Insel Hotel in Bonn

We were only there for breakfast. Everything very tasty and fresh. Always my pleasure.

A very nice, small city hotel. The cleanliness, the very friendly service staff, and the clean rooms are worth mentioning. The breakfast is also a real highlight. Excellent value for money. Well-stocked, with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The location is central. Plenty of parking is available, and you can also charge your electric vehicle in the enclosed courtyard. Because of its location directly on the pedestrian zone and very close to the train station, it's centrally located yet very quiet. I'd be happy to come back.

A beautiful, centrally located hotel.

The hotel is very centrally located next to the theater, I stayed here for one night. The reception was friendly and professional. I found the business room I booked to be clean and visually appealing, and I hoped the location at the back (towards the parking lot) would be quiet. Nobody could have guessed that the theater would make a lot of noise on Sunday morning when it was being cleared. The rooms are a bit noisy and the bed was too hard for me. The service was consistently helpful and quick. I really liked the breakfast; in addition to the usual selection, there was also freshly squeezed orange juice, sparkling wine and small pieces of cake. I would recommend this hotel.

So we had booked 2 nights for New Year's Eve and then became seriously ill and couldn't start the trip. It was stated in the booking confirmation that it was not possible to cancel, but I think there would have to be some sensitivity in order to come to an agreement in the situation. I didn't make any demands, but I would have liked the hotel management to be more accommodating.

We ate at this restaurant today! I had a burger that ended up tasting very strange! That night at 3 o'clock it started! Diarrhea and vomiting the rest of the night! Thank you for nothing!!!

It's a nicely renovated hotel located close to Bonn. The rooms are clean and relatively new. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The only downside is that the soundproofing in the room is not great.

Dirty shop!!!! Wasn't allowed to use the toilet with my 2 1/2 year old son who just got sober. What a service 👎👎👎

Unfortunately, two prescription medical ointments and painkillers were stolen from us during our stay. The hotel denies that its employees were involved in this matter. An ointment is currently not available, hence our annoyance.

Centrally located hotel with parking directly in the courtyard (access from the spa park side). Good breakfast with a varied selection. Nice and attentive service. The restaurant has a small menu with tasty dishes.

Staff not really professionally competent Inattentive

Im Dezember zu unsern Hochzeitstag reisen wir zum dritten mal in diesem schönen entspannten Hotel an. Im letzten November waren wir auch mit allem zufrieden, das Zimmer war noch nicht fertig gewesen. Für uns kein Problem, auch wenn es Allerheiligen war, so haben wir einen schönen Nachmittag Spaziergang gemacht , bis um 15.00 Uhr das Zimmer fertig war. An der Rezeption wurde wir nett empfangen. Zimmer war wie gebucht und alles in Ordnung. Frühstück ist ein Traum , große Auswahl alles frisch und lecker , uns wurde auch dort einen guten Morgen gewünscht. Wenn wir mal eine Auszeit brauchen, dann kommen wir doch immer wieder gerne in dieses Hotel. Man fühlt sich immer sehr wohl dort !! Macht weiter so wie gehabt liebes Team.

My room was clean and spacious and the furnishings were modern and in good condition. The mattress was a bit too hard for my personal taste, but that's a matter of taste ;-)

The reception was very unprofessional and unfriendly. When I asked why check-in wasn't until 3pm I was mocked and told "We decide when you check in, we're not like other hotels." If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else!” It was obvious that there was an inexperienced young woman at the reception who didn't even know basic social etiquette. The location of the hotel is good, but the price and rooms are definitely not. The hotel is old and in need of renovation.

Absolutely recommended - we had a business room in which the sofa bed was set up as an additional bed for our child. The room was clean, pleasant and modernly furnished, including a fan and air conditioning. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was really great. We'd love to come back :)

Great hotel in downtown Bad Godesberg, located right next to the theater. The staff, both in the hotel and in the restaurant, are very friendly and accommodating. With a little luck you can also get a free parking space in the yard.

