Ristorante "Villa Toscana" in Templin

This year was just as good as last year! Fantastic! Without a reservation, we got three lovely tables to choose from for our group of four. The service was prompt, the selection was good, the drinks arrived quickly, and all the food arrived at the right time. We started with soup and bruschetta (free, delicious, fresh, and not greasy) for everyone. Then we had two pizzas, pasta, and lamb shank, along with salad, all at the same time. Everything was absolutely delicious. They quickly brought a doggy bag for the leftover lamb. We enjoyed various coffees and were given a complimentary shot of schnapps to take away. Our table neighbors, a young couple with a very small baby, received their food a little later so they could cuddle the baby. Wonderful! How lovely it must be in the summer! Now I'll come every time I'm in Templin! All the best to the Villa and its residents!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I've never eaten so well before. I'm from Hamburg and we had a girls' weekend in Templin. Giovanni and his staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating. A visit is a must if you're in the area.

Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars. The reason is that we booked for our wedding anniversary, and there were children at the next table, which wasn't a problem; we changed seats ourselves. However, I'm used to Italian and Greek restaurants not offering an aperitif after we paid, which is unusual and should be part of the meal. It was a bit disappointing, but the food itself was good and 5 stars. Best regards

This was our first time visiting the pizzeria, and we were pleasantly surprised. My Pizza Mista was delicious. The pizza dough, in particular, had a fantastic texture. Excellent! The shrimp and arugula stir-fry was also very well seasoned, and the shrimp portion was generous. We enjoyed the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. The food prices were reasonable, but the drink prices were unfortunately too high, as is often the case. Overall, however, the experience was very enjoyable.

I was there with my little daughter. The service was excellent; every extra request my daughter made was met with a smile. The food was fantastic, and the dining room had a very cozy charm. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Tip: Book in advance or reserve a table!

Unfortunately, my tagliatelle was undercooked. The food tasted okay, though. Big eaters should order more than one main course. The staff was cold, "gruff," and only interested in minimal communication. I felt uncomfortable as a result. When I asked for the bill, the waiter left the table while I was trying to explain something in more detail. Current pop music was playing, which was rather inappropriate for the pleasant ambiance. Inside, the tables were very cramped, and the lighting was bright.

The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. Very friendly service. Dogs allowed.

I've rarely been to such a good restaurant. As soon as you enter, you receive a very warm welcome, and the ambiance is truly fantastic! Very cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere of its own. The menu is very well-balanced and, above all, great value for money :) Thank you for the amazing rump steak with fried potatoes – I highly recommend the steak and the entire restaurant!

We're thrilled! Very friendly service, and despite the place being packed, we were served very quickly. There were three of us and we had three different meals. Everyone was very satisfied. The price/performance ratio was definitely exceeded. Let's put it this way: if the price had been three times higher... then I would have had something to complain about, but that would be complaining at a high level. I just have to address one point. I'm a trained roofer, and of course, the shingle roof immediately caught my eye. Folks: slapping a listless red paint on old tiles is a no-go!

A very appealing restaurant. The location, right next to the well-preserved city wall, is very romantic. A small beer garden outside is inviting when it's not raining, as it was during our visit. We noticed good food and an unusually good Aperol Spritz. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

The fact that we waited 45 minutes for spaghetti aioli isn't so bad, but the fact that we were then asked if we wanted Parmesan and then had to pay an extra two euros without any warning is a disgrace! I expect Parmesan with pasta, and if it costs extra, you have to point that out. We won't be going there again!

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. After about 10 minutes, we placed our food order. The starter arrived fairly quickly. Then we waited a long time, and a salad came with a fish dish. At 7:50 p.m., we asked a waiter when our food would finally arrive. The answer was, "I'll ask you." The information came in 2 minutes. It then came in two stages, and we had our food at 8 p.m. There was no apology, nor was there an answer explaining the very long wait. This is unacceptable!

I was there yesterday, got a menu, and that was it. After 25 minutes without being able to order anything, I left the restaurant. It's a shame, but I definitely won't be coming back.

