We had a wonderful visit to the Rohmühle in Bonn! The service was simply impeccable – courteous, friendly, and always striving to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The chef deserves special mention; he takes excellent care of guests' every need. At my request, he prepared the delicious poultry sausages especially for us, which I greatly appreciated. It's rare to experience such personal and attentive service. Highly recommended – hospitality is a top priority here! 5 stars!

We were there for breakfast. Drinks were delivered promptly, even when the restaurant got a bit busier later on. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The service was very friendly.

Basically a very lively place, the young staff are constantly on the move to accommodate the high number of guests. This makes it uncomfortable at times and as a guest you feel rushed. A tablespoon each of potato salad, cucumber salad and cranberries is served with the Wiener Schnitzel. The price of 29 euros is simply not appropriate.

First the good, thanks for the great service. Nice, fast, just perfect! But what happened to the kitchen? The food arrived after 10 minutes, seemed and looked like it had been quickly put in the microwave. Very disappointing in terms of taste and absolutely disproportionate to the high price. Unfortunately no more gastro tip.

The food was very good. The restaurant was very busy. Nevertheless, the service worked well. The staff was competent and friendly. The view of the Rhine is great. I'm looking forward to the next time. We were there again yesterday and it was really nice again. Very nice service and excellent food. Not recommended on Sunday lunchtime when the weather is nice - totally overcrowded, sat in the back corner despite a reservation and the service was simply overwhelmed by the number of guests. A drink only came after repeated requests, 3 meals came together, the other two only 10 minutes later.

Very pleasant and warm place, a team of waiters at your disposal... A very large room as well as its large terrace facing the Rhine... I highly recommend.

The only advantage is the direct location on the water. I didn't get full and I think it's too expensive. The taste of the food was okay, but not particularly good either. The service staff constantly wanted to convince you of some special offers for champagne, which was very annoying...

We had often stopped by the Rohmühle during a walk. But today we were very positively surprised by a new service. The gentleman (tall, with little hair but a well-groomed beard) was very accommodating and polite. Service like that is worth its weight in gold. Thank you very much, see you next time.

I dined here for Valentine’s Day, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the romantic atmosphere set the perfect mood for the evening. The service was excellent and attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food was simply amazing, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we ordered was a delight, making the evening even more special. Overall, exceeded our expectations with its great food, impeccable service, and charming ambience. We’ll definitely be coming back for another special occasion! Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommended! We had a great evening in the Rohmühle restaurant. The wooden furnishings make the restaurant very cozy and invite you to linger. The large winter garden with a wonderful view of the Rhine is particularly impressive - a real dream in summer when the winter garden is open! The food was extremely tasty and of high quality, you can tell that fresh, high-quality ingredients are used here. The drinks were also excellent and went perfectly with the evening. A small detail that I noticed: the service was sometimes a bit too quick, but that is of course a matter of opinion. All in all, it was a thoroughly successful visit that I can definitely recommend. We'll be back!

Great location on the Rhine. Attentive service. Good wine recommendation. The night visit is planned in summer, then we will sit outside and enjoy the great location.

We were invited to dinner by a dear friend and expected very good things from the meeting. Unfortunately, the vegetarian dishes, vegan bowls and the pasta dish were unseasoned. After the complaint, a replacement was brought immediately. The meat dishes were good, but unfortunately "only" good. It's a shame, the atmosphere deserves better cuisine. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the room are very loud, which spoils the get-together, as conversations have to be carried out at high volume, which in turn disturbs the other guests. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately the toilet is not wheelchair accessible! It's a shame that there is no ground-level toilet for disabled people or people with walking difficulties. Otherwise great location!

We went here for breakfast with friends. We received a very warm welcome, the service was very attentive and friendly. The various dishes were all very delicious. We felt very comfortable in the atmosphere.

So actually great. Food very good. Service and attention was great. Ambience great...BUT, cold. Just cold. It was definitely warmer in the counter area. But at the front under the glass roof on the terrace it was very cold. 12/30 midnight/6:30 p.m. and 0° outside. We'll only come back when it's warmer outside. 👋

Birthday dinner with some people. Price-performance is absolutely underground. I'm willing to spend 30 euros for a schnitzel if the service (it wasn't existent) is right and if you can also recognize the side dishes (small bowls and thimbles would have almost done the trick). Food generally tastes good, if you're lucky enough and it arrives warm (for us 50% cold). If you want to wait 30 minutes for drinks (half of which you forget) and at least 60 minutes for food, then you've come to the right place. Have fun.

