Rossini in Düsseldorf

I made a reservation via Google Maps and it worked really well. The food was really of a very high quality and the wine rounded it all off perfectly, all accompanied by excellent service. The prices are also measured by the top quality, but they are in an absolutely acceptable price-performance ratio. There were two of us, we had a starter, both a main course and both a dessert including a bottle of wine and paid around 200 euros.

Yesterday we were at Rossini for the first time. We liked it very much. We were there early, the food (fine fish platter) was very tasty, along with dillings and vegetables. A glass of wine and, for dessert, chocolate cakes with a liquid center, vanilla ice cream and espresso. My tip!

We were in Düsseldorf last October for work and came across this highly recommended restaurant in the evening. The daily offering currently included an outstandingly prepared Loup de Mer. The service was also great. The price and performance are really right.

We ate there on Valentine's Day and can fully recommend the restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious. We had 2 starters (The beetroot plate with goat cheese & the basil soup). Afterwards the main course was a tuna steak from the daily menu & the risotto with N'Duja. For dessert we had the dessert variation. Everything tasted excellent and was perfectly prepared! The service was excellent. We were given a very friendly welcome and our jackets were taken away from us. When taking orders and serving, Maja knew how to entertain the guests in a very direct but incredibly charming way. The food was delivered at a suitable pace and she was also available at any time for advice. You can only wish for a service person like that! The price of the restaurant is of course upscale, but that absolutely matches the service and the quality of the food. We are completely convinced and had a wonderful evening!

I normally do not write bad reviews, but today was exception. Had a really bad experience on Valentines night. Had this place on my favourites and hence booked this place for Valentines dinner. The service was so bad- the old lad was very rude to us and really spoiled our mood for Valentines. She was very nice to others expect for us. And this kept on happening throughout our dinner there. Spoiled my mood completely. Never going back!

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, gestern Abend im Rossini Restaurant einen Wein trinken zu gehen und es war eine rundum großartige Erfahrung. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir herzlich empfangen und an einen schönen Tisch begleitet. Auch der Service war ausgezeichnet: freundlich, aufmerksam und dennoch unaufdringlich. Unsere Getränke wurden nie leer, und Sonderwünsche wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich, ideal für einen entspannten Abend. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Ich kann das Rossini nur weiterempfehlen und komme definitiv wieder!

An absolute insider tip for fine Italian cuisine in Düsseldorf! From the first to the last minute, our visit to Rossini Fine & Dine was a real pleasure experience. The meals were excellent. The service was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. I can fully recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Visited as part of a Christmas meal with work colleagues. Fast service, lovely staff, and pleasant atmosphere. Mains and dessert both tasted great, particularly the steak. Loved the beverages too. Definitely worth a visit 👍

10 december met z’n vieren gegeten bij Rossini, leuke route vanaf The Wellem. Restaurant ziet er eenvoudig uit maar bediening, wijnkaart en het eten zijn top! Wij hadden diverse voorgerechten en alle 4 pasta met truffel en zeebaars. Aanrader wat ons betreft!

Unsere diesjährige Weihnachtsfeier fand im Rossini statt. Man hatte uns eine sehr schöne separate Ecke reserviert und die Tische sehr schön eingedeckt. Die gemischten Vorspeisenplatten zu Beginn des Essens waren sehr abwechslungsreich und äußerst schmackhaft sowie toll angerichtet. Sowohl die Komposition von Edelfischen als auch die Perlhuhn-Brust zur Hauptspeise waren exzellent zubereitet, sehr schmackhaft und toll präsentiert. Alles kam auf den Punkt gegart zusammen auf den Tisch. Die Nachspeisen-Teller enthielten, toll präsentiert, sämtliche italienischen Klassiker und die Gäste waren restlos begeistert. Unser Gastgeber, Fabio Fusco und sein Team rundet den wunderschönen Abend hervorragend ab und ließen im Service nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Speisen und Getränke ist angemessen, aber nicht überzogen. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

It was my first time at Rossini. The interior is really stylish, which you wouldn't necessarily expect from the outside. Food, wine and service were also very good.

We stopped in for a late dinner after attending the Euro match. We were happy to find something open late on a Monday. The decor was quite elegant and comfortable. We were looking for some simple pasta dishes, but the menu was rather limited, with only 5 choices. First the server gave us the card with the lunch specials, but they were not available for dinner. We found the service a bit slow, as it took awhile to get drinks, and to place our orders. My husband had the risotto with shrimp and zucchini, which was ok. We might have preferred a simple pasta with olive oil and garlic sauce, or tomato basil, or pesto. I had the linguini with cherry tomatoes, arugula, pine nuts and cuttlefish. It lacked seasoning and had no sauce, where I had to add salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil to improve it. The arugula was raw, not really incorporated into the pasta. The bread was good, and we finished it before the pastas were served. The waiter promised to bring more, saying it was in the oven, but he never brought it. Later, when we were finished eating, another group was asking for pasta without meat or fish, and the waiter gladly offered a simple olive oil sauce. I wish we had known this was possible.

