Very nice sushi bar…always serve fresh food 🍱

I ordered the food to go. So I can only give a limited rating for the ambiance. It looked cozy. Small place. Nothing extraordinary. Rather practical. Two tables were occupied. I called out my order directly to the chef. Later, the waitress came and paid. Everything was included...the food, of course, the chopsticks, soy sauce, etc.... The food was okay. I had maki with avocado and a California roll with cream cheese. I assumed it would be like I've seen it at other restaurants or when I make it myself. The cream cheese is more of a supporting ingredient in the roll and not completely dominant... I would really recommend less is more here. Hence the one point less. Otherwise, everything was fine. I think the price/performance ratio is reasonable.

Doesn't look like anything from the outside, but what a gem!!! Nice staff, good service, good selection of different types of sushi, really delicious and freshly made, good ingredients and PLENTY of fresh fish in the rolls and nigiri. Big pieces of sushi, for a really good price We were 2 people, and we got 35 pieces to share and 3 beers for 45€, AMAZING!!! We left full and happy, highly recommended!!!

FANTASTIC SUSHI We visited this family-run restaurant twice during a three-day trip to Berlin. Our sushi selection was freshly prepared each time. And you can taste it! FABULOUS! Take some time and enjoy this wonderful culinary delight!

Here, you can get delicious and good sushi at a more than fair price. The family's service is very friendly, and you can tell this is a family-run restaurant. Overall, the only slight drawback is the ambiance, but the delicious sushi makes up for it. The restaurant is definitely better than most of the hyped sushi restaurants, and if you want to eat truly delicious sushi, you should pay Kimiko a visit.

Delicious!!! So, so delicious sushi. For a relatively small price. A surprising amount of fish on the nigiris. Delicious rice. Delicious dumplings. Great wakame salad. California rolls and other rolls to die for. Absolutely outstanding taste. It's a shame that your ability to absorb food is limited. ☺️ We were particularly struck by the warmth of the team. They are attentive and take their time with their guests. They don't make others wait or anything. When you strike up a conversation with them, you can sense their friendliness.

It doesn’t worth to go, sushi’s were low quality, and place smells bad.

The food was really extremely good. A rather inconspicuous restaurant from the outside, with very friendly service and very tasty sushi. Absolute recommendation!

Simple but pleasant atmosphere, relatively inexpensive food for this area. The makis tasted good, as did the Goma Wakame salad. Big minus point, however, we were really looking forward to sashimi... but unfortunately there wasn't much disappointment, neither with tuna nor with salmon.

I came to eat here with my daughter, who is a real sushi lover. The sake menu was delicious and super fresh. Very friendly and hardworking owners, we felt very welcome. There is a pleasant, homely atmosphere. All in all it was so nice that we came back for dinner 2 days later.

The miso soup was basic and good, but the sushi were made with soggy overcooked rice and were literally falling apart upon touching. For a restaurant specializing in sushi this is not a great look. The service was friendly.

Ganz tolles Sushi Restaurant, sehr frischer Fisch sehr schön dick geschnitten, alles sehr lecker. Trotz der Nähe zum Kurfürstendamm keine Touristenfalle. Bedienung sehr freundlich und Essen war keine 15 Minuten nach Bestellung schon da.

The best sushi I've ever tasted! My family and I are from Denmark, we went here in February and it was so amazing we came back the next day. We just went to Berlin again last week and ate here twice. We will make this place a permanent part of our plans for every trip we ever take to Berlin!

At first glance, an attractive sushi restaurant. The card is illustrated and has a selection that does not deviate from the usual. I then had menus 133; Ordered 134, 135 for 2 people. Everything came quickly. What stood out was the above-average size of all the parts. The amount of ingredients in relation to the rice was fine, but there was just too much per portion. The salmon on a nigiri was sometimes almost a centimeter thick. The taste didn't match what I knew at all. Even the avocado maki didn't taste like avocado maki. I can't describe it. But it was the first time that I didn't want to take the (many) leftover sushi pieces home with me. It just wasn't tasty. I won't go there again.

Small, fine shop. A loving host with world-class sushi. We stayed in a hotel nearby and did some research on the internet beforehand. But the really small, cozy shop really convinced us. If we are in Berlin again we would love to come by. Highly recommended.

Amateur chef in kitchen! Sushi rice was soggy, rolls were not holding together and due to soggy rice it felt like baby food . Rolls were huge but that not being a positive thing due to sogginess. There was a small warm in my soy sauce yo start with and the place under fish fridge was filthy dirty. Thank you but no thank you.

Really good sushi! Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh and the sushi rice also had a good taste. 🍱 Big recommendations are the tofu-avocado bag and the lime soda :)

Absolutely do not recommend!! First off the sushi took very long to come out and the quality was extremely poor. The rolls were falling apart (first photo). Meanwhile we had to remind the waitress for the water multiple times (it is 35 degrees today). The quality of the fish in the maki rolls were also very poor, the fish did not taste fresh and was quite warm as if it had been sitting out in the heat for a while. Worst part of all, there was a bug in our roll and the server tried to excuse it as it landing in our food due to us sitting outside and laughed it off. Really disappointing as we had went out of our way to go to this spot specifically for the rave reviews we read here. Do not go here.

Price/performance unbeatable! We happened to be nearby and wanted sushi. Best decision. The quality is top and the portion is really generous. I've never had so much salmon on a nigiri. There is no saving here. The ginger iced tea was super delicious.

The restaurant was fine, but I have had much better and fresher sushi in Berlin for the same prices this restaurant was charging. I wanted their sashimi platter, but strangely, it only consisted of large quantities of tuna and salmon sashimi. I asked if it could be a variety but was told no (even though there was other sashimi available). Very disappointed with the sashimi and nagiri: all of the fish tasted fishy and not fresh. The interior of the restaurant also had no ambiance; it was not an enjoyable dining experience from that aspect either.

Sehr gute Qualität Das Sushi hat eine ordentliche Größe, Nicht wie bei anderen. Wird schnell und frisch zubereitet. Im Restaurant ist es immer sehr angenehm. Man kann sich sein essen, aber auch abholen. Die Bedienung ist super nett und bereitet mit viel Liebe das Sushi zu. Für alle Sushi-Fans und die, die es werden wollen auf jedenfall einen Besuch Wert...

Es ist dort sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist richtig nett. Verbringe dort gerne meine Mittagspause oder wir holen das Sushi dort ab und essen im Büro. Die Qualität des Sushis ist immer einwandfrei und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt auch sehr gut.

The most important think in sushi is rice. We visited restaurant and ordered 3rolls last evening, unfortunatelly rice was overboild without flavour. We were disappointed. Edit: I wrote opinion in Sunday (20.08) visited You in Saturday (19.08) then u writing answer in monday that Saturday u are close… Yes, we been in Your restaurant I have bill (19.08 21:46)… raise the quality!
