It's often too loud for me there. But that's due to the layout of the premises.

Amazing and huge pizza! Very attentive and friendly staff.

We went there at my companion's request. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but I felt like I was in a cafeteria. Loud, dirty table, stressed staff. We were there around 6 pm, and I felt uncomfortable the entire time. The system with the oversized pizza on the plate is reminiscent of Five Guys with their fries. It suggests to the customer that they're getting more than they expect for their money. My companion had ordered pasta, which arrived about 20 minutes later along with my (correct) pizza. It took another 10 minutes for the correct food to arrive, during which time I had already eaten more than half of the pizza because we ended up sharing it until her food arrived. Unfortunately, her food was barely edible (pasta with Bolognese sauce), so I tried for about 10 minutes to call a server to our table to pay, but without success. In the end, I went to the bar and asked for the bill. The staff seemed friendly but were visibly stressed, which isn't surprising at that time of day, but overall the visit was a complete disappointment. Unfortunately, the upstairs area was closed; otherwise, things might have gone better because the noise level would have been more evenly distributed, but of course, that would require more staff.

Both dining in and ordering online is a complete disaster. I don't understand the good reviews here. Ordering: either it gets randomly canceled after 1.5 hours, or half the order is forgotten, and when you call back, you just get stupid answers. Then the dish is no longer available on Uber Eats. Just be honest instead of lying to your customers. In the restaurant: either you're completely forgotten, or you wait over an hour for your food. The staff is also completely disorganized because there are no proper procedures, and you don't even know who the food belongs to. Get a grip!

A warm welcome, good adaptation to the language barrier (menu in German and English), excellent and generous cuisine (the size of the pizzas is amazing).

The restaurant is generally very good – the decor, atmosphere, and ambiance are truly excellent. The food and wine were also delicious. However, the waiters didn't seem entirely professional. The service was generally good, but a slightly negative impression remained. The positive aspects of the restaurant, however, far outweigh this. Furthermore, the entrance door appears to be faulty: it slams very loudly when closing, which slightly detracts from the otherwise perfect atmosphere. If you overlook these minor drawbacks, the restaurant is highly recommended. I would definitely recommend a visit – at least once.

Yesterday, a large group of us went to L'Osteria and everyone was completely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the value for money was excellent! The only complaint was the noise level, but that's always a problem with such a large group and is much worse in other restaurants.

The food is great but I felt like I was ignored by the waiters when I was about to pay. It also felt a bit out of place when the payment terminal asked for a tip. Overall, pretty good but I'm paying in cash the next time xD

I was in Bonn for one night, and we ate with a large group (around 60 people) at L'OSTERIA BONN IN DER SÜRST. I've never experienced a server like Sharon. He's super friendly. He has a great memory for who ordered what. He's quick, but doesn't get stressed or thrown off balance. He alone deserves 5 stars 🤩 Thanks for the phone charge. The food was, of course, incredibly delicious. I think I'll definitely come back to Bonn to try this mega pizza 🍕.

L'Osteria, the food is always delicious. It was very loud here, making it difficult to hold a conversation. The service was friendly, but we had to wait a long time for our food, which wasn't the fault of the very friendly lady who was in charge of our table. The restroom was missing soap and paper towels; luckily, we had hand sanitizer with us.

A wonderful L'osteria spread over two floors. The food was, as always, excellent, and the service was impeccable. I ate there with a friend. The starter and main course were delicious. We then treated ourselves to dessert. We were served by the lovely waiter, Max, who was very attentive and provided excellent service. We come from a restaurant background ourselves and can say that he is a very personable waiter!

We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. The lasagna was great, and the shrimp with zucchini noodles was just the right level of spicy. My son had a Margarita pizza and loved that as well. The waiter suggested a couple desserts, including the Tiramisu, and both were delicious! Definitely another great evening at a L'Osteria.