We spent one night at the Insel Hotel. The air-conditioned room was modern, very clean and there was a refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The brunch on Sunday morning was very tasty. In addition to the usual cold cuts, cereals, fruit, cakes, eggs, bacon, etc. there was freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh smoothies and sparkling wine. We were very satisfied and would stay there again at any time.

Clean and quiet room, nice staff, modern furnishings and also very comfortable, breakfast absolutely delicious and more than sufficient, gladly again!

The staff's treatment at checkout was very bad... one of the hotel workers entered the room without permission and the manner was very rude and I was forced to leave the room immediately, knowing that all hotels check-out time is at 12 o'clock. Not that the employee entered my bedroom while I was naked...and did not ask permission to enter!

Nice hotel in the center of Bad Godesberg. For us it was the starting point for a concert in the city. First pleasant surprise: we got a parking space directly at the hotel. We received a friendly welcome immediately afterwards, our room was very spacious and tidy - nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet the next morning was just amazing - too much choice for not enough hunger 😜 and everything was extremely tasty. A perfect start to the day. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can therefore fully recommend this hotel.

In the last five years I returned to the Insel Hotel in Bad Godesberg as it is a home to me when coming to the Bonn area. Just the best.

Nice, clean hotel with direct access to the shopping street. Parking spaces are available directly behind the house. The breakfast was very tasty with a wide selection of different drinks and dishes. Single rooms are of sufficient size and equipped with air conditioning. I didn't use the fitness area, but it looked very appealing from the outside.

Nice hotel in Bad Godeberg's pedestrian zone, still quiet and with a great on-site restaurant. The rooms were nice and very clean, the bathroom was well equipped. The spa is small but nice. The breakfast was also very good and the service was really friendly and accommodating.

Well-kept, well-modernized hotel with a very good breakfast. Bad Godesberg is a bit away from Bonn, but its location in the pedestrian zone is advantageous. It's a shame that the sauna is chargeable, otherwise that would be a clear advantage.

Very nice, well-kept hotel. The room was very quiet with a direct view of the Godesburg. The wellness area is very comfortable and the steam sauna is great. The breakfast was really great. There was nothing missing. I thought it was a great idea that you could make your own fresh vegetables and fruit juice. The service was always very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

We stayed here a year ago and had a standard double room with an extra bed. The room was fine, beds ok. The lighting and the room itself was a bit too dark for my opinion. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection, lots of fresh products. Top

We have been in Bonn and here mostly twice a year since 2019. Everything is great again, from the service, food and the ambience. Clearly - recommendation!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for an overnight stay at the weekend and loved it. The rooms are very clean and attractive, there is parking space and the entire hotel smells very pleasant. But the staff was awesome. Super friendly, we immediately felt very comfortable. The breakfast buffet the next morning had everything and it was delicious. We will definitely come back and would recommend it immediately. Thanks for the lovely weeknight.

Traditional hotel and café in Bonn Bad Godesberg. Politicians, stars and starlets met here as early as the 1950s. Great cafe with very friendly service and a fantastic zotron roll. Happy Rhenish hustle and bustle and many nice shops for shopping nearby.

The location is really good and there are several parking spaces that belong to the hotel. The rooms were clean. In fact, as you can see from the photos here on Google - there are some rooms that are already very modern and others that you can see that they haven't been modernized yet, although these rooms are still very well maintained. The breakfast buffet is really great, there is a large selection and there is something for both sweet and savory breakfasters.

I was in Bonn for two days on business and came across the “Insel Hotel” because the hotel I usually book was full. From now on the “Insel Hotel” is my favorite and my first choice. It is centrally located, hotel parking is also available and at an acceptable price. The breakfast buffet is also very good compared to others and very varied. The hotel bar is also not to be despised. I will definitely come back to this address when I have business or private business in Bonn again. Thanks to the staff for making my stay as pleasant as possible. 🤗👍🏻

The breakfast was great!! Unfortunately there was no halal kebab. Luckily there is one on every corner in Bad Godestan!

Saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal

Zentral gelegen. Von hier aus kommt man mit ÖPNV gut in die Innenstadt. Sehr freundliches Personal und schöner Wellness-Bereich.

Hotelzimmer war in Ordnung. Eine defekte Duschhalterung und ein nicht zugänglicher Fitnessraum aufgrund Malerarbeiten, aber ansonsten war das okay. Allerdings für den Preis sehr simpel gehalten. Die Lage war super, mittendrin in der kleinen Stadt. Allerdings können wir das dazugehörige Restaurant leider ganz und gar nicht empfehlen. Teilweise kalte Speisen und 45 Minuten Wartezeit auf die Rechnung fanden wir schon bemerkenswert.

Die *junge* Bedienung hatte heute, 23.04.2022, nicht den besten Tag. 2023 war die Bedienung super.

Hotel gut, Sauna klasse, Frühstück klasse, habe mich wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren nur im Café und haben eine leckere Herrentorte sowie holländische Kirschsahne gegessen! Die Bedienung war sehr gut! Leider nur zu zweit und man sollte Geduld beim Warten mitbringen. Man muss halt in der Adventszeit beim gut besuchten Nikolausmarkt damit rechnen.

Das Zimmer wurde wohl vor kurzem renoviert es hat sehr stark nach Farbe gerochen. Entsprechend unangenehm war dort zu schlafen.

Immer wieder sehr angenehm hier. Der Service und der Kaffee zum Frühstück lassen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Sauna benutze ich hier auch sehr gerne und kann diese nur empfehlen! Komme immer gerne wieder :)

Sehr entäuschend, wir hatten vor 1 Monat eine Gans bestellt, dann kam 2 Tage vor unserem Besuch ein Anruf , man hätte sich vertan und es gäb nur Keulen....kein Ofen mehr frei...die Keulen waren so extrem fest,zäh und nicht geniesbar....und das ganze für immerhin 36,50 € ...keine Entschuldigung von der Küche....oder eine Wiedergutmachung...sehr schlecht...das war es für uns ...nie wieder...

Ein sehr herziges kleines Hotel mit dem direkten Zugang zur Einkaufszone. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden, allerdings gegen Aufpreis. Der Aufzug ist leider sehr klein, wir hatten zudritt kaum Platz, das motiviert dazu öfters die Treppe zu benutzen, denn Laufen ist gesund. Zimmer sind etwas klein aber sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein Besuch lohn sich auf jeden Fall!

Sehr schönes Restaurant, in dem wir schon öfters gefrühstückt haben. Nette Bedienung, die man aber leider mal auf die Reihenfolge des bestellten Frühstücks aufmerksam machen muss. Heute war wieder alles top, sehr gemütlich und schon ein bisschen weihnachtlich dekoriert. Auch draußen wurden schon die entsprechenden Buden für den Nikolausmarkt aufgebaut! Heute mal wieder sehr lecker wie immer. Danke für die zuverlässige Tischreservierung! Ich bleibe bei meinem Künstlerfrühstück! Das Rührei reicht gut für 2 Personen 😊 Wie immer sehr angenehm zu frühstücken bei dezenter Musik und netter neuer Bedienung. Habe diesmal das geröstete Landbrot mit Avocado genommen, total lecker!

Der Service ist der absolute Hammer. So nette Mitarbeiter! Waren ein Wochenende hier und hatten durchweg nettes Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet! Und es gibt ein super Frühstück. Wir hatten an beiden Abenden ein 3-Gänge-Menü. Auch das war super lecker! Danke für ein solch gelungenes Wochenende!!!

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Unser Doppelzimmer und das Bad waren sauber und ok. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Der Hotelparkplatz befindet sich direkt hinter dem Hotel, besser geht es nicht. Komme gerne wieder.

Nettes zuvorkommendes Personal, schöne Zimmer, direkt in der Innenstadt. Perfekt. Der Rhein war 1,2km entfernt. Das Frühstück war echt super, vor allem habe ich lange kein so gutes fluffiges Rührei mehr gegessen.

