Nun, Essen war ok, ein wenig zu versaucest, Service schlecht, kein Nachschank des Weines, keine Nachfrage zwischendurch, schade!

Eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt. Man merkt, dass die Inhaber ihre Leidenschaft für Gastronomie und Genuss bis ins kleinste Details im Restaurant einbringen. Wahnsinnig leckere Speisen, wunderschönes Ambiente, sehr, sehr herzlicher Service. Vor allem an besonderen Anlässen sehr zu empfehlen (Valentinstag, Halloween, Weihnachten, Geburtstage…). Durch die komplett durchdachten Konzepte, kann man für ein paar Stunden richtig im Moment ankommen. Die Drinks sind auch immer ein Highlight.

Leckeres Essen, aber ungemütlicher Außenbereich.Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Draußen sitzen macht allerdings wenig Spaß: Die Tische stehen direkt an einer lauten Straße und die Stühle sind sehr unbequem. Für ein gemütliches Essen im Freien leider nicht zu empfehlen – drinnen ist es viel besser.

Wir waren mit meiner Frau vor Ort und tatsächlich hatten wir sehr hohe Erwartungen. Das Essen und der Service waren gut. Es ist leider sehr eng im Restaurant. Zusätzlich fand ich es sehr befremdlich und unpassend, dass eine scheinbar spontan eine Sängerin ins Restaurant kam und 15 Minuten lang das ganze Restaurant vollgequatscht hat, um am Ende dann 2 Minuten zu singen. Ich denke die Leute wollen gerne einen schönen Abend verbringen mit seinen Liebsten. Da finde ich persönlich das ganze Theater eher unpassend.

Vom ersten "Hallo" bis zum "auf Wiedersehen " ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Eine tolle Weinberatung, die Speisekarte macht es einem schwer ,sich für ein Gericht zu entscheiden, weil sich alles lecker liest und die Teller an anderen Tischen einen struggeln lassen ,vielleicht doch das falsche bestellt zu haben. Unsere Gerichte waren aber absolut in Ordnung, müssen wir halt nochmal kommen und andere Leckereien zu probieren. Von uns ganz klar eine Empfehlung 👍 gerne wieder

Sehr schönes Restaurant in Derendorf- gutes Essen, aufmerksamer Service und angenehmes Ambiente. Das Essen ist gut zubereitet und die Küche einsehbar- stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Auf Grund der Größe des Restaurants würde ich eine Reservierung empfehlen.

Ein absolut exzellentes Restaurant. Der Inhaber versteht einfach was wichtig ist. Exzellent ausgewähltes Ambiente passend zur Saison. Die Bedienung ist ein Beispiel dafür wie ein guter Service funktionieren sollte. Das Essen war eine optische wie geschmackliche Augenweide. Man merkte das hier nur mit hochwertigen Zutaten und Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Die Dame hinter der Theke macht einen arroganten Eindruck und nur am Handy, die jüngere Dame im Service ungeschult für die Preise kann man etwas besseren Service erwarten. Für den Preis gibt es bessere Lo kale denke Ich.

Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen und wunderschön angerichtete Gerichte. Das vegetarische Angebot ist zwar nicht riesig, aber ich bin trotzdem absolut fündig geworden und sehr glücklich mit meiner Auswahl. Auch der Wein war hervorragend! Das war wirklich eines der besten Essen, die ich je gegessen habe, und ich habe schon einige der besten Restaurants Italiens besucht. Hut ab, es war fantastisch!

We were turned away even though the restaurant was practically empty. At first, the waiter greeted us and was about to seat us at a table without a reservation, but then the manager called him over. A discussion ensued between her and the waiter, who then returned to us and told us that unfortunately, no table would be available, even though the restaurant was completely empty. The manager didn't even bother to come and see us; she was just sitting behind the bar, watching us. It's a disgrace.

The food was delicious, the service and the owner were all friendly and always up for a chat. It was a great evening, I'd love to come back.