The food was delicious. The service, on the other hand, was awful! It started out quite nice, but just because you don't tip when paying with a card, you're labeled a bad person and just leave. I wanted them to box up the rest of my pizza...I got the smallest box, and the pizza was ripped apart and stacked on top of each other! Absolutely disgusting. That's really rude. Not worth visiting again. But I've had many bad experiences with the service there. Reported by friends and family.

The food at Losteria was truly delicious and of very good quality. Unfortunately, my visit was marked by one unpleasant experience: I couldn't reach the restroom with my wheelchair because the elevator was broken. No one offered to help me when I asked. This seriously soured my stay, even though the dining experience was otherwise positive.

Last night, we were at L'Osteria Bonn in the Südstadt district with about nine people. Although the place was packed, our server, Sharon, was extremely friendly, attentive, and cheerful. He accommodated all our requests and left a very positive impression. I've visited several other L'Osteria locations, but the service here was particularly outstanding. The only thing I could note is the somewhat loud acoustics—but that's more due to the building than the service. All in all, a great visit. I'd love to come back the next time I'm in Bonn.

I know l'Osteria and have never been disappointed. Until now. First of all, it would have been nice if the menu hadn't been stuck to the table. I ordered tagliatelle from the seasonal menu, and what came was spaghetti. Tagliatelle was out. No one asked me if I wanted a different size or if I should order something else. I gave it a chance. The sauce was raw. Kids, tomato sauce needs to be cooked, not just reheated! I don't want tomato juice on my pasta! The waitress was very friendly and offered me an alternative. The pizza was okay.

I've been to Bonn twice for business and visited this restaurant. Both times, I was completely satisfied: The quality of the food was consistently very high, freshly prepared, and presented with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the attentive yet unobtrusive service; you immediately feel welcome. The ambiance is pleasantly modern without losing its coziness and is suitable for both a business lunch and a relaxed evening. The value for money is also absolutely perfect. In conclusion: A restaurant that I can recommend without reservation. I would be happy to return on my next visit to Bonn!

This was one of the most disgusting pizzas I've ever been served. The dough was completely soggy, half-raw, and immediately crumbled into a greasy mess as soon as you tried to pick it up. Everything was swimming in oil, the pizza was way too big for the plate, and it came completely uncut—good luck eating it like a normal person. The onions were simply thrown on in absurd quantities and not even distributed properly, making the pizza a complete mess. For the price, that's absolutely unacceptable. The only positive thing were the great waitresses, who were friendly and attentive as always. But what's happening in the kitchen is a disaster. I've been a fan of this restaurant for a long time, but after this experience, I'll never go back.

We ate here on a Saturday evening and, despite rush hour, managed to get a table by the window for four. Sharon (our server) was incredibly sweet and very personable. Absolutely not pushy and was very attentive to us customers throughout the evening. He deserves a raise! If you'd had Kölsch, it would have been the perfect evening <3

Huge pizzas and very tasty! The service was terrible. We had to wait a long time several times for someone to come by. Some employees deliberately didn't look around to see if they could help anyone. The person who brought the drinks wasn't allowed to answer questions or bring the bill, and also refused to get a colleague. Finally, after fifteen minutes, I got up and went to someone myself. I then paid right there, standing in front of another table. The worst part was that we ordered a cola and it arrived without carbonation. We immediately mentioned this, and the response was that the carbonation machine was broken, so they couldn't do anything about it. We weren't offered another drink, but the glasses (which had been brought) were simply put back down. When we went to pay, we mentioned it again, but even then, the only response was "yes, we know." The drinks were also listed at full price, even though we didn't actually receive the drinks we ordered. I'm surprised they serve this, don't tell us beforehand, don't compensate us, and are so nonchalant about it.

The biggest pizza of my life (62 😜), a very cheerful, friendly waitress (Maj), something you unfortunately only rarely encounter these days!!! I can definitely recommend the Losteria in Bonn!!!!

