The pizza is huge and super delicious. You can order half of one flavor and half of another. I highly recommend eating here. I'll definitely be back. 🙌🏼

The food at Losteria was truly delicious and of very good quality. Unfortunately, my visit was marked by one unpleasant experience: I couldn't reach the restroom with my wheelchair because the elevator was broken. No one offered to help me when I asked. This seriously soured my stay, even though the dining experience was otherwise positive.

Last night, we were at L'Osteria Bonn in the Südstadt district with about nine people. Although the place was packed, our server, Sharon, was extremely friendly, attentive, and cheerful. He accommodated all our requests and left a very positive impression. I've visited several other L'Osteria locations, but the service here was particularly outstanding. The only thing I could note is the somewhat loud acoustics—but that's more due to the building than the service. All in all, a great visit. I'd love to come back the next time I'm in Bonn.

I know l'Osteria and have never been disappointed. Until now. First of all, it would have been nice if the menu hadn't been stuck to the table. I ordered tagliatelle from the seasonal menu, and what came was spaghetti. Tagliatelle was out. No one asked me if I wanted a different size or if I should order something else. I gave it a chance. The sauce was raw. Kids, tomato sauce needs to be cooked, not just reheated! I don't want tomato juice on my pasta! The waitress was very friendly and offered me an alternative. The pizza was okay.

I've been to Bonn twice for business and visited this restaurant. Both times, I was completely satisfied: The quality of the food was consistently very high, freshly prepared, and presented with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the attentive yet unobtrusive service; you immediately feel welcome. The ambiance is pleasantly modern without losing its coziness and is suitable for both a business lunch and a relaxed evening. The value for money is also absolutely perfect. In conclusion: A restaurant that I can recommend without reservation. I would be happy to return on my next visit to Bonn!

This was one of the most disgusting pizzas I've ever been served. The dough was completely soggy, half-raw, and immediately crumbled into a greasy mess as soon as you tried to pick it up. Everything was swimming in oil, the pizza was way too big for the plate, and it came completely uncut—good luck eating it like a normal person. The onions were simply thrown on in absurd quantities and not even distributed properly, making the pizza a complete mess. For the price, that's absolutely unacceptable. The only positive thing were the great waitresses, who were friendly and attentive as always. But what's happening in the kitchen is a disaster. I've been a fan of this restaurant for a long time, but after this experience, I'll never go back.

We ate here on a Saturday evening and, despite rush hour, managed to get a table by the window for four. Sharon (our server) was incredibly sweet and very personable. Absolutely not pushy and was very attentive to us customers throughout the evening. He deserves a raise! If you'd had Kölsch, it would have been the perfect evening <3

Very tasty pizza and friendly service. The atmosphere is lively and cozy, a bit louder on weekends, but that's completely normal :) I really like that they have several vegan options and that they also cater to special requests!

Huge pizzas and very tasty! The service was terrible. We had to wait a long time several times for someone to come by. Some employees deliberately didn't look around to see if they could help anyone. The person who brought the drinks wasn't allowed to answer questions or bring the bill, and also refused to get a colleague. Finally, after fifteen minutes, I got up and went to someone myself. I then paid right there, standing in front of another table. The worst part was that we ordered a cola and it arrived without carbonation. We immediately mentioned this, and the response was that the carbonation machine was broken, so they couldn't do anything about it. We weren't offered another drink, but the glasses (which had been brought) were simply put back down. When we went to pay, we mentioned it again, but even then, the only response was "yes, we know." The drinks were also listed at full price, even though we didn't actually receive the drinks we ordered. I'm surprised they serve this, don't tell us beforehand, don't compensate us, and are so nonchalant about it.

The biggest pizza of my life (62 😜), a very cheerful, friendly waitress (Maj), something you unfortunately only rarely encounter these days!!! I can definitely recommend the Losteria in Bonn!!!!

Great place, lovely staff and delicious food every time

The food was okay, even though it took about 35 minutes to arrive and the place was only 10 percent full. The waiter and waitress were a bit friendly at first, but when I tried to pay, they were very annoyed and downright rude.

Delicious food, but unfortunately, the staff were unfriendly. When ordering, it seemed as if they weren't interested in their jobs. The waiter made some rude comments when paying, but the food and seating were good, as I said. They just needed a bit more politeness.