The first Italian restaurant I actually enjoy going to. A far cry from the typical Italian food you get everywhere else. From the service to the food, everything was excellent. The Halloween decorations were especially impressive. Completely themed, even in the restrooms. Amazing!

Ca' Reale is a wonderful addition to the culinary scene in Derendorf. I've been a regular here since it opened. Whether it's an appetizer, main course, or dessert, everything is absolutely delicious, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. They also offer a wide selection of creative cocktails, served with a bit of flair, which is always a delightful experience. Here, the customer is truly king and treated accordingly. Denny, the owner, is incredibly hospitable and ensures that guests feel completely at ease in his restaurant. Ca' Reale is very cozy and stylishly furnished, and even when it's full, it's still easy to have a conversation, making it the perfect place for a relaxing evening with loved ones.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food (the truffle pasta was divine!). The cocktails were a special treat; you should definitely try Aladdin's Lamp! The wine was also great. We had a wonderful evening and will be back on our next visit to Düsseldorf ❤️

Everything is just right here: the price, the cocktails, the ambiance, the food, and, finally, the friendly service. Unterrath insiders might experience a bit of deja vu, due to the fact that both the founder and many of the employees come from the very well-known and by far the best pizzeria in Unterrath, Ca del Re – at least back then. The owner's new concept is a complete success. A small menu with outstanding quality products and ingredients that you can immediately taste. And all at a reasonable price. We had potato truffle cream soup, fresh porcini mushroom tortelloni, two different pinsa (made especially for my children as a magharita), and the parmesan spaghetti. Wonderful! The cocktails are also incredibly creative, unusual, even a little unique, and delicious. We'll be happy to come back. And my children are also very happy because, as they say, "the best pizza maker is here." I can't disagree. Thank you for this lovely evening – we'll be back! :) Update a good year later: We've become regulars here and can still highly recommend it. An absolute must for cocktail fans like us!

We visited Ca'Reale for the first time in October 2025 and were immediately impressed. It's rare that we recommend restaurants without asking – but in the case of Ca'Reale, we actually did so to friends and family. The dishes were outstanding, and the service impeccable!

I celebrated my 60th birthday there with 25 people. The service, the ambiance, and especially the food were the best I've had in a long time. Ca Reale quickly became my favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf. Denny is an excellent host and pays attention to details. Menu changes regularly, so that you can try something new each time. Additionally, the restaurant offers adaptions for intolerances - simply mention it when making your reservation. I can recommend the gluten-free pasta.

The place is great, the service is fantastic, not to mention the food, which is an absolute 10 out of 10. If you want first-class food, you have to come here.

A wonderful evening with delicious food! The owners and all the staff are still relatively young compared to the industry, but that didn't show anywhere. The service was super friendly and very attentive. The meal was an absolute feast, and to top it off, there were delicious, creative cocktails. It's very chicly decorated but still incredibly cozy, especially thanks to the bar that dominates the room. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but you should be aware of that before entering this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

We had our meal today for our son's baptism. The staff was extremely friendly, the service was great, and the food was of excellent quality. The prices were also very fair for what was offered. We were extremely happy and would love to come back.

A culinary convincing evening! The mixed starter alone is worth the advice, pampering and cooking from hosts Dani & Ewa and chef Franco. The variations of the antipasti were surprisingly different and incredibly delicious. As primi piatti we enjoyed homemade ones!!! Pasta (filled tortellino). Where else can you find that? Secondi (tuna) and dessert (tortino) rounded off the menu. The wine recommendation (velvety Syrah) was the perfect companion. What is also noticeable when it is loud: the acoustics in Ca Reale and the atmosphere are very pleasant, as privacy is created with simple elements. The acoustics are pleasantly quiet and dampened thanks to ceiling installations. A cozy, cozy place, a very special restaurant! Forca Dani, Ewa & Franco!!!