Nice top service, delicious food

The Rohmühle is beautifully located on the Rhine. However, reservations are only accepted for indoor use. The quality of the food is good and varied. The price-performance ratio is not cheap, but okay. The portions at lunchtime are sometimes very manageable. The staff is friendly.

We went to the Rohmühle for the first time on December 23rd, 2024 (actually against the advice of a friend) and didn't regret it for a minute! The fact that the restaurant was almost fully booked was a good sign! The four of us were welcomed at the table by an extremely friendly and ambitious waitress who clearly enjoyed her work every second of the entire evening! The food and drinks were excellent (2x appetizer platters for two people, 3x the Wiener Schnitzel and 1x the Muscovy duck)... although they were already in the higher price range, but in the actual sense of the word they were "cheap". In our opinion, the raw mill is fully recommended - despite some reviews to the contrary that we do not understand. We will definitely come back!

Today I went to eat at the Rohmühle am Bonner Bogen for the first time. The food was great as was the very friendly service and the great view of the Siebengebirge and Bonn was a dream. Unfortunately only 4 ⭐️ because there are no parking spaces in front but a parking garage, which is unfortunately expensive… Maybe we'll see each other again soon ☺️.

Background noise is far too loud, poor quality of food for prices that are too high, closes on Sundays at 4 p.m., no comparison to before

Beautiful location with very good food and absolutely reasonable prices. Although it was already quite full, we spontaneously got a table for two people even without a reservation. The operation was usually surprisingly quick and kept an overview despite being busy. We'd love to come back.

I was here for a business lunch and was very positively surprised and happy that there was very good vegan food (Vegan Bowl).

The ambience and location are simply unbeatable. However, you can also see that in the price. This one is also high.

It was a really great evening, we were there for dinner with a large group and had a great evening. The service was extremely good and professional and the food was consistently delicious in a very cozy atmosphere.

The Rohmühle is beautifully located on the Rhine. Now in November you can of course no longer see anything of the Rhine late in the afternoon. Otherwise you have a beautiful view of the Rhine. In summer you can also sit outside; Sitting inside the restaurant is also very nice. Now about the food: food has become more expensive everywhere, but the food at Rohmühle is still a few euros more expensive. For example, a starter platter costs 23.00 euros per person for 2 people or more. The salmon fillet steak 32.00 euros. The ravioli was a little bland, but overall the food tasted really good. Luckily I was invited; to be honest, I wouldn't pay these prices myself.

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. We had a lovely breakfast today and had a great morning. There is a varied selection and no boring standard menu. You can look directly at the Rhine here and if you park in the parking garage you can get a discount on your ticket.

Great service, very attentive staff. The food really exceeded all expectations, very pleasant atmosphere, everything 100 out of 10. Best restaurant in Bonn and the surrounding area, gave me and my family a truly unforgettable evening. I'm not entirely sure how many Mishelin stars the restaurant has but it feels like 2-3.

We once again had a very nice evening in a small group in the Rohmühle. The various main courses came to the table at the same time. Price-performance ratio was right and the experienced, very friendly waitress Pari also gave us perfect advice about the wine.

The restaurant, located directly on the banks of the Rhine and next to the Kameha, has long been part of Bonn's gastronomic scene and is a must-have visit, no matter what time of year. In the warm months, the outdoor terrace invites you to linger with a “cool drink”. Inside you will find a very nice location with enough space. We were there for breakfast on Sunday. Everything was fine, prices are a bit high but still acceptable. Parking is only possible to a limited extent in front of the Rohmühle. There is a parking garage 10 minutes away on foot.

We were there on a Sunday evening and had made a reservation; the restaurant was well attended. We were able to sit in the beautiful winter garden and the seating was very comfortable. We really liked the location and the view from the restaurant. The service was very friendly and the food was really tasty and good. We had a starter, a burger (the meat was very well grilled) and the gnocchi and a very good white wine (Pecorino). That's why we give it 5 stars. Thank you

Great ambiance, lovely waiters and awesome food (the schnitzel is superb). Beautiful view on the Rhine and the Rheinauen. It also helps that there is a playground just besides it and ample parking (if you are prepared to walk about 5 mins).

The food was okay, after that I ordered a cup of coffee with cake, but didn't get it. After waiting 30 minutes, I paid.