The food is very good. A large selection. Very friendly staff! It's often full, but there's plenty of space and people spread out. Even when it's full, the food doesn't take forever.

Repeatedly disappointing service – arrogance hard to beat We travel to the Templin area once a year and have visited this restaurant in the past. Unfortunately, we've always been left with the same unpleasant impression – and today we reached the point where this behavior simply has to be described. The service from two particular waiters was once again disappointing – and arrogance and disrespect hard to beat. Their interaction with us as guests was distant, cold, and lacking in any kind of friendliness. When ordering, our request not to use parsley (due to an allergy!) was met with a curt "Yes, yes" – one clearly got the feeling that no one was listening. In fact, the food actually came with parsley. This is not only unprofessional, but can also have health consequences. The drink order was placed carelessly on the table – without a word, without eye contact, and without being assigned to the respective guests. Overall, the impression is created that, as a guest, you are more of an inconvenience than a welcome one. It's a shame, because especially in a region where many guests return regularly, one should focus on respectful, attentive service – not ignorance and arrogance. For us, this was our last visit.

The tastiest and most tender steak I've ever had. The restaurant also has a holiday atmosphere. They were also very friendly. We were seated at a somewhat small table for five, but we were happy there was still room. Fantastic!

It was very crowded around 6:00 p.m. We still managed to get a table. It was right in front of the loudspeaker and very loud. But the waitress was very attentive and moved us with drinks and food as soon as another table became available! Thank you very much!

While looking for something delicious to eat, we came across Villa Toscana. We didn't have a reservation, and despite the terrace being full, we managed to get a table. The staff was extremely friendly, and our food arrived fairly quickly. It was also very tasty, so it was a wonderful evening. We highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, the pizza was soggy in the middle; too much oil was used. This could be better and crispier.

We arrived here today for dinner. We were the first guests. I've never experienced such arrogant service in any other restaurant. Zero eye contact with the customer, drinks orders were only possible after almost 10 minutes, no eye contact, and food orders were ordered without eye contact. My meal had croquettes, which were completely oversalted, and frozen food from a discount store. I paid, tipped, no eye contact, no thank you, no have a nice evening, no goodbye.

The ambience is dark and not particularly attractive, and unfortunately not cozy either. If you're unlucky, you're practically sitting in the entrance. I wouldn't have set up a table there. However, it was too cold for the much nicer terrace. The food is on the higher side for the Uckermark region, but this was by no means reflected in the quality. The zander fillet was small, thin, and rather low-end frozen food. In total, I had to pull six bones out of my mouth. This also speaks for cheap products and a lack of final inspection by the chef, as two bones were directly visible on the outside. Unfortunately, the taste was on par with the appearance: bland and rather neutral. The French fries, the slightly better convenience product, and finally a nest of spinach on the edge of the plate, which was laced with a huge amount of garlic and therefore inedible, rounded off the disappointing overall impression. Essentially, this was cafeteria food for 6 to 8 euros. However, I paid well over 20 euros. I hope the owners read this feedback and improve. In the future, I would rather give other restaurants in the region a fair chance.

The restaurant itself is very good: a large beautiful veranda, located in the city center, fast service. At first, they brought us bruschetta with tomatoes as a greeting, which was very nice. They also brought out our ordered drinks right away. I ordered a dark beer for €5.5. It was not bitter, smelled delicious, drank like kvass! I ordered noodles with salmon. Everything was delicious, but it was not enough for me. My wife ordered pasta with chicken and they forgot to put chicken in it. Then they changed it, brought it with chicken, but forgot to give her a fork, which they took away. We also ordered a pizza, but instead of a large one they made a small one 😅 Overall, I recommend the restaurant, it's just that the waiters can sometimes mess things up a little, but it's okay! They accept cards for payment, which is important 🙌

Wonderful restaurant with a really cute atmosphere. The food was great, the taste was first class. The service is a bit hectic, but when the hut is full, time is money. Our kids got ice cream for free, we got Rama or grappa. Portion size great. A beautiful terrace on the historic wall invites you to dine outside. All in all, highly recommended

Super tasty pizza, only the service was so fast that we couldn't empty the glasses in a relaxed manner and the bill came without being asked. Almost like being kicked out. The menu was also quickly taken away from us because there was none at the next table. The restaurant was around 50% full at the time. But the food was very tasty.

