Royal Tandoori in Mainz

Excellent and authentic food. The lamb curry and biryani rice are a solid 10/10. The main courses are richly spiced, creating a true explosion of flavor! Afterwards, we enjoyed an authentic Afghan spiced tea with milk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not recommended at all. You call an hour beforehand to place an order, and when you arrive, they say, "I'm sorry, I was talking to other guests. He forgot to take my order."

It seems to be out of business. It appears to be Khan Tandoori now. Online ordering was still possible through their website, but when I tried to pick up the order in person, there was nothing to collect. No order had arrived or anything like that. A very strange experience.

The curries, pakoras, and chicken tikka masala are very good. I like to get food there.

Completely wrong order was sent, and later no one answered the phone. A complete disaster. I advise everyone not to eat or order there.

The wait was incredibly long, even though we were the only customers. So much for "10-15 minutes"... in the end it was more than 30 minutes for two simple Indian dishes.

I can't agree with the positive reviews. I waited almost an hour for my food. The gnocchi and pizza bread were cold because the delivery driver didn't know where to go. I ordered a small pizza bread, but received a large one. I ordered spaghetti and got gnocchi. Maybe they just need to be a bit more audible on the phone.

Brote und Samosa sind sehr lecker und immer frisch. Auch die Kebabs schmecken sehr. Es gibt allerlei Leckereien auf die Hand. Es lohnt sich also immer einen Abstecher dort hin zu machen, wenn man in Bahnhofsnähe ist. Prima, dass nach der langen Umbauphase endlich wieder geöffnet ist. Nach dem Umbau wirkt das "Royal Tandoori" viel freundlicher. Freue mich, wenn Essen auch bald geliefert werden kann, dann werde ich auch alle anderen verschiedenen Gerichte probieren und meine Bewertung aktualisieren.