I rarely share bad reviews but the food tasted like it had been frozen🤮 and the service was weird. I was especially disappointed for the price. The only nice thing was the view at sunset. I was trying to make a nice impression and this was not the place for it…

Nice bistrot along the Rhine, authentic feeling in an old rehabilitated factory. Good food, German-Italian fusion style. I advise an hidden menu item, the starter plate, super fresh mezze of starters with beet humus, asperges, mushrooms….Good beers and great service. Leider eine katastrophale Erfahrung. Wir waren zu einem Geschäftsessen in der Rohmühle. Zum einen kam ein Essen trotz vorheriger Information über eine Pilzallergie mit Pilzen, eine andere Portion war obwohl als Hauptspeise gelistet derart überschaubar, dass dies nicht mal den Begriff Vorspeise verdient hätte (5 Ravioli!!!). Nach Reklamation der Bestellung mit Pilzen wurde das Essen neu gebracht, diesmal war jedoch das Hühnchen teilweise roh!!! Absolute Katastrophe! Eine Entschuldigung kam nur vom Kellner (der am Wenigsten dafür kann), nicht mal vom Manager oder der Küche! Absolut keine Empfehlung für den Preis!

We have never experienced anything like this and we come from the catering industry ourselves. One of our meals (a vegetarian dish) suddenly had meat in it. A small piece of meat that, after being noticed in the mouth, was “spit out” and placed on the edge of the plate. It took a while until the very nice waitress came back to the table. She said she was also a vegetarian and could absolutely understand why you wouldn't want to continue eating the dish. So far so good. She then apologized and left with the plate. So far so good. We waited a bit to see what would happen next. Nothing happened. We were so stunned and shocked. The waitress didn't come back. We then said we would like to pay and wanted to see if anything else happened. Apart from a repeated apology from the waitress, we were then charged in full. We were at a loss for words. If something like that had happened in our restaurant, the guest would have been asked whether he would like the dish again or whether we should cancel the dish, since a guest would definitely not choose a vegetarian dish that contains meat ( with us) would have to pay. This is an absolute no-go. Even if little things go wrong, the guest is offered something on the house. A coffee or a drink. But as we found out yesterday, service is no longer a priority in other restaurants. Very disappointing. Although the Rohmühle was recommended to us and it was our first time there.

Having enjoyed eating here for years, a review is long overdue. The food is always excellent and the great location right on the Rhine is a real unique selling point. The employees are all very nice, but today we received particularly courteous service from Dominik. He was truly born for the job! It was quite busy due to the good weather, but he remained friendly and in a good mood. This makes you feel like you are in good hands as a guest!

The menu is very difficult to read due to the squiggly writing in the very dimly lit restaurant, so you can't really read what you're ordering in detail. It's a shame, I forgot my flashlight, so I left it with a pasta dish. Tip: Don’t forget your flashlight and magnifying glass.

Family dinner at lunchtime on a Saturday. The booked table was suddenly not available. So we had to sit in a less nice place. The service was very nice and diligent. The price/performance ratio of the food was, to say the least, at the threshold. The portions were very small, although well prepared. We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Not pleasant either. I would not recommend the Rohrmühle.

Nach 2 Jahren waren wir endlich mal wieder in der Rohmühle. Grosses Glück hatten wir mit dem Platz auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Rhein. Das war aber leider alles was an diesem Abend schön war. Das Warten auf die Bedienung zog sich in die Länge. Wir bestellten eine Caesars Salat und Tagliarini mit Pfifferlingen. Das Hähnchenfleisch auf dem (überwiegend) Blattsalat war total trocken aber der Hammer war das Nudelgericht. Die relativ kleine Portion Tagliarini war überschüttet mit einer braunen Bratensoße, die geschmeckt hat wie eine Fertigsoße. Darin schwammen labberige Zwiebeln und Pilzstückchen. Auf dem kleinen Nudelberg lagen 3-4 zerkochte Pfifferlinge. Ich habe das Gericht nur gegessen, weil ich dachte, ich hätte einfach das falsche bestellt... Geschmeckt hat es kein bisschen. Da aber auch meine Begleitung unzufrieden mit dem Salat war, lag es wohl nicht an unserem verwöhnten Gaumen. Das Brot zum Salat kam 10 Minuten nach dem Salat und der Kaffee zum Eis kam als das Eis alle war. Unser Eindruck: die Rohmühle hat ihre guten Zeiten hinter sich. Nur die Preise, die die sind hoch wie eh und je... Für uns war es der letzte Besuch in diesem Restaurant.
