Royal Tandoori in Mainz

Very good and authentic food. The lamb curry and biryani rice are a solid 10/10. The main courses are richly spiced and a veritable explosion of flavor! Afterwards, we drank an authentic Afghan spiced tea with milk. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I can't recommend it. You call an hour in advance to place your order, and when you get there, they say, "I'm sorry I was talking to the guests. He forgot to take my order."

It doesn't seem to exist anymore. It now appears to be Khan Tandoori. I was still able to order online through their website, but when I tried to pick it up in person, there was nothing to pick up. The order didn't arrive, or anything like that. A very strange experience.

Curry, pakoras and chicken tikka masala are very good. I'd love to get food there.

Completely wrong order was sent, and later no one answered the phone. A complete disaster. I advise everyone not to eat or order there.

Long waiting time even though we were the only customers. No matter "10-15 minutes"... in the end it was more than 30 for two simple Indian dishes.

Can't share the positive reviews. Waited almost an hour for my food. Gnocchi and pizza bread were cold because the delivery person didn't know where to go. I ordered a small pizza bread and a large one was delivered to me. Ordered spaghetti, got gnocchi. Maybe just hear a little better on the phone

Brote und Samosa sind sehr lecker und immer frisch. Auch die Kebabs schmecken sehr. Es gibt allerlei Leckereien auf die Hand. Es lohnt sich also immer einen Abstecher dort hin zu machen, wenn man in Bahnhofsnähe ist. Prima, dass nach der langen Umbauphase endlich wieder geöffnet ist. Nach dem Umbau wirkt das "Royal Tandoori" viel freundlicher. Freue mich, wenn Essen auch bald geliefert werden kann, dann werde ich auch alle anderen verschiedenen Gerichte probieren und meine Bewertung aktualisieren.