The Rossini restaurant is centrally located in Düsseldorf, it is easy to find and it is also easy to get there by subway. If you like Italian food and value a well-kept, beautiful and clean ambience, this is absolutely the right place for you. Well sited on Kaiserstrasse, just a little bit to the north of the Aldstat and near to the Hofgarten. Excellent menu and very good range of wines. Attentive service. Not cheap, so a bit of a treat.

1. The starter (an antipasti plate) corresponded in quality, freshness and presentation to a finished product that can just as easily be purchased at REWE for EUR 6 instead of EUR 22.50. 2. The "deer entrecote" was by no means deer, but only beef - of poor quality - which was also the opinion of my companion. 3. The vegetables didn't go well with the meat and everything was carelessly prepared and served without any sauce or similar homemade creation. 4. When asked about the overall unsatisfactory main course, we were asked: "Have you ever eaten deer?" And instead of offering something to compensate, the plate was picked up a short time later with the words: "You got through it, yes?" 5. The tiramisu was mediocre to bad. 6. At the end an espresso was ordered. Mini biscuits were served with the words ("You are all welcome to choose one.") - At the end the biscuit appeared on the bill. 7. The price was in the area of ​​haute cuisine (EUR 9 for water, EUR 45 for the "deer") and cannot be justified under any circumstances. Given these prices, the quality of the food and service are simply no longer acceptable. 8. Our dissatisfaction was no longer addressed. 9. There was no towel or paper towels in the toilets. You were allowed to dry your hands in your pants. Result: Stay away from this restaurant. It lives solely on the old splendor of the predecessor it took over.

The menu is full of classic Italian dishes and a variety of contemporary delights. I started my meal with Carpaccio di Manzo, thinly sliced ​​raw beef, drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. The beef melted in my mouth and the flavor was incredibly intense. For the main course, I chose Osso Buco alla Milanese, a lamb shank stewed in white wine and tomatoes. This dish was cooked to perfection. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the sauce was rich and flavorful. I had it with Risotto ai Funghi, a mushroom risotto, which was perfectly cooked and had a rich mushroom flavor. To finish the meal, I ordered the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisu. OMG for 130 euros for 2 people you would expect a significantly different service and quality. Coffee takes forever, even though the large restaurant is almost empty. Service brings slices of bread to the start and says that if it tastes old, then she could also bring fresh bread??? My wife orders spaghetti and gets something else. Servive says the kitchen must have misunderstood something, but if it doesn't taste good, then she can talk to the kitchen again??? My Easter lamb tastes good warmed up. Ugh. Every Italian should be able to do this at least twice as well for half the price. The best was the Pinot Grigio Jermen 2021, but you can hardly go wrong with that. Risk of recurrence 0%.

This restaurant seems a bit overrated. The food was reasonably good but compared to other Italian restaurants really not all that special. Nice for a casual dinner during weeknights. Th staff were very friendly and the wine was good.

Es war ein toller Abend, vom Empfang bis zum Ausklang. Die Vorspeise war gut und der Hauptgang ebenfalls eine gute Wahl. Beim Nachtisch hatten wir alle Variationen bestellt die es auf der Karte gab. Beim Tiramisu hätte ich mir noch etwas mehr Fluffigkeit gewünscht so wie ich es bei anderen Italienern ähnlicher Niveau Klasse schon erleben durfte. Die Weinkart und die Auswahl ist super. Tolles Restaurant.

Die angebotenen Gerichte sind überwiegend italienischer Standard und eher simpel, in der Zubereitung aber nicht zu beanstanden. Service könnte aufmerksamer sein. So wurde einem beim bestellten Glas Wein nicht aus der Flasche am Platz eingeschenkt, sondern einfach das Glas hingestellt. Auch wurde es nicht möglich gemacht, ein Pastagericht als kleinere Portion als Vorspeise zu bestellen.

Endlich mal ein guter gehobener Italiener mit einer tollen Weinkarte. Der Süsskartoffelcarpaccio mit Oktupus und das Safranrisotto waren auf höchsten Niveau!

Wir waren zu einer Veranstaltung mit Abendessen ins Rossini eingeladen. Parken im B&B Parkhaus nebenan ist nicht ganz preiswert (2,50€/h), aber dafür sehr zentral. Das Abendessen war köstlich und bestand aus einer variantenreichen Vorspeisenplatte, einem Tortellini-Salbei Zwischengang, dem Hauptgang Rinderbraten mit Pürree und kleiner Gemüsebeilage. Alles super lecker, warm und ausreichend portioniert. Die Speisen wurden alle zeitgleich serviert, trotz einer Gästezahl von über 30 Personen. Überhaupt war der Service super toll. Sehr aufmerksam, schnell und geschick, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Großes Lob dafür. Zu den Preise kann ich keine keine Auskunft geben. Es dürfte aber nicht ganz preiswert gewesen sein. Das Ambiente hat lounge Atmosphäre. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Früher wirkte es hier wie ein „Geldwäsche Laden“, immer leer und seltsame Atmosphäre. Nun ist es super gemütlich und der Service war (obwohl das Restaurant voll war) super zuvorkommend und bemüht. Fisch in Salzkruste einen winzigen Ticken zu roh, ansonsten alle Speisen super
