Rossini II in Berlin

This was my first time here and I was very surprised by how big the restaurant is. There's plenty of space both inside and outside. I really liked the little play area, which keeps even the littlest ones entertained. The service is excellent and the food selection is fantastic.

Very rude and arrogant staff. Once and never again. Luckily, there are some very nice restaurants nearby.

We had dinner last evening for my birthday and it was the first time there. I saw good reviews on Google and that's what made me choose it. I have to say that I was not disappointed, everyone was very happy with the delicious meals (we had pasta and lasagne), the service ( they were attentive and in a good mood), the atmosphere and the price was very reasonable too. All in all, very recommendable. We will definitely go back when we come to Berlin.

Stopped here between two appointments for some Italian food. The dish was freshly prepared, very hot, and well-seasoned. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance inside and outside exuded a touch of Italian flair.

We came here for dinner. The food was good, but the atmosphere was nothing special. If you like Italian food, this is definitely the right place.

The good rating is a mystery to me. To start with, olives, bread, and a cream, but unfortunately, there were no plates or knives to go with it. So the table was covered in crumbs, and the knives were smeared on the tablecloth, and how I would have loved to have dipped a little bread in olive oil. Then came three buscettas for six people, even without additional plates, so there were also tomato stains. In the buscetta itself, the bread wasn't toasted, and the topping consisted only of tomatoes and onions. No oil, no basil, or other herbs. So it wasn't buscetta, but tomato bread. The schnitzels with chanterelle mushrooms weren't flattened, and the breading wasn't crispy. Strictly speaking, it wasn't a schnitzel, but breaded veal. I had veal liver with sage butter; whether capers belong in this lovely dish is debatable. But if the sauce contains neither sage, butter, nor capers, but a cream sauce is served, there's no need for discussion. Both dishes and one other were left under the heat bridge for far too long, so that the sauces had already formed a thin skin. The next two dishes arrived five minutes late. The pizza Parma with cherry tomatoes was ordered with spicy salami. The cherry tomatoes were tomato wedges, thrown onto the pizza along with the salami before serving. Where was the lovely sweetness of a warmed cherry tomato or the light roasted aroma of the salami? Conclusion: It wasn't particularly bad in terms of taste, but good gastronomy is something different. So, the first visit will also be the last. P.S. Don't you see how rancid your service point looks, I mean, where the cash register is?

The service was very unfriendly. The antipasti at Rossini III are excellent – here you can get half the price for the same price. The pizzas arrived cold, the salmon on the pizza had the skin on, and instead of cherry tomatoes, there was a regular tomato cut into four slices. Absolutely not recommended – but Rossini III is all the more so. My first and last visit here.

Super friendly service and fantastic food. But the seasoning was completely lacking. That's why it didn't get 5 stars.

Very friendly and good wines not too expensive

Since I come from the catering industry myself and have seen and tried many restaurants in Germany and around the world, I can only say that this was the one that absolutely disappointed me the most. I ordered black tagliatelle with a lobster white wine sauce with shrimp and salmon. The flavor was simply utterly nonsensical. Neither seasoned nor anything. It tasted of anything! Tasteless, which is a shame. Even salting didn't help. Once again, the potatoes we served with it were too salty for my daughter. The price is simply not justified for this meal, as much as I'm sorry. The service tried to appear friendly, but you could tell that you weren't really welcome if you expressed your honest opinion. I wouldn't go back and unfortunately, I can't recommend it either. The sauce was also watery, and the shrimp weren't quite cooked through.

Little food for a very high price. None of the courtesy. Little or no attention is paid to guests' requests. I do not recommend a visit.

Fake reviews? This was by far the worst Italian restaurant we have ever been to. Ordering drinks and food took forever. We ordered bruschetta as a starter, and what arrived was just sad. There was hardly any topping on the bread and what was on it was 70% onions; you had to search for tomatoes. The highlight was when I found a dead fly. When I asked about it, the waiter took the plate without a word and disappeared. 15 minutes later, a "new" plate of bruschetta arrived that looked just as sad. No apology or word of regret was offered by any of the waiters. The main courses were also pretty mediocre. Two people ordered the same pizza and received two completely different looking pizzas "one had been in there longer". Spaghetti carbonara was anything but original carbonara. My pasta contained 50% sun-dried tomatoes. Reordering drinks was only possible if you went in yourself. Service was bad, food catastrophic. You still charged for bruschetta. There isn't a single good thing you could say... Give this Italian restaurant a wide berth! Even if you're sitting on a main road, cars are constantly speeding past.

