The food was delicious and one of the waitresses was very friendly. Unfortunately, there was a second waitress who was so unfriendly that it lost a star because of this.

Me and my girlfriend found the restaurant randomly while walking in the area and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was authentic, the music was matching my taste. Service was friendly and quick with the orders. Prices might be a tiny bit higher than other Asian restaurants around but it was worth it. Udon tempura rocks. The only negative might be that one can pay only cash, cards are not accepted.

Unfortunately I wasn't as satisfied as I had hoped. The service staff was very mixed, which isn't bad, but unfortunately very unreliable. We waited 25 minutes for a portion of rice. The menus urgently need to be renewed. Price performance not satisfied. The toilets need to be checked more often.

We sat downstairs in the small booth and it was a very successful evening. The drinks were excellent and since we chose a Roji platter, the show effect was there. But the sushi was also just very, very good, extraordinary quality, special combinations and a wide variety of fish.

I feel like I'm back to the days when I traveled to Japan, it was great, the food was delicious

The best Japanese restaurant in town. The presentation is always a beautiful show that whets the appetite. Just like the Japanese decor. The waiters do a great job and take excellent care of the guests.

We were there to grab a quick bite, the drinks are fantastic. Service was top notch. Sushi is amazing. I am looking forward to try many more dishes here the next time we’re here. The place where we sat down was too dark for me but otherwise the ambience is really nice.

Today I visited the restaurant with a friend. The food was incredibly delicious and the homemade matcha iced tea was just as good. Very friendly staff, I can only recommend them.

The service was top right from the start and we didn't miss anything. The food was extremely tasty and while you waited you could enjoy the beautiful ambience or watch live in the kitchen how the dishes were prepared. OVERHYPED!!! These Roji plates look great, have great decoration, a great effect with the dry ice but the taste and quantity are rather poor. I've experienced this in other sushi restaurants with better prices and higher quality. It's just the Prenzlauer Berg factor, the tourists are happy about it. Another negative thing is when you're sitting at the bottom right of the stairs and it's winter, like right now, every time people come in and then have to have a long discussion with the waiter, a wave of ice-cold air comes in. Not recommended! In addition, everything is so poorly designed that the table presses against your shin and you have no space at all for your legs. Almost like Ryan Air!

Looks like a sushi shop in Tokyo!!! Definitely worth the price. But the lunch deal is particularly good: as a lunch special, many things are cheaper, and you get both green tea and miso soup for free 😀 Only the bento box wasn't as diverse as others (besides sushi also something warm, edamame or yakitori) but only consisted of sushi…

My colleagues and I had a truly memorable lunch at Roji. The sushi here was truly exceptional – from the presentation to the flavor, everything was perfectly fresh and well-balanced. The staff were attentive and friendly, yet maintained a level of sophistication that made us feel very comfortable. It was a flawless experience, and I will definitely want to return.

Again in Berlin. Going out to eat in the evening, where this time? Recommendation from a friend, the sushi restaurant Roji, Oderberger Straße, Prenzlauer Berg. Reservations in advance are recommended. The service is very nice, courteous and short waiting times. The selection is varied, the quality of the food is really very good and also beautifully and creatively prepared. The prices are reasonable compared to the performance.

They didn't accept the 10€ neotaste Voucher. Unfriedly guy said that i'm too late and he can't change the receipt...i don't believe him.

Very tasty sushi. We were here as part of a company party. The ambience is what a European would imagine a Japanese sushi restaurant to be like. It's good that you don't have to sit on the floor, that would be too strenuous. It's definitely worth ordering a plate for two or more.

I came across this sushi restaurant by chance while walking through my old neighborhood in Prenzlauer Berg - and what a pleasant surprise it was! As soon as you enter, you'll notice the special atmosphere, which clearly stands out from other sushi restaurants. It is cozy and inviting, just the right place to relax and enjoy. The menu offers a successful mix of classic dishes and creative ideas. The “sushi pizza” in particular is a highlight that surprises with a playful twist and shows that the courage to innovate is being worked here. Of course it would be nice if there were some of the more specialized types of fish found in cities like Düsseldorf, but the quality of the selection on offer is still impressive. The drinks are also a plus - especially the fruity versions. Unlike many Vietnamese-style restaurants, these are pleasantly light and not too sweet because they are mixed with more water. Last but not least, the incredibly friendly and courteous staff make you feel completely comfortable here. All in all, a real insider tip that combines creativity, quality and a great ambience. Deserved 4 out of 5 stars, and I'll definitely come back!
