Summary in advance: Great restaurant, definitely worth a visit! There were three of us and we were lucky to get a table at Roji (Saturday evening). The service was top right from the start and we didn't miss anything. The food was extremely tasty and while you waited you could enjoy the beautiful ambience or watch live in the kitchen how the dishes were prepared. As far as I know, payment is only possible in cash - you should definitely keep that in mind. ---- Summary: Great restaurant, definitely worth a visit! World's best kimchi, excellent sushi and very friendly.

We were there for the first time. The kitchen is open and you can watch the dishes being prepared. Presentation is very nice. It was a spontaneous decision. Gladly again!

We returned many times after our first dinner. Excellent, delicios food, lovely atmospere and waiters, especially Hai, the long hair guy. We highly reccommend this place.

We celebrated our traditional "Happy New Lunar Year" round at Roji this year and it was great. An exceptional presentation of the dishes, delicious food, very fast and friendly service in a special atmosphere.

Just to make it short, the food was not bad, but i had way better japanese food in other places in Berlin.

Looks like a sushi shop in Tokyo!!! Definitely worth the price. But the lunch deal is particularly good: as a lunch special, many things are cheaper, and you get both green tea and miso soup for free 😀 Only the bento box wasn't as diverse as others (besides sushi also something warm, edamame or yakitori) but only consisted of sushi…

OVERHYPED!!! These Roji plates look great, have great decoration, a great effect with the dry ice but the taste and quantity are rather poor. I've experienced this in other sushi restaurants with better prices and higher quality. It's just the Prenzlauer Berg factor, the tourists are happy about it. Another negative thing is when you're sitting at the bottom right of the stairs and it's winter, like right now, every time people come in and then have to have a long discussion with the waiter, a wave of ice-cold air comes in. Not recommended! In addition, everything is so poorly designed that the table presses against your shin and you have no space at all for your legs. Almost like Ryan Air!

My colleagues and I had a truly memorable lunch at Roji. The sushi here was truly exceptional – from the presentation to the flavor, everything was perfectly fresh and well-balanced. The staff were attentive and friendly, yet maintained a level of sophistication that made us feel very comfortable. It was a flawless experience, and I will definitely want to return.

Again in Berlin. Going out to eat in the evening, where this time? Recommendation from a friend, the sushi restaurant Roji, Oderberger Straße, Prenzlauer Berg. Reservations in advance are recommended. The service is very nice, courteous and short waiting times. The selection is varied, the quality of the food is really very good and also beautifully and creatively prepared. The prices are reasonable compared to the performance.

They didn't accept the 10€ neotaste Voucher. Unfriedly guy said that i'm too late and he can't change the receipt...i don't believe him.

Very tasty sushi. We were here as part of a company party. The ambience is what a European would imagine a Japanese sushi restaurant to be like. It's good that you don't have to sit on the floor, that would be too strenuous. It's definitely worth ordering a plate for two or more.

I came across this sushi restaurant by chance while walking through my old neighborhood in Prenzlauer Berg - and what a pleasant surprise it was! As soon as you enter, you'll notice the special atmosphere, which clearly stands out from other sushi restaurants. It is cozy and inviting, just the right place to relax and enjoy. The menu offers a successful mix of classic dishes and creative ideas. The “sushi pizza” in particular is a highlight that surprises with a playful twist and shows that the courage to innovate is being worked here. Of course it would be nice if there were some of the more specialized types of fish found in cities like Düsseldorf, but the quality of the selection on offer is still impressive. The drinks are also a plus - especially the fruity versions. Unlike many Vietnamese-style restaurants, these are pleasantly light and not too sweet because they are mixed with more water. Last but not least, the incredibly friendly and courteous staff make you feel completely comfortable here. All in all, a real insider tip that combines creativity, quality and a great ambience. Deserved 4 out of 5 stars, and I'll definitely come back!

Went there spontaneously with Neotaste and were totally blown away. Not only is the presentation an eye-catcher (also great if you're there with kids), the service people are very nice and it's one of the best sushis my mom and I have ever eaten, there were also unusual creations! So we were very positively surprised.

The quality of the food is really great and the selection is varied and creative. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes your stay even more pleasant. If you want to enjoy sushi of the highest quality, this is the right place for you!

The food was very tasty. We had fried udon and an udon soup, both were very tasty and well prepared! The portions were a good size. With the pasta we had two homemade lemonades which were very intense and delicious. The staff was very polite and accommodating! The ambience was also very nice.
