We love eating there; the food is excellent, everything fresh and delicious!

We were at the Schöne Sterne restaurant in Hattingen and wanted a quiet meal in the old town. The food was delicious and the location was great. The service was really attentive, but unfortunately not all guests feel the same way when they have to wait about 30 minutes for their food. It's absolutely fresh, and serving 50 people with just three people is difficult. As a thank you, we drank an ouzo with the owner.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab wasn't very good/tasty (for me). It lacked meat, and the bread was just okay. The only thing that stuck with me flavor-wise was the red cabbage. The staff, however, were very friendly.

I found the employee working there very unfriendly. At the beginning of my order, I told her I wanted the sub included in the meal deal. When I went to pay, I noticed that the item that was supposed to be part of the meal deal wasn't there. I pointed this out to her again at the register. The employee then reacted very rudely and told me I hadn't mentioned anything about it. Misunderstandings can happen, but it's the way you say it that counts.