We were there on Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 6 p.m. I'm not usually a fan of L'Osteria, having had many negative experiences there in the past. This time, I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the service. Our server was very attentive and gave us excellent advice regarding our meal choices. It was clear that he enjoyed his job, which is why we felt very comfortable. The pizzas are extremely large, and you can see everything being freshly prepared in the kitchen. They weren't the best in terms of taste, but they were still good. The dessert (tiramisu and a mascarpone strawberry cream) was also delicious. I also think it's very positive that they offer seasonal daily specials. All in all, a pleasant experience :-)

Worst service I’ve had in my life. Food took an hour and was cold. I would have had a coffee in addition to my beer if I had ever seen the waiter. I waived down the waiter as I was ready to leave and he served 3 other tables before heading back inside, so I said "Hello?“ loudly as he was far away. He finally processed my card. I declined to tip.

It was very cozy both inside and outside, the food took a reasonable amount of time to prepare, and the food was delicious. Give it a try yourself.

As our hunger grew, we decided to have pizza, and during our search, we came across this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They asked if everything was okay and if we were all right. The food was hot and delicious, and the drinks were cold and refreshing. Many thanks to the staff and the kitchen.

We've eaten here a few times now. This time, the pizza was delicious, and we were thrilled with the option to share a pizza, even with two different halves! Friendly and fast service. The pizza was, as usual, quite large, but the pasta dishes were absolutely not worth the price. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating, although this changed abruptly when we paid by card because we didn't leave a tip. Not because we didn't leave a tip, but it's outrageous that they dictate the percentage tip you can leave when paying by card. Since we still want to decide for ourselves how much we give, and we thought 10% of our bill was a lot, we didn't leave a tip. The waitress's net amount disappeared immediately. In our case, that would have been a €7 tip.

Everything your heart desires – prompt service, very friendly staff. Even the foreign language of my non-German-speaking friends was no problem; they immediately switched languages. The food is consistently delicious, the pizzas are beautifully thin, and the prices are fair – and if you can't finish the cart-wheel-sized pizza, you can have the rest packed in a pizza box and continue eating at home. We liked it, enjoyed it, and we will be back.

The manager/branch manager was extremely unfriendly and wanted to seat five of us at a table for four. He said the other tables were reserved, or rather, there wouldn't be enough space for our pizzas at two tables for three 😳. He insisted we sit somewhere in the aisle, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Everything was worn: The candlelight had broken glass, The tabletop had broken glass, The dishes had dirty water stains. L'Osteria generally skimps on tableware; they're just hanging on the counters for decoration. The pizza was served lukewarm 🤷‍♀️ NEVER AGAIN!

Osteria is a chain of pizza restaurants that became famous first in Germany and then in Austria and Luxembourg. I go there every now and then exclusively for the pizza, and this place is no exception: huge but light pizza—not bad. Kind and friendly staff, and excellent coffee.

I was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food—especially the aglio e olio—simply fantastic. What really made the visit special, though, was the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable. You immediately feel at ease and in good hands. A definite recommendation! I'd love to come back.

I ordered three pizzas via Lieferando. Unfortunately, the delivery didn't arrive within the stated time of 30-60 minutes. After 75 minutes, I tried calling twice in vain. After 2.5 hours, they called me and told me that they unfortunately had to cancel the order because they didn't have any drivers available to deliver. I give L'Osteria Bonn In der Sürst credit for calling me to explain the situation. However, I also think they didn't wait 150 minutes to realize that the order couldn't be delivered. And they obviously had my phone number. In the meantime, I could have ordered elsewhere and wouldn't have waited. I probably won't order pizza there again.

I recently ordered four dishes from "L'Osteria Bonn in der Sürst." Unfortunately, two of them arrived cold, one didn't arrive at all, and I found a piece of a dish sponge in my pasta dish. It was truly disgusting and spoiled my appetite.

We ate pizza. Unfortunately, the plates are too small, so the edges extend over the plate. I find that unappetizing. The edges were empty. I had two different halves, so there was variety. But the arugula was in a pile, the vegetables were scarce, and the edges were pretty empty, especially on the side with the shrimp. It looked so unloved... I thought it was too expensive for that. The staff was very nice.