Wrong Italian! Ate here today and unfortunately I realized how embarrassing some people can be. The friendly owner, who identifies himself as Giovanni, is as Italian as a Ming Dynasty vase. As a native Italian, I find it incredibly cheeky to pretend to be Italian and to dazzle guests with fake and very bad Italian. When I asked him in perfect Italian where he came from in Italy, he simply told me Rome (he probably doesn't know any other cities). Then I asked him again in Italian if he was really Italian and he replied again in an incredibly bad broken Italian that he was from Rome, then I realized that he didn't understand the sentence. When I asked him why he spoke perfect Albanian with all the employees, he simply turned around and fled when he was caught. This, my dear people, is the appropriation of a foreign culture and the deliberate blinding of the citizens of Templin, who unfortunately have few points of contact with Italian culture and are coldly exploited by the gentleman. You can run an Italian restaurant, but you have to call yourself Giovanni (the common Italian name) like in a bad movie and deceive people. Personally, I find it incredibly embarrassing. What's next? A Swede pretends to be a Mongolian? The food was okay. However, not enough when there is serious competition. The store wouldn't have lasted two weeks in Cologne, even with a fake Giovanni.

We had eaten at the Pizzeria "Villa Toscana" before and were never disappointed. Last Saturday we reserved a table there again while visiting Templin. It was very crowded, loud and hectic. The staff was friendly. We ordered an appetizer platter and pizzas. The starter was completely okay, but the pizzas weren't worth the money. Carelessly topped, far too salty and with garlic spice instead of fresh garlic, simply bad and not edible. Too bad!

A real pearl of Italian cuisine in the Uckermark If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine in the Uckermark, you should definitely visit this special Italian restaurant. Even though I have to travel from Prenzlau, I'm happy to accept the distance every time - and for good reason! The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive and makes you feel welcome from the first moment. The ambience is simply great: cozy, with a touch of Italian lightness and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. The highlight is of course the food – an absolute delight! From homemade pasta dishes to fresh pizza from the stone oven, you can tell that the cooking is done with passion and high-quality ingredients. Every dish is lovingly prepared and tastes fantastic. For me, this Italian restaurant is a must when I'm in the mood for good food and a bit of Italian lifestyle. Unreserved recommendation – I’ll always be happy to come back!

The positive thing is that the pizza tastes OK. However, the service is disastrous. The 2nd time being rude. You get the impression they don't want you as guests. That's why we went again the second time.

Tasty, good food for an average price. The steaks are good. The drinks are too expensive. It's Templin and not a star restaurant in Berlin or Hamburg. The service is very nice. The ambience is getting better and better in small steps. We like to go there.

A table was reserved on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. and then left standing! I have often had bad experiences with the food and service in this restaurant. But that's not possible! THAT WAS THE LAST TIME!!!

Pretty unfriendly staff. We were a little pressed for time, but the waiter was very unruly, even though it was the afternoon and not busy. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait until the employees had finished eating. Never experienced... Food was mediocre. Big name, but not much behind it.

We ordered food here on vacation to be picked up. Because our youngest wasn't fit enough to go out to eat. Everything was very tasty and we will definitely be repeating it in the restaurant next year.

Ordered pizza today. Hawaii, popeye and rustica. I have rarely eaten such a carelessly made pizza from an Italian restaurant. Completely tasteless and you can literally see the Aldi cooked ham and the cans of pineapple. The whole thing for 37 euros. Never again.

We came via a “street recommendation” and were there for the last time. The relaxed “Italian way” of dealing with us was a bit too much for us. Price/performance for the food was good, we expect more in terms of politeness and respect for the guest. Other restaurateurs in Templin do this better. Maybe the employee just had a bad day. As they say “there is no second chance to make a first impression”. We earn our money too hard. We're happy to spend that somewhere else. We won't be coming back. Too bad. Nice location.
