Restaurant Indian Zaika Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main

We tried the Indian restaurant Zaika and unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. We had ordered the chicken malai, vegetarian pakora and a gulab jamun. Unfortunately the delivery time was very long, which was a bit annoying. The chicken malai was also extremely dry and almost inedible - a real shame. The pakora tasted okay, but was also quite dry, which spoiled the eating experience. A bright spot was the Gulab Jamun, which impressed us with its taste. Overall, we expected more. There is certainly room for improvement, particularly when it comes to the freshness and consistency of the dishes.

It is nice restaurant for outing with friends and family. They have really good space and also open space for kids to have fun. Close to Rödelheim and enough parking is available. Food was ok and could have been better.

I always like to order here. To be honest, this was the first Indian take away meal I ever tasted. I no longer live in the delivery area, but I drive 20 minutes to pick up my food when the craving for Indian food hits me. Delivery takes a little longer but if you're prepared for that, that's completely ok. Very nice people.

Good home cooked authentic food!

Zaika is yet another example of a place that demands steep prices without being refined in terms of service and attention to detail. The food is good but expensive compared to other restaurants of similar cuisine. The service was really bad. - We didn’t get menus. Upon asking 2 menus for 4 people. Then another 1 after a while. - Drinks came after 25mins - Food came after 1h The place wasn’t even full. By the time the food came, I was already certain that I wouldn’t come back to Zaika. Long way to go in terms of service. You simply cannot sit a client down for an hour and not serve anything. See how the competition is doing it. Attentive service, quick, and a little snack to shorten the waiting time. Overall a merely mediocre experience. The food was good but couldn’t make up for the overall impression.

Horror. We ordered. Delivery time supposedly 45 minutes. After about an hour we asked. The driver is already on the way. After two hours I asked again, quite incomprehensible. “Brother, next time we’ll get two beers for free.” What??? And the driver still needs 8 minutes. Now it's half an hour later and there's no food. The order was refused to cancel. Top.

Authentic taste.. very wonderful ambience. Wonderful surroundings and Garten. Lot of parking space.

Refers to food delivery, 4 dishes were ordered. Vegetables were frozen, overall there were too many finished products and hardly any home cooking. Naan unfortunately not the best at all, too greasy and reheated. The curries and sauces were too sweet and didn't taste authentic.

Authentic Indian food restaurant run by a Punjabi family. The lady was friendly and sweet. I ordered the vegetarian Thali which was really yummy. Others ordered the non veg Thali, chicken tikka masala which were all amazing. The pakodas were a tad bit oily. Rest of the food was delicious. Will definitely recommend this place . They also have a party space which can be booked for private parties.

Been ordering from Zaika since the last 4 years. ‘Jewel of India’ leaving the scene meant, the quest for a good Indian restaurant in Frankfurt stopped at Zaika. This was my first dine in experience and I absolutely loved it. They were very friendly and the food tasted absolutely good. If you are getting there on foot, please take the car route shown in google maps. We tried Naan + Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh and Mango Lassi. The portions were generous. It seemed like a great outing place of the natives. The owner & the service staff were polite and friendly. Would highly recommend them.

Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Meine Erfahrung war sehr gut. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das Restaurant ist ein altes Vereinsheim und vielleicht nicht jedermanns sache. Das essen war sehr lecker und preislich super! Wir kommen gerne nächstes Mal wieder.

With time and visiting again to Zaika so many times, it has become one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Frankfurt. The quality and taste of food is amazing. It has authentic Indian taste. You can find the owner himself preparing dishes in the kitchen, and I believe this brings the quality. It has an indoor seating as well as outside in the terrace. It also has a hall which could be rented out for private functions, in such case, one can also order for buffet lunch or dinner as per own wish. The restaurant also takes order for individual or bulk deliveries. The price doesn't burns a hole in the pocket at all. There is plenty of parking available there. The stop for public transport is bit far (appx. 1 km), but worth walking.

Most delicious Indian food we ever had in Frankfurt.. taste is truly amazing. Place is nice big open.

Der Laden ist zwischen Gaerten und dadurch nicht allzu leicht zu finden. Habe keine Servietten, Besteck etc bekommen. Mitarbeiter waren zwar nicht unhöflich, unfreundlich aber das Gegenteil waren sie auch nicht unbedingt. Kommen wir zum eigentlichen; Die Preise sind sehr fair, die Portionen auch gut, Geschmacklich waren die Hühnchen super, die Sossen lecker aber nicht die besten. Ein weiterer Besuch/ Versuch könnte man machen.

Best damn naan in the city, friendly owners, authentic flavor. Absolute gem especially for a summer afternoon with your family. Indoor and outdoor seating. Many vegetarian options. Been regularly eating here for over a year, by far my favorite Indian restaurant in Roedelheim. For the best experience with naan, always eat it fresh at the restaurant. I’m a vegetarian so I can not speak for the quality of the meat dishes. I see some other reviews are not happy with the service but I’ve never had bad service. This is a family restaurant so don’t expect something fancy- however they are very accommodating.
