L´Osteria Bonn In der Sürst in Bonn

We had a great service with 49 people, and we were served super quickly and excellently. Thanks to our waiter "Scharon."

The Sharon cellar was a really nice one. Everyone was very satisfied. 🥰

Unfortunately no service came and after 30 minutes of waiting we went to another restaurant 😩

Delicious food but bad service! We ate with a group of 10 people. 2 dishes came 20 minutes later than the rest of the dishes. There was no explanation or apology. But the food was delicious. After the meal, 3 different waiters/waitresses were asked for the bill because we were in a hurry. It took 15 minutes until the bill finally came. Again there was no explanation or apology.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of trying this L'Osteria. While the food was okay, the drinks are, in my opinion, extremely overpriced. I was also a bit irritated because the usher, who greeted guests, arranged tables, and pulled out chairs, also helped out in the open kitchen. But when he started spreading the arugula on the food with his bare hands, I caught my breath a bit, because he hadn't even washed his hands yet and had previously been busy in the restaurant cleaning the furniture and clearing dishes. Fortunately, people came through the door at the exact moment our pizzas came out of the oven, and we personally were spared the incident. But the mere fact that this was openly displayed is somewhat concerning, but it caught not only my attention, but also that of the guests around us. Conclusion: I always enjoy going to L'Osteria, but if I experience someone treating my food like that again, I'll leave the food, pay for my drinks, and leave - I can only recommend it to everyone.

Insect eggs on lettuce - Unhygienic conditions! 0 stars! On Saturday, March 29, 2025, we discovered several insect eggs on a lettuce leaf on our Caesar e Pollo pizza in the Bonn/In der Sürst branch. Instead of reacting professionally and respectfully, we were treated arrogantly by the restaurant manager, and our legitimate complaint was initially not taken seriously and was laughed at by the staff! It is incomprehensible how such unhygienic food can be served and the handling of the incident was absolutely unacceptable. We will report the incident to the health department.

Unfortunately the pizza was cold once and this time it arrived lukewarm. Service OK. Unfortunately the quality of the pizza is not that good. There are better L'osterias.

It was a busy Friday evening, and we got a nice table. The pasta gamberetti was unfortunately quite small and not filling, but Sharon's excellent service made up for it 👍🏼 But please adjust your portion sizes to the prices, otherwise I might as well go to Tuscolo ;)

The waiter was super nice, professional and polite despite a busy Friday night. The food was delicious and prepared quickly, as always. Definitely not my last visit.

Unfortunately, our visit to the branch was a total disappointment. We were there on a Monday lunchtime and waited at the entrance for about five minutes to be seated (even though it was actually very empty). However, no one came to us, so we simply sat down at a table. A little later, a man very rudely asked us to change our seat because it was too big for us and apparently reserved. Initially, this wasn't a problem, since we were completely fine with being seated, but it would have been nice if it happened right away and not after we'd already sat down. Incidentally, the table we were seated at remained unoccupied throughout our stay. We ordered our food and it arrived quickly; the server was very friendly. Unfortunately, there was a black hair baked into the dough of our pizza. After that, we couldn't and didn't want to continue eating it. We pointed this out to the waiter, who apologized and offered to bring us a new one…unfortunately, we lost our appetite. We paid full price for the pizza, even though we returned more than half (around €19), and instead the 0.3 liter of Coke was deducted from the bill. I wish they'd been a bit more accommodating to the customer in such an incident. After all, the order wasn't up to standard, and charging full price for it is a bit out of line in my opinion. It's a shame! We like Lostaria, but the experience here was simply disappointing. The service was nice, but the shift management was unfortunately disastrous.

Very disorganized, waiters overwhelmed, far too few employees for Saturday lunchtime. Staff doesn't even know which pizzas are on the lunch menu. Very long waiting times, pizzas arrived lukewarm. One of us had a pizza that didn't seem quite cooked, but since we had been waiting so long with a child, we just wanted to eat quickly and get out of there. Then in the evening diarrhea and vomiting...never again.

The food is delicious and served quickly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's located in the city center but still close to the main train station. It's very nice outside in the summer, and the view is beautiful. The interior is very spacious but cozy.

