisch Frankfurt. Es gab ein vielfältiges und leckeres warmes All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet für spottbillige 10 Euro, das wir draußen auf der Berger Straße genossen. Es handelt sich mehr um einen Imbiss als um ein Restaurant. Aber die Küche ist sehr gut.

Le terme de buffet est exagéré, offre qlq plat indien, a manger de préférence dehors sur des tables directement dans la rue. Pour le prix c'est 9.99 pour une personne, le choix n'est pas important 6 a 7 plats au choix. Attention propreté qui m'a paru un peu délaissé.

Very tasty authentic Indian food! Its more like a takeaway or fast food place, but if dine-in, outdoor seats are more recommended. The buffet is really great price performance, although they seem not refill the food, because we see the next guests didn’t get chickpeas and chicken as we took them. Nice people nice food! Will go there again.

Das Taste of India ist ein hervorragendes indisches Restaurant, das ich sehr empfehlen kann. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und die Atmosphäre ist entspannend. Das Essen ist einfach unglaublich lecker und authentisch. Die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, die alle frisch zubereitet werden. Ich persönlich liebe ihre curries - besonders der Chicken Curry die beide unglaublich cremig und voller Geschmack sind. Auch die vegetarischen Gerichte sind sehr lecker und einfallsreich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Die Preise sind auch sehr vernünftig, besonders wenn man bedenkt, wie hochwertig das Essen und der Service sind. Insgesamt ist das Taste of India ein großartiger Ort, um eine leckere indische Mahlzeit zu genießen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Einer der wenigen wirklich authentischen Läden auf der Berger Straße. Schmackhaft und preiswert. Wir gehen jede Woche hin. Dazu sind der Besitzer und die Mitarbeiter auch noch sehr höflich. Dazu kommt, dass 5 der 6 Gerichte die für das Buffet zur Auswahl stehen immer vegetarische oder sogar vegan sind.

Not bad, I tried this place because it had some good reviews. I had the lamb curry & naan. It was good, but I had better. Customer service is good, and there are several food options to choose from.

Ich gehe seit vielen Jahren fast wöchentlich dorthin zum Buffet-Essen. Die Speisen sind immer frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und großzügig. Die Preise sind absolut fair. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Dieses Restaurant ist von außen recht unschaubar, hat aber super leckeres Essen und einen sehr herzlichen und tollen Service! Meine Freundin und ich haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten einen tollen Abend hier! :)

Wir haben über Lieferando bei Taste Of India bestellt, aber leider kam nur die Hälfte der Bestellung an. Auf Nachfrage, ob der Rest geliefert werden könne wies man uns ab und sagte uns, dass man keine Fahrer habe. Also Geld umsonst ausgegeben. Mein Mango Lassi wurde in einer alten Plastik-Pfandflasche geliefert - will gar nicht wissen, wer da vorher draus getrunken hat. Essen war lecker, habe aber auch schon besseres gegessen. Also alles in allem: ich werde dort nicht mehr bestellen.

Ordered from Taste of India and the delivery service was fast, friendly and tasting the food I ordered was absolutely delicious. 10/10 I will definitely recommend. I would very much order from them again in the future. Thank you to everyone to make these flavors amazingly delightful.

Die Speisekarte hat eine sehr gute Auswahl und die Gerichte sind geschmacklich sehr gut. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente könnte noch etwas gemütlicher sein, der Wintergarten ist etwas Kühl und hellhörig. Was das Essen betrifft aber eine klare Empfehlung.

Tolles Essen einfach Klasse , Sehr gutes und leckeres Essen. Als Getränk würde ich Mango Lassie empfehlen schmeckt sehr gut :)

Wir sind oft hier essen und es ist immer lecker! Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und lustig drauf, das Buffet ist vielfältig. Auswahl an Fleisch- und vegetarischen Gerichten ist super. Kein Restaurant im klassischen Sinne aber einen Besuch wert!