I often go there with customers. Fast service but sometimes unfocused. No-frills atmosphere.

For many years it was always above average here. Today was different. Maybe the chef changed?

We had to wait half an hour for the starter and then another half hour for the main course. So for those without a starter it was an hour wait. Meanwhile there was totally over-salted bread. The main courses were also either super salty or peppery. I found the service to be rather inattentive. I thought the restaurant itself was very nice and had a great atmosphere, but personally I wouldn't go there again after my dinner.

We were here for lunch about a week ago. Food and service were okay, nothing impressed us.

Lunch on Friday: friendly service! Start with a bread basket with green and black olives, a light cream? and spice mixture. That was really good. The main course food and drinks were good average. We had 2 pizzas, a bag of tea and a very good espresso on the house at the end.

It was our first time there and we were thrilled to come back soon. It was such a beautiful day, the food was great and delicious, the service was all nice, friendly and funny, it was an experience for the four of us.

The most beautiful woman in the world and I ended up in this “Italian restaurant” by chance. Being of Italian origin, I immediately noticed that it was one of those places run by Balkan staff who pretended to be Italian even though they weren't. As soon as I opened the menu, I noticed the countless spelling mistakes that are typical of such places: “Buffala” with two Fs, “Vitelo” with only one L and “Fungi” without an H… and many more. I asked the operator if he could give me a pen and a piece of paper to write down any errors and show him that it would be easy to create an error-free menu these days with web search or artificial intelligence. His response was that it was completely unnecessary as the mistakes were made intentionally. According to his logic, the mistakes make customers feel invited to try the kitchen, since it is not a public authority but a restaurant. I explained that as an Italian who has lived in Germany for 12 years, I work on my German every day and that any Italian would tear their hair out if they made so many mistakes. Let's get to food. I don't even want to start talking about "spaghetti Bolognese", which doesn't exist in Italy, carbonara with cream and ham and pizza with pineapple. I ordered a focaccia with gorgonzola, which was really good, while the most beautiful woman in the world got a plate of penne al pesto - with so much garlic that it sent Lucifer, Satan and Nosferatu fleeing at once. Unfortunately inedible. If you're going to say you're Italian, please leave out Toto Cutugno, Eros Ramazzotti, Umberto Tozzi, Al Bano and Gianna Nannini at full volume. Nobody in Italy has wanted to hear this music for decades. Music in a restaurant is unnecessary, silence would be more pleasant.

Great experience. Food great. Staff very nice. Small parking lot at the back of the restaurant. Unfortunately, a meal was forgotten. But it took everything and more to make up for it! Thanks.

We were there for the first time because there are 3 of these shops in our area. The atmosphere was very pleasant but a lot could have been done towards the bathroom. The food tasted averagely good, but I had the feeling that they saved on a lot of ingredients, be it alcohol or toppings.

It's better to reserve seats before 7.30 p.m. We did it. The restaurant was full. Nice, good service, relatively quick. Atmosphere was pleasant.

Were rather disappointed. The restaurant cannot do anything about its location on a main road. But that's exactly where we had to sit because there was a small playground set up for children (great idea, poorly implemented). Unfortunately we were completely ignored by the staff and had to wait forever for service. The food wasn't great either. Having just returned from Switzerland, where there is really good Italian cuisine, I unfortunately have to realize that many Italian restaurants in Germany simply don't value quality. Unfortunately, the Rossini is no exception. Hello Rossini, just take a euro more for the dishes and score points with originality and quality. The pasta (sad consistency) and the pizza (hardly any toppings) that we had are much better at home and I'm not Italian.

Last night I had pizza here with my girlfriend and her father. I raved about how good the pizza "was" the last time I ate here with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, we were immediately bitterly disappointed, the waiter looked at us strangely and condescendingly whether we wanted to eat inside or outside (maximum 5-6 guests in the restaurant), but outside would be better. If there were a dress code, which I can't imagine with the best will in the world, the way the other guests were dressed, and we're not talking about upscale gastronomy here, but even if it were then it should be mentioned that the clothes weren't required for that, I would have complete understanding. Then it continued shortly after the order was placed, all the tables outside except ours were covered (tablecloth, ashtray, etc.), which gave us the impression even more that it is not usual to eat out here at this time of day - well, that's all . As already mentioned, the pizza was good here, unfortunately I can only confirm what previous reviews among other regulars have written - the pizza and the other dishes were worth their price, now the pizza is not really warm, nor is the dough completely baked and there is hardly any difference to a cheap delivered pizza. In terms of taste, it's a shame! I agree with previous reviews, the kitchen needs to make more effort! My conclusion: I think it's a shame what has become of the great food and the friendly staff.