L'Osteria impresses with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The pizzas, in particular, are huge and delicious, and the pasta is also fresh and well-seasoned. The service was friendly, but at times a bit rushed, which meant we had to wait a bit longer. Overall, a very pleasant evening – one star deducted only for the wait time and the noise in the restaurant.

We were there on Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 6 p.m. I'm not usually a fan of L'Osteria, having had many negative experiences there in the past. This time, I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the service. Our server was very attentive and gave us excellent advice regarding our meal choices. It was clear that he enjoyed his job, which is why we felt very comfortable. The pizzas are extremely large, and you can see everything being freshly prepared in the kitchen. They weren't the best in terms of taste, but they were still good. The dessert (tiramisu and a mascarpone strawberry cream) was also delicious. I also think it's very positive that they offer seasonal daily specials. All in all, a pleasant experience :-)

Worst service I’ve had in my life. Food took an hour and was cold. I would have had a coffee in addition to my beer if I had ever seen the waiter. I waived down the waiter as I was ready to leave and he served 3 other tables before heading back inside, so I said "Hello?“ loudly as he was far away. He finally processed my card. I declined to tip.

Highly recommended if you value quality and friendly service. They clearly put their heart and soul into the food. We would have eaten there on both days of our two-day stay in Bonn. It was very cozy both inside and outside, the food took a reasonable amount of time to prepare, and the food was delicious. Give it a try yourself.

As our hunger grew, we decided to have pizza, and during our search, we came across this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They asked if everything was okay and if we were all right. The food was hot and delicious, and the drinks were cold and refreshing. Many thanks to the staff and the kitchen.

We've eaten here a few times now. This time, the pizza was delicious, and we were thrilled with the option to share a pizza, even with two different halves! Friendly and fast service. We would have appreciated a wider selection of non-alcoholic beer. The music can be quite loud at times. We'll definitely be back!

The pizza was, as usual, quite large, but the pasta dishes were absolutely not worth the price. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating, although this changed abruptly when we paid by card because we didn't leave a tip. Not because we didn't leave a tip, but it's outrageous that they dictate the percentage tip you can leave when paying by card. Since we still want to decide for ourselves how much we give, and we thought 10% of our bill was a lot, we didn't leave a tip. The waitress's net amount disappeared immediately. In our case, that would have been a €7 tip.

Everything your heart desires – prompt service, very friendly staff. Even the foreign language of my non-German-speaking friends was no problem; they immediately switched languages. The food is consistently delicious, the pizzas are beautifully thin, and the prices are fair – and if you can't finish the cart-wheel-sized pizza, you can have the rest packed in a pizza box and continue eating at home. We liked it, enjoyed it, and we will be back.

The manager/branch manager was extremely unfriendly and wanted to seat five of us at a table for four. He said the other tables were reserved, or rather, there wouldn't be enough space for our pizzas at two tables for three 😳. He insisted we sit somewhere in the aisle, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Everything was worn: The candlelight had broken glass, The tabletop had broken glass, The dishes had dirty water stains. L'Osteria generally skimps on tableware; they're just hanging on the counters for decoration. The pizza was served lukewarm 🤷‍♀️ NEVER AGAIN!

I was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food—especially the aglio e olio—simply fantastic. What really made the visit special, though, was the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable. You immediately feel at ease and in good hands. A definite recommendation! I ordered three pizzas via Lieferando. Unfortunately, the delivery didn't arrive within the stated time of 30-60 minutes. After 75 minutes, I tried calling twice in vain. After 2.5 hours, they called me and told me that they unfortunately had to cancel the order because they didn't have any drivers available to deliver. I give L'Osteria Bonn In der Sürst credit for calling me to explain the situation. However, I also think they didn't wait 150 minutes to realize that the order couldn't be delivered. And they obviously had my phone number. In the meantime, I could have ordered elsewhere and wouldn't have waited. I probably won't order pizza there again.

Osteria is a chain of pizza restaurants that became famous first in Germany and then in Austria and Luxembourg. I go there every now and then exclusively for the pizza, and this place is no exception: huge but light pizza—not bad. Kind and friendly staff, and excellent coffee.