Waren beruflich für 2 Nächte im Hotel. Das Personal war super nett und super freundlich. Frühstück war echt klasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben das Insel Hotel Mitte September als Hotel für die Gäste unserer Trauung genutzt. Hierfür haben wir vom Hotel ein Zimmerkontingent erhalten, auf das wir unsere Gäste buchen konnten. Sämtliche Absprachen mit dem Insel Hotel haben wunderbar funktioniert. Leider konnte uns nicht garantiert werden, dass unsere Gäste früher in die Zimmer konnten. Dies wurde jedoch von Anfang an klar kommuniziert und es wurden keine falschen Versprechungen gemacht - dies spricht definitiv für das Haus. Am nächsten Morgen erwartete uns eine Überraschung, denn für unsere Gesellschaft waren extra Tische für das Frühstück reserviert worden. Das Personal des Hotels hat stets versucht, uns unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen und war immer freundlich. Wir würden das Insel Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Innenstadt, hat einen eigenen Parkplatz 12€ am Tag ist auch in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind klein aber schön gehalten ebenso das Bad, jedoch Warmwasser dauert überdurchschnittlich lange bis es floß und ein zweites mal spühlen bei der Toilette war eine Geduldsprobe. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es bis auf die Brötchen ( zu sehr ausgebacken) nichts zu bemängeln die Auswahl war groß. Leider wird man wenn man im Außenbereich sitzt gerne vom Personal vergessen, und darum leider nur 3 Sterne, ansonsten wären es 4 gute Sterne gewesen.

Wir wollten im Insel Cafe nur einen Aperitif zu uns nehmen, aber Nino hat uns derart liebenswürdig bedient, dass wir dort auch noch gegessen haben...es war ein sehr schöner Abend...zu empfehlen.

Som gæster på hotellet var det nærliggende at besøge restauranten. Men det skulle vi fortryde! Betjeningen var klodset, og serverede noget andet end vi havde bestilt. Den bestilte mad var ikke særligt godt udført. Det kan næppe være en kok der har produceret den serverede mad.

Das Inselhotel hat die perfekte Lage in der Fußgängerzone von Bad Godesberg. Es gibt einen abschließbaren Holzschuppen für das Fahrrad. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und gemütlich, das Bad glänzt durch ausreichende Ablagefläche und gute Beleuchtung. Alles einwandfrei sauber. Das gesamt Personal ist sehr nett und gern bereit alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Frühstück war perfekt, Smoothiemaker, Saftpresse, große Auswahl von allem was das Herz begehrt. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war rundum perfekt. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top!

Nettes Restaurant im Hotel inmitten der FuZo von BGo. Die Preise sind moderat, das Essen qualitativ gut und portionsmäßig "sattsam". Gerne wieder. Im Außenbereich hat es einen schönen Ausblick auf das Treiben der unterschiedlichsten Kulturen auf dem Theaterplatz.

Trevligt hotell i mitten av Bad Godesberg som är strax söder om Bonn. Väldigt trevlig personal. Rummen är lite äldre standard utan AC. Hunden är välkommen i hela hotellet även restaurangen.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. As someone with 13 years of experience working in the hotel industry across various establishments, I must say that the breakfast provided here was truly exceptional. The selection and variety surpassed anything I have seen before, even in larger hotels. It was a delightful and delicious start to the day. The room I stayed in was modest in size, but it met all my needs and left me satisfied. While it may not have had any extravagant features, it was comfortable and provided a pleasant stay. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly arranged a kinderbet for our baby. Their attention to detail and consideration for our family’s needs was greatly appreciated.

It’s 2:00 am, I can hear someone snoring in the room next door, same person that was watching T.v. until 1:00 am. Funny because I have a hearing loss issue and still can hear those noises? The hotel is very close to the metro station, in a very calm and pedestrian zone, easy access to restaurants, and the breakfast and service is really good! It has a small fitness room with 4 machines that may be more than enough and the room is clean and has a shower and sauna. The only main issue is that I couldn’t sleep because of the snoring and t.v. noise next door, but I may be too sensitive to those type of noises.
