Rosensaal-Gastronomie in Baiersbronn

Wonderful food of very good quality. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten.

Last Saturday, after a bike ride, I had dinner at the Hotel Lamm. I've eaten there several times before and was completely satisfied. I was served very friendly by Ms. Karin Weidenbach. As a vegetarian, I requested the "bacon" in the bacon pancake (€15.50) – but was charged in full without any deductions. For this, I deduct one star. I have now dined at this restaurant several times. The hotel/restaurant has been under new management (interSPA) since May 1, 2025... I deduct another star for the food – I will definitely not be returning.

Ich wohne seit fast drei Jahren in der Nähe und habe dieses Geschäft gestern endlich besucht und werde nicht wiederkommen. Positiv war, dass die Mitarbeiter freundlich waren. Negativ: Es war schmutzig, auf der Tischdecke lagen angetrocknete Essensreste vom Vortag. Ich bestellte einen Wurstsalat, der sehr einfach war und den ich nicht empfehlen würde. Meine Frau bestellte Linsen und Spätzle. Die Linsen waren eher bissfest und ungenießbar. Der Spätzle war definitiv nicht hausgemacht. Er wurde zurückgegeben und meine Frau bestellte einen Rhabarber-Crumble. Dieser war sehr flüssig und nicht braun, es sah aus, als hätten sie vergessen, ihn zu backen. Die Bierauswahl ist sehr begrenzt und das Weizenbier, das ich bestellte, war nicht kalt und wurde schnell warm, sodass ich es nicht aufessen konnte. Ich vermute, sie leben hier vom Touristenverkehr und werden definitiv nicht von Einheimischen besucht.

Amazing food, amazing vibes with cute decor

In our room you could hear the ventilation very loudly which made it difficult to sleep. It seemed as if the ventilation was directly connected to the restaurant kitchen, as it smelled of fried food and grease. We reported twice to the reception, which is in the neighboring house and there is already a short walk. The problem was listened to there, but nothing happened. In addition, there are more or less no storage options in the bathroom. The breakfast you eat at the other hotel is very good.