It's a chance acquaintance. The restaurant in the hotel is closed on weekends(!). You look for a good Italian restaurant in your local area and have to go by the reviews, which isn't always successful... And then you come to this restaurant and your expectations are exceeded, far exceeded! It's small but nice! Very fine!!! Immediately create a feel-good atmosphere: stylishly furnished, with attention to detail, leaving nothing to chance. And it gets even better: the food really (as described) comes from an excellent kitchen! Freshly prepared and, as with the tagliolini made from a cheese wheel, stylishly presented. Not to mention the taste - just enjoy! How lucky that the hotel restaurant is not open on weekends, we would be poorer for a culinary experience and enrichment! It's just a shame that we're 300 KM away...but we'll be back! Thanks to Denny Tambascia and his team!!!

Last night we “once again” had a fantastic meal at Ca’ Reale. The bruschetta and baby calamari appetizers were outstanding. The main course, the tomahawk steak, was to die for and I recommend everyone to try it. The service was top notch and the lovely Christmas atmosphere made the evening perfect. Many thanks to the entire team!

An absolute dream! And not only is the food great, service offers a living room feeling with an all inclusive package! The place is decorated with so much attention to detail and the cocktails are worthy of an art exhibition of their own. If you are looking for an evening with a special flair, you should visit Ca Reale.

I got the recommendation from a friend whose opinion means something to me. It's nice that there is a place in Düsseldorf where you can enjoy the unspoiled delights of classic Italian gastronomy; without salmon alla panna on one side or overcooked Schischi - Italian on the other side. I've eaten worse in very good restaurants in Italy. The wine selection is loving and the prices are super fair. Everything comes with such self-evident decency that it almost brings tears of joy to your eyes. Since I only write reviews when I think something is particularly good and I consider the negative rating afterwards to be quite disingenuous, I feel it is my inner duty to praise particularly good performance in the hope that this restaurant will continue to exist for a long time.

A nice surprise in Derendorf: A stylishly furnished restaurant where you don't sit on your neighbor's lap and don't have to fight against high noise levels. The ambience is great; pleasant music, dim lighting. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The food is tasty and attractively presented. The visit to the restaurant was completely to our liking. It would only be desirable that the menu would push the boundaries of well-known Italian dishes in the future. The potential is there.

The best place I have been in Düsseldorf I love the food and the beautiful cocktails

We spontaneously called here on Friday afternoon and asked if there was still a table available, were lucky and went straight away. The restaurant is very inviting and we received a friendly welcome. The service was very attentive, friendly and always there. The drinks were really an experience in themselves - I really celebrated the Bubble Porn Star Martini. The food was also absolutely delicious - first I had the three types of bruschetta, which I found all good and varied overall. For the main course I had the spaghetti all amatriciana. Also delicious. The portion sizes are decent, so unfortunately there wasn't enough dessert. The prices are rather high, but the price-performance ratio is definitely right. We had a great time, it was really fun and we would love to come back!

That was the kind of dinner I wanted. Cool atmosphere, great service, delicious food, homemade pasta and they also offer gluten-free pasta if you order in advance. Price/performance fits here. The team is familiar with contamination, so recommended to every celiac.

Haven't eaten here yet, so I can only rate the drinks. My cocktail tasted very good, price/performance and advice recommendation were successful. Ambiance nicely put together. Velvet armchairs, bar seating and easy chairs. Pleasant music, not too loud. Payment options: card and cash possible. According to the owner, the menu changes at regular intervals. We'd love to come back for the food test.

Really nice food and excellent friendly service. Some of the plating was a little gimmicky. If the food is good enough there is no need for such things, it detracts from the overall ambience. And here the food is good. Cocktails are excellent too and it's fine for those to be gimmicky, but not the food! Desserts were also excellent. All around great spot, would come back!

A really great dining experience! The food is really tasty and the price-performance ratio is also good. The appetizer platter is particularly recommended, and the authentic spaghetti carbonara can also do a lot. But what stands out most is the service. The boss and owner takes time for everyone and is always open to advice on food and drink or even feedback! I have never seen such special cocktails and especially glass designs!