Delicious Italian...excellent service

Disappointing!!! We were in the restaurant as a group on Thursdays at 6 p.m. - after 15 minutes of waiting, a waiter finally came and took our drink order, which was served after another 15 minutes - the seats in the restaurant were a third full - pizza and pasta dishes were ok, - the liver was soft and mushy, the pork medallions were a bit tough - the vegetables were probably just taken out of the freezer packaging and served straight away - so a disappointing evening

I couldn't recommend it more, we had one announced Spent a celebration there, we knew from the past that it was a good restaurant, unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired, the portions were too small, the service was catastrophic, the waiter made a very unkempt impression. Sometimes our guests had to go to the counter themselves to order their drinks. The whole evening was actually quite catastrophic. We had had a rehearsal dinner beforehand and were very disappointed about the whole thing because we had recommended this restaurant to our guests beforehand. Very unfortunate

Food was ok but doesn't need to be repeated

Today we once again feel the need to express high praise, thank you. Hard-working, bright-eyed waiters (bring blankets to outdoor guests without being asked) who are humorous themselves and understand humor. The food - without words...! We had, among other things, lamb and veal liver - happy to get the full star rating for that. We will be back!

Arrived without reservation at 4pm Saturday. A waiter said we had to be out again at 6 p.m. because they would be full then. At 6 p.m. the restaurant was only 1/3 full inside, everything outside was free. Poor service, no service concept. I would have liked to order more if a waiter had come over, but that's no different at Rossini 3 either. We left the restaurant at 7 p.m. They then said we could stay, there were still tables available

Treffen mit Freunden,ohne Reservierung um 16 Uhr. Man meinte gleich,um 18 Uhr müssten wir fertig sein,weil das Restaurant ausgebucht wäre. Um 18 Uhr waren nur 1/3 der Plätze besetzt. Kein Servicegedanke. Wir hätten gerne noch mehr getrunken. Fürs bezahlen mussten wir uns mehrfach bemerkbar machen. Man scheint froh zu sein,wenn keiner kommt

Rarely have we been received so unfriendly. Staff don't ask if everything is okay. When the glasses are empty, you are not asked if you would like to drink anything else. You have to actively try to get attention from the service staff. When it comes to payment, the staff is suddenly very nice. I wanted to pay appropriately because the service was really subpar. The waiter obviously misunderstood and kept the change. He didn't deserve it. But I didn't want to discuss it because in the end he was suddenly a ray of sunshine. The food was okay, but not so tasty that I would come back again.

We had reserved a table for 7 people for Mother's Day. No attention paid to the guests. Restaurant card was picked up from the neighboring table after 20 minutes! Long wait for drinks. Wrong beer brought. Beer not filled to standard!!! Bruschetta very small and not particularly well presented. Several main courses cold!!! Be it potatoes, spinach or salmon with sauce. Other foods are similar. Gave everything back!!! We paid for the drinks and left. This visit to Rossini 2 was pure disappointment for me. We'll never appear there again.

Food didn't taste good at all! The steak tasted like it had been thawed! The color of the meat was also very pale! My schnitzel with asparagus felt like it didn't taste like anything and to make matters worse I had a bad stomach upset in the evening! One of the waiters was also very unfriendly!

Had lasagna. I'm used to better things from Italians. It was more of a pasta dish with Bolognese. The veal liver was delicious

We reserved a table today for my son's youth consecration...We were 5 adults, 1 teenager and a toddler...We haven't eaten as well as we did today in a long time...Everything was freshly prepared...The cocktails were very good delicious and the ice cream was heavenly... The prices are great and nothing overpriced at all... They always try to provide wonderful service and you don't have to wait long for the food. Plus the restaurant is totally child-friendly... Thank you so much for being there You were there and made our day with your service...We'd love to come back.

So the reception was very nice. Got a table straight away without ordering. Ordering from a clean menu was good too. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special. Sauce very thin... The bruschetta is unfortunately covered with very irregularly cut bread, very thin slices and thick... Pizza unfortunately not that crispy but nothing special either. Further orders were not possible because the service stopped coming after he had brought the food. So overall, if you're hungry and want a snack ambience, it's okay.