I recently ordered four dishes from "L'Osteria Bonn in der Sürst." Unfortunately, two of them arrived cold, one didn't arrive at all, and I found a piece of a dish sponge in my pasta dish. It was truly disgusting and spoiled my appetite.

We ate pizza. Unfortunately, the plates are too small, so the edges extend over the plate. I find that unappetizing. The edges were empty. I had two different halves, so there was variety. But the arugula was in a pile, the vegetables were scarce, and the edges were pretty empty, especially on the side with the shrimp. It looked so unloved... I thought it was too expensive for that. The staff was very nice.

Good food. Terribly slow and inefficient service. Editing review for more details for restaurant: The server was not slow. In fact, they had over 12 tables outside that they were managing. However, they were clearing the tables, delivering the food, taking the orders, and bringing the bills, all mostly on their own. The seemingly unaware support staff and having only one server for a large outdoor patio caused the inefficiency and slowness. I waited for over 40 minutes after finishing my meal for our super-busy waiter to come a clear the plates and deliver the bill. They were doing their best though, I could see. A manager should have stepped in to close out the many finished tables.

As always, the food at L'Osteria was reliably delicious, the service was excellent, and if you sit outside, you have a wonderful view of Bonn Minster.

Hello, I was here on a school trip. I ordered a pizza for 15€. It looked ok, but it was served cold and there were hardly any food options. The slices were abnormally huge, and we found a hair in one of my classmates' pizzas.

Very friendly and delicious, but the Pizza Mare had some mussel shells that crunched and hurt when you bit into them. So be careful. Everything else was fine.❤️

Avoid. We came to restaurant, waited 20 mins to receive order and another 30 mins to get a wine, even though we were waving as strongly as Forest Gump does on his boat. I ordered spagetti bolognese and I must admit - I recently had a box diet with exactly that food and box diet was way better. As for atmosphere, unnecessarily loud music, a table where you get hit by passing person and no AC. Been long time since I had such bad experience. (Btw Losteria in Prague is amazing, this is complete opposite)

We went to L'Osteria Bonn together and shared two dishes. What I particularly want to highlight is the excellent service on the terrace on a Friday evening! Great service, friendly, and customer-oriented! Definitely a 5* rating in all aspects!

We ordered takeaway food, and the pasta was ready for 15-20 minutes, while the pizza wasn't even being prepared. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this particular branch has been so disorganized. This time was definitely the last time we'll be loyal guests of L'Osteria in several cities. The L'Osteria chain seems to have massively reduced its quality, standards, and QM over the past year.

The food was delicious as always, but it deducted two stars: The food only arrived after an hour. The service was a bit distracted. We ordered more drinks, but they kept getting forgotten because the outdoor area was being cleared up.

All in all, we'll be back when we're in Bonn. We were definitely full, and the food was very, very tasty. A word about the service...they were first-class. I was at L'osteria recently and I was absolutely thrilled! The pizza was simply outstanding – crispy base and fresh ingredients. The booking system was smooth and confirmed ASAP! 🎉 The large group booking went well; the food was great, and the staff were amazing! 🤩 The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, and even the bathroom had a fun Italian lesson! The only downside was the hot chocolate, it was made with warm milk, and the cocoa powder didn't dissolve properly.

I ordered and paid for pizzas at Lieferando, but didn't receive them because the order was supposedly missing. The tip was also withheld from the refund. Absolutely outrageous.

I came from Mannheim with friends and ate there. Three of us, including me, ordered pasta dishes, and all three of us were sick with nausea within a few hours, and one of us even days later, and one of us had food poisoning. The pasta wasn't even served lukewarm, and there was very little sauce. I wouldn't go there again.

Very nice, informal dinner experience. We shared a pizza (plenty for two women), but there were other options.

There were two of us and we were very happy with the Gamberetti pizza and the Gamberetti gnocchi. The drinks Moscow Mule and Hugo were really tasty. When the Amore hearts were not credited during payment due to technical problems, a solution was offered in a very professional manner. We'll get our main course for free next time. We are happy and will not just come back because of the main course. Thank you for the lovely afternoon!

We were a group of 10 people and we enjoy coming there often. Unfortunately, this time we were often ignored by the waitress. We had to wait more than 30(!) minutes to place the order! Unfortunately it was similar when paying or placing further orders. No idea what was going on that day.