The food itself was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible. Were there around 6 p.m. during the week. It took 25 minutes for our order to even be taken. Unfortunately, the carelessness continued throughout the entire evening. It took forever until you could reorder drinks or ask for the bill. I had the feeling that eye contact was explicitly avoided in order to have less work. When paying with an EC card, 10% was the minimum tip you could choose. I work in the service area myself and like to give tips. Even if everything isn't great. Here I would have actually liked the opportunity to give less or nothing at all because the service seemed annoyed and simply didn't care at all.

Not a Losteria fan. In Bonn, however, very centrally spacious and modern. The food is delicious, although the pizza is known to be large, all other dishes are portioned rather stingily, which is a bit of a shame considering the prices. Otherwise everything is okay.

When I was there there was a waiter and he wanted to send me to the second floor on foot even though I had a large suitcase and there were free seats on the ground floor. It's a shame that this pizzaria has such staff.

I've been to many l'osterias because the pizzas are so nice and big, but this l'osteria beats all the others. Not because the food is better here, but because the entire service staff is simply in a good mood and is so nice and accommodating. You get the feeling that people here enjoy working (with each other) :) I was here last Saturday evening where it was very busy. That's why me and my companion had to wait at the bar for a while. However, we were well looked after by a young barman who not only can hold good, bar-friendly conversations but also conjures up very tasty drinks. <3!!! The only drawback: Music could be quieter, the fast and bass-heavy music somehow doesn't fit in with the rest of the decor

Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. We stood at the entrance and waited for a long time until the staff were finished with their private conversations. We weren't greeted either. When serving the drinks, the waitress touched the top of the rim of the glasses, which is also not good. In general, we had the impression that the staff was unfortunately not well trained. The starter came relatively quickly but unfortunately the main courses took quite a long time - almost an hour - especially since the table next to us came after us and got their food much earlier and finished eating before our food even arrived. The food wasn't really warm anymore and the quality had deteriorated extremely. Overall, it wasn't a good visit to Losterria

Today we visited L'Osteria in Bonn, which unfortunately had some disappointments. First of all, the prices: A pizza for €18.50 and an espresso for €2.75 seem overpriced to me, especially compared to other places. I am aware of the general price increase in the catering industry, but this price jump was disproportionate. The atmosphere in the restaurant was far from cozy. It was extremely loud, making conversation difficult. At around 10 p.m. the music was turned up uncomfortably loud, almost as if they were trying to get the guests to leave. Another negative point was the smell from the kitchen, which smelled of fish towards the end of our visit and started at the same time as dessert was served - an appetite suppressant. The service was mixed: The waiters seemed over-motivated and often asked how we were, which seemed more artificial than authentic. However, when we really needed their attention, they were rather inattentive; for example, our drinks were only brought after we asked for our food. Although the food itself was tasty, this does not justify the high prices and the poor ambience. Maybe this restaurant is just not my taste or I'm too old for such concepts, but under these circumstances I can unfortunately no longer recommend L'Osteria Bonn.

Large selection of delicious food

Normally we are used to better standards and this time we unfortunately received smaller, loveless pizzas. We're hoping for something better next time but there are better pizza shops in Bonn...

L'Osteria is usually a good address, but this was the first time in the Bonn city center branch. We were 6 adults and 2 children. Apparently a big challenge. We had to wait forever for food and drinks, and we had to pick up a drink at the counter ourselves. At some point 7 meals arrived and I was asked if anything was missing. Yes. My gnocchi with shrimps. When the others had almost finished their plates, my dish arrived. It was the first time I had seen and eaten dead brown shrimp. However, due to its inedibility, only almost half. The only comment about the late meal was that there were problems in the kitchen. In short, I can only advise against this branch.

Sharon is the best waiter ever. The food was delicious and Sharon deserves a raise for his service.

Went to L'Osteria today, unfortunately it's not like it used to be (3-5 years). Some people are worried about whether their hair is in place, others just watch. Food served is ignored, drinks are ignored, cutlery is sometimes dirty and is practically thrown away. Starter brought after main course. The ROSES are more important than the guests. It's a shame actually.

I usually don’t leave negative comments, but my experience caused me embarrassment in front of my guest. I booked a table at a specific time to avoid waiting and mentioned in the reservation that I wanted it on the second floor near the window. I was shocked upon arrival that no one even checked my reservation or took it into consideration. I waited for a short while, but then I was surprised to be given a dark corner table on the second floor, despite there being other empty tables for two available (Only because the waitress decided that this table was suitable for us). Additionally, people who arrived after us were seated in better spots. On top of that, I waited nearly 35-40 minutes for the food to arrive.