Good food and customer service is different. We went out to eat today and were looking forward to a good Italian meal. The staff is also nice and friendly once you see them. The restaurant wasn't even half full, and the waiters were just walking around the front area; no one came to us. This is not a service. The food continued to be bad. We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Everyone around us got theirs, except us. And asking a waiter where the food was was also difficult since no one ever came by. I had the Rossini salad. It can best be described as bad and for €18.90 it's a complete disgrace. Mix a few lettuce leaves together, throw in half an onion, prawns that are completely dry and don't look like prawns, and a few strips of fish that have seen better days... and you have a salad that justifies the price of €18.90 should?! The rest of the food wasn't any better, except for the pizza, which was good. The tiramisu for dessert was tasty, at least somewhat. All in all it was just catastrophic service and the food was also more bad than good. After today's experience, I wouldn't describe it as a good Italian!

Die Mitarbeiter sind Klasse! Sehr zuvorkommend, charmant und freundlich! Das Essen hat uns leider nicht überzeugt: Die "Bandnudeln in Spinatsoße mit einem Hauch Knoblauch", waren am Ende Bandnudeln mit Knoblauchsoße ohne Spinat. Die Nudeln schwammen im Öl und die dazugehörige Dorade vom Grill war mehr als totgebraten, daher leider zäh, trocken und nicht genießbar. Alles andere (der Gruß aus der Küche; das Bruschetta; die Getränke) war gut. Vielleicht haben wir nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Aufgrund des Personals würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Rucola auf der Pizza, die alles andere als frisch war, war gelb und ungenießbar. Salat auf dem Vorspeisenteller hatte braune Ränder. Hatte mich eigentlich auf alles gefreut...

Freundliche Bedienung, gute Auswahl an Gerichten auch saisonal.

Wer schwarz verbranntes Putenfilet gern isst,der sollte hin gehen. Die Möhrensuppe war auch nicht schmackhaft. Beim bezahlen muß man auch Bargeld mitbringen,da die Zeit auch in diesem Punkt dort vorbeigegangen ist. Und der Hinweis über den Lago konnten sie in der Werbung auch vergessen,da selbst die Fische dieses Restaurant gemieden haben.

Ein guter Italiener. Essen ist gut, nur der eine Kellner ist etwas verplant wenn viel zu tun ist. Essen bestellt, ein anderes Gericht bekommen. Hab ich auch gegessen, weil ich Lasagne mag. Essen aber top . Würde jeder Zeit nochmal da essen. Qualität und Preis, in Ordnung. Und das nächste Mal bekomme ich auch das richtige Gericht.😉

Ausgezeichneter Service, Ambiente stilecht und gemütlich. Speisen und Getränke sind preiswert. Ein Besuch lohnt sich und man fühlt sich sehr aufgehoben. Der Amaretto ist vorzüglich!

So eine leckere Calzone hatte ich lange nicht!!! Dazu ein Glas Rotwein, perfekt. Im Tiramisu war nach meinem Geschmack zu viel Sahne, statt Mascarpone. Man sitzt gut und der Service war freundlich und flott. Preisleistung passt.

Essen wie immer gut, da kann man bei Rossini nichts falsch machen. Ein bisschen gestört hat mich, dass bei einem Nudelgericht mit Aubergine nur wenige Ministückchen Aubergine zu finden waren. Geschmeckt hat es trotzdem, das ist immer so, aber eben nicht wie erwartet. In einem fast leeren Restaurant, Tische zuzuweisen muss vielleicht nicht sein, freie Auswahl wäre netter gewesen. Aber wie gesagt, bei Rossini essen ist immer eine gute Idee. Das Essen kommt angemessen schnell, Mitarbeiter freundlich, aufmerksam.

Toller Italiener direkt am U Elsterwerdaer Platz in Berlin Biesdorf. Parkplätze sind auf dem Hof vorhanden oder man nutzt den wenige Meter entfernten P+R Parkplatz. Tolles Personal, leckeres Essen, was will man mehr?

Dass essen schmeckt dort lecker und die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. nettes italienisches Restaurant 👌 Wir können es auf jedenfall empfehlen 👍

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Hatten da vor etlichen Jahren Weihnachtsfeier mit Kollegen. Mit Kerzenlicht war es eine angenehme Atmosphäre . Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Essen war auch lecker.

Erfüllt bei uns alles, was man von einem guten Italiener erwartet.
